Is this line dead? Would be nice if someone from Super 7 could provide some clarity. the line seems dead, I've asked many times on their Instagram and have gotten no response. I wonder if the change of presidents had anything to do with this. Well when gas is over $4 a gallon people can fill up their tank or buy an NJPW figure. The difference? They have to fill up their gas tank.

Certain Instagram collector darlings have multiple and I mean multiple ue hulk hogan figures somehow and I have yet to have one grace my door. Just one. How is that? All of these amazon exclusives are the worst. Ultimate Warrior? Who knows. Hopefully he actually delivers one day. It's comical at this point. That’s because those Instagram collectors sit on Instagram all day with no life and just keep refreshing Amazon every two seconds. They buy multiples to flip so they can make up for not having a real job, but at least they can put that they are an “influencer” in their Instagram profile to feel better about themselves. The several instagramers who post every time they go up….it’s clear they do not have a real job. Too much time spent on the gram.

That’s why I stopped pre ordering from Ringside. I use to pre order every Elite set since Elite 16, Ultimates/Defining Moments/Entrance Greats and pre ordered every Jazwares set but even if I placed my order within minutes I would see “influencers” getting them before mine even shipped. Not arrived, but shipped. So I’m done pre ordering since they only care about their influencers now, who don’t seem to be doing a good job because every set sits now. I’ve spent thousands year after year but now other retailers can have my money I don’t need them right away. I don’t really let that bother me because it lets me know I should be getting mine soon. But it’s smart business to send their influencers figures first because those people direct traffic to their website and bring them more money. If they think that giving influencers things first is better for their business then more power to them. I spend several thousand a year at Ringside and I’m done because of it, especially with everything being very easy to find at retail. Hope it works out for them.

Not ringsides fault but fedex has been a nightmare with my order it sat in on a fedex truck for delivery for about 2 days and when they said it was delivered it wasn’t there when I got home so idk if I’ll ever get it at this rate. Yeah, fedex messes up deliveries and I can understand that when it’s this time of year. But RS doesn’t help the cause when it takes over a week to ship things out when it’s in stock. Because some people bought 10 of them in hopes of flipping them. Then you have collectors like Alex West Copies that need 20 Hogan figures.

Totally agree. Wrestlemania 9 was Hulks most cringe move in his wwf career. And we already have the all red HOF fig that represents the WWF title match at the end. The yellow represents his tag match with Brutus and could have easily been an elite one and done to display by Brutus. WCW Hulk represents WCW mid 90s when they began to be contenders again and the start of Nitro. Would look great next to Dungeon of Doom, the Giant, WCW Macho Man, Flair, etc. It would have 100% been a better choice for UE. While I am stoked for wm1 Hogan, I still don't think it is the end all be all Hogan in yellow look. That was somewhere between Wrestlemania 3 and 7 and may be either a Mega Powers set or a stand alone Hogan. I still think that is yet to come. Good thing with WM1 Hogan is that you can buy multiples and use it as the base for others. Any elite yellow trunks WWF Hogan going forward can easily be converted to ultimate with head and accessory swaps as long as they keep the skin tone consistent with every new release. Don’t give them anymore ideas to pre-order 10 Hogan figures only for Mattel to release those Hogan figures anyway.

Amazon should have definitely limited these to one or two at most per customer, so many people grabbed 3+ just to flip them, they’re literally all over the secondary market right now for 2x the price. Annoying af, but that’s collecting in 2021 Lol exactly, I can’t get one Hardy in apparently before Aug 2022, yet there’s dozens of people on here bragging about how their 3 Hardys and 3 Hogans just shipped. Don’t you know you have to be a complete loser and just refresh all day to even get these. If you have a real job or a social life you didn’t stand a chance in grabbing these in the first run.

im just still boggled they had such a limited run on these Hogans. just insane somehow these were under produced... It’s because of all the Hogan dick riders that think they need 6 of them for customs and to sell. Ridiculous.

Amazon needs to start limiting these to one per person so the hype beasts can stop buying 3-10 of them to try to flip.

My question is what resolution could Mattel offer and it be satisfactory? Shipping everyone new arms like Hasbro did Power Ranger helmets? Partial refunds? Full refunds? Please they won’t offer any of the above. You will be told they couldn’t paint that part due to manufacturer issues and still continue to pre-order and like it. Mattel’s response will be that of Willy Wonka. You lose. Good day sir!

Really only the Major WF Pod. The other Youtubers bought followers which is why none of them have a YouTube plaque. Lots of instagram self proclaimed influencers like Alex bought followers too. It’s not hard to do. I’m not knocking them because it obviously worked to get a code but it shows just how small this community really is. No one has a legitimate following minus the Major Bros. MyDamnToys kinda seems suspicious also. I don't really watch any of his videos other than his fixup videos, but he has like 300K subs and most of his videos get less than 10K views. Definitely seems sus. If he was legit he would have or show his YouTube plague but he won’t because he doesn’t have one. You only get one after 100,000 legit followers.

This proves that no influencer is big enough in this community to influencer the market like that. Even all together they can’t get the job done. It wasn’t until Mattel added Savage that it even had some movement. People will buy what they want to buy. How many influencers are there? I can only think of MyDamnToys, and the Major Bros. How many influencers are there? I can only think of MyDamnToys, and the Major Bros. I think it says less about the impact of "influencers" and more about the size and relative affluence of the wrestling figure community. I haven't totally given up hope, but I think this project illustrates some very clear differences between WWE and Star Wars/Marvel collectors. That’s what I mean this community is way too small that even “influencers” aren’t really influencing a thing. MDT doesn’t really have 240,000 legitimate followers. If he did his videos would get more than 5-10k and he would have a YouTube plague.

They could work from home via the computer. Literally able to check all day and be paid for it. I work from home and use a computer. The funny thing is you actually have to work. Even if you work from home you still have to do work and can't just stare at a screen refreshing all day. These things come up with no advance warning and people are somehow on them and then selling on eBay immediately. Exactly I work from home as well and you actually do have to work. Moreover I have double monitors just for work. No way I can be on Amazon or Target refreshing all day.

It’s always the same couple of people on social media that post they are up. There is no way any of them have any kind of job. How are you always that glued to your phone. Geez. It’s the same 3-5 people every single time. I won’t say their names and embarrass them but if you have social media you can probably guess. Haha, funny you mention that because I thought the same thing, like how are you on and know exactly when they go up? I don’t even see the point in everybody running to Twitter announcing the news anyway, that’s another reason they get gone so fast, people trying everything possible to gain a few followers. It’s just mind blowing to me that the same people knew when it was up every single time. All three times they went up. It’s not just Amazon either it’s Target as well which leads me to believe there is no way they have job or a relationship because you can’t possibly be on every time these things go up. It’s not like there is a way to set up notifications so it’s no excuse.

A freaking Jindal Mahal that came with a ring runs $60-$75 loose and people think there isn't going to be a market for a MOC Ultimate Diesel lol ok People asking a certain price for a figure and that figure actually selling is a complete difference. Unfortunately most collectors don’t understand that and think just because some clown lists a figure on eBay for $600 that’s what they can get for it.

I mean taking the money upfront rather than when the campaign ends. What did you think I meant? Obviously I know crowd funding means it isn’t put into production until they get enough numbers. That is very, very obvious. Right, but who doesn’t take the money up front. All of the crowdfunding campaigns I’ve ever seen have done it this exact way. What other way is there. You pay them with a pinky swear? A hand written IOU? Hasbro doesn’t take the money up front.

Can Mattel have embarrassed themselves any worse with this Comic Con?
The crowd funding project has a ridiculously low amount of orders.
The legends pre-order didn’t go as planned, as usual. I think it’s more embarrassing that during the panel they always say “IT’S UP FOR PRE-ODER RIGHT NOW” when it never is.
Most collectors didn’t even come close to getting the Amazon Exclusive Ultimate Edition figures because they went up prematurely twice now.
Mattel Creations didn’t even come close to meeting the demand with their SDCC Exclusive and it doesn’t ship until January. With G.I. Joe at an all time high in popularity, they left a lot of money on the table.
Almost no one wants to pay $40 an Elite Ciampa with the wrong torso.
They had to make a post about all the above issues for damage control purposes. Let’s be honest this has also proven that no influencer can actually influence people to buy much of anything in this community. Just because people watch someone on YouTube or follow them on social media doesn’t mean it will drive up sales. You can have the Major guys push the Ultimate Arena but no one is buying it, literally.
