At the 1998 Royal Rumble in the Casket Match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship. The Undertaker countered a move from Shawn Michaels with Taker backdropping Michaels into the wooden casket causing Michaels to have a temporary back injury and spent 4 years in retirement. Michaels would not wrestle at many PPVs and Monday Night RAWs to keep up his WrestleMania 14 storyline with Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship with Austin winning the WWF Title in Shawn's WWF first final run. But also after the match, Mike Tyson. The Special Guest Enforcer knocked out Michaels and then when Michaels left, Triple H was given power to D-Generation X. Michaels returned at the Summer of 1998 to become a color commentator and then would become the Commissioner of the WWF in 1998 appointed by Vince McMahon, a role he held at the end of 1998 and by all of 1999 until the Spring of 2000 with Michaels facing his personal problems until being let go from the company in 2001 until finding religion and wrestling again with the WWE in 2002 until finally retiring one more time in 2010 but not before coming out of retirement one more time in 2018 to team up with his friend Triple H to take on Undertaker and Kane at Crown Jewel in one of the worst matches ever.
But what if Michaels did not take the backdrop fall by The Undertaker and still continue to wrestle more matches before WrestleMania 14 and all the way through his wrestling career in 2010 and getting off drugs & addiction early before 2001. What if Michaels had continued to perform and win World Titles and help the young talent over in the Attitude Era, The Ruthless Aggression Era and the New Era before finally retiring in 2010.

WWE RAW - Hallam FM Arena - Sheffield, England - November 21, 2005 Jerry Lawler and Joey Styles are your hosts for Monday Night RAW. They talk about SMACKDOWN and Teddy Long being allowed in the building tonight.
Team RAW and Eric Bischoff make their way to the ring to Eric Bischoff's theme song. Bischoff has a smile on his face as he is gloating as he has a microphone in hand.
Bischoff: Now, 2 weeks ago, me, This Man (points to Chris Masters) put the masterlock to Theodore Long, almost snapped his full body like a twig. While these two (points to Kane & Big Show) came to the ring and destroyed The Animal Batista, and for that. Batista is no longer the World Heavyweight Champion and not only that, Batista will not join Team SMACKDOWN and is not going to be a part of the Survivor Series. Because? A clip is shown of Last Friday Night's SMACKDOWN with Eddie Guerrero helping Batista up in their Triple Threat Match after the attack by Randy and Cowboy Bob Orton only to betray Batista and win the World Heavyweight Championship. Bischoff: So that has now put the first cracks of Team SMACKDOWN. Batista is gone thanks to his supposed buddy Eddie Guerrero, a man who lies, cheats and steals his way to the top, And now will become the Team Leader of SMACKDOWN. Eddie, you may have lied and cheated your way to the World Heavyweight Championship, but what makes you think you can lie, cheat and steal against Team RAW at Survivor Series?, against the most talented dangerous individuals ever?. How are you going to escape the Masterlock?. How are you going to escape the Onslaught of Kane and Big Show?. How are you going to escape Carlito's apple?. And how are you going to feel when that Sweet Chin Music hits you hard in the chin?. The fans cheer for the Sweet Chin Music being mentioned that "HBK" Chants ring out in the London Arena. Bischoff hands Michaels the mic. Shawn: Eddie Guerrero, for a long time you and I have battled our demons outside of the ring, but I have never had the pleasure of kicking your teeth so far down your throat, you see Eddie before you lied, cheated and stole your way to the top. I was the one that originated the lying, cheating and stealing. Now granted, You and I have never shared a ring together, but Eddie. I will make sure that you will be the first man on Team SMACKDOWN to get eliminated. Shawn gives the mic to Big Show. Show: 2 weeks ago me and Kane invaded SMACKDOWN and took out not only Batista, but the entire SMACKDOWN Crew. Now I used to be on SMACKDOWN, I won the WWE Championship in 2002 and led the face of SMACKDOWN, I even took the United States Championship in 2004. But where did that get me on there?. I was made fun of over on SMACKDOWN. I had Eddie Guerrero spray me with Sewage, I was even shot in the back with a tranquilizer dart on SMACKDOWN and was humiliated when my face was shaved and used like a trophy. They said to me, Ohhh Show. You're the laughing stock of SMACKDOWN. The Laughing stock of what?. I was the best thing that ever happened to SMACKDOWN. But then when the Draft rolled around, The Big Show came straight to RAW and ever since then, me and Kane have dominated the entire RAW Roster. Now, Carlito, Masters. Michaels, we may not like each other, but the one thing we agree on is that Team SMACKDOWN will regret the day they messed with Team RAW. Carlito is the next to take the mic. Carlito: You see the thing is Carlito was also a laughing stock on SMACKDOWN. Teddy Long forced me to do things like shovel the snow, dress up as Elvis. He was corrupt to me. And now Carlito is no longer used anymore because he is now a part of Team RAW. And as for you, Rey Mysterio. You may be the little underdog on SMACKDOWN. But you cannot survive the Survivor Series, and When we get in the ring together, I will eliminate you and that will be cool.
Carlito turns the mic over to the Masterpiece Chris Masters.
Masters: JBL. I Heard your words last Friday Night on SMACKDOWN. You called me an orangutan, but look at this orangutan, this orangutan has a whole body put together, I am the future of Monday Night RAW. Sure, last year JBL. You had the longest reign of the WWE Championship on SMACKDOWN, that was because SMACKDOWN was in the toilet last year because of you and it still is. You also challenged me to a match tonight, And JBL. I'm right here, let's get it started right now if you guys grow a set of balls and show up. Bischoff picks up the mic again. Bischoff: Team SMACKDOWN and Teddy Long, where are you. We are waiting for you to get out here right here and now. "Mack Militant" plays as SMACKDOWN General Manager Theodore Long shows up with JBL, Christian, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley and new World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero.
Long: Let me holla at you Sheffield, England. The fans give a "Holla, Holla" for Long as he speaks again. Long: Eric Bischoff, You guys didn't think we would show up, well we're here playa, not only we're here but somebody will be here too and I think you and I know who it is, Because tonight, Vince McMahon is going to be here as well and he's going to talk to us playa, you feel me?. Bischoff: Yea I feel you playa. And I think he's going to come out here tonight and announce that after Survivor Series, that I will be the best general manager of RAW, I mean I outlasted Stephanie McMahon, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Paul Heyman and I can damn sure outlast you, playa. Because when you and I get in the ring at Survivor Series, I'm going to kick you so hard in the face that your kids won't be able to recognize you.
Long: Yea, you may have outlasted every GM and every Co-GM. But for over a year, I have provided great matches here on SMACKDOWN playa, I have provided the greatest talent in the world from Batista, (Eddie rolls his eyes at Long when Long mentions Batista). Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, JBL, Chris Benoit, Christian, Randy Orton and The Undertaker. (Fans pop for Undertaker's name when Long mentions Undertaker's name as well). Bischoff: Yea, well for three years of Monday Night RAW. I gave RAW the benefit of must watch TV every night just like I did with WCW Nitro. And you look at my history of Monday Night RAW. I awarded Triple H the World Heavyweight Championship (fans boo at the comment). I have given the fans HLA (Fans pop for the comment, Bischoff's comment riles the fans up as they chant "HLA"., Hell I've even given everybody RAW Roulette. Something that you could never do on SMACKDOWN, a SMACKDOWN Roulette. Long: Well Playa, I will hand it to you, you have done a good job with RAW. I will not deny that, but the reason why you're General Manager of Monday Night RAW is because you don't have WCW anymore. Your WCW buddies would never invade SMACKDOWN like Team RAW did, playa. And when you talked about WCW Nitro, the only reason that WCW Nitro didn't last playa is because that people were tired of WCW and wanting to tune in to a better show called the WWE. Bischoff: Enough!. At Survivor Series, I'm going to prove to you that RAW is still superior than SMACKDOWN and speaking of superior, Eddie Guerrero. You turned your back on Batista and also the fans, but tonight. One of my RAW Superstars wanna fight you for that World Heavyweight Championship. Teddy. You don't have a say so in it. So Eddie. You better not be thinking of lying, cheating and stealing like you did last Friday against Batista because looking at you Eddie, now that you turned on Batista. I don't think you can be trusted. I don't think Team SMACKDOWN can trust you as far as they can throw you. Because they are obsessed with you becoming World Heavyweight Champion. Eddie if we had you on Monday Night RAW!. You wouldn't listen to Batista nor Theodore Long. You would listen to Eric Bischoff. You know how I would have both the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship both on my Brand. (Eddie looks at Eric with a confusing look on his face) Eddie snatches the mic from Long with an angered look as the fans start to boo him for his cowardice of what he did to Batista last Friday Night on SMACKDOWN.
Eddie: The only reason I turned on Batista was because I was jealous of Batista being the #1 guy on SMACKDOWN, Last Year. Bischoff while your buddy Triple H was handed the #1 spot on RAW. I was the #1 guy on SMACKDOWN. (JBL rolls his eyes as he mouths something to Eddie). You weren't the #1 guy JBL. I was, But my point is, Batista is not the face of SMACKDOWN. I am. I may be a lot of things, but there's one thing I will never be is a traitor to you, Eric. And you want me to defend the World Heavyweight Title here tonight on RAW, Essa?. After I won it four days ago, who's got the cojones to face me homes?. Is it going to be you Carlito with that apple cause you know where i'd stick that apple. Big Show or Kane?. I may not be as big as you guys, but I can beat you Kane, because you can't stop my fire just like I did with your partner Big Show over here. Chris Masters?. I know you're not worthy Essa. Shawn takes the mic from Bischoff. Shawn: Eddie, you and I are going to face off for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight, I may not have to wait til Survivor Series to kick your teeth down your throat, I wanna do it tonight. Long: Well playa, Eric Bischoff. If my World Heavyweight Champion wants to face your #1 RAW Guy, It will happen tonight. Tonight, it's going to be RAW's Shawn Michaels taking on Eddie Guerrero for the World Heavyweight Championship playa in a Lumberjack Match, we will have Team RAW and Team SMACKDOWN surround the ring because all of my SMACKDOWN guys are also here too. (SMACKDOWN's music plays as the rest of Team SMACKDOWN like MNM, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Ken Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton, The Mexicools, The F.B.I., LOD 2005 and a host of others make their way out on the stage with Long and the Survivor Series Team).
Bischoff: Okay, I'll deal with that. I will have the entire RAW Roster as well, but JBL. You said you wanted Chris Masters, well right here and right now. You're going to face him one on one and seeing as Masters is not in his ring gear and in his street clothes, why not you two face off in a Sheffield Street Fight Match. And you're going to have that match right now.
JBL and Masters both smile at each other as RAW takes a commercial break. (break) Match 1: Sheffield Street Fight Match JBL vs Chris Masters This should be an interesting Street Fight between these two, before the bell rings. JBL takes Masters down by throwing haymakers at him and the two are going right at it here in Sheffield. Both men can use anything they can get their hands on. Masters gets the upper hand and takes off his long sleeved shirt by choking JBL with it. JBL is able to fight back and turn the tables by taking off his tie and also taking off his long sleeved shirt and both these men are not in their wrestling gear, but they are in street clothes. JBL throws Masters over the top rope to the floor. Masters is able to battle back by using a cookie sheet to hit the former WWE Champion in the face with it. Masters now takes the upper hand and tosses JBL into the steel steps. This is going to be an ugly match. Masters rips off his white tanktop and begins to choke JBL with it. Masters continues to take the momentum over JBL and toss JBL back in the ring where he uses a kendo stick to his advantage and goes for a shot but JBL kicks Masters right in the face and begins to fight back. Masters eventually throws a punch at JBL and runs off the ropes but gets caught by JBL and JBL nails the Fall Away Slam on Masters. JBL then gets out of the ring and grabs a trashcan and JBL hits Masters in the face with it as he goes for the cover but Masters kicks out at 2. JBL whips Masters into the ropes but Masters reverses it and hits a powerslam and uses the kendo stick again and hits JBL in the back with it several times but JBL kicks out again at 2. Masters then grabs a steel chair and tries to hit JBL in the face with it but JBL counters it and goes for a sleeper hold but Masters reverses the sleeper hold and he's got the Masterlock locked in on the former WWE Champion. JBL gets out of the masterlock and hits a back suplex on Masters. JBL goes for the cover again but Masters kicks out at 2. JBL rolls out of the ring and picks up a table. JBL sets it up and it looks like he may powerbomb or piledrive Masters through the table. But wait a minute here comes Carlito. Carlito gets in the ring to go after JBL. JBL however fights back against Carlito and Chris Masters but as JBL signals for the clothesline from hell on Carlito. Carlito and Masters counter it and surprise the former WWE Champion by backdropping him through the table. Carlito and Masters now have the upper hand on JBL. But here comes Christian. Christian begins to go after Carlito and Masters. But Carlito and Masters are too much to handle for Christian. JBL however gets to his feet and hits Carlito with a big boot and Masters goes for the Masterlock on JBL but Christian stops him from doing so. Christian punches away at Masters but Masters grabs Christian and goes for the Masterlock but JBL runs off the ropes and hits Masters with the clothesline from hell. JBL pins Masters and picks up the victory with help from his Team SMACKDOWN Protege Christian although they wrestled last Friday Night on SMACKDOWN. But will these two get along at the Survivor Series?. Winner: JBL Eric Bischoff is in his office with Trish Stratus discussing something. Eric: So Trish. As much as I hate Theodore Long and as much as I wanna stomp his guts in at Survivor Series, Tonight. Me and Him will be in the ring with Vince McMahon, But I know there are SMACKDOWN women here tonight as we are ready for Survivor Series, so me and Teddy Long decided that since there are SMACKDOWN women here, and that we have every RAW woman here. Tonight, we are going to determine a Battle Royal to see who will face you for the Women's Championship at Survivor Series. Trish: I like the idea of that, because whether it's RAW and SMACKDOWN. They are going to get the ultimate 100% Stratusfaction guaranteed. Trish leaves, and just as Bischoff settles in. Kurt Angle comes in with Daivari and talks with Bischoff. Angle: Eric, We need to discuss what's going to happen at Survivor Series, what i'm going to do to John Cena. I don't care what SMACKDOWN does tonight, I don't care what Vince McMahon says. Tonight, I want action. I want to show John Cena why I am going to kick his ass at Survivor Series, I don't care who I face off against tonight. You See, John Cena is afraid of the fact that he can't beat me. He showed that at Unforgiven when he got himself Disqualified and at Taboo Tuesday, when he pinned Shawn Michaels and not me. I don't think Cena can beat me?.
Eric: Kurt, you're the reason why I picked you to become the #1 Contender, Because you are truly an Olympic Gold Medalist, a Wrestling Machine. A 4-Time WWE Champion.
Angle: But either way at Survivor Series although I'm going to take the WWE Championship. I just wanna know that Edge may have had your back when you had him, Kane, Big Show and Chris Masters take out the entire SMACKDOWN roster, and although that was genius of his part. But if he even thinks of cashing in his Money in The Bank Briefcase after I'm done breaking John Cena's ankle like a twig and making him tap out. I will make Edge tap out.
From behind, Edge and Lita sneak up from behind Angle and Daivari.
Edge: Did you say you would make me tap out. Kurt?. See if memory serves me correct, Do you remember Judgment Day 2002 when I beat you and I shaved your pathetic short hair and humbled and humilated you infront of the fans. Well this time, Kurt. If you do somehow become the WWE Champion and I somehow cash in on either Angle or Cena. I plan on humilating not only you, not only John Cena, but the fans as well. Because you see, It may not be tonight that I cash in, But it possibly may happen at Survivor Series.
Angle: Ohhh you think so?.
Edge: Ohhh I know so.
Angle: Well Edge, if you do cash in against me. You're going to be the first man to fail just like you can't seem to do to Lita every night when you please her because if Lita dated a real man like me, I would please her every night.
Daivari: (Speaking Arabic at Edge and Lita)
Lita slaps Daivari square in the face.
Edge: I suggest you tell your little Arab boy to shut up. Ohhh and Kurt, by the way. Good luck tonight in your match whoever you're facing.
Edge & Lita leave with a seethed and pissed off Kurt Angle lurking behind with Kurt trying to get his hands on Edge with Bischoff holding him back.
Bischoff: Kurt, enough. Go and Get Ready for your match because it's next.
Angle: Let me make something clear Bischoff, if Edge thinks he can cash in on me at Survivor Series, I want Edge and John Cena both to see first hand what i'm going to do to my opponent, because it's going to be the both of them at Survivor Series. Backstage, Kane and Big Show are talking, it looks like Big Show and Kane are talking about what they want to do tonight to Bobby Lashley. We've been informed that Lashley will go one on one with The 500 pound Big Show later tonight in another interpromotional match. (break) Match 2: Tajiri vs Kurt Angle w/Daivari Well it looks like Tajiri wants to volunteer to face the former WWE Champion Kurt Angle and this is a highly scientific match between these two, Angle dominates the match but Tajiri fights back and tries to knock off Angle but Angle hits the Angle Slam and follows it up with the Anklelock to get the victory. And what a victory for Kurt Angle sending a message at Survivor Series to face John Cena for the WWE Championship.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the Match. Angle picks up a mic and begins to speak.
Angle: Before I talk about the Survivor Series, I'm sure that people have been asking why I aligned myself with Daivari. Hold on, To Be Honest. Daivari and I, we ain't alike because we've been abused by you the people. Daivari is a proud american just as I am, who has been abused unjustly by you people just because he is an Arab American. Let me get this straight, you people cheer for a foulmouth, hooligan rap star like John Cena?. But you unjustly deny this man right here everything he stands for, which he is an American. You people deny his right as a proud american?. As a proud American?. Which he is, which makes me sick to my stomach. But I will change all that because thanks to Mr. Bischoff, you are looking at my full-time referee for every single one of my matches. My Own Personal Referee, including the match at Survivor Series for the WWE Championship against John Cena. And, you people will show us the respect we deserve when I become the WWE Champion, and it's not going to be John Cena that will stop me and not Edge will stop me. Cause you are looking at a worldwide hero and John Cena and Edge, they ain't nothing. They're nothing, Because John Cena knows deep down in his heart he cannot beat me, in his first match on June 27, 2002, I beat him, 1. 2. 3. I made him tap out twice, and at Survivor Series. I will gladly do it again and become a 5-time WWE Champion.
Then Angle and Daivari look up at the titantron and see John Cena's face.
Cena: Kurt, Kurt, Kurt, Stop. Pipe Down, you're acting like a ham sandwich, we've all heard it before. (Cena mocks Angle). I'm Kurt Angle, I don't suck, we know how you feel, What i'm going to do is find out the real story. I'm going to find out what the WWE Superstars think about Kurt Angle, let's go.
Cena walks in to a locker room in where he finds the Women's Locker Room with Candice and Maria as they cover up.
Cena: Ohhh, I didn't see anything. I never saw nothing, I was here to see if you had anything to say to Kurt Angle.
Maria sneaks up behind John's back and says.
Maria: But you're not Kurt Angle, you are John Cena.
Candice: John, I know you think Kurt Angle sucks but do you think I do?. (Candice throws his towel revealing her body)
Then suddenly, A Woman's Voice shows up and it's Victoria.
Victoria: Get out of here John, this is the Women's Locker Room.
Cena gets out of the locker room and is disappointed with himself for not answering the question.
Cena: Now I'm sure everyone is wondering whether the divas suck or not, but Kurt. It's about you, they need answers. Come with me.
Cena goes to a random locker room to find Snitsky and Tomko with Snitsky massaging Tomko's back.
Cena: What are you doing?.
Snitsky: Nothing, There's a kink in Tomko's neck.
Cena: You're a big guy, you love probably getting touched and rubbed, but what you guys do on your own time, it's your business. That's up to you, I'm moving away slow (as Snitsky and Tomko trying to explain to Cena as Cena leaves the Locker Room)
Snitsky: It's not my fault, it's a kink.
Cena: It's okay, it's okay. I've got this, I'm going to find out what they think of Kurt Angle. (Cena goes to another door and opens it up to reveal SMACKDOWN's Boogeyman)
Boogeyman: London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, My Fair Lady (he laughs), I'm the Boogeyman and I'm coming to get you. (Cena begins to shut the door, but Boogeyman bangs his clock with his head and Cena grossly shuts the door).
Cena: Maybe I got the wrong idea, but there are 12,000 screaming WWE fans out there who have a voice. And I'm going to find it, damn it.
Cena opens a door and he's in the stands.
Cena: What do you think of Kurt Angle?
Fan 1: He sucks
Cena: What do you think of Kurt Angle?
Fan 2: He Sucks
Cena repeats the same thing as fans repeat the same thing as well.
Kurt responds to Cena.
Kurt: Shut Your Mouth Cena, Shut It. Shut your mouths (to all the fans as they chant "You Suck" at Kurt).
Cena: Kurt, we have come to the conclusion to all the fans, the WWE Superstars and to everyone in Sheffield that you still suck.
Cena gets in the ring to go after Angle and Daivari with Cena gaining the momentum over both of them making them retreat, Cena takes off his shirt and Angle wants to get back in the ring but Daivari tells him to save it for Survivor Series.
Outside of Sheffield, a Limousine is pulling up and it stops to reveal Vince McMahon in there. The Boss is here and it looks like he's walking to the ring with a purpose.
(break)
"No Chance" plays as Mr. McMahon makes his way down to the ring to a loud ovation, we haven't seen Vince McMahon last month when he fired Jim Ross, but he's here tonight to address what is at stake between both general managers at Survivor Series. McMahon picks up a mic.
McMahon: Thank you Sheffield for that big response, And I thank each and every one of you 12,000 fans for being here on hand tonight, for continuing this European Tour that we started off last week. And we wanna thank everyone for this huge success, even to our friends in the United States of America. Now tonight, I'm here to address what is on the line at Survivor Series. I know both brands from RAW and SMACKDOWN are here tonight. And I know this Friday Night, RAW will be here as well. I have also allowed the RAW Brand to show up on Friday Night SMACKDOWN too. But I wanna address the General Managers as well. See, last Friday Night. I made a phone call to Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long saying that I wanted to see them in the ring tonight, and I am not going to waste any time, so first off. I would like to bring out the RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.
"I'm Back" plays as Eric Bischoff makes his way to the ring as he's looking nervous seeing the Boss in the ring.
Bischoff: Mr. McMahon, thank you for being here tonight. I know what's on the line at Survivor Series, I know that you created Monday Night RAW in 1993, I created WCW Nitro in 1995. Trust me, I know what Monday Nights are all about. I know how to succeed against Teddy Long, I know I got a talented team in Shawn Michaels, Carlito, Chris Masters, Kane and The Big Show. They are my 5 guys that I'm depending on and not only that, we're going to beat Team SMACKDOWN and make RAW as successful as it is.
McMahon: Eric, Thank you for your remarks, now let me bring out the SMACKDOWN General Manager, Teddy Long.
"Mack Militant" hits in the arena as Teddy Long makes his way out to the ring and shakes Vince McMahon's hand.
Long: Mr. McMahon, what Mr. Bischoff has told you is a damn lie, He's trying to kiss your ass in here playa, Because, you see when you hired him three years ago, He has not done a good job on Monday Night RAW. Now everybody knows that his RAW Roulette and The HLA Stuff are all fine and dandy playa. But he's abused his power time and time again. You see while Eric's been abusing his power, looking at my record as SMACKDOWN General Manager. Everyone knows that your boy's done one hell of a job on SMACKDOWN and ever since i've become the General Manager. I have personally put SMACKDOWN back on the map!.
Bischoff: You haven't put anything on the map, Theodore. And let me tell you something, the day you decided to come to RAW Homecoming, the day you wanted to embarrass me and Monday Night RAW was the day you signed your own death warrant, I've been waiting to say this to your face, I hate your guts. Teddy, I hate the fact that you stole Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, Christian and Batista away from me. I hate the fact that you took the World Heavyweight Championship from me. Because we could've found out who the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion truly was. I could've had both championships on my show on RAW. But that ego of yours took that away from me.
Long: The reason why Benoit, Orton, Christian and Batista are not on your group anymore is because they were underwasted by you, Eric. And that is why they came over to SMACKDOWN to make the brand greater, now Eric. I'll admit that you took John Cena, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Big Show to RAW, Because if they were still on SMACKDOWN. They would've beaten RAW if we had all the star talent still here, if we had the WWE Championship on SMACKDOWN and the World Heavyweight Title, RAW would've been made a fool out of if they didn't have a top title, believe that playa?.
Bischoff: Would SMACKDOWN be made a fool out of if they didn't have the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship, Playa?. You damn right they would, Now if SMACKDOWN did have the WWE and the World Heavyweight Championship on the same brand, no. We would've not made a fool out of. It would've been the only nail in your coffin, Teddy. At RAW Homecoming, you fired the first shot when you invaded the show that this man (points to Vince) built for the past 12 years, and that's why I turned out the lights in that 6-Man Tag Team Match because no one wanted to see a second rated B Show on a popular A Show. You get it. Teddy?. You're a B-Plus Playa, Infact. SMACKDOWN is a B-Plus Show. Undertaker, Randy Orton, Eddie Guerrero, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Christian, JBL, Chris Benoit and all the others that you have on your show are all B Plus Players.
The fans boo at the remark of what Bischoff said.
Bischoff: Now granted at Taboo Tuesday, you did get your revenge on us. But how did it feel Teddy, how did it feel 3 nights after Taboo Tuesday, when we invaded your home and left you humiliated and embarrassed and broken. That's what you're going to be Teddy at Survivor Series, Broken and Humiliated.
Vince then picks up the mic again
Vince: Well I guess to wrap things up, in any event. This Sunday, I wish both of you the best of luck because you're going to need it because in these 2 series of matches, Either SMACKDOWN or RAW win, then they are safe from their jobs, but should Team RAW or Team SMACKDOWN disappoint and humiliate theirselves, then one of them will be facing extreme and severe consequences. That means, Mr. Long or Mr. Bischoff, I may personally come to RAW or SMACKDOWN the night after Survivor Series and simply say the words that I don't wanna say, so Bischoff, Long. At Survivor Series, I'm going to be watching very closely. And If one of you fail, If one of my General Managers fail. Then I fail for making a Business Investment, and Vincent Kennedy McMahon never fails, so whoever doesn't walk out of Survivor Series a Winner. I will personally come to RAW or SMACKDOWN the night after and say those 2 words (In his infamous Vince Growl), You're Fired!.
Vince leaves the ring as Long and Bischoff begin to look on in fear, both jobs are in jeopardy at Survivor Series, well one job may be in Jeopardy at Survivor Series, but who will it be?.
A promo is shown of The Undertaker's Survivor Series set for six days.
We see Triple H shown in a dark room with a leather jacket and his signature logo T-Shirt holding a sledgehammer in hand.
Triple H: Ric Flair, in 6 nights time. You will be destroyed once and for all, you see Ric, at Taboo Tuesday. I let you get away when you beat me and retained your Intercontinental Championship, but it's not your Intercontinental Championship that I want, it's your career I want, you see three years ago, you came to me and said to me that your career was over, but low and behold, The Game saved you and we formed one of the greatest stables ever in WWE History and that was Evolution, but you see Naitch, when Batista and Randy Orton turned away from us, we were the only two left and when I took time off last summer, there you were hogging the spotlight, the Ric Flair of old. The 16-time World Heavyweight Champion winning the Intercontinental Championship and once again pandering to the fans. Ric, you may have beaten the legends in Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and all of the others, but Ric. You know deep down in your heart, you can't beat me. Sure you used that Steel Cage Stipulation to beat me at Taboo Tuesday, but at Survivor Series. I'm going to put you down just like I put down everyone else. See, Ric. While you were enjoying the fruits of your labor, I put down everyone there is in this business, I took The Rock to Hollywood, I beat Stone Cold Steve Austin, I married my ex father's in law Daughter. I became the 10-time World Heavyweight Champion, And I beat everyone there was right before me, Rock. Austin. Foley. Hogan. Angle. Jericho. Undertaker. Booker T. Randy Orton. Benoit. Kane and all the others that wanted to play the game and failed. You see Ric, there is no more Evolution, Evolution is dead, as a matter of fact. It's already passed me by, I don't need the Kliq. I don't need D-Generation X. I don't even need Evolution, all I need is myself, You see, Your career has just passed you by, and after I'm through with you Ric at Survivor Series, rest assured the King of Kings goes back on his throne.
Match 3: Women's Battle Royal RAW (Torrie Wilson, Victoria, Candice Michelle, Ashley Massaro, Mickie James and Maria) vs SMACKDOWN (Melina, Michelle McCool, Christy Hemme, Jillian Hall and Kristal) Giving that there are 11 divas in the ring, The Battle Royal should be interesting with the winner that could possibly face Trish Stratus at Survivor Series for the Women's Championship. The first elimination starts with Maria being the first eliminated by Victoria. Victoria next eliminates Kristal and Jillian Hall at the same time while they were near the ropes. Victoria is a dominant roll until from out of nowhere Michelle McCool surprises Victoria and eliminates her. Michelle has not been seen in a while got a surprising elimination, Torrie and Candice both eliminate Ashley Massaro at the same time. Melina also eliminates Michelle McCool, leaving the latter down to 5 ladies, Melina, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Mickie James and Christy Hemme, Mickie takes Torrie out of the ring with a dropkick and now it's down to four. 2 from SMACKDOWN and 2 from RAW. The 2 divas battle for a good portion of 2 minutes until Candice eliminates Christy and begins to do her Go daddy Dance until Mickie sneaks up out of nowhere and dumps Candice out and now it's down to Mickie and Melina. one of the two will face Trish at Survivor Series. Mickie begins to have the upper hand on Melina and runs off the ropes but Melina backdrops Mickie but Mickie remains on the apron and tries to fight back by staying alive but Melina slaps her in the face so hard she gets knocked to the floor and Melina has won the match. Melina will face Trish Stratus for the Women's Title at Survivor Series. Melina makes the "I Want the Belt" Motion. Winner: Melina
Backstage, we see Big Show and Kane both walking to the ring, what a colossal matchup we are going to see as RAW's Big Show takes on SMACKDOWN's Bobby Lashley.
Match 4: Interpromotional Match Big Show w/Kane vs Bobby Lashley This should be a colossal matchup, we are going to see the two go at it at Survivor Series in the Interpromotional Elimination Match. Lashley has been undefeated here and this is his first RAW Match, but will his undefeated streak end tonight?. Lashley attempts to lock up with Big Show but Show shoves him down and motions Lashley to come on. Lashley gets in Show's face again but Show shoves him back down. Lashley gets back to his feet and Show tries a right hand but Lashley ducks it and hits hard right hands on The Big Man. Lashley runs off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but it does not make Show go down. Lashley tries it again but Show runs at him full steam ahead with a spear. Show goes for the cover but Lashley is able to kick out at 2. Show then tosses Lashley out of the ring with Show beginning to distract the referee and that allows Kane to go after Lashley. Kane then tosses Lashley into the steel steps. Kane then tosses him back in the ring in where Show continues to dominate but Lashley fights back and surprisingly enough hits a big time powerslam taking the 500-pounder down. Lashley goes to the top rope and hits a diving shoulder tackle knocking the big man down. Lashley then sets up for the Dominator. The commentators think that Lashley can't lift Big Show up. Lashley goes for the dominator but Kane runs in from out of nowhere with a cheap shot to the back. And that's a DQ win for Lashley. Winner by DQ: Bobby Lashley
Kane begins to attack Lashley and whips him into the ropes but Lashley reverses and hits a spinebuster taking down Kane. Show gets to his feet however and headbutts Lashley and the two on one has begun, but wait a minute here comes Rey Mysterio. Mysterio gets in the ring and starts to help Lashley even though there are two big guys. Kane and Show try to get the better of Mysterio but Lashley gets to his feet and clotheslines Show out of the ring while Mysterio sends Kane out of the ring with a dropkick. Then we hear Eric Bischoff's voice.
Bischoff: That's enough, that's enough. Rey, since you wanna fight on RAW here tonight, then right here and now, you will go one on one with one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Kane, and that match is coming up next.
(break)
Match 5: Interpromotional Match Rey Mysterio w/Bobby Lashley vs Kane w/Big Show We are back from the break and this match kicked off right before commercial with Mysterio gaining the upper advantage on Kane but Kane fights back by knocking the masked luchador off his feet with a clothesline. And this may be hard for the master of the 619 as he's dealt with big guys and beaten them, but he's never dealt with a monster like Kane. Kane continues to work over on Mysterio, Mysterio tries to fight back but everytime Mysterio gets an offense in. Kane just brings him down by hitting a tilt-a whirl slam on Mysterio. Kane goes for the cover but Mysterio is able to kick out at 2. Kane heads to the top rope and goes for his diving clothesline on Mysterio but Mysterio counters the diving clothesline into a dropkick taking Kane down. Mysterio heads to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick taking down the 320-pound monster. Kane gets to his feet and Mysterio goes for a move but Kane catches him by the throat and goes for a chokeslam but Mysterio counters it into a DDT knocking down Kane. Mysterio then hits a dropkick on Kane and Kane falls into the ropes and we know what's coming. It's time to dial it up, 619 to Kane. Mysterio then hits the ropes and goes for the West Coast Pop but Kane catches him in mid air and grabs Rey by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat, 1. 2. 3. Kane has won the match. Kane has beaten Mysterio. Winner: Kane
Backstage, Eddie Guerrero is getting ready to walk to the ring before his Lumberjack Match with Shawn Michaels until he notices Edge and Lita and Edge's briefcase in his hand. Edge walks up to Eddie.
Edge: You know Eddie, The only reason you won the World Heavyweight Championship is because 2 weeks ago, I hatched that plan to end your former best friend Batista and make sure Big Show & Kane had their way with him, but last week. You did it to perfection when you won that World Heavyweight Championship, You turned your back on Batista. Batista never saw it coming, but you see Eddie, I need you to look at this (Edge points to his briefcase). Now you're defending the World Heavyweight Title here in our hometurf in Jolly Ol England. Well I see it a perfect opportunity, you see if you're spent and you're lucky to be able to make it get past by Shawn Michaels tonight, well let's just say tonight. I could make sure your reign as World Heavyweight Champion might be a short one. Because I could cash it in here tonight.
Eddie: You really think so Essa?.
Edge: I think so.
Eddie: Well Edge, I didn't need your help to defeat Batista. I didn't need your help to soften Batista, just like I didn't need Team RAW's help to defeat him for that title. I turned my back on Batista because I played him like a fool because he's obsessed with the one thing, and that is he stabbed his friends Triple H and Ric Flair in the back months ago, Essa. And I was afraid he'd do the same to me. But I learned the hard way Orale Le Vato, And now you think you may cash it in on me tonight. Well Edge, good luck with that. Because tonight, I am going to beat Shawn Michaels while you and Lita go out on the town and do what you're probably best known to do Essa. So If I were you, I wouldn't be worried of cashing in my Money in The Bank Briefcase. I'd worry about staying in the back.
Eddie walks away with Edge and Lita seething.
Backstage, Maria still in her wrestling gear interviews Shawn Michaels.
Maria: Please welcome at this time, Shawn Michaels. And Shawn, I was reading your book, your new autobiography called Heartbreak & Triumph (Shawn stops her)
Shawn: You know Maria as much as I appreciate you promoting my new book, now's not a good time, even though it's available in all bookstores, but with that said. We need to talk about tonight, Shawn Michaels vs Eddie Guerrero, the first time ever. And if that isn't interesting enough, RAW and SMACKDOWN are also going to surround the ring as Lumberjacks, You see, I don't like anything Eric Bischoff says or does, but Eddie. What you do on SMACKDOWN is your business, and yes. You are the World Heavyweight Champion, but tonight. You and all of SMACKDOWN is going to find out what it is like to get RAW, and Eddie. Tonight, you are going to feel the Sweet Chin Music Essa.
Match 6: Lumberjack Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Shawn Michaels vs Eddie Guerrero For the first time finally in WWE History we are going to get to see this match, Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Lumberjack Match. Michaels and Guerrero lock up in the ring with Michaels locking in a side headlock on Eddie. Michaels throws Eddie into the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle taking Eddie down. Michaels runs off the ropes but Eddie does a leapfrog and goes for an armdrag but Michaels counters into an armdrag of his own and Eddie charges at him but Michaels hits another leapfrog and Michaels goes to work on the arm of the World Champion. Eddie fights out of it and pokes Shawn in the eyes and hits a hard right hand and whips Shawn into the ropes and hits a back body drop followed up by an armdrag and Eddie continues to go for the arm of Shawn but Shawn battles out of it and hits a hard right hand and Michaels rocks Eddie into the buckle with those hard right hands and Michaels shoves Eddie into the buckle but Eddie kicks him in the face and Eddie runs off the ropes only to receive a clothesline by the Heartbreak Kid. Michaels then picks Eddie up and whips Eddie into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Eddie kicks him again in the face and tries to toss Shawn over the top rope onto the SMACKDOWN Lumberjacks but Shawn as always skins the cat back in and punches Eddie in the face and tosses him over the top rope right onto the RAW Lumberjacks and Eddie knowing he's in higher ground begins to get back in the ring where Shawn greets him and throws a right hand knocking Eddie down. Shawn runs off the ropes and JBL pulls the ropes down and remember this match is No Disqualifactions or Countouts, it's all legal. Shawn then punches JBL, William Regal and Paul Burchill, but MNM start to outnumber him along with the SMACKDOWN superstars, the RAW roster intervene but Eddie tosses Shawn back in the ring avoiding a big fight between RAW and SMACKDOWN. Eddie starts to punch away at Shawn and starts to go for the injured back of Michaels. Eddie grabs Michaels and goes for a backbreaker and connects with it. Eddie goes for the cover but Michaels kicks out at 2. Eddie then rocks Shawn into the buckle and begins to punch away at him and Eddie whips Shawn into the buckle and Shawn does the infamous Flair flop and Eddie dropkicks him to the mat. Eddie goes for the cover but Shawn is able to kick out again at 2. Eddie then picks up Shawn and hits another backbreaker taking Shawn down. Eddie goes for the cover again but Shawn is able to kick out. Eddie picks Shawn up and goes for a right hand but Shawn hits a right hand of his own and Shawn and Eddie start to exchange blows with one another. But Eddie hits a punch to the gut and goes for a suplex but Shawn counters it and rolls Eddie up but Eddie kicks out at 2. Eddie and Shawn both get to their feet and knock each other down with a double clothesline. Who will both get to their feet first?. Shawn and Eddie get to their feet and both men hit hard right hands with one another and Shawn whips Eddie into the ropes but Eddie reverses it and Shawn hits a flying forearm knocking down Eddie followed by his infamous nip-up, But wait here comes Nunzio. Nunzio charges at Shawn only to receive Sweet Chin Music. Vito gets in the ring but Michaels tosses Vito out of the ring, remember this is a No Disqualifaction and No Countout Match, anyone can interefere in this match. Shawn waits for Eddie to get up and hits him with a right hand and whips him into the ropes nailing a high back body drop and Michaels hits a clothesline taking Eddie down and follows it up with an atomic drop and Michaels scoops Eddie up and hits a bodyslam, and Michaels starts to head to the top rope, the fans are ready to see the infamous elbow drop and Michaels hits it, the elbow connects. Michaels then sets up for Sweet Chin Music but Eddie hits a Hurracarana reversing the Sweet Chin Music, what a maneuver by Eddie. Eddie heads to the top rope and hits a cross body but Shawn rolls through and goes for the cover but Eddie is able to kick out at 2. Eddie misses a clothesline but Shawn locks in a sleeper hold only for Eddie to hit a back suplex. Eddie then goes to hit the three amigos and connects with it, and Eddie heads to the top rope and goes for the frog splash but Shawn gets to his feet and hits a right hand on Eddie and Shawn climbs to the top rope with Eddie and Shawn and Eddie are both on the turnbuckle and Shawn hits a superplex off the top rope. Shawn and Eddie are both down again. This is been back and forth between these two men. Shawn and Eddie are both back up to their feet. Shawn punches away at Eddie and whips him into the ropes but Eddie reverses and goes for a back body drop but Shawn grabs Eddie and hits the champion with a piledriver. A Piledriver that HBK used to use when he was a heel back in 1994. Shawn goes for the cover but Eddie kicks out of the piledriver. Shawn picks Eddie up and goes for another piledriver but Eddie hits a low blow on Shawn and it's perfectly legal in this match. Eddie then rolls out of the ring and picks up a Steel Chair, but before he does. Eugene tries to come at Eddie but Eddie hits him with a right hand and Eddie gets the chair holding half of the RAW Superstars at bay and gets in the ring with it. Eddie then starts folding it up. Looks like Eddie wants to do damage to Shawn like he did the same thing to Batista when Eddie suplexed him on the steel steps. Eddie grabs Shawn and attempts a suplex but Shawn counters and suplexes Eddie on the chair and Eddie's back has gotta be screaming in pain. Shawn waits for Eddie to get up and he's one kick away to win the World Heavyweight Championship. But wait there's Randy Orton from out of nowhere hitting the RKO on Michaels and here comes Kane and Big Show. Kane and Big Show begin to attack Orton, and look at this. SMACKDOWN and RAW have swarmed the ring they're fighting on the outside. All hell has broken loose. Kane and Show toss out several of the SMACKDOWN Superstars while Michaels gets out of the ring. Kane and Big Show pick Eddie up and hit a double chokeslam on Eddie, Eddie goes down. We could have a new World Heavyweight Champion. But wait here comes Edge. Edge has got the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Edge begins to tell the referee to cash it in, but as he does. Christian, Edge's former partner comes from behind to attack Edge. Christian and Edge are exchanging blows with Christian gaining the upper hand and sending Edge out of the ring with a clothesline. All hell is continuing to break loose, RAW and SMACKDOWN are fighting in the entryway on the outside while Shawn and Eddie are both in the ring. Both men get to their feet and what a match that has been. Eddie and Shawn get to their feet and Shawn and Eddie exchange blows again. Eddie runs off the ropes only to receive a Sweet Chin Music. And Shawn goes down again that he's fatigued. JBL gets back in the ring with the World Heavyweight Title and Shawn slowly gets to his feet and JBL tries to hit Shawn with the belt but Shawn kicks him in the gut and grabs the World Title and nails JBL in the face with it. Eddie then gets to his feet and hits Shawn in the head with a steel chair. Eddie then heads to the top rope again and nails the frog splash on Shawn. The ref comes to and Eddie pins Shawn to get the win and retain the World Heavyweight Championship, what a match. But not without controversy. Eddie is still the World Heavyweight Champion in his first title defense. Eddie gets out of the ring with Team SMACKDOWN congratulating Eddie on his win while Team RAW is checking up on Shawn. But the question remains who will survive at Survivor Series?. Team RAW stares down Team SMACKDOWN as RAW goes off the air. Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion: Eddie Guerrero

WWE SMACKDOWN - Minneapolis, MN - November 18, 2005
Clips are shown of Last Week's Invasion with The RAW Conspirators Edge, Lita, Eric Bischoff, Chris Masters, Kane and Big Show setting up an attack on the World Heavyweight Champion Batista and also Theodore Long and the entire SMACKDOWN Superstars. Michael Cole and Tazz are your hosts tonight as they talk about the World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match between Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton and Batista and threats of a RAW Invasion tonight.
"Holla Holla" plays as Theodore Long makes his way to the ring and The SMACKDOWN General Manager means all business tonight cause of what happened last week. Long picks up a microphone and addresses what happened "Last Week, Eric Bischoff and a couple of his RAW Henchmen came out and ruined what would be Batista's execution on Edge, See. Big Show, Kane, Chris Masters, Lita and Eric Bischoff all orchestrated a plan in which would destroy Friday Night SMACKDOWN. When I Was in the parking lot with Eric Bischoff. Chris Masters came in and put me in the masterlock, But if it wasn't for Rey Mysterio, JBL. Matt Hardy and Bobby Lashley, I would have been in a neckbrace, I'll tell you that playa, but at Survivor Series, Team RAW are going to pay the ultimate price, because we have 5 of the best of SMACKDOWN. We have the World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio and John Bradshaw Layfield, at the Survivor Series. Team SMACKDOWN will show Team RAW that we mean business, and Eric Bischoff. At the Survivor Series, When we fight one on one, you're going to find out why I am the general manager of SMACKDOWN and that the RAW General Manager like yourself is nothing more but an ass". Long goes on saying "Now onto tonight, I have hired extra security to make sure Team RAW will not appear, But here's a message to Eric Bischoff and Team RAW. We will show up in London and best believe we are going to show up for a fight, but moving on, Tonight. We are going to have a World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match, and tonight. It will be Batista defending the World Heavyweight Title against Eddie Guerrero and Randy Orton, Now last week, Batista suffered that brutal attack, he suffered a muscle tear, but he has agreed tonight to put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Randy Orton and Eddie Guerrero". "Burn In My Light" plays in the arena as Randy Orton comes out with Cowboy Bob Orton who do not look thrilled, they may not be thrilled with Eddie Guerrero getting another title opportunity as well. Orton has a mic of his own as he speaks "Now Teddy, I understand that you don't want Team RAW to interefere tonight, I'm not mad at you for that". But if anyone should be on the Survivor Series Team, it should be the man who survived the Survivor Series last year and the last year before, that man should be me, Randy Orton, The Legend Killer, at Summerslam and at No Mercy, I killed the legend of The Undertaker. The Undertaker is now gone because of me, at No Mercy. When I set that casket on fire, he disappeared, he has not shown his face on SMACKDOWN and at Survivor Series in where he is supposed to celebrate 15 years of a decade of destruction, will probably not show up because he's too afraid to show his face. And the only thing i'm upset about is the fact that I beat Eddie Guerrero five weeks ago in that very ring, and yet. He's in the match too?. I mean Batista and Eddie, they are by each other's side all of the time. And Batista is too blind that Eddie Guerrero might stab him in the back soon enough, but the thing is it's not going to matter, what matters to me. Is Tonight, I will recapture what I rightfully lost 14 months ago at Unforgiven and it's been eating me alive, I want it back. The World Heavyweight Championship is coming back home to the Legend Killer, So I don't care if Batista's injured. I don't care if Eddie's in the match. All I care about is winning the World Heavyweight Championship. "Viva La Raza" then plays in the arena as Eddie Guerrero shows up without the low rider he has been using in the past three weeks. Eddie has a mic of his own. "Orale Le Randy Orton, You should know that five weeks ago. I was the rightful #1 Contender and I beat you. The only reason why you have the World Title Match tonight is because you set a man on fire essa?". "You set one of the greatest legends of all time on fire and now you are rewarded for a World Heavyweight Championship?". You see Randy, I may be a man of many things, Yes, I Lie, I Cheat and I Steal. But I would never stoop so low Essa to destroy a casket and set it on fire. "It's What You Did Randy". "And as far as me, you and Batista go tonight, me and Batista are friends. But in the end, it's every man for himself. Me and Batista are a package deal homes. So whoever walks out the World Heavyweight Champion will trust the other in the end, But Randy, let's get something straight. It's not going to be you tonight". It's going to be either me or Batista". But Randy, instead of whining and complaining because it's what you do best. Why don't you look on what's happening right now, Team RAW came in last week and not only attacked the General Manager, but they attacked Batista too. Randy says "Yeah, and Where Were You?, you didn't stick up for a man who's supposed to be your friend". You never stood up for Batista, just like you did with Rey Mysterio last year. You never stuck up for him either because you turned your back on him and now Eddie, you wanna say how you've reverted back to the fans. You brought back the Low Rider and that old theme song says that you lie, cheat and steal. Well Eddie, I see the real you. I know that you and Batista are going to turn on each other and when it happens, you will turn on him because Eddie what have you done in this friendship to Batista?. "Nothing" "Because just like when he did with me, Ric and Hunter, He turned his back on Evolution, And if you do win that Championship tonight. He's going to do the same thing to you, the thing is Eddie. He's going to stab everyone in the back to get ahead of himself just like he did with Triple H". "You see Eddie, the longer Batista panders around to the World Heavyweight Championship, the more that you're going to look right through him and then what's going to happen?". "You see Eddie, Batista is not your friend. Batista has never been my friend, And I have hate for what Batista did, because when he held me on my shoulders and put him down after I won the World Heavyweight Championship, I Wanted Revenge". "Just like Rey Mysterio did to you, Eddie. And What did you do?. "You got your revenge by beating him down and bringing his son Dominic into this. See Eddie. I know that lying, cheating and stealing". "I know the reason why you didn't come out there like all the other SMACKDOWN Stars did last week. It's because that you know had you come down there. I'm sure Kane, Big Show and Edge would have eaten you alive, maybe that shot to the head by Mr. Kennedy prevented you from doing so, or maybe you were thinking about yourself so much that you didn't even bother to help him". "I Walk Alone" then plays as Batista comes out nursing his upper back from what happened when Kane and The Big Show attacked him. Batista also has a mic of his own. "Randy, first of all, shut your mouth and secondly, I also have a question for you". "Where were you also when Kane and Big Show attacked me?". "You know Randy, Kane is The Undertaker's Brother, "and Kane could've taken you out too for what you did to his brother at No Mercy. But for once I have to agree, "Eddie. Last Week, I could've needed you out there when Kane and Big Show attacked me. Because I needed that Eddie Guerrero to help me, the old Eddie Guerrero to help me. But I get you were injured and I get it and the things that Randy Orton has said aren't true because I believe that you are back, I believe that you've gained your fans back, and I believe that you've earned another shot at me because they want to see not only me and you, They want to see you and me teach Mr. Randy Orton a lesson, but as you do know. It's every man for himself. And like i've said before if you do stab me in the back, I'm going to take you down". Eddie says "Dave, Essa, I know it's for the World Heavyweight Championship, But you see it's been a year that I've lost that Championship. And I wanna be untop of the mountain again". So win or lose, I promise you we will still be friends and at the Survivor Series". We are going to kick Team RAW's Ass Essa". Batista then speaks up saying "Eric Bischoff, Kane, Big Show, Edge, Shawn Michaels and the rest of the RAW people, this is a message to you watch what I do to my fellow SMACKDOWN Mates, and this Monday Night on RAW. We will pay you guys a little bit of redemption for what you did last week". Just as the fans pop for the statement. Orton comes in with a cheap shot knocking Eddie down and here comes Batista. Batista and Orton are exchanging punches with Batista getting the upper hand. But Cowboy Bob sneaks up from behind Batista and that distraction allows Orton to punt Batista down low. Eddie rolls out of the ring and gets a steel chair while The Ortons do a number on Batista. Eddie gets back in the ring with the chair chasing the Ortons out of the ring. What an epic explosion that's going to happen tonight in the Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. (break) SMACKDOWN returns from Commercial Break with the segment that was just shown moments ago between Eddie Guerrero, Batista and Randy Orton with Randy Orton attempting to make a statement to both Batista and Eddie Guerrero.
Match 1: Chris Benoit vs Johnny Nitro w/Joey Mercury and Melina Ever since losing the WWE United States Championship. Benoit has been on a downward spiral recently against Booker T and Sharmell but this should be a good fast paced match between Nitro and Benoit. Benoit starts off the momentum very quickly against Nitro, but a distraction by Joey Mercury allows Nitro to take advantage and fight back against Benoit. Benoit does eventually make a comeback and puts Nitro away with the Crippler Crossface to get the victory. Winner: Chris Benoit After the match. Booker T's music plays in the arena as he makes his way down to the ring. Booker is standing on the stage but he's got some company, he's got William Regal, Sylvan, Kid Kash and Mr. Kennedy with him. Benoit is ready to fight, but Booker backs off "Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa, hold it there Benoit". "You and I know that this feud has only begun". "Weeks Ago, I beat you for the United States Championship". "And at Survivor Series, we all know that Survivor Series is about surviving, So I have my 5 best here, all you gotta do Benoit is have your best of five people and we'll make it a 5 on 5. Benoit says "What are you suggesting here, Booker. Does that mean I have to find 4 people at the same time?. Well you know something you're right, my four partners just happen to be right here, Then suddenly through the crowd. Hardcore Holly. Juventud Guerrera (The Cruiserweight Champion and Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Benoit speaks up again "You See Booker, These are my five guys, and at the Survivor Series we are not only going to survive, but Booker. I'm going to do to you what I should have done weeks ago. I am going to make your ass tap out and after that you and me in the ring again one more time and I will take back the United States Championship". Benoit and his Team talk trash to Booker and his team on the other side of the entryway. Backstage. Theodore Long is on his cell phone talking about how RAW will not get in the building tonight, until he's interrupted by JBL "Teddy, tonight you said RAW would not be there, but you damn well know that RAW may show up, but if it does, I'm calling Chris Masters out to a fight". Long responds saying "Now John, I know even though you and I haven't seen eye to eye, everyone knows that RAW will not be there, I can promise you that". JBL says "Well Why didn't you add me to the World Heavyweight Championship Match, everyone knows that I deserve to be the Face of SMACKDOWN and also the World Heavyweight Champion". Long says "Now listen JBL, Like I said you were the face of SMACKDOWN, you became the WWE Champion for a long unprecented time, but Eddie Guerrero and Randy Orton are two of the most talented athletes and there is no way that they won't be denied, but as for you JBL, tonight. I think you should see competition". Because tonight you're going to go one on one with a mystery opponent". JBL says "Mystery Opponent?". Long says "That's right playa a Mystery Opponent. An Opponent who has a score to settle with you". JBL says "Well you tell him this, he won't last even 5 minutes or 10 minutes with a Wrestling God". Long says "Well If I Were You, I'd be Ready playa". JBL leaves as Long is still in his office, then suddenly the strange red light like we saw weeks ago must signal the arrival of the Boogeyman. The Boogeyman appears in Long's office saying "I'm The Boogeyman and I'm Coming To Get You!. Boogeyman smashes his clock as he disappears. (break) A video clip is shown of The Undertaker's return at the 2005 Survivor Series. Josh Matthews interviews Randy Orton and Cowboy Bob Orton about the Triple Threat Match as SMACKDOWN returns from break and asks about the Triple Threat Match between him, Batista and Eddie Guerrero. Orton says "Josh, I know what I said out there earlier on is true, Batista and Eddie Guerrero are not friends, as a matter of fact, I know these two are probably going to stab each other in the back to win and that's where I come in". "For 3 years since i've come to the WWE, I have beaten the best. I have beaten Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley, Triple H. Chris Jericho, Batista and The Undertaker, at No Mercy. I killed the legend of The Undertaker, and yes people can talk about all those videos saying that The Undertaker's dead or not. But dead or not, he's not coming back and he will not ruin my moment tonight. Because, with Batista injured, because of last week what Kane and The Big Show did. I don't think Batista needs to be at Survivor Series. I think after I beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship. He should be the better man and ask me to take his spot for him so I can be the sole Survivor for the third straight time". "In 2003, I ran Stone Cold Steve Austin out of business, 1 year ago, I beat Triple H. And I could be the one that singlehandedly can beat Team RAW". "Eddie, Batista, I hope both of you are listening because you two may be getting along but I am the Legend Killer, And tonight. I'm ending both of your careers"
Match 2: Tag Team Match The Legion of Doom (Heidenreich and Animal) vs William Regal and Paul Burchill We just saw William Regal earlier as he will be a part of the Survivor Series Elimination Match when he teams up with Booker T, Sylvan, Kid Kash and Mr. Kennedy to take on Chris Benoit, Hardcore Holly, Juventud Guerrera, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. But this is an okay tag team match here. But it's Regal and Burchill that get the win with Regal making Animal submit to the Regal Stretch. Winners: William Regal and Paul Burchill Backstage. Josh Matthews interviews Bobby Lashley about him being a part of the Survivor Series Match between Team SMACKDOWN and Team RAW. Lashley speaks up saying "You know Josh, It's an honor for me to be a part of the Survivor Series teaming up with the best of SMACKDOWN, when I joined SMACKDOWN in September, I had to prove that I would be the best of SMACKDOWN and I've done so thus far, but now I am a part of a Team that is the best of SMACKDOWN. I got guys like Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio and JBL". Josh asks that if Lashley will get in the ring with Chris Masters at the Survivor Series. Lashley says "I've watched Chris Masters on Monday Night RAW". "I've seen what he can do with the Masterlock". "And if he thinks he can lock it in on me, then he better hope and pray that I break it". Then suddenly Simon Dean comes in. "Hey Bobby, I haven't forgotten what you did at No Mercy when you forced me to eat cheeseburgers, as they were disgusting as hell. And I've spent the last few weeks wondering what I can do to fight back against you Bobby, so tonight I figured to get my revenge against you. Bobby says "At No Mercy, I beat you, well tonight, If I wanna beat you again, what do you say we make the match a Falls Count Anywhere Match and we can do this right here, right now. Simon says "I Accept". Just as Simon retreats and as Bobby begins to talk. Simon hits Bobby with Simon's go cart knocking him to his knees. Bobby gets to his feet as Simon walks away with Bobby having a mean look in his eyes. (break) Match 3: Falls Count Anywhere Match Bobby Lashley vs Simon Dean Lashley wastes no time going for Simon Dean right after Lashley's entrance. Lashley beats him down and Simon eventually rakes the eyes getting out of the ring looking for weapons, a trashcan, kendo sticks and other things he can find. Simon hits a trashcan on Lashley and eventually gets him down. But Lashley is able to kick out at 2. Lashley fights back after Simon hits him in the chest with a kendo stick but it does not faze Lashley one bit. Lashley grabs Simon and choke throws him out of the ring. Simon tries to beg off and goes backstage where Lashley follows him. Simon uses a fire extinguisher to spray it in Lashley's eyes but it still won't faze Lashley. Lashley then beats on Simon throwing him through the walls until they get to the catering room with Lashley slamming Simon through a vending machine and that allows Lashley to get the victory. What a win for Bobby Lashley, after the contest. Lashley humilates Simon more by shoving food into his mouth, another humilation for Simon Dean. Winner: Bobby Lashley Backstage. JBL is making his way down to the ring, his match with a mystery opponent is up next. (break) "Longhorn" plays in the arena as JBL makes his way out in the limousine waiting for his mystery opponent. JBL gets out of the car and enters the ring in where he picks up a microphone. "This is a message to Team RAW. Last Week, you bastards thought you had the upper hand in attacking our World Heavyweight Champion". "You Edge and that redhead girlfriend of a slut you called Lita and that big red fat intellectually- disabled person Kane and his fat bastard Big Show who eats an entire pizza and that jacked up orangutan Chris Masters and also that grey haired Bert Reynolds wannabe lookalike Eric Bischoff". "I want all of you team RAW to listen close". "Team SMACKDOWN will be over in London this Monday Night". "So if you all have the balls, then this Monday Night in London, It will be a fight, And Chris Masters. Don't think I haven't forgotten of what you did to Teddy Long, because I am challenging you to a one on one match this Monday Night on RAW". "There won't be no Masterlock Challenge". "It's going to be a brawl". "Now as far as this mystery opponent goes". "I want him to show himself to me so he too can feel the same fate". As JBL waits "Just Close Your Eyes" plays in the arena as the fans are in shock that Christian is here, we thought Christian was not with the WWE anymore. But he's here now. Christian has a microphone in hand "JBL. 2 weeks ago I almost left the WWE, They said my contract was done, But I decided to get another shot, I wanted to join somewhere else, But I decided that my heart is in WWE". The fans cheer for Christian for staying "And I figured that I'm going to stay, two weeks ago when I left there was a big problem, when we teamed up against Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio. You turned your back on me. And that's why tonight I'm here to be your mystery opponent so I can get my revenge on you". JBL speaks and replies saying "Listen to me, the only reason you're back is because you wanna see that you still deserve to be in the WWE". "You should've signed to another wrestling promotion, but how dare you choose to stay in the WWE and challenge a Wrestling God". Christian says "First of all, how dare you turn your back on me weeks ago?". "I'm here to get my revenge against you". Christian and JBL are face to face with Christian slapping JBL in the face.
Match 4: Christian vs JBL Christian is here tonight to make his return against the former WWE Champion JBL and what a great match that we have to kick off the second hour of SMACKDOWN. JBL and Christian lock up in the center of the ring with JBL and Christian locking up in the buckle and JBL gives Christian a cheap shot to the head allowing Christian to go right after him punching away at him taking him down. Christian is serious here tonight. JBL eventually gets the momentum back in his favor by throwing Christian over the top rope after Christian attempted a move on JBL. JBL then tosses Christian straight into the steel steps. JBL brings Christian up and throws a hard right hand at him and continues to gain the momentum in this match. Christian tries to make a comeback but JBL thwarts his momentum by hitting a Fallaway Slam on Christian. Christian is able to kick out at 2. JBL continues to gain the momentum throughout the commercial break but after the Commercial Break. Christian breaks out of the sleeper hold and hits a back suplex and what a hard hitting contest this has been between these two. Christian goes to the top rope and hits a cross body taking the former WWE Champion down but JBL kicks out at 2. Christian gets the momentum back in his favor and almost puts JBL away with that modified neckbreaker but JBL kicks out at 2 again. Christian whips JBL into the buckle but JBL hits a boot to the face and JBL whips Christian into the ropes and nails him with a big boot and goes for the elbow drop but Christian rolls out of the way. Christian then charges at JBL and goes for a hurracarana but JBL counters it into a powerbomb and what a hard back and forth match this has been between these two. JBL goes for the cover again but Christian kicks out at 2. JBL then goes to the top rope and goes for a move but Christian crotches the ropes down and gets on the top turnbuckle with JBL and the two exchange blows on there. Christian gets the upper hand and hits a superplex on JBL. Christian goes for the cover but JBL again kicks out at 2. Commentator Tazz says "Christian and JBL just won't quit, they will not stay down". JBL gets back to his feet and gets momentum back on his side by hitting a swinging neckbreaker and JBL signals for the clothesline from hell but Christian ducks and hits a powerslam on JBL but JBL still kicks out at 2. This has been a fiery match between these two. JBL gets back to his feet and him and Christian exchange blows. JBL takes advantage and hits a DDT knocking Christian down. JBL goes for another cover but Christian again kicks out at 2. And what a great match. JBL gets to his feet and signals for a clothesline from hell. JBL charges but Christian blocks the Clothesline From Hell attempt and grabs JBL by the tights and pins him to get the win. What a move by Captain Charisma defeating JBL in this high profile match on SMACKDOWN! Winner: Christian After the match. JBL attempts a sneak attack but Christian thwarts the sneak attack and knocks out JBL out of the ring with a clothesline and begins his celebration again. Josh Matthews interviews MNM and Melina about Nitro's loss to Chris Benoit. Melina says "Don't worry Josh my boys are still the Tag Team Champions and will always be the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Champions not like those ugly ogres Kane and The Big Show". "But speaking of Championships, There's a Championship that I wanna challenge, Trish Stratus. You think you're the greatest woman in the WWE?. Just because you've won Babe of The Year 3 times and Diva of the Decade, does that make you think you're special?. Yes, I've watched you in 2000, You and Lita tore it down numerous times, I mean, come to think of it. You were Vince McMahon's bitch too because you had a lot of sexual favors with him back when his wife was in a medically induced coma years ago, I mean who else would want to sleep with their bosses?. But Trish, you've hogged that spotlight for so long and it's time that I take that spotlight away from you because this isn't the Attitude Era anymore, this is a New Era. And it's time that Melina beats you and takes that title from you, so Trish. I am issuing you a challenge at Survivor Series, and on Monday Night RAW. I want my answer or else. Trish, I will beat an answer out of you".
(break)
Match 5: Tag Team Match Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio vs Nunzio and Vito Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio have been working well as a great tag team ever since Hardy's return to SMACKDOWN. They have been rivals in the past, but that's all been put to pasture. Hardy and Mysterio get some good momentum even though Nunzio and Vito also gain momentum in the match but in the end it's Mysterio and Hardy that get the win with Mysterio and Hardy hitting a 619/Twist of Fate Combination on Vito to get the victory. Winners: Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio
Backstage, Theodore Long is in his office where he receives a phone call, he answers it. Long says "Hello?". Yes, Mr. McMahon, what can I do for you Playa?. SMACKDOWN takes a commercial break with that question.
Backstage, New SMACKDOWN Correspondent Kristal Marshall goes into Teddy Long's office and asks "Mr. Long, just before we went to break, you spoke to Mr. McMahon, what did he want". Long says "Well, Kristal. He wants me and Eric Bischoff to come to Monday Night RAW which we will be at and he, I and Eric Bischoff are going to be in the same ring together, because he has an earth shattering announcement for Survivor Series, As far as everyone who will be watching Monday Night, everyone will have to find out".
Backstage. Batista is in his locker room when Eddie Guerrero shows up to his locker room. Batista says "What's up Eddie". Eddie and Batista hug. Eddie says "You know essa, You'll never know how much I am proud of you, you've been busting your ass since you came to the WWE three years ago. I've never been more happy to see how far you've come. And for that if I win or you win tonight, we will still be friends and at Survivor Series, we'll remain friends after we kick RAW's Butt". Batista says "You know Eddie, You've been my friend for months and I can honestly say that no one's helped me more than you". "At No Mercy, I was glad to defend my World Heavyweight Championship against you and now tonight even though Randy Orton is in our match. I am glad to defend the World Heavyweight Title tonight against you too. So No Matter the Outcome, at Survivor Series. We're going to have each other's back. Eddie says "I know RAW may come tonight. I don't know if RAW will show up. I don't know if Eric Bischoff will have something up his sleeve, homes. Cause you know he may, I mean you're still injured for what happened last week when Kane and Big Show attacked you. Batista says "Eddie, like Teddy said there won't be any RAW Superstars out tonight, I promise you and if there are. Then, you me and Randy even if I trust him or not will kick some ass". Eddie says "That's why I always have had your back and I always will homes, trust me. You Can Count On Me". Eddie and Batista shake hands and hug and Eddie leaves with Batista still warming up.
Also in another backstage area. Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio are celebrating their big win, but Randy Orton stares them down and begins to speak down to them. Orton says "Just because you two got a win, doesn't change the fact that what you did Last Week. Now, Matt, you saved Rey Mysterio from possibly being the next victim of the Legend Killer, but do you really think that you are much more than that?. I mean for a guy that goes to the extremes, for a guy that's had a pathetic brother for all of his life who couldn't get the job done, for a guy who had his heart broken when his ex-girlfriend Lita dumped him and left him for Edge. And your motto says "You will Not Die?". Well guess what, Matt. You're already dead. You're a shell of what you once was. And there's one reason why you cannot win the big one is because people like you Matt are just reaching to the top, but go back down". "So I want you and Rey to watch later on when I beat Batista and Eddie Guerrero and become the World Heavyweight Champion Again". Matt says "You know Randy, your threats don't scare me, they don't scare me and Rey, people like us have been busting our ass. You've been handed fame and fortune all because of your father Bob Orton. What you did to The Undertaker at No Mercy, a man that has respected his business. A man that i've respected is uncalled for". "So Randy, If you wanna try to make a name for yourself, then why don't you challenge me". Orton says "First off you can't beat me, because i'm untouchable and I am the Legend Killer, and tonight I will be the World Heavyweight Champion, something you can never do. Orton walks away as Matt lunges at him but Rey holds him back.
Backstage, Theodore Long is running to a locker room with SMACKDOWN Superstars like Chris Benoit, Heidenreich, Animal, JBL, Hardcore Holly, William Regal and Bobby Lashley follow close behind him, they go to Batista's locker room where it is seen that he is knocked out and that there was a steel pipe. The commentators think that there was an attack by Team RAW. Tazz says "Team RAW may have been in the building and they may have done another damage to the World Heavyweight Champion".
(break)
Backstage, some more SMACKDOWN Superstars like Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy and Eddie Guerrero also check on Batista with Batista sitting down and regaining consciousness. Long asks if Batista knows who it was. Batista says "No, I don't know who did it, but it could've been Kane and The Big Show or Edge or Lita, god knows they could've snuck in that building and jumped me from behind. Batista holds his head but he refuses medical attention. Long says "Batista, you need some medical attention, we've got to postpone the match". Batista says "No, I wanna defend my championship hurt or not. An attack is not going to stop me from my defending the Championship", "Besides it may have been Randy Orton, and if it was. I'm going to kick his ass. Batista slowly gets to his feet, Long tells Batista "Are you sure you're going to go through with this". Batista says "Yes". Batista slowly gets to his feet by leaving the locker room as some of the SMACKDOWN Superstars also do as well, but Eddie is still in the locker room as he holds the led pipe, what is Eddie going to do with that pipe?.
(break)
"I Walk Alone" plays in the arena as the World Heavyweight Champion Batista slowly makes his way down to ringside, he was viciously assaulted by an unknown assiliant in which Teddy Long believes it was a hit by Eric Bischoff. Batista has trouble getting in the ring but eventually makes it. Michael Cole says "The Champion is in no shape to compete, but he's walking down to the ring and still wants to go through with this match". "Burn In My Light" then plays in the arena as Randy Orton shows up with Cowboy Bob Orton. Tazz says "I think The Legend Killer may have had something to do with Batista's attack, he may be hiding it. Maybe Orton could've done it. I don't know". Batista then charges at Orton in the ring as Orton makes his way to the ring and Cowboy Bob gets in there as well. A weakened Batista then fights the Ortons and it seems he is doing a pretty good job at it. But Cowboy Bob gets in a double sledge on Batista and the Ortons begin to attack Batista, then "Viva La Raza" hits as Eddie Guerrero makes his way down to the ring.
Match 6: World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match Eddie Guerrero vs Randy Orton vs Batista And now we can get this Triple Threat Match underway, but why is Cowboy Bob still in the ring. Eddie begins to take it to Cowboy Bob and Randy Orton. Eddie hits a high back body drop on Cowboy Bob and dropkicks Randy out of the ring. Eddie begins to check on Batista and Eddie asks Batista if he is okay but Orton gets in the ring and sneak attacks Eddie but Eddie fights back and hits the three amigos on Orton and starts to climb to the top rope to go for the frog splash but wait there's Cowboy Bob. Eddie gets out of the top rope and punches Cowboy Bob in the face and that distraction allows Orton to get to his feet and nail Eddie with the RKO. Batista charges at Orton but Orton hits the RKO on Batista as well. And Orton gets set to cover, but then all of a sudden. The Undertaker's gong sounds as the lights go out, then the same vignette is heard from earlier tonight with static and thunder and lightning, The Video ends saying "November 27, 2005, at Survivor Series, The Beginning of The End". The lights come back on and Orton begins to retreat out of the ring. Eddie and Batista are down, but Eddie is back to his feet and Eddie starts to get Batista up. Eddie asks Batista again if he's still okay. Batista says yes. Eddie gets him up but then LOW BLOW!. Eddie Guerrero just hit Batista with a Low Blow. What The Hell?. What The Hell?. The Commentators go nuts with Michael Cole screaming "What the Hell Just Happened?". Eddie begins to lay in some punches on Batista and grabs that steel pipe that was used. Tazz says "So Eddie was the one that attacked Batista backstage?". Michael says "He had to have done it, Batista has been stabbed in the back by Eddie Guerrero". Eddie waits for Batista to get to his feet and he does and Eddie clocks Batista in the head with the led pipe. Eddie then tells the referee to make the count, the match is still going. Eddie covers Batista and pins him, 1. 2. 3. And we have a new World Heavyweight Champion and the fans are booing at the outcome. Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Eddie Guerrero
The fans are in stunned silence as Batista's 7-month reign as World Heavyweight Champion has ended, but why would Eddie do this?. Eddie fooled the fans all along into thinking he was back into a good guy again. Michael Cole says "I can't believe it, Batista's reign as World Heavyweight Champion has come to an end, Eddie Guerrero has stabbed this friendship completely in the back. Tazz says "I knew something up with Eddie Guerrero, I knew he was going to be jealous of Batista. Eddie then stares down Batista and says "You think I was your friend, you think I was your comprede Essa, there's one thing You need to know, I'm not your friend, I was never your friend and I never will be". Eddie begins to pick Batista up and hits him with the World Heavyweight Title knocking him back down and Eddie just starts punching away at him again and lets him go as he gets outside to pick up a steel chair. Eddie looks at Batista's bandage from his back and begins to rip it off and Eddie nails Batista with the chair to that injured exposed back. The referees beg Eddie to stop but Eddie refuses. Batista is screaming in pain. Batista is also busted open as well from that championship he just took to the head. Eddie gets out of the ring and begins to pick up the steel steps. Eddie gets in the ring with them and sets them in the ring. Eddie picks Batista up and hits a vertical suplex on the steps similar to what Eddie did to Rey Mysterio. Michael Cole then screams "Enough is Enough, Batista has been destroyed. Eddie Guerrero has severed this friendship, he said that he was Batista's friend, but why would he do this to Batista. Is it because he wants the World Heavyweight Championship?. Well he has it now and he proved that by attacking Batista. Eddie then spits in Batista's face to add an insult to injury. Eddie gets out of the ring with the championship while EMT's and Officials check on Batista. Cole says "And now with Batista's condition, it is unclear that he may not make the Survivor Series, that may put Team RAW at an advantage". Tazz says "I don't think Eddie is on Team RAW's side, I think it's pretty clear that he has betrayed Batista and wanted desperately the one thing Batista has held the most and that is the World Heavyweight Championship". Cole then says "Well he got it attacking Batista backstage with that led pipe after telling Batista that he was proud of him and for him to do this, this was the Eddie Guerrero that we have known for months. EMT's load Batista out on a stretcher while Eddie raises the World Heavyweight Championship untop of the steps as the fans boo him. SMACKDOWN goes off the air with Eddie raising the title up untop of the steps.

I'm back for good, And I also have a new diary, I've given the WWF 1993/1997 BTB a break for a while so I can move on to a new diary, The Ruthless Aggression Era. The one where I keep Eddie Guerrero alive.

Backstory: On that fateful November 13, 2005. Eddie Guerrero was found by his nephew, Chavo Guerrero in a Minneapolis Hotel Room, he was found passed out. EMT's tried to revive Eddie but they were too late. Eddie Guerrero was dead at the age of 38. But what if Eddie did not die, what if Eddie had stayed alive and had a few more matches left on the table and retired a happy man, and what if Chris Benoit never went crazy and killed his wife and son. The Ruthless Aggression Era was on an all time high with new wrestlers getting their time in the sun, no longer was the Old Attitude Era of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Also no longer was the Say Your Prayers and Eat Your Vitamins in the Golden Era with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, new stars were getting their time to shine. Sit back and relax and see how I rebook Eddie Guerrero and also the Ruthless Aggression Era.

I'm back with my Summerslam Reviews: This time we are tackling the New Generation Era, by the end of the 1980s and the start of the 1990s, the WWF was bottoming out on the top guys from the 1980s like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts and other superstars. Vince would seek to it to begin a New Generation, a New Generation of stars like Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Yokozuna and others. The WWF had beaten out every competition that there was, but their biggest threat came in the form of WCW. The WWF was in trouble, but could they fight back?. SUMMERSLAM 1993 - Auburn Hills, Michigan - August 30. 1993 upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8c/SummerSlam1993.jpgBefore Summerslam 1993: By the start of 1993, the WWF was losing all of their big stars in Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior and others. At the King of The Ring, Yokozuna ended the reign of Hulkamania and sent him packing out of the WWF for good by winning the WWF Title for the second time. Yokozuna and his cohort Mr. Fuji was now sent to humilate America the worst by announcing a bodyslam challenge to see who would Bodyslam Yokozuna, NFL Superstars and WWF Superstars all accepted the call, but they could not bodyslam Yokozuna when suddenly on the USS Intrepid. Lex Luger showed up and shoved his former manager Bobby Heenan aside. He got in the ring face to face with Yokozuna. After tossing Fuji over the top rope to the floor. Luger bodyslammed Yokozuna to the mat and with the win. Luger earned himself a WWF Championship Match. After Luger's bodyslam heard around the world. Luger began campaigning around the United States. Also, In another grudge match. Bret Hart wanted to get his redemption on Jerry Lawler for Lawler ruining his King of The Ring Celebration as well. Ramon/Dibiase: Summerslam kicked off with the Million Dollar Man taking on the Bad Guy Razor Ramon, now this was Dibiase's final match. I would've let Dibiase wrestle a few more times before calling it a career by late 1993 or possibly Early 1994 if I ran the WWF differently. This was not a bad match, the match did come about when Razor was humilated after The 123 Kid had defeated him. Razor eventually turned into a face and took The 123 Kid under his wing. Razor would win this match by hitting the Razor's Edge. The opening match would have to be a 3/5, not a bad match to be honest. The Steiners/Heavenly Bodies: This was The Steiners's hometown match, so you probably would have to say that they would have to win here, no brainer. The match gets a 2/5. But the crowd really popped big for the Steiners in their hometown. Michaels/Perfect: Out of all 5 Summerslams, the Intercontinental Championship changed hands 5 times, but could it change for the sixth time. That question was determined when the greatest wrestler of the 90s took on Mr. Perfect, this was a great match. Michaels did of course have Diesel by his side. But Michaels and Perfect really clicked and it showed, Wasn't a Perfect Intercontinental Title Match, Michaels won the match by countout, but the match to me is another 3/5. IRS/Kid: The Kid had arrived to the WWF in May of 1993 after defeating Razor Ramon in a shocking upset, but he had to take one of the fresh talented WWF Superstars, of course the Tax Cheat, Irwin R. Shyster. The Kid's partner and friend Razor got the job done against Dibiase, but could The Kid get the job done against IRS. The answer was no. IRS was able to pick up the win, the match to me is still a 2/5. Bret/Doink: The match was supposed to be Bret vs Lawler, but Lawler faked a knee injury. Yea!, it was fake. Lawler was just faking it so that he couldn't take on Bret. So Lawler hired Doink to do his dirty work. The match ended on a DQ with Lawler of course using his fake crutch to attack Bret. The match gets a 1/5. Nothing to shout home about. Bret/Lawler: This was hardcore justice for the Hitman as he took on Lawler in this match. Bret and Lawler had great chemistry in the match and it really worked well, the match ended with Bret using the sharpshooter to Lawler and technically won the match. However. Bret continued to lock in the sharpshooter more and the referee had no choice but to award the decision to Lawler by DQ. The match gets a 3/5 although they put on a good match, but the ending was just asinine. Borga/Jannetty: This was easy peasy for Borga who had made his debut as he defeated Jannetty, so here's another 1/5. Undertaker/Gonzales: Okay possibly one of the worst feuds for The Undertaker ever, his feud in 1993 was so worse with Gonzales. The feud came about when Gonzales eliminated Undertaker from the 1993 Royal Rumble Match and it would continue to WrestleMania 9 when Gonzales used an ether to smother Undertaker in their match giving Undertaker the victory. Now honestly, I think it should've been Bam Bam Bigelow and Undertaker in 1993. Bigelow should've been a good opponent for The Undertaker, not discounting that. But Man, Gonzales was terrible in the ring. He was okay as El Gigante in WCW but damn. The match also came about when Mr. Hughes, Harvey Whippleman's advisor also stole The Undertaker's urn and put Paul Bearer on the shelf. The Undertaker desperately needed to recapture that urn against Gonzales, now this match was better than WrestleMania 9, but Gonzales was just all over the place again. And everytime Undertaker tried to reclaim the urn. Gonzales would stop him at the pass until Paul Bearer came down the entryway with a wreath and knocked out Harvey Whippleman recapturing the urn giving The Undertaker his power back and thus making a comeback against the 400-pound monster Gonzales to get the victory and thus sending Gonzales out of the WWF for good, but still this is a 2/5. Horrible for Undertaker and Gonzales is all I have to say. Tatanka and The Smoking Gunns/Bigelow and Headshrinkers: The next to last match before the main event and this was a very entertaining six-man tag team match because you had talent like these six superstars. Bigelow & Headshrinkers were the big guys in that match. But somehow Tatanka & The Gunns were able to get an upset over The Headshrinkers & Bigelow, the 6-Man Tag will get a 3/5 because it was entertaining. Luger/Yokozuna: And possibly the biggest match of the night. Luger and Yokozuna, the question remained could Luger end Yokozuna's short lived reign as the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Yoko had been champ for almost 2 months and Luger wanted to take it from him. This was an okay main event between Luger and Yokozuna, Yokozuna didn't fight bad at all and neither did Luger, both of them did pretty well against one another. Yokozuna of course had the momentum but it would be Luger fighting back by delivering another bodyslam on Yokozuna and knocking him out of the ring with a forearm. Luger would win the match on a countout, but did not win the WWF Championship. But still a joyous victory for the Lex Express. The match will get a 3/5 cause of Luger & Yokozuna having experienced talent with each other even though they were big guys. Summerslam 1993 was not pretty good in my opinion. I have to name a MVP. And that MVP would be Lex Luger because of the aftermath celebration. The WVP would be Undertaker/Gonzales. MVP: Lex Luger WVP: The Undertaker/Giant Gonzales SUMMERSLAM 1994 - United Center - Chicago, IL - August 29, 1994 upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fd/SummerSlam_1994.jpgBefore Summerslam 1994: 1994 rolled around in the World Wrestling Federation, tough times were hard for the WWF now that WCW was starting to get more momentum over the World Wrestling Federation. Hogan and Flair were now the top 2 guys in WCW while Bret Hart was once again the #1 man in the World Wrestling Federation, At the 1993 Survivor Series. Bret and his brother Owen were in a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Shawn Michaels & The Knights. Bret and his family disposed of the Knights very quickly, but after a misstep by Bret and Owen. Shawn would get the only elimination by eliminating Owen that upsetted Owen to the point where he shoved Bret after the match. And many people thought that Owen and Bret would reconcilate by the holidays and the new year of 1994. At the 1994 Royal Rumble, they faced The Quebecers for the WWF Tag Team Championship. Bret injured his ankle in the middle of the match, Bret also refused to tag his partner Owen in, unfortunately Bret and Owen would lose the match to the Quebecers. After the match, Owen kicked Bret in the leg and stated that he was too selfish leaving Bret's status in peril to the 1994 Royal Rumble Match. Bret would eventually make the Rumble Match at #27 and would co-win alongside Lex Luger. At WrestleMania 10, before Bret could face off against Yokozuna for the title. Bret had to wrestle Owen first. Owen would shock Bret by picking up the surprising win in a fantastic match. Bret would return later that night however and still got the last laugh by defeating Yokozuna to win the WWF Championship for the second straight time. After the match, Owen came down and watched Bret celebrate his victory. At the 1994 King of The Ring, Owen would have his moment in the sun when he won the 1994 King of The Ring similar to what his brother did last year and what made matters worse for Bret was that Bret's partner Jim Neidhart was now on Owen's side. Owen and Bret would face off at the biggest party of the summer in a Steel Cage Match at Summerslam, meanwhile In another main event from 1994 at Summerslam. At that year's Royal Rumble the night when Owen turned on Bret. The WWF Championship was also on the line when reigning 568-pound WWF Champion Yokozuna took on The Undertaker in a Casket Match, The Undertaker had the momentum on his side but as he was prepared to shut the casket on Yokozuna. Yokozuna's friends ran down to attack The Undertaker. Undertaker would try to fight back against these 10 men fighting off Diesel, Bam Bam Bigelow, Jeff Jarrett, The Headshrinkers, Crush, Tenryu and Kabuki and Adam Bomb, but all of a sudden. The Undertaker's urn was stolen by Yokozuna and Yokozuna would smack The Undertaker with the urn and Yoko would open it up with green smoke bellowing from the urn. Yokozuna and all of the superstars would take The lifeless body of the Deadman and stuff him inside the casket with Yokozuna winning the match, but as they were set to take the casket backstage as some sort of trophy, the casket filled with Green Smoke coming out of the casket, the lights would then go out with an image of Undertaker inside the casket. The Deadman rose up from inside the casket warning Yokozuna and his henchmen that he would not rest in peace and that he would be reborn again. The Deadman would then disappear by levitating out of the arena, at the end of WrestleMania 10. Everyone around the world stated that they had seen sightings of The Undertaker, even Ted Dibiase claimed that he had found The Undertaker, because after all it was Dibiase that brought The Undertaker to the WWF at the 1990 Survivor Series. Paul Bearer said that Dibiase was a liar and wanted Dibiase to put his money where his mouth was. At the Heartbreak Hotel in June, Ted Dibiase revealed The Undertaker once more, but that was not The Undertaker, that was not the same man who was beaten down by Yokozuna at the 1994 Royal Rumble. Infact it was a fake and even Paul Bearer said that Dibiase's Undertaker was not real. Bearer returned to the cemetery in where he felt The Undertaker was here the strongest. Even Leslie Nielsen was brought in to investigate, weeks would go by with no sign of Paul Bearer's Undertaker, but all of a sudden, weeks before Summerslam at the King's Court as Paul Bearer confronted Ted Dibiase's Undertaker and Dibiase's Undertaker threatened to chokeslam him. The Lights dimmed and The Undertaker's gong was heard with Bearer proclaiming the presence of his Undertaker. And on an edition of the Heartbreak Hotel. Paul Bearer allowed Dibiase and his Undertaker to hear his Undertaker's words. Undertaker for the first time since the 1994 Royal Rumble spoke saying that Dibiase's Undertaker would rest in peace setting up the scene for the main event at Summerslam. Bigelow & IRS/The Headshrinkers: The match was originally scheduled to be for the WWF Tag Team Championship, but on the night before Summerslam, Diesel and Shawn Michaels defeated The Headshrinkers to win the WWF Tag Team Titles, the match did take place as planned, however the titles were not on the line. Bigelow and IRS worked pretty well as a team because they had Ted Dibiase as their manager. Now this was an okay tag team match, But still not 10 or 15 minutes even though the titles were not at stake. Bigelow and IRS got the win by DQ over The Headshrinkers, The Headshrinkers also had Lou Albano in their corner as well. The Tag Match will get a 2/5. If the match was for the Tag Team Titles, it would've been a 3/5. Blayze/Nakano: The first time that the Women's Championship was defended at a Summerslam. The Women's Title would be deactivated at the end of 1989 when Rockin' Robin left the WWF. The WWF eventually would bring it back in December of 1993 with Alundra Blayze who would best be known as Madusa later on in her wrestling career. Blayze also retained the title at WrestleMania 10 as well against Leilani Kai at Madison Square Garden. But this was an obstacle for her as she took on Bull Nakano, now granted Blayze and Nakano revolutionized the Women's Division together and they had great chemistry and this match was good, not perfect but good. Blayze gets the win and retains the Women's Championship over Nakano. 3/5 for both ladies competing in their first Summerslam as women. Diesel/Razor: 4 months ago, Diesel captured the Intercontinental Championship over the Bad Guy Razor Ramon who fought in a tremendous ladder match against The Heartbreak Kid at WrestleMania 10. Razor had some good feuds in 1994 with both Michaels and Diesel at the same time. This was second close to Owen and Bret, But still. Razor and Diesel had great chemistry together in the ring, Razor also had Walter Payton at ringside to counter Shawn Michaels. Before their match, Diesel and Shawn did win the Tag Team Titles over the Headshrinkers the night before so that would mean huge advantage and momentum for Diesel. At the end of the match, Diesel set up Razor for a Sweet Chin Music with Shawn getting in the ring as the referee was occupied with Payton. Razor ducked and Shawn would hit the Sweet Chin Music on Diesel allowing Razor to win the title for the second time, good solid match between Razor and Diesel and that deserves a 3/5 as well. Tatanka/Luger: The match came about when everybody claimed and even Tatanka claimed that Lex Luger was going to sell out to the Million Dollar Corporation. Luger had lost all of its momentum after winning the 1994 Royal Rumble and even losing against Yokozuna at WrestleMania 10 for the WWF Championship. Luger was originally supposed to feud with Mr. Perfect, but instead Perfect bowed out due to an injury and that they had to set up this storyline between Luger and Tatanka. This was not a bad match by all means. But in the end, Luger's downward spiral continued when Tatanka got the victory over him. After the match, Luger refused to join Ted Dibiase's corporation and that allowed Tatanka to attack Luger and join the Million Dollar Corporation turning him heel, but hey if I was a booker, I would've reversed the roles with Luger joining the Corporation because to be fair, Luger didn't need the USA Gimmick. He would've been good in the Million Dollar Corporation all the way from late 1994 through the middle part of 1995 until leaving for WCW for good, the match gets a 2/5. It was okay, but the ending changed my rate a little. Jarrett/Mabel: This was probably a snack break match and that's what it was, Country vs Rap. Jarrett represented Country while Mabel represented Rap. Jarrett picks up the win in this one. The match gets a 1/5. Yep, the first 1/5 of Summerslam 1994. Cause like I said it was a Snack Break Match. What do you want me to do?. Give Jarrett and Mabel a bone?. Bret/Owen: This match honestly should have been your main event, but it wasn't. But damn it, Bret and Owen made pretty damn sure that it was even though Undertaker vs Undertaker would be last on the card which was stupid IMO. But these two really told a story similar to their WrestleMania 10 encounter, it was more of a good match between the two. These two had awesome chemistry with one another. Out of all Bret's matches at Summerslam, his matches with Perfect and Bulldog topped them all, but this was another topper for Bret taking on his brother inside the cage. Even you had the Hart Family out there and even Jim Neidhart and British Bulldog out there, the match was 35 minutes long and they could've gone past 40 minutes. But in the end. The Hitman lived to fight another day defeating his brother to retain the WWF Championship. After the match though, Owen and Jim attacked Bret and kept the Hart Family at bay when they tried to get in the cage, eventually the British Bulldog would get in the cage to save Bret helping him against Owen and Jim Neidhart. Bret and Owen's match gets, you guessed it a 5/5. Yep, a 5/5. Bret gets another Summerslam 5 out of 5. These two really told a story out there and what a way to end this rivalry in a Steel Cage Match, but even though the match between Bret and Owen ended. Bret and Owen still continued to rival with one another until they formed an alliance together in 1997 alongside with Neidhart and The British Bulldog. Undertaker/Underfaker: This match stunk, but before they stunk up the place. Paul Bearer's Undertaker had a tremendous entrance, first you expected Paul Bearer to come out with grim reapers carrying a casket, many assumed even Vince McMahon himself thought that The Undertaker was in that casket, but this was another new casket, not the same casket that The Undertaker used for his match against Yokozuna at the 1994 Royal Rumble, but it was a new casket. Paul Bearer opened up the casket to reveal a much larger size urn as Bearer entered the ring with it, he opened up the urn to reveal a light coming out from the urn signaling the Spirit of The Undertaker. Thunder and Lightning filled the United Center as The Real & True Undertaker made his return decked in all purple gear staring down a mirror size version of himself. The match yes did indeed stink, because both Undertakers threw punches at one another, there was not hardly any wrestling moves. Undertaker yes did the ropewalk and Underfaker used a chokeslam, but as Dibiase's Underfaker tried to put Undertaker away. The Phenom used not one, not two but three tombstone piledrivers to put away this Imposter once and for all and stuff him inside the casket never to be seen again. The Main Event gets a 2/5, but as for Undertaker's entrance. I will give it a 4/5 because it was so iconic. And possibly one of the greatest iconic entrances of all time by The Undertaker. Summerslam 1994 was a little better, Bret & Owen & Undertaker's entrance definitely has to be the MVP of the night, but WVP again goes to The Undertaker vs The Undertaker. MVP: Bret/Owen & Undertaker's entrance WVP: Undertaker vs Underfaker SUMMERSLAM 1995 - MELLON ARENA - PITTSBURGH, PA - August 27. 1995 Before Summerslam 1995: Let's just say this PPV was a train wreck waiting to happen, the WWF in 1995 was not doing so hot at all. Their worseness increased with Mabel winning the 1995 King of The Ring and Diesel as their top guy, now to be honest I don't have a problem with Diesel as WWF Champion. But I feel like he should've been Champion up until WrestleMania 11. Diesel should've lost the belt to someone talented like Razor Ramon or Shawn Michaels. But there was some people who should've deserved the King of The Ring and i'll start out with a list of them real quick. British Bulldog. Lex Luger. Bam Bam Bigelow. The Undertaker. Shawn Michaels. Razor Ramon, any of those guys could've been the King, but King Mabel. SMH!. Also in addition to the disastrous main event, Shawn and Razor would rekindle their WrestleMania 10 rematch in a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Hakushi/Kid: Now this was a good way to kick off Summerslam, no doubt. This was a prelude to what we'd see before the Light Heavyweight Championship would come along. Hakushi and Kid put on one heck of a good match with one another, and it showed with Hakushi scoring the upset over The Kid, the match to me gets a 4/5. Very solid start between Hakushi and The 123 Kid. Helmsley/Holly: Before he was Triple H, He would be known as the Blueblood, This was a hard hitting match between two of the soon to be Attitude Era stars. This was also The Game's first PPV Match so you knew he had to go over in this match. These two had some good chemistry, the least they could've given the two 10 or 15 minutes. But didn't happen that way, but still Helmsley got the win, the match gets a 3/5 because of Holly and Helmsley's chemistry. Gunns/Blu Brothers: As you know there were some weird talent by 1995 in the WWF and the Blu Brothers were also one of them before Don and Ron Harris became the D.O.A. by 1997. The Gunns were still pretty much a talented tag team and it showed in this match. The tag match itself wasn't bad, but it was The Gunns that picked up the win, so here's a 2/5. The match was not all that bad, but still they could've done better. Horowitz/Skip: This match came about when Horowitz finally broke his jobber streak when he defeated Skip because Skip was being too cocky as usual. Skip wanted to prove that Horowitz's victory was a fluke. Horowitz and Skip once again put on a decent showing. Horowitz and Skip lasted 11 minutes with each other and that was good, but thanks with help from Hakushi of all people. Horowitz picked up the win once again embarassing Skip, so here's another 3/5, the match really wasn't all that bad and Horowitz's first PPV Win as well that's why I gave it a 3/5. Blayze/Faye: Moving on now, Alundra Blayze won the Women's Title the night after WrestleMania 11 over Bull Nakano after Bull beat her in November of 1994 to capture the Women's Championship. Alundra's match with Faye was not as good as Nakano. But this would be the last time the Women's Title would be defended at Summerslam until 1999 again. Faye would regain the Women's Championship over Blayze, the women unfortunately get a 2/5. Undertaker/Kama: Two super heavyweights and two fighters. Undertaker and Kama, the match came about when Dibiase had Kama take The Undertaker's urn against King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania 11 while The Undertaker recaptured it for a split second cause it was stolen at the 1995 Royal Rumble when Undertaker battled I.R.S. Taker without the help of the urn got support from his creatures of the night as they alongside The Undertaker were calling for Kama's death sentence. At the 1995 King of The Ring, Kama once again denied Undertaker victory when Undertaker took on King Mabel in the Quarterfinals with Kama interefering after Undertaker was close on putting Mabel away. Kama came in to kick The Undertaker in the face allowing Mabel to get the victory. Kama pushed the envelope much further when he attacked one of The Undertaker's creatures of the night and thus destroying his wreath. Kama would have to pay the price with Undertaker facing him in a Casket Match. Now this was a good match, not a bad match between these two. At one point in the match, the casket was destroyed. But the two still fought on with Undertaker winning this hard fought victory over Kama. The match gets another 3/5. Damn, even though this PPV Sucked. Every match is getting a 3/5 by me believe it or not. Bret/Yankem: Before Glen Jacobs was known as Kane, he would be known as Isaac Yankem DDS as he would be the dentist for Jerry Lawler. Lawler was going to get redemption on the Hitman because of what Bret did at the 1995 King of The Ring when he shoved his foot in Lawler's mouth and also shoved Lawler's own foot in his mouth as well. Yankem and Bret put on an okay match, although the match was 16 minutes. Both of them were all over the place, Bret won the match by DQ thanks to intereference from Lawler. The match unfortunately gets a 2/5. Glen Jacobs returned to Summerslam again 3 years later but this time as Kane. Shawn/Razor: If WrestleMania 10 was any indicator that Shawn and Razor would compete once again in a Ladder Match for the same title that tore the house down at Madison Square Garden at the tenth WrestleMania. This did not disappoint, there were highs in that match and pretty much a good one, Summerslam had it's shares of Intercontinental Championship Matches, but this one was not a disappointment. Shawn made sure that history wouldn't repeat itself as the Heartbreak Kid walked in at Summerslam 1995 with the Intercontinental Championship and walked out of Summerslam still as the Intercontinental Champion. This match was way similar to WrestleMania 10, and so this match gets a big 5/5. That was the only good match of the show next to Hakushi and The 123 Kid. Diesel/Mabel: I feel like this match should've been the next to last and Shawn vs Razor would've been the main event. That would've left Pittsburgh fans on a happier note. But they dragged this main event, a main event that honestly should've never existed. And it also saw the last appearance of Lex Luger in the WWF. Diesel was able to retain the WWF Title in this match, the main event believe it or not gets a 1/5. Summerslam 1995 was not good at all, but only the good matches I liked the most was Hakushi and The Kid, Undertaker and Kama and Michaels and Razor, WVP had to be Diesel vs Mabel. While the MVP was drumroll please? ?. (drumroll sound). Michaels and Razor MVP: Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon WVP: Diesel and Mabel. SUMMERSLAM 1996 - Gund Arena - Cleveland, OH - August 18, 1996 Before Summerslam 1996: The WWF was now deeply in trouble, Diesel and Razor Ramon known as Kevin Nash and Scott Hall would both leave the WWF to go to WCW and they would also have Hulk Hogan with them with the 3 former WWF guys forming the New World Order. Also, Lex Luger, Randy Savage and more others from the 80s era would also come to WCW as well. The WWF was starting to get a little more edgier and have more edgier rivalries in their favor with Shawn vs Vader and Undertaker vs Mankind, at WrestleMania 12, Shawn Michaels's boyhood dream came true when he defeated Bret Hart in a 60-Minute Ironman Match to win the WWF Championship. Michaels had defeated all challengers that came before him in Diesel and The British Bulldog and others, but Vader was the next guy on his list. Vader defeated Shawn at International Incident in a six-man tag team match. Also another feud that was way hardcore was The Undertaker and Mankind. On April 1, 1996. The Night after WrestleMania 12. Mankind made his debut to attack The Undertaker that led to a match between the two at the 1996 King of The Ring with Mankind winning the match after an accidental hit with Paul Bearer's urn. The two would end their feud in a Boiler Room Brawl Match. Austin/Yokozuna: Yes, I know this wasn't on the actual show, it was on the free for all. And Yokozuna's time in the ring had wound down as well and it pretty much showed when he took on the 1996 King of The Ring winner. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin was on the rise to begin his Austin 3:16 era after proclaiming it at the 1996 King of The Ring. And what better way for Austin to continue his Austin 3:16 rise was to defeat a much larger opponent in a former WWF Champion as Yokozuna. This match was not good by all means, the ending of the match showed why. Yokozuna went to do a banzai. But Austin rolled out of the way and one of the ring ropes collapsed as well cause of Yokozuna's weight giving Austin the victory. So a 1/5 for this. Owen/Savio: A great match that kicked off Summerslam between Owen and Savio. Owen of course wanted to steal another Summerslam Match against Savio, the match wasn't as bad as what it was. Owen gets the win by using his cast over Savio. The match gets a 3/5, not a bad start between these two as they really did good with one another, after the match. Bradshaw came down to attack Savio starting a rivalry between the two. The Smoking Gunns/The Rockers/The Godwinns/The Bodydonnas: No, Marty and Shawn didn't reunite on this night instead it was Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy who would be known as Al Snow teaming up with one another. Although it was an elimination match, this was a solid fatal-four way tag team match. The Tag Teams were produced very well in 1996 perfectly. The Gunns retained the titles, and this Tag Title Match gets a 3/5 as well. Sid/Bulldog: Two big men wrestling at a big event such as Summerslam, both men had not wrestled at a Summerslam. The Bulldog hadn't wrestled at a Summerslam since 1992, and Sid had not wrestled a Summerslam either, his only appearance was in 1991 though at Summerslam. So this was Sid's first match at Summerslam. The match was okay for what it was, But this was a good victory for Sid. Sid needed this win to knock off the former Intercontinental Champion, but the match unfortunately gets a 2/5. Goldust/Mero: Both Goldust and Mero had made their debuts in the WWF and they also had two beautiful hellcats with them. Goldust of course had Marlena as the two were married in real life and Marc Mero was with Sable as the two were also married in real life as well. This was a skilled entertaining match between these two gentlemen, Goldust needed some redemption after losing the Intercontinental Title over Ahmed Johnson at the 1996 King of The Ring. Goldust got the victory here although Mero was still stuck in midcard status, but Mero would get his victory back at Buried Alive when he successfully defended the Intercontinental Title against Goldust, another 3/5 between Goldust and Mero. Lawler/Roberts: Now this match was the stinker, because of Lawler making fun of Roberts's drinking habits back in the day as Roberts returned to the WWF in 1996. Roberts and Lawler were both peaking at their ages as well. Lawler was in his late 40s while Roberts was in his early 40s. So this match wasn't good at all. Lawler gets the win by hitting Roberts with some sort of bottle getting the win, after the match as Lawler attempted to pour liquor on Roberts's throat. Mark Henry made the save to attack Lawler, the match will get a second 2/5. Undertaker/Mankind: This is probably one of the best matches to ever exist, one of the greatest Hardcore Matches to ever happen in WWF History cause we all know Mick Foley was the king of Hardcore before coming to the WWF. He had come to ECW and New Japan wrestling in Hardcore Matches, and look up his match in August of 1995 against Terry Funk as well. These two put on a solid boiler room brawl encounter, trashcans, ladders, 2x4s. Everything they did with one another including the kitchen sink. The match would have to end with Undertaker or Mankind retrieving possession of the urn. After Taker beatdown Mankind on the outside of the ring. He returned to the ring and told Paul Bearer to give him the urn. But Bearer straight out refused and thus that allowed Mankind to take advantage of it and attack The Undertaker, but all of a sudden. Paul Bearer joined up with Mankind attacking The Undertaker ending a 5-year relationship between the two. Bearer after that struck Taker with the urn knocking Undertaker out for good giving Mankind the win. After Mankind & Bearer left backstage to celebrate with their new alliance. The lights went out as The Undertaker's druids came down to carry a unconscious Undertaker out of the arena. This match in all seriousness will receive a 4/5. Cause of the effort the two put on. A really good storytelling match, the betrayal also worked as well too, the aftermath of Undertaker being carried out was good as well. Vader/Shawn: Now to top out that epic next to last main event was the main event itself. Vader had now become the top bad guy of the World Wrestling Federation and what better way to prove it was to defeat Shawn Michaels and capture the WWF Championship. Vader was determined to end the boyhood dream. Michaels would try to take Vader down if it meant keeping the WWF Championship. Vader won the match, not once but twice. But Cornette demanded a restart. However Vader didn't win a third time as Michaels retained the WWF Title over the Mastadon, this match gets a 3/5. Although it would've worked to see a title change to see Vader becoming a dominant monster heel champion. Shawn had to keep his ego and his creative control. Summerslam 1996 was a better improvement than the Summerslam 1995 one, the MVP was Mankind vs Undertaker, but the worst would have to be Yokozuna cause of Yokozuna breaking the ropes. MVP: Mankind vs Undertaker WVP: Yokozuna SUMMERSLAM 1997 - August 3, 1997 - Continental Airlines Arena - East Rutherford, NJ Before Summerslam 1997: At the beginning and Middle of 1997, the Monday Night Wars were starting to get red hot. WWF was finally starting to make progress even though WCW Nitro was dominating WWF RAW at every turn in the ratings. But the WWF was starting to have some attitude by having Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin all of his #1 top guys. At the 1996 Survivor Series, Bret Hart returned to defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin, but by 1997 after Bret was not winning the Royal Rumble nor capturing the WWF Championship, he denounced United States and turned his back on the US Fans and thus forming a Stable with his brother Owen, his brother-in-law Davey Boy, and Jim Neidhart and Brian Pillman as well. Bret wanted to do whatever it takes to win back his fifth WWF Championship over The Undertaker that so and so he would leave the United States if he lost. Plus, however. Stone Cold Steve Austin was also on the hunt for Bret's brother Owen for the Intercontinental Championship as well. Mankind/Helmsley: Helmsley got off to a bad 1996 with him having trouble in the WWF Department after the KLIQ Incident on May 19, 1996. Helmsley would regain the Intercontinental Title later that year, but he would win the 1997 King of The Ring the next year and this was a good match between Helmsley and Mankind, a prelude for what would come in their Hardcore Matches in 1997 and 2000. But this was one was much brutal in the cage between these two men. Mankind challened his inner Jimmy Snuka by dropping the elbow off the cage and thus somehow getting the victory. In the first match of Summerslam, the match gets a 4/5. Because Mankind and Helmsley pulled off a solid match with each other. Goldust/Pillman: You could tell Pillman's days were winding down, As sadly this would be his next to last PPV match but Pillman was determined and still a little edgier, the stipulation stated that if Pillman lost the match, Pillman would be forced to wear a dress. And Goldust would see to it that it did as he defeated Pillman to get the win, the match will get a 2/5 because it didn't really click between these two. Pillman unfortunately would never see another Summerslam as he passed away on October 5, 1997. The LOD/The Godwinns: This was an okay and allright tag team match. The Legion of Doom's first Summerslam Match was in 1992 with a victory and they returned at Summerslam to get another victory over The Godwinns, and it was guaranteed, but the tag match will also get a 3/5 because they had great Tag Teams in 1997 as well. Not a bad tag team match between these two teams. Bulldog/Shamrock: This was a hard hitting powerful match in where the stipulation stated that if Bulldog lost, he would have to eat a can of dog food. The two didn't click very well although it was very powerful between the two. The European Championship was defended also for the first time at Summerslam cause of Bulldog capturing the European Title last March. Bulldog won the match by a DQ, Shamrock snapped and would attack Bulldog after the match, but the match will have a 2/5. Los Boricuas/DOA: This match was billed as a war of attraction between The Los Boricuas and DOA. As Crush and Savio Vega were both kicked out of the Nation of Domination. In 1997, the WWF began to attract more stables in their industry with The Hart Foundation, the Nation of Domination and the Los Boricuas and The DOA. The match was okay for what it was, but it wasn't all that perfect as the Boricuas picked up the victory, the match gets a 3/5. Austin/Owen: We go into the meat of the Double Main Event, first the Intercontinental Championship between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Owen Hart. The Intercontinental Title at Summerslam has provided greatest moments but on this night it proved to be true. Austin and Owen put on one heck of a great match, but in the closing moments of the match. Owen reversed a move by Austin with Owen reversing the move and using the Tombstone Piledriver a version The Undertaker would use, but Owen's tombstone would legimitately temporarily paralyze Austin for a few seconds. The WWF was gaining ground and it would be a huge blow not to have Austin in there if he was paralyzed for good. But Austin was somehow able to use the strength and the stipulations also stated that if Austin did lose, Austin would have to kiss Owen's ass. Austin somehow used the strength but performed the worst roll up ever over Owen Hart winning the Intercontinental Title. Austin and Owen wouldn't see eye to eye although they wrestled in matches together, they never discussed the Tombstone Incident, Sadly. They would not be able to talk about it with Owen passing away due to a freak accident in Kansas City on May 23, 1999. The incident would make Austin stronger as he would get back on his feet and win many WWF Championships and plus 3 Royal Rumble wins. The match gets a 4/5. I would've given it a 3/5. But the 4/5 is the resilency for Austin fighting through the pain. Undertaker/Hart: These two have had great rivalries, their first PPV Match was at the 1990 Survivor Series when The Undertaker debuted in the traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, and at the 1996 Royal Rumble for the WWF Championship in which it was a great match. Undertaker and Hart both had so much riding in this match, even guest referee Shawn Michaels. Bret would leave the WWF if he had lost, and Undertaker was dealing with the shock of his brother Kane being alive, the brother who he thought perished in a fire with his mother and father at the same time. This match was one hell of a great match between Undertaker and Bret Hart, although there was intereference from Paul Bearer, Owen Hart, British Bulldog and Brian Pillman. But Taker and Hart were able to keep the pace of the momentum going. But towards the end of the match. Hart hit Undertaker with a chair and Michaels noticed it threatening to disqualify Hart as Michaels and Hart had words. Michaels attempted to strike Hart with a chair shot but Hart ducked it and Michaels accidentally hit The Undertaker giving Hart his fifth WWF Championship win with Michaels being forced to count, this was one of Hart's best matches in his last Summerslam Match and even in The Undertaker's best Summerslam Match as well like last year against Mankind. Bret would not wrestle at a Summerslam again cause of the Montreal Incident 3 months ago on November 9, 1997 at Survivor Series against Michaels. Bret wrestled again at Summerslam in 2010. But this signaled the start of the Attitude Era with Michaels turning heel, the match will get a 5/5 cause of the two working pretty well together, the ending with the HBK Heel Turn was also great. But Bret and Undertaker told a story in that match. Summerslam 1997 was a big improvement like last year, they had some pretty good matches, the MVPs had to be Austin and Owen, Undertaker and Bret and Mankind for jumping off the cage. The WVPs would have to be Bulldog vs Shamrock. MVPs: Stone Cold Steve Austin, Owen Hart, The Undertaker, Bret Hart and Mankind WVPs: British Bulldog and Ken Shamrock

I'm thinking about a New Diary guys, I haven't posted more on my WWF Diary from 1993 through 1997 than I used to cause Family Stuff has taken me away, My Sister passed away last June. But i'm thinking of going back to the diaries again and making it a new diary. I will resume my WWF Diary again. But I'm thinking of something new for a while until I resume the diary again.

Hello, I would like to Review to you all the Summerslams in it's entirety, I will go over the matches and talk about them one by one. Summerslam 1988 - August 29, 1988 - New York City - Madison Square Garden What other place would you want to kick off an inaugural Summerslam?, well that's simple the home of the WWE and always will be the home of Madison Square Garden. Now Madison Square Garden has been the mecca of the WWE. It was held with infamous moments with Jimmy Snuka performing the infamous superfly splash on Don Muraco in their Intercontinental Championship Bloody Steel Cage Match, the birth of Hulkamania when he beat the Iron Sheik to capture his first WWE Championship, and the inaugural WrestleMania 1 as well. The WWF was now in control of the wrestling promotions beating WCCW, AWA and WCW. WCCW was almost one step towards the grave while AWA on the other hand was slowly dying and WCW was still thriving. Business as usual picked up for the World Wrestling Federation, with 4 successful WrestleManias, and the debut of the 1987 Survivor Series and also the 1988 Royal Rumble. The Company wanted to add another Big 4, and that was Summerslam. And what better way to hold it in Madison Square Garden. Before Summerslam 1988: Before Summerslam had begun, Hulk Hogan was the longest reigning WWF Champion for four years nearly close to surpassing Bruno Sammartino's 1963 to 1971 record ever. But in February, Hogan dropped the title to Andre The Giant who was working with Ted Dibiase. Andre handed over the belt to Dibiase but Jack Tunney didn't see it differently enough and thus for the first time in WWF History, the WWF Championship was vacated. At WrestleMania 4, The Macho Man Randy Savage who had been Intercontinental Champion from 1986 through WrestleMania 3 in 1987 was now getting his time to shine, and at WrestleMania 4. His time came when he won the 16-Man Tournament lasting through Butch Reed, Greg Valentine, The One Man Gang and Ted Dibiase in the finals with Hulk Hogan by his side and Andre by Dibiase's side. The Mega Powers had formed in October of 1987 when Hogan saved Savage from an attack by the Hart Foundation and The Honky Tonk Man. Andre and Dibiase would have unfinished business with Savage with Hogan taking time off to make a movie "No Holds Barred" that was slated for a 1989 release. Hogan returned as the partner for Randy Savage at Summerslam 1988 setting up the Tag Team Match with Jesse Ventura as the Guest Referee. Also at Summerslam 1988, the WWF Fans were scheduled to see a WrestleMania 4 rematch between Brutus Beefcake and Honky Tonk Man for the Intercontinental Championship, but due to an unfortunate attack by Outlaw Ron Bass against The Beefcake. Beefcake was unable to compete so the Honky Tonk Man had to face a mystery opponent for the title. Summerslam 1988 Results: The show kicked off with Gorilla Monsoon and Billy Graham filling in for Jesse Ventura, this was Superstar Billy Graham's last WWF Appearance until 2004 when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame which was now WWE. Bulldogs/Rougeau Brothers: At one time or another, the Rougeau Brothers were the fan favorites as they waved around Small Canadian Flags to the crowd. But the Rougeaus in the middle of 1988 eventually turned heel and joined up with Jimmy Hart who was dumped by The Hart Foundation in that same year after Bret became a babyface by the end of WrestleMania 4, this was an opening tag team match and although both teams had momentum to start it out with, this was good for what it was, although neither teams could not win, this match to me stood out as a 3/5, But Summerslam 1988's opening match did not have a winner. What a shame, The Bulldogs however would leave the WWF in the Fall of 1988 only for The Bulldog to return to the WWF by himself at the end of 1990 without the Dynamite Kid as the Kid stayed in promotions until his retirement in 1996 in where he had Health Problems, Dynamite would succumb to the problems on December 5, 2018. It is also said in the year of 1988, The Rougeaus had a grudge with the Dynamite Kid in real life as well. Bad News Brown/Patera: I'll be honest, this match stunk I have no disrespect to Bad News Brown and Ken Patera, who was a former Intercontinental Champion, a man who became a weightlifter by the start of the 1970s and started his wrestling career in 1973 in where he became the second man to capture the Intercontinental Championship over Pat Patterson on April 21, 1980 at the same building, Patera though did have some issues, on April 6, 1984. He and fellow friend Masa Saito had a fallout at McDonalds which led to Patera throwing a rock through a window and also attacking police officers as well. Patera was sentenced to 2 years in prison on August of 1985 after the incident. Patera returned to the WWF in 1987 as a fan favorite and although being in the 1987 Survivor Series Main Event, the damage was done for Patera still. As for Bad News Brown, he had a brief stint with the WWF, but returned in the winter of 1988 and his big break of that year was winning the WrestleMania 4 Battle Royal. This was Bad News Brown's push. He had to go over in this match so he could receive a storyline feud with Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan as well, after. Patera stuck around in the WWF for a while until the 1988 Survivor Series, and Bad News Brown's rise continued to go up until it declined by the middle of 1990 and he left the WWF. So 2/5 on this one Rude/JYD: Another match that was very surprising to me, Rick Rude vs The Junkyard Dog, Rude still had his personal problems with Jake Roberts in where Rude revealed a second pair of tights that had Roberts's wife. Roberts was mad and stripped Rude of the tights leaving him completely naked. Honestly, this match should've been him and Roberts, not JYD, no disrespect. Junkyard Dog's time was also at hand in the WWF, by the middle of 1987, The Junkyard Dog's push started to decline after losing against Harley Race at WrestleMania 3, but did make the Inaugural Royal Rumble Match at #20 and was the next to last person eliminated at WrestleMania 4. At one point in the match, Rude did another ultimate humilation on Jake The Snake Roberts to reveal another set of tights which was Cheryl Roberts again, Jake ran down to the ring and attacked Rude giving a DQ win for the Ravishing One. The match was okay, but it didn't click what so ever. Unfortunately, this would be the Junkyard Dog's last PPV Appearance and the last time we would ever see him on WWF TV, Junkyard Dog would continue to wrestle for some other promotions in the early through Mid 1990s until his death at the age of 45 in June of 1998 as he was returning home from his daughter's graduation. JYD was inducted posthumously in the Hall of Fame in 2004. As for the Ravishing One, he went on to stay with the WWF for 2 more years until leaving in 1990. Rude continued to wrestle also for WCW until he was forced to retire in 1994 after a match against Sting. Rude did return to the WWF in 1997 managing Shawn Michaels and Triple H. And also making history on November 17, 1997 by appearing on both shows RAW & Nitro at the height of the Monday Night Wars Era. But Rude died in 1999 of a Heart Attack, Rude also was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. This one to me is another 2/5 The Bolsheviks/Powers of Pain: Unlike The Bulldogs vs The Rougeaus, this match kinda was okay, it just wasn't all that perfect. The Powers of Pain had came to the WWF by the summer of 1988 and wanted to make a mark on the Tag Team Division. The Powers of Pain won this match to set up their rivalry against Demolition which lasted from 1988 throughout 1989 with The Powers of Pain turning heel at the 1988 Survivor Series and joining Mr. Fuji and Demolition going into faces. The match is another 2/5 for me Warrior/Honky Tonk Man: Now The Ultimate Warrior's rise to the top of the WWF by late 1987 was an explosion waiting to happen, The Warrior had been very successful at the height of his rookie career, Meanwhile. The Honky Tonk Man held on to the Intercontinental Championship for a number of 454 days since winning the title in June of 1987 breaking Randy Savage's record and is still the longest Intercontinental Championship record of all time, Brutus Beefcake was supposed to challenge for the Intercontinental Title but due to an attack by Outlaw Ron Bass. Beefcake was in no condition to compete. The Honky Tonk ran his mouth about the challenge, but little did he know. The Ultimate Warrior was ready for him, Warrior charged to the ring and without even breaking a sweat defeated The Honky Tonk Man in 31 seconds to capture his first Intercontinental Championship. I know this match was shorter, but I am giving this a 4/5 cause of Warrior's big moment. Bravo/Muraco: Like Patera and The Junkyard Dog, Muraco was also on borrowed time as well despite winning the Intercontinental Championship in 1983 and having some great feuds with Jimmy Snuka and also Hulk Hogan as well. Muraco was finally appreciated by the WWF fans in 1987 by becoming a fan favorite, This was a rematch from WrestleMania 4 with Muraco defeating Bravo by DQ in a WWF Championship First Round Tournament Match. Bravo had a great 1988 as well by setting the World's Largest Record for Bench Pressing at the 1988 Royal Rumble after a tag team career in 1987. Bravo's push continues here as he defeats Muraco with help from Frenchy Martin. This would be Muraco's final WWF Appearance until the 2004 Hall of Fame when he was inducted in the WWE alongside Junkyard Dog and Billy Graham. Another thing to note, Muraco was managed by Billy Graham by 1987 through 1988. Muraco continued to wrestle in more wrestling promotions even competing for ECW in 1992 and capturing the ECW Championship on September 30 of that year and also on April 3, 1993 until he was retired in 1995. The match was okay, But I have to give this a 2/5. Demolition/Hart Foundation: The Tag Team Matches continued to come on as Demolition and Hart Foundation were next as they faced off for the WWF Tag Team Championship. Demolition had regained the titles at WrestleMania 4 in March defeating Strike Force, and they wanted to continue their dominant Tag Team Title Reign against perhaps the greatest Tag Team by the late 1980s, The Hart Foundation. Bret and Jim were the heels at the time when they came to the WWF, but as I mentioned at WrestleMania 4. The Hart Foundation increased into a babyface with Bret Hart destroying Bad News Brown's Trophy. And also not only that, they dumped Jimmy Hart as a manager. This was not a bad tag team match, The Harts were in control and in fire of this match. In the middle of the match, Mr. Fuji's cane was destroyed as well. Jimmy Hart also came down and helped Demolition cheat with Ax using a megaphone to win the match, this Tag Team Match was a 3/5, So there's your first 3/5 of the night. Demolition went on to continue facing more tag teams for the championships in 1988 and 1989 and even becoming faces as well. Bossman/Koko: Big Bossman made his debut in the Summer of 1988 and started an undefeated streak, the former corrections officer from Cobb County, GA. Before he was known as The Big Bossman, he was known as Big Bubba Rogers in the NWA from 1985 throughout 1987. Bossman dominated this match, Koko did everything at one point even keeping The Bossman down by hitting a few dropkicks but in the end it was The Bossman that got the victory and continue his dominance over everybody and starting a feud with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. This match gets a 1/5, the first 1/5 of the night as well. And this was Koko's first and only Summerslam Appearance, he was then shown the door in 1989. But came back to the WWF a few months later in where of course he was the jobber to the stars and also being involved in the 1990 Survivor Series with Koko being eliminated by The Undertaker. And also being squashed by Yokozuna in the first edition of Monday Night RAW on January 11, 1993. Koko would leave the WWF in 1994 but would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 because of how popular he was with his Piledriver Song back in 1987. Roberts/Hercules: We move on from the second to last match of the night with Bobby Heenan's next protege Hercules taking on The Snakeman Jake Roberts, Roberts was seen earlier in the night getting payback on the Ravishing One after Roberts attempted to strip Rude again of his tights. Hercules's time with Heenan was almost at an end as well, but did have some good momentum in the match, but the DDT would put an end to Hercules, the match however for me gets a 2/5. After this, Hercules would turn into a babyface after he refused to be Ted Dibiase's slave, and Roberts would move on to feud with Rick Rude at the end of 1988. Hogan/Savage vs Andre/Dibiase: And to finish things off was the main event, of course Jesse Ventura was the guest referee of this inaugural main event at Summerslam 1988. Hogan and Savage of course had some good chemistry as a tag team, Andre and Dibiase would do anything they can to buy off a victory, but the real shocker of the match was the ending when Elizabeth ripped off her skirt revealing her panties to Ventura, Ventura was bewildered as Savage and Hogan won the match with Savage forcing Ventura to count to three. This also gets a 3/5 with Miss Elizabeth having her moment as well. This would set up a tease to the Mega Powers Tension from the Fall of 1988 through the Spring of 1989. The Show was okay, So I give this a 6/10, lots of issues i've had. Although we almost saw Ric Flair pop up in the WWF to probably feud with Randy Savage by 1988 and 1989, it would've been better had we seen Flair vs Savage instead of Hogan vs Savage, As for the Ultimate Warrior and Miss Elizabeth's moments. They were probably the MVPs of the Entire Night. MVPs: Ultimate Warrior and Miss Elizabeth upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/92/SummerSlam_1989.jpgWWF SUMMERSLAM - August 28, 1989 - Meadowlands Arena - East Rutherford, NJ Before Summerslam 1989: The First Summerslam may have been a successful one, but by the end of 1988 and the start of 1989. New Feuds were developing including the red hot feuds between Hogan/Savage and Warrior/Rude, Hogan captured his second WWF Championship over Randy Savage ending Savage's reign as WWF Champion. Savage would also dump Miss Elizabeth and have Sensational Sherri as his manager. But that wasn't the only thing that stopped the Macho Man as Savage had brought in actor Tom Lister as the villain Zeus with Hogan feuding with Zeus in the movie "No Holds Barred" and also Hogan breaking Zeus's nose in real life. On May 27, 1989. Zeus made his debut to attack Hogan just before Hogan was scheduled to face The Big Bossman in a Steel Cage Match for the WWF Championship. Zeus would also attack Hogan's friend Brutus Beefcake setting up the tag team main event match between Beefcake and Hogan against Zeus and Savage, also the feud between Rude and Warrior would continue on with them starting their feud at the 1989 Royal Rumble in the Super Posedown with Rude attacking Warrior with a workout bar and also regaining the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 5. Your Commentators for the event was Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura, Yes. That Tony Schiavone who now commentates in AEW. After Schiavone left the WWF. He commentated for WCW and also commentated for infamous moments in WCW, even on July 7, 1996 when he told Hulk Hogan to go to hell after he was shocked that Hogan betrayed Savage and Sting to join the nWo. Brainbusters/Hart Foundation: This was the first match of Summerslam 1989, The Brainbusters were the WWF Tag Team Champions as they defeated Demolition, this match was a non-title match, The Brainbusters won the titles before they were set to face The Hart Foundation, of course Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard who were a part of the Original Four Horsemen before coming to the WWF in 1988. They were both managed by Bobby Heenan, The Hart Foundation and The Brainbusters clicked at it with one another in this match, and this was an intense battle, but in the end it was The Brainbusters that got the victory with help from Heenan. The match clocked in at 16 minutes so I will give this match a 3/5, not a bad way to kick off Summerslam 1989 with a good rating. Unfortunately, we would not see Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard again as they dropped the titles to Demolition and Arn would return to WCW in 1990 while Tully Blanchard was released for testing positive for cocaine. Arn called it a career in 1997 while Tully continued to wrestle himself until retiring in 2007, Tully and Arn both are currently in AEW. Rhodes/HTM: The American Dream had come to the WWF BABY, IF YOU WILL! After spending time in the Jim Crockett Promotions having one of the greatest 80s feuds with The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Rhodes was fired at Starrcade 1988 and made his way to the WWF in 1989, Honky Tonk Man was determined to get his revenge for what happened last year when he lost the Intercontinental Championship against the Ultimate Warrior, and what a way to do that by facing the greatest star of the 80s, Dusty Rhodes. But in the end it was Rhodes that got the win, the match was a 2/5. Although Rhodes has been in favorite 5/5 matches, this was a 2/5. Honky Tonk Man would not wrestle at Summerslam as his time started to decline in the WWF before leaving the WWF at the end of 1990. Perfect/Rooster: Mr. Perfect continued his undefeated talent in the World Wrestling Federation, The Red Rooster on the other hand after leaving Bobby Heenan in the start of 1989 went down the drain despite a win over Heenan at WrestleMania 5, the Red Rooster would be moved up to the jobber of the stars, but still this was a fantastic match between Perfect and Rooster. However Rooster injured his leg allowing Perfect to win, the match could've been a 3/5, but instead it gets a 2/5 with Rooster getting injured. But still Rooster & Perfect performed very well despite Rooster being injured. Martel & The Rougeaus/Santana & The Rockers: By 1987, Strike Force were now the new tag team but after losing the Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 4, they started going to singles runs until reuniting as a team by the spring of 1989. But an accidental mistake at WrestleMania 5 broke up Strike Force for good with Martel walking out on his tag team partner Tito Santana and becoming a heel also performing a new gimmick as The Model. Santana wanted revenge against Martel, but the match wasn't a one on one match although I wish this could've been, but The Rougeaus and The Rockers were thrown in, incase one of you know one half of the Rockers is Shawn Michaels. This was not a bad 6-Man Tag Team Match by all means, But intereference from Jimmy Hart gave Martel's team the victory, the match I'm going to say a 3/5 because you had good talent in there like Martel, Santana and Shawn Michaels as well. Rude/Warrior: The rematch from WrestleMania 5 and the very same event in where The Warrior captured the Intercontinental Championship last year against The Honky Tonk Man. He would have to do it once again, Warrior and Rude put on a good classic, it even involved Roddy Piper in the match with Piper distracting Rude enough for the Warrior to win the match and his second Intercontinental Championship, these two told a story out there so there's a 4/5 for both Rude & Warrior. Duggan & Demolition/Andre and The Twin Towers: Six big heavyweights in one ring, this was not by all means a good match. We all knew Andre's health was starting to decline some, Andre's wrestling days was starting to be on borrowed time as well, so this was an easy, peasy 7-minute tag team match with Duggan and Demolition getting the win, And unfortunately this would be Andre's last Summerslam Match, although Andre did make a Summerslam Appearance in 1991 like he did in his final WWF Appearances until his death in 1993. The match gets a 1/5. Valentine/Hercules: Rugged Ronnie Garvin was the guest ring announcer for the match as Garvin had issues with Valentine. Hercules's face run started to peak a little bit after breaking away from The Heenan Family in 1988. This was also Valentine's first match at Summerslam as well, Valentine got the win by using his feet on the ropes but Garvin refused to acknowledge Valentine as the winner although he still won the match, so here's another 1/5. Dibiase/Snuka: Snuka returned to the WWF after leaving the company in 1985 and wanted to prove that he still had it against the younger talent. Dibiase was the Million Dollar Champion in this match, Snuka showed off his skills like he had in the early 80s, but Dibiase would defeat Snuka by countout. After the Match, Snuka got a bit of redemption against Dibiase and Virgil. The Match has to be a 2/5. This was Snuka's only Summerslam Match, so he didn't wrestle another Summerslam in 1990 and 1991. Snuka still stuck around with the company until leaving for the WWF in 1992, but he returned to the WWF in 1996 as a member in the WWF Hall of Fame. Hogan/Beefcake vs Savage/Zeus: What a difference a year can make, at the first Summerslam. Hogan & Savage teamed up with each other, but they had become rivals by the start of 1989 and now they were enemies in the second Summerslam. Hogan and Beefcake of course was managed by the lovely Miss Elizabeth and Savage and Zeus was managed by Sensational or as Beefcake would like to say "Scary Sherri". God I hope Sherri doesn't rise from the grave and see this lol. This was an okay tag team match not similar to the Inaugural Tag Team Match, but it had its moments. Savage and Hogan of course continued to perform well, Zeus was all over the place being the difference maker in the match. Hogan and Beefcake would get the victory with Hogan hitting Zeus with Miss Elizabeth's loaded purse and thus getting the win, although Savage and Hogan performed well together in the match, the match for me is a 2/5, I'm sorry but the Main Event has received a 2/5. This Summerslam was a little okay than Summerslam 1988, the WWF Championship should've been on the line, but as far as the other tag team matches, the opening match was redhot, the tag team match was meh, okay. The Ultimate Warrior regaining the Intercontinental Championship was a nice touch so he gets another MVP. Also Rugged Ronnie Garvin gets the first Worst Valuable Player. MVP: The Ultimate Warrior WVP: Rugged Ronnie Garvin for awarding Hercules the match. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/13/SummerSlam_1990.jpg/220px-SummerSlam_1990.jpgSUMMERSLAM - August 27, 1990 - The Spectrum - Philadelphia, PA Before Summerslam 1990: The 1980s was at an end, meaning that the 1980s WWF Stars were now coming into the 1990s with a bang, at WrestleMania 6, The Ultimate Warrior's rise continued to go up and up, he defeated the top guy Hulk Hogan on April 1, 1990 to regain the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Warrior would retain the WWF Championship against great talent, he would however rekindle an old rivalry that had beaten him for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 5, Rick Rude. Rude would however try to get a measure of redemption for what happened at Summerslam 1989 when Warrior beat him for the Intercontinental Title. The match would be in a Steel Cage Match. With Hulk Hogan no longer the WWF Champion, Hogan still wanted to fight to get back to the top, Hogan had to deal with a problem, and that was Earthquake, Earthquake had dominated the WWF when he arrived in 1989, On May 26, 1990. Earthquake injured Hulkamania. But Hogan would return to face Earthquake in one on one competition at Summerslam, Brutus Beefcake was also supposed to face Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental Championship, but Beefcake was injured on July 4 in a freak parasailing accident. Kerry Von Erich, former WCCW Competitor would go on to replace Brutus Beefcake. Power and Glory/The Rockers: For the third straight time, Summerslam kicked off once more with a Tag Team Match. This match came about when Hercules once again turned heel and Paul Roma who was a beloved babyface also turned heel as well. The match started with Hercules and Roma attacking Michaels and Hercules hitting Michaels in the knee with a chain. This forced Marty Jannetty to go it alone, Jannetty did make a comeback against Power & Glory, but it just wasn't enough as Power & Glory got the victory, unfortunately, this match gets a 1/5. Not a good way to kick off the 90s of Summerslam. Tornado/Perfect: For 2 times at Summerslam, the Intercontinental Championship had changed hands. Perfect was supposed to take on Beefcake for the Intercontinental Title but Beefcake was injured on Independence Day 1990, Kerry Von Erich, a former WCCW & NWA Champion had made his debut in the WWF after WCCW had closed its business in 1989 changing to USWA. Erich would win his first WWF Championship in this match by defeating Perfect, although the match was quick, Perfect and Erich did click and this match gets a 3/5 rating with Kerry winning his first and only singles title. Kerry did hang on to the title for four months until dropping it in December. Sherri/Sapphire: The match never even took place because of Sapphire not showing up, so with Sherri winning by forfeit, I'm calling this a DUD. Santana/Warlord: Santana finally got a singles match at a Summerslam as he faced The Warlord, this was not bad, albeit it could've been better, The Warlord got the victory over Santana, the match gets the first 2/5. Demolition/Hart Foundation: And we are back in 1988 once again with The Hart Foundation and Demolition for the Tag Team Championship, but this time it's 2 out of 3 Falls. This time not the Original Demolition, Smash was in the match, but Ax wasn't due to a health issue. Crush would be Ax's replacement, Demolition and Hart Foundation really clicked well in the match. The First Fall was awarded to Demolition, but in the second fall. Demolition got disqualified leading to the third fall, in the third fall. The Hart Foundation would win the Tag Team Titles with a little help from The Legion of Doom who had finally arrived in the World Wrestling Federation. This unfortunately was The Hart Foundation's final run as Tag Team Champions as they lost the titles to the Nasty Boys in 1991 and was forced to start a singles run, the match however gets a 3/5 similar to 1988. Roberts/Brown: Now Bad News Brown wanted to counteract Jake Roberts by using 200 harlem rats against Jake Roberts's snake. The Big Bossman was the referee in the match, but this was the strangest match of Summerslam History. Bossman also had to pull double duty too, not only referee the match but manage Hulk Hogan in his match against Earthquake to counteract Dino Bravo. Roberts won the match by DQ with Bad News using a chair and also attempting to attack Roberts's snake but The Bossman stopped him from doing so, so What's the verdict, how about another 1/5. After this, Bad News Brown never wrestled at a WWF PPV again as he left the federation in 1990. This was however Roberts's last Summerslam Match until 1996. Brother Love with Sgt. Slaughter: No Comment Duggan & Volkoff/The Orient Express: It's very unusual to see Duggan and Volkoff team up seeing as they are both from different countries. Duggan is from USA and Volkoff is from Lithuania. Volkoff began a babyface turn after Lithuania declared its independence from The Soviet Union in the spring of the year, Volkoff did turn babyface. Duggan and Volkoff won against The Orient Express in an easy and peasy quick match. The match gets a 2/5. Rhodes/Savage: Ohhh boy I don't know where to start with this match, can we say this wasn't really a match at all. As this got underway, Sapphire who was missing finally made her appearance, but it wasn't with Dusty Rhodes, as Rhodes was in the ring. Ted Dibiase came out and announced that Sapphire was purchased by The Million Dollar Man. Rhodes was distracted by it that he was attacked by Savage, despite Rhodes gaining a little bit of offense. The heartbreak was just too much for the American Dream as Savage picked up the victory. There's another 1/5 for this. Rhodes would feud with Dibiase before leaving the WWF and returning to WCW in 1991. As for Sapphire, she would not be seen after this PPV as she retired and passed away in 1996. Hogan/Earthquake: This match was not featured in the main event what so ever, this match wasn't as good as all the Summerslam Matches Hogan has had. But it had its moments, Earthquake was proven to be more dominant but of course Hulkamania rose from the dead and mounted a comeback against Earthquake bodyslamming him not once but twice as Hogan slammed him through the table winning the match by countout, the first Double Main Event gets a 2/5. So Hogan once again in a Summerslam Match gets another 2/5, Sorry Hulk not Sorry!. Warrior/Rude: Now this is a way you close out Summerslam, a Steel Cage Match for the WWF Championship, Warrior and Rude. Rude and Warrior put on once again in another instant classic although the match was not like 15-20 minutes like you would see in other steel cage matches. Warrior got the victory by defeating Rude and thus retaining the WWF Championship. And so the Main Event gets a 4/5. After this, Rude would leave the WWF before he was set to feud with The Big Bossman as he and Heenan had berated The Bossman's mother. Summerslam 1990 was not all that bad nor all that good, but the highlights would have to be Kerry Von Erich winning the Intercontinental Title, plus. The Hart Foundation capturing the Tag Team Titles and The Ultimate Warrior retaining the WWF Championship. So Texas Tornado/The Hart Foundation/Warrior and Rude all get a MVP. The WVP has definitely gotta be The Opening Match and the whole Sapphire/Rhodes/Dibiase thing MVP: The Hart Foundation, Texas Tornado, Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude and The Ultimate Warrior WVP: Sapphire, Dusty Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, The Rockers, Power and Glory. SUMMERSLAM - August 26, 1991 - Madison Square Garden - New York, NY upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/df/SummerSlam_1991.jpg/220px-SummerSlam_1991.jpgBefore Summerslam 1991: Once again Summerslam played host to Madison Square Garden for the second time. There was some hot storylines featuring the 2 on 3 Handicap Match with Hogan and Warrior against Slaughter's crew, The Intercontinental Championship Match between Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect, the loser goes to jail match between The Bossman and The Mountie, and the wedding between Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Bulldog/Steamboat/Tornado vs Power and Glory/Warlord: Both Bulldog and Steamboat had made their returns to the WWF ever since leaving the company in 1988. This was Steamboat's first and only Summerslam Appearance. Yes, Summerslam kicked off with another tag team match, but it was 3 on 3 rather than 2 on 2. Bulldog, Steamboat and Tornado all got the victory, the match gets a 3/5 because although there could've been a few glitches here or there, but it worked. Steamboat would leave the WWF again to head to WCW, as for Texas Tornado. This would be the last Summerslam Appearance he ever had as he left the WWF in 1992 and unfortunately we would lose him in 1993 due to suicide. Hart/Perfect: Now this is the match that you have to see, it really told a story. Hart was no longer a Tag Team Competitor after he and Neidhart split up to lose the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 7 against The Nasty Boys. Perfect had been Intercontinental Champion since December of 1990 for the second time. Perfect was also dealing with some injury issues as well, but by god. Perfect and Hart fought hard with one another, Hart also kicked out of the Perfectplex in that match, but With Hart and Perfect both down. Hart got to his feet and applied the sharpshooter on Perfect. Perfect had no choice but to tap out with Hart winning his first singles title, so guess what for the first Summerslam Review. This match for the Intercontinental Title gets a big 5 out of 5. Perfect would not wrestle again that year as he managed Ric Flair until returning back to the ring at the 1992 Survivor Series. The Natural Disasters/The Bushwhackers: Now we go from good to bad because Earthquake and Typhoon were big monsters and this proved it to the Bushwhackers. The Bushwhackers could not defeat the Disasters, The Disasters squashed them, The Bushwhackers did have Andre The Giant in their corner but that was not enough to keep them down. Earthquake was also feuding with Andre at the time because Earthquake injured Andre's leg after Andre refused to join Earthquake and Jimmy Hart and Tugboat who was the face at the time and had issues with Earthquake in 1990 would join up with Earthquake and they would be billed as the Natural Disasters, after they attempted to attack Andre. The Legion of Doom countered their attack on Andre, the match for me is a 1/5. Virgil/Dibiase: This was the second time that the Million Dollar Title was defended at a PPV because the first time that it was defended was at WrestleMania 6 when Roberts and Dibiase faced off for the title. The match came about when Virgil turned on Dibiase at the 1991 Royal Rumble and the two fought at WrestleMania 7 for that title but it was Virgil that won the match by countout. Dibiase would have Sensational Sherri in his corner after Sherri attacked Savage at WrestleMania after Savage lost his match against The Ultimate Warrior, Virgil would have Roddy Piper in his corner as well. Virgil eventually won the match and the Million Dollar Title. I'm giving this a 3/5, the match wasn't bad but not good, but The reason why is because Virgil got a huge victory for this. Bossman/Mountie: This was not your typical match, this was where the loser had to spend the night in jail, Bossman who was a corrupt cop had became a babyface by the start of 1990, the Mountie was also introduced to the Federation, before he was The Mountie, he was one half of the Rougeau Brothers. The Mountie was a canadian cop who was also corrupt like The Big Bossman, Mountie and Bossman's rivalry started off with the Mountie and The Nasty Boys attacking The Bossman with Mountie using the shock stick to the Bossman. Bossman and Mountie did put on a great match I will say that, their talent really clicked, Bossman did win the match, Like I said their talent really clicked so much that i'm giving them another 3/5. The Aftermatch stuff was pretty funny by the way with The Mountie in prison and having of course a male lover come up to him as well. Pretty fun, I hope Mountie didn't drop the soap while he was there. The Bossman/Mountie feud winded down in late 1991. The Mountie and The Big Bossman did stay around in the Golden Era for a while until Bossman left the WWF in 1993 and Mountie left the WWF in 1992 but before leaving the WWF and repackaging himself as one half of the Quebecers. He did capture the Intercontinental Championship over Bret Hart in January of 1992 at a House Show. LOD/Nasty Boys: It was a bad to worse night from Jimmy Hart, the Natural Disasters were able to pick one win for him. But it was pretty obvious that his guys were falling down and this showed when The Legion of Doom regained the WWF Tag Team Championship for the first time in their career, the match gets another 3/5 cause of The Legion of Doom capturing the titles. IRS/Valentine: Valentine was one of the final guys that was nearing his peak, He'd been the Intercontinental Champion in 1985. But couldn't accomplish the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship at all. IRS made his debut at Summerslam and wanted to make a name for himself by defeating The Hammer and with that he did, the match gets a 2/5, the first 2/5. Hogan/Warrior vs Slaughter's Team: This match spelled the end of Ultimate Warrior's first WWF Run because The Ultimate Warrior had threatened Vince McMahon prior to that match threatening to no show the event unless he was given $550,000. Also, Warrior was dealing with a feud with Jake Roberts and The Undertaker as well. Warrior also threatened Vince and held him hostage with a gun apparently. The match went off without a hitch however with Sid Justice as the referee and Hogan and Warrior winning the match. But you could tell The Warrior was not going to celebrate with Hogan because when you saw The Warrior chase Sheik and Adnan with a chair. You could tell that was it, the match though gets another 2/5. Hogan would not have another match at Summerslam and he hasn't had one Summerslam Match in 30 years and he shouldn't given his age. Hogan still wants to go and prove that he still has it. But Hogan's 68 so he can't wrestle. The guy was good in the 1980s and 1990s until he peaked in the 2000s. Hogan continued to stay on with the company winning 2 more WWF Championships and left the WWF in 1993 to head to WCW in 1994 in where he formed the nWo turning him heel in 1996. Hogan returned to the WWE in 2002 but did not wrestle at Summerslam. Hogan I think did make an appearance at Summerslam in 2014. Marking his first appearance in 23 years. As for the Warrior, he would return to the WWF in 1992 later that year. And as far as the Slaughter gimmick went, that was gone as well and Slaughter returned to the USA as a fan favorite as well. Savage/Elizabeth Wedding: This Wedding was everything it needed, but given the real life situation between Savage and Elizabeth with Savage being narcisstic to Elizabeth and all the other BS like that, But this Wedding was sweet for both Savage and Elizabeth, although they did get married in real life in 1984. But this was something everyone on WWF TV wanted to see, Savage and Elizabeth reunite and get married, I don't rate non matches. So I will give this rating a 4/5. After the wedding came the reception in where The Undertaker and Jake Roberts attacked Savage and Roberts taunting Elizabeth with a snake. Summerslam 1991 definitely was not a bad card, wasn't great but good. Savage and Elizabeth's wedding was awesome and that's why they get the MVP. Bret and Perfect also get a MVP as well for putting him on a good match. The WVP has to be although i've nominated him 3 times for MVP. The WVP has to be The Ultimate Warrior and for starters, Warrior and Undertaker were feuding at the time so we could've had a match between Warrior and Taker and a rematch between Hogan and Slaughter for the title. But what can you do?. MVP: Bret Hart, Mr. Perfect, Elizabeth, Randy Savage WVP: The Ultimate Warrior SUMMERSLAM 1992 - London, England - Wembley Stadium - August 31, 1992 upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/50/SummerSlam_1992.jpg/220px-SummerSlam_1992.jpgBefore Summerslam 1992: WWF has held many PPV events but never did they hold a big stadium that had the biggest 1985 Live Aid Show ever, and that was Wembley Stadium. Their hometown hero British Bulldog was in the main event facing Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship, and not only that, the fans anticipated a match between Warrior and Savage, the WrestleMania 7 rematch for the WWF Championship. Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan were your commentators for the show. LOD/Money Inc: Money Inc and LOD had some scores to settle with one another because of Dibiase and IRS beating the Legion of Doom in February of that year to capture the Tag Team Championship. But The Legion of Doom's entrance was memorable with them riding motor bikes to the ring. The match went 15 minutes long with the Legion of Doom picking up the victory, the first match of Summerslam 1992 for me gets a 3/5 not only because of the match, but because of the entrance. The Legion of Doom would of course wrestle their last PPV Match on this card, we wouldn't see them again in the WWF until 1997. Nailz/Virgil: This match to me wasn't a good match, we all knew Nailz would squash Virgil, so last year, Virgil won the Million Dollar Championship, but this year. He jobs to Nailz, poor Virgil. Nailz's time in the WWF didn't last very long as he was fired due to an altercation with Vince McMahon, so for the first time in my Summerslam Reviews, I'm giving this a 0/5. Martel/Michaels: This match was very odd, because these two were not allowed to hit each other, but to be fair. Martel and Michaels wrestled pretty good, their chemistry clicked in this match. Although they broke the hit each other rule, the match ended prematurely due to Sensational Sherri fainting in the ring, it got 8 minutes. So both men got theirselves countedout cause they wanted to carry Sherri backstage, although this match should've gotten a 3/5, it didn't so here's a 2/5. Martel didn't wrestle at Summerslam again, he still stayed in the company until leaving the WWF in 1995 for good. Beverly Brothers/The Natural Disasters: The Disasters won the Tag Team Titles in the Summer of 1992 and became fan favorites by the start of 1992. Earthquake and Typhoon picked up the victory in this one, the match also gets a 2/5. Not a Bad but good Tag Team Match. Crush/Repo Man: This match was not broadcast at all, but this was not a good match as you had two former Demolition Members face off against each other, Crush got the win, but this is a 1/5 for both men. Warrior/Savage: The first double main event as Savage wanted redemption for what happened at WrestleMania 7, this time Savage was WWF Champion and the Ultimate Warrior was the challenger, this match was back and forth and it could've gone either way, this contest went 28 minutes, although Perfect wanted to convince the two to turn each other, it didn't work out that way for both Perfect and Flair. This was a great match, Flair though did interefere to make Savage get counted out after Flair chopblocked the leg but after the match, Warrior and Savage hugged together and walked backstage. Warrior and Savage's match gets a 4/5, not bad as WrestleMania 7, this one was much better than WrestleMania 7. No, I take that back. Even more better than WrestleMania 7. Warrior would leave the WWF again in 1992 and would not compete at Summerslam although he did compete in the WWF in 1996 but left for the third time until returning one more time to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, but three days later after being inducted, he passed away of a heart attack. Savage did not wrestle at Summerslam again, he did make Summerslam Appearances, his last one would be in 1994. Savage left WWF to go to WCW in 1994 and stayed there until its demise in 2001. Savage passed away in 2011 of a Heart Attack and he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015, and I guarantee all of you Savage and The Warrior are fighting up in heaven recreating their greatest matches with all the other loyal wrestling fans. Undertaker/Kamala: This was The Undertaker's first Summerslam Match. The Undertaker also made a memorable entrance himself as he arrived on a hearse. Kamala and Taker although they were two big guys put on a pretty good showing, but it was The Undertaker that won by DQ after Kamala's managers Harvey Whippleman and Kimchee attacked The Phenom, after. The Undertaker stalked Kamala and his managers to the back, the match gets a 2/5, but Undertaker's entrance in the hearse gets a 3/5 as well. Bulldog/Bret: Now Last Year, Bret had that epic match with Mr. Perfect, this one did not disappoint at all, everyone was split as brother-in-laws faced off for the Intercontinental Championship. Bulldog and Hart put on one heck of a contest similar to the match between Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat in 1987 at WrestleMania 3, the Intercontinental Title at that time was memorable matches and this one was memorable. The match was 25 minutes long, Bulldog and Bret really clicked well with each other, In 25 minutes, Bulldog captured the Intercontinental Title, his first singles title defeating The Hitman. After that match, both men shook hands and hugged and also celebrated with Bulldog's wife Diana. The match gets a big 5/5. Great work by both men, Great Main Event of the Summerslam Golden Era, that's the way out to close out the 1988-1992 reviews. Summerslam 1992 was a tremendous show, tremendous entrances also by the Legion of Doom and The Undertaker, they both get MVPs for the entrances, Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage even get MVPs and so do British Bulldog and Bret Hart, but for the worst is Nailz and Virgil, they both get WVPs. MVPS: The Legion of Doom, The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, Bret Hart, British Bulldog. WVPS: Nailz and Virgil. So that wraps things up for the Golden Era, I will return tonight to talk about the New Generation Summerslam Era and see how the New Generation Summerslam Era was.

We are now moving into the Reality Era from 2014 to 2016. But before We do. Let's take a look again at the Golden Era, The New Generation Era, The Attitude Era, The Ruthless Aggression Era and The PG-13 Era. Golden Era: Hulk Hogan (5) Roddy Piper (1) Paul Orndorff (1) Andre The Giant (1) Ted Dibiase (1) Randy Savage (1) Mr. Perfect (1) Ultimate Warrior (1) The Undertaker (1) Ric Flair (1) Bret Hart (1) New Generation Era: Bret Hart (3) Shawn Michaels (2) Razor Ramon (2) The Undertaker (1) Diesel (1) Sycho Sid (1) Owen Hart (1) Yokozuna (1) Lex Luger (1) Vader (1) Attitude Era: Stone Cold Steve Austin (6) Hulk Hogan (5) Triple H (4) The Rock (3) Mick Foley (3) The Undertaker (2) Shawn Michaels (2) Owen Hart (1) Kane (1) Kurt Angle (1) Ruthless Aggression Era: John Cena (4) Edge (2) Chris Benoit (2) Brock Lesnar (2) Triple H (1) The Rock (1) Kurt Angle (1) Eddie Guerrero (1) Matt Hardy (1) The Undertaker (1) Mr. Kennedy (1) Shawn Michaels (1) Ric Flair (1) PG-13 Era: Randy Orton (4) John Cena (3) Eddie Guerrero (3) Edge (2) Daniel Bryan (2) CM Punk (2) Triple H (1) The Miz (1) Wade Barrett (1) Dolph Ziggler (1) Chris Jericho (1) Sheamus (1) R-Truth (1) John Morrison (1) Jeff Hardy (1) Brock Lesnar (8/17/14 to 1/25/15) At Summerslam, for the first time since 2004. Brock Lesnar finally won the big one at Summerslam by ending the Yes Movement's Dream and John Cena as well. As Suplex City was born with Lesnar delivering multiple suplexes to Daniel Bryan and John Cena. A record setting 16. Lesnar was the difference maker of reigning as WWE Champion for 5 months. His first title defense was at Night of Champions when he successfully retained it against John Cena despite Seth Rollins's attempts of cashing in, and at Hell in A Cell over Cena once again, and at Survivor Series over Randy Orton, but didn't defend it at TLC. But Lesnar would defend the WWE Title at the 2015 Royal Rumble against a man who made his return in the Summer of 2014. CM Punk. CM Punk (1/25/15 to 3/29/15) After the 2014 Royal Rumble, Rumours spread that CM Punk had left the company, but that was not true. On CM Punk's Twitter's Account. CM Punk announced that he had a staph infection and that he wanted to take time off for it, In the Summer of 2014 after Money In The Bank. CM Punk made his return to the WWE to cleanse the Authority and said that he was tired of the Authority's power and that he wanted to stand up to the Authority before he wanted his WWE Championship back. At Summerslam, he defeated Triple H and at Survivor Series with help from Sting put Triple H out of power. By the end of 2014. CM Punk received his one on one Championship Match at the Royal Rumble against Brock Lesnar. Punk would do anything he could to slay the beast and former alliance member Brock Lesnar in a No Disqualifaction Match at the Royal Rumble. Lesnar of course put up a great dominance against Punk. Punk would however fight back, but just as Lesnar was about to put Punk away. The Undertaker's gongs hit as he was distracting Lesnar, the man who Lesnar attacked the night after WrestleMania 30 after The Undertaker retained his streak over Lesnar and he came from under the ring to chokeslam Lesnar to the mat and deliver a Tombstone Piledriver to Lesnar, after. Punk woke Lesnar up and hit the GTS to regain his third WWE Championship. Punk would retain his title at Fastlane in a rematch with Lesnar when The Undertaker's mind games again distracted Lesnar allowing Punk to retain the title, that would mean Punk would have to defend the WWE Title at WrestleMania 31 against Daniel Bryan who had won the Royal Rumble for the third straight time. i.pinimg.com/originals/37/12/77/3712770a64580945884cf82872dc058d.jpgSeth Rollins (3/29/15 to 10/25/15) As Punk and Bryan both beat the hell out of each other for the title at WrestleMania's Main Event. Seth Rollins's music hit as he made his way out to commit the heist of the century by making this match a Triple Threat Match, Rollins went ahead and pinned Bryan by hitting the Curb Stomp to get the victory and commit the heist of the century by capturing the WWE Championship. Rollins was now the face of the company spending the eight months as WWE Champion defending against all comers, despite being the bad guy. He was described by many as a true champion even though he would use dirty tactics to cheat retaining the WWE Championship against CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules, and against Randy Orton at Payback, in a 6-Man Elimination Chamber Match against CM Punk. Dean Ambrose. Roman Reigns. Randy Orton and Kane at the Elimination Chamber, Money in The Bank against Ambrose. Battleground against Lesnar. Summerslam against Reigns, and at Night of Champions against Sting. But in the summer. Rollins injured Kane and had him fired by the Authority, at Night of Champions. Demon Kane returned to make his payback against Rollins and the Authority by Chokeslamming the WWE COO Triple H and also the WWE Champion as well. Kane had threatened Rollins and held him hostage and even threatened to set his statue on fire until Rollins agreed to face Kane one on one for the WWE Championship inside Hell in A Cell. cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/BF8fQ4WiCrkgmLQ-6AF162CVaMw=/99x0:1182x722/1400x1400/filters:focal(99x0:1182x722):format(jpeg)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/46035440/WM31_Photo_429-781886300.0.0.jpgKane (10/25/15 to 10/26/15) At Hell in A Cell. Kane captured the WWE Championship, the Championship that he had not held since 1998, But it would be a bittersweet moment for the monster Kane. After Hell in A Cell, The Wyatts attacked The Undertaker after The Undertaker's Hell in A Cell Match against Brock Lesnar and carried him away from the arena. On RAW. Bray Wyatt demanded that Kane would have The Undertaker back if he agreed to defend the title against Bray Wyatt the next night on RAW. Kane accepted. Kane would be beaten down at the start of the match by the Wyatt Family before the bell could ring. Bray Wyatt (10/26/15 to 11/22/15) That allowed Bray Wyatt to capture the WWE Title over the Monster Kane and Kane would be dragged out the same way The Undertaker would be carried at Hell in A Cell. The next week on RAW. Bray claimed that he harvested the souls of Kane and The Undertaker, but The Undertaker's gong sounded proving that Bray couldn't kill what was already dead, The Phenom made his resurrection just eight days after being adbucted but he was not alone, he had Kane with him. Taker and Kane destroyed the Wyatt Family and the new WWE Champion. Bray agreed to a title match against The Undertaker at the Undertaker's 25th Anniversary at the Survivor Series with Bray saying that if Undertaker didn't win the title. Taker's career was over. But Undertaker came up with a stipulation, A Buried Alive Match. www.wwe.com/f/all/2019/04/017_BRAY_02122017sb_0017--793eb18a118a943b318c1f032e83a646.jpgThe Undertaker (11/22/15 to 11/23/15) It would be The Demon of Death Valley that would capture the WWE Championship once again and harvest Wyatt's soul by burying him alive, the next night on RAW as The Deadman celebrated his title reign. Roman Reigns with his Money In The Bank Briefcase he won last June. Yes, I know. Reigns challenged Rollins for the title at Summerslam, but won a Battle Royal for it. Reigns would announce that he would cash in on Undertaker with Undertaker accepting. Roman Reigns (11/23/15 to 4/3/16) But with help from the Authority. Roman turned his back on the fans by stabbing them in the back and defeating The Undertaker to win his first WWE Championship. Roman was now the new member of the Authority after Seth went down due to an injury. Roman's friend Dean Ambrose tried to tell Roman why he turned his back on the fans. Dean was the first man to challenge Roman for the title at TLC. But ultimately failed to win the title with help from Roman's family, The Usos. At the 2016 Royal Rumble. Roman would also retain his title against John Cena. The same night, Ambrose won the 30-Man Royal Rumble as the #1 entrant by last eliminating Triple H who was the #30 entrant. That set up the WrestleMania Match with Ambrose vs Reigns, but somebody returned to be cleared at WrestleMania, we're going to push Rollins's injury to 3 months cause Rollins healed significantly with training. Rollins returned at the Fastlane after WrestleMania attacking Reigns and Triple H turning Rollins face for the first time in the process. Shane McMahon in his return announced that both Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins would compete at WrestleMania 32 in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship inside the Hell in A Cell.

WWF RAW IS WAR - November 17. 1997
Clips are shown of Last Week of Monday Night RAW in where Shawn Michaels retained the WWF Championship over Ken Shamrock with help from Triple H. But after the match. The Undertaker appeared and announced that he would face Shawn Michaels at D-Generation X: In Your House in the fourth Buried Alive Match in WWF History. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for RAW is WAR. They announce that tonight, JR will have an interview with Vince McMahon of what happened on that fateful Montreal Night, and plus. The Undertaker will take on Hunter Hearst Helmsley in the main event. And that's not all. Stone Cold Steve Austin will have his first Intercontinental Title Defense tonight against Dan Severn.
The Undertaker's music plays as he makes his way down to ringside. The commentators discuss how Undertaker could be the World Wrestling Federation Champion for the fourth straight time. Undertaker gets in the ring as he brings the lights up and Taker also has a microphone in hand, so it should be interesting to see what Undertaker has to say. Undertaker picks up the mic and says that November 9, 1997 in Montreal was a tragic incident in the World Wrestling Federation because of what Shawn Michaels did to Bret Hart, not only was it Shawn Michaels's fault, but Vince McMahon's fault as well. Taker says that he's been in the WWF for 7 years, he's wrestled for nearly 10 years and he's seen all the people come and go in the World Wrestling Federation and he's buried them all. But he would never make a deal with the devil and screw a WWF Superstar. Taker says that what Shawn Michaels did was a slap in the face of the World Wrestling Federation, and it's because of people like Bret Hart are no longer in the World Wrestling Federation. When Undertaker came to the World Wrestling Federation on November 22, 1990. He's seen people like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Ted Dibiase, Roddy Piper and others. But when they left the WWF to head to the new company, People like him, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Diesel, Razor Ramon and others stayed in the Federation, but now both of them are gone. And Shawn is still here. Undertaker says that last week he couldn't stand seeing what Shawn Michaels screw another top talent in the WWF naming Ken Shamrock and yes he'll admit it should've not been his business because he was dealing with his brother Kane earlier that night. But Shawn's ego took it too far and now he's the one that has to pay, At DX: In Your House. There will be a judgment day for Shawn Michaels. Because Shawn's reign as WWF Champion is going to come to an early end. And it's going to end at an early grave. Taker says that he will admit, he doesn't dress up in tighty whities, he doesn't go out there and pose naked in magazines. He doesn't point at his crotch and tell everyone to suck it. What he does is take people's souls, he's been doing it since he came to the World Wrestling Federation. And that's been his style. Shawn Michaels learned that first hand at Bad Blood and if it hadn't been for Kane. He could've been the one to beat Bret Hart at Montreal and have that championship to himself. Undertaker says that that also brings him to his little brother. Taker says that he knows deep in his heart that there is still good left inside of Kane. If Kane wants to go ahead and destroy everybody in the World Wrestling Federation. If Kane wants to make an impact like he did years ago. Then so be it. But he wants Kane by his side at D-Generation X. Because he knows Shawn Michaels will have Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna by his side. But he wants Kane to come by his side. And if Kane has some good in him, then leave Paul Bearer and join The Undertaker by his side so they can destroy the World Wrestling Federation by force. And they can destroy D-Generation X by force and the entire WWF until there is nothing left. Taker says that at D-Generation X. It will be Shawn Michaels's last ride and he will be buried alive for good. So Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna, all three of them will rest in peace.

Match 1: Marc Mero w/Sable vs Steve Blackman This should be an interesting match between both Marc Mero and Steve Blackman to kick off the show. Blackman gains the advantage in this contest over Mero but Mero fights back and lands chops and punches on the Lethal Weapon but Blackman fights back and this is kind of a back and forth battle. Mero attempts to go for the TKO a new move he's called but Blackman fights out of it and hits a bicycle kick and follows it up with the Dragon Sleeper on Mero to get the victory. Winner: Steve Blackman
After the match as Blackman is celebrating his victory. Blackman starts to look at Sable but wait a minute, Mero gets to his feet and hits a right hand on Blackman and Mero takes down Blackman and look at Mero all over the Lethal Weapon. Mero is upset that Blackman just stared down Sable. Mero retreats from the ring and drags Sable with him. What's gotten into Mero?.
Backstage, The Blackjacks, Flash Funk, Bob Holly, Bart Gunn and Tiger Ali Singh are both backstage with J.R. asking what is happening. Bradshaw speaks up and says that ever since Kane has come to the World Wrestling Federation. He has destroyed lives and he has destroyed everyone because of the fact that his brother The Undertaker burned him alive, that's The Undertaker's issue. Not theirs. But Kane is about to get his Judgment Day. Because tonight, They're calling Kane out.

Match 2: Tag Team Light Heavyweight Match Tajiri and Jushin Thunder Liger vs Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher. This is going to be an interesting Tag Team Light Heavyweight Match between Tajiri & Jushin Thunder Liger against Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor. The commentators announce that there will be a Battle Royal for the Light Heavyweight Championship at DX: In Your House. It's a great tag match with these four Cruiserweights. Christopher and Taylor work well in this match against Tajiri and Liger. The commentators discuss how Taylor was a jobber, but Christopher has now motivated Taylor as Lawler says. Tajiri and Liger make a comeback in this match, but as Tajiri goes for a kick on Taylor. Taylor sneaks up Tajiri and rolls him up to get the victory. Taylor had the tights. Winners: Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor

The Commentators take us to what really happened at Survivor Series with Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon. Ross narrates the happenings with a clip of Bret talking about his contract expiring, then clips are shown of the Montreal Screwjob with Bret's actions speaking volumes. Then it shows Ross and Vince together. Ross asks the question if Vince really screwed Bret Hart?. Vince said that some would say that he screwed Bret Hart, but he'll look at it from a standpoint, the referee didn't screw Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels didn't screw Bret Hart. Vince McMahon didn't screw Bret Hart. Vince truly believes that Bret Hart screwed Bret Hart, and he can look in the mirror. Ross says that some parts of the country agree that Vince did not accept responsibility, that Vince orchestrated the situation and the people weren't going to understand the fact of Bret Hart screwing Bret Hart, and what does it mean?. Vince says that he will certainly take responsibility for any decisions he ever made, he has no problem doing that. None of his decisions are accurate, but when he makes a bad decision. He makes more good decisions, but as far as screwing Bret Hart is concerned. There is a time honor tradition in the wrestling business. They show the amount of respect, you show them the proper respect of the Organization. It's a time honored tradition, but Bret Hart didn't want to honor that tradition and that's something that he would've never expected from Bret. It would've never crossed his mind that Bret wanted to show amount of respect to the WWF Superstars that helped make him what it is today, that was Bret's decision. Bret screwed Bret!. Ross reminds the fans that some people know that Bret Hart signed a 20-year contract with the WWF in 1996. And some folks are saying how could Bret Hart leave, he had 18 years left of his contract. Did Bret ask Vince to leave the WWF?. Or did Vince ask Bret to leave?. Vince says that this was a joint decision somewhat as well. From both Bret and Vince. Ultimately, what happened. The two got together and orchestrated the opportunity for Ted Turner to steal Bret. Vince felt for reasons if Bret Hart's salary they were paying him was not justified. Then Bret felt for creative reasons when he became second banana to Shawn Michaels in his own mind who had stolen his spot, so for financial reasons and creative reasons on both their parts and the two of them got together and decided to do the very best they can for Bret and so they orchestrated with Bret receiving a 3-year deal, $300 million dollars a year. Which is the richest deal in all of professional wrestling entertainment, and that's worth than a $125 K. So Vince felt from a personal standpoint if Bret wasn't a great investment to the WWF. He didn't want him to leave but the least he could do for Bret is to help him help himself. Vince says that he told Bret if he got this deal, he would be the very first person to congratulate him. But from a Business Standpoint, he didn't want to lose Bret Hart. He wasn't paying from a financial standpoint but nonetheless he really didn't want Bret Hart to leave the company. Ross says that the loss at Survivor Series could never be more prevalent. Bret stood in the ring and spit in Vince's face and after, he destroyed WWF Television Equipment. Was Vince prepared for what happened after the match?. Vince says that he was very disappointed in Bret. Bret punched him, he sustained a concussion, he's having vision problems but he will get over it, he didn't think it was the right thing to do. But Bret's crowing about him and that Bret's proud of striking Vince and it wasn't the question or confrontational cause even at 52 years old, things would have been different if it was confrontational. He allowed Bret to strike him, Vince had hoped that he wouldn't. He hoped that they would sit down and work things out, that's what he really expected, but that is not what happened. Ross asks if Vince is going to think about pressing charges. Vince says that he has considered it but he's not pursuing it at this moment, it all depends on Bret whether or not. Ross says that if Vince was a storywriter and the Survivor Series was the final chapter of Bret Hart's Story in the WWF Years. How would Vince have preferred to write the Final Chapter. Vince says as a storyteller, he would've hoped that Bret's story would be not dramatic. His story would be given dignity, in the state that he was the greatest WWF Superstar he ever lived in one way to get back at those individuals, Superstars in the WWF that helped him acheive, when he knows he's leaving a time honored tradition. After the most grueling match that Bret ever had in his life. Bret was pinned, but in the small moment of defeat. Bret would've stood straight up what a true champion and a human being and a wrestler really is. But if he was Bret, he could see Bret after a 1, 2, 3, saying Okay. Vince would've congratulated him and stuck his hand out and furthermore Bret would tell everyone to watch his match in a time-honored tradition. This needs to be done to show every individual, secretary, everyone in Titan Sports and in the WWF that he was there and he did the right thing to be a true champion. Ross says that does he have Sympathy for Bret?. Vince says that he has no sympathy for Bret what soever, he has no sympathy for someone not doing the right thing and not doing the right thing also for the fans. Bret made a selfish question and will live with it for the rest of his life and that Bret screwed Bret and he has no sympathy for Bret what so ever.

Sid dominates the match against Goldust, Goldust gets a little offense in eventually bringing the big man down, but Sid makes his comeback and brings him down to the mat with a chokeslam. Sid then signals for the jackknife powerbomb on Goldust but look at this Goldust just rolled out of the ring and it looks like Goldust does not want no part of Sycho Sid. Goldust has led himself to be counted out. What has happened to Goldust?. Winner By Countout: Sycho Sid

Match 5: 6-Man Tag Team Match Mankind and The Legion of Doom vs The New Age Outlaws and Terry Funk Obviously there's been some issues with all 6 of these men. And this should be a good intense 6-Man Tag Team Match. The faces get the advantage to start the match off with Mankind going right for Funk. But it's the heels that battle back with the Outlaws and Funk coming back in the match against Animal, but Mankind is tagged in attacking The Outlaws and Funk. Mankind starts getting his hands on Funk and rams him into the buckle many times that he busts Funk up. The Outlaws try to stop Mankind from pummeling Funk even further but Hawk and Animal come back in to make the save. The Outlaws brawl with Hawk and Animal outside the ring and as Mankind takes advantage over Funk. Funk grabs a turnbuckle pad behind the referee's back and hits Mankind in the face with it. The referee never saw it. Funk pins Mankind to get the victory. Funk, a bloody mess crawls out of the ring not wanting nothing to do with Mankind. Winners: The New Age Outlaws and Terry Funk.

Back in the ring. The Blackjacks, Bob Holly, Bart Gunn, Flash Funk, Tiger Ali Singh are in the ring, as Bradshaw picks up a mic saying that Kane needs to get his big red intellectually- disabled ass out here so that they are going to put Kane's fire out. Kane's music then plays in the arena as he makes his way to the ring with Paul Bearer. The commentators ask if that's the night that Kane finally gets his once and for all. Kane sets his pyros ablaze and as the Superstars get ready to attack, The Undertaker's gong sounds as the lights go out in the arena and The Undertaker is now making his way to the ring, is it going to be a 7 on 1 against Kane?. It looks like The Undertaker will help the WWF Superstars fight Kane. The Undertaker said a month ago he will never do it, but it looks like he's been left without a choice. It looks like The Undertaker's advice against Kane fell on deaf ears last week. The Undertaker enters the ring as the commentators say that the destruction of Kane is imminent. Taker gets in the ring and stares down his brother face to face. Bradshaw tries to tell Undertaker to jump Kane but Undertaker hits a right hand on Bradshaw and now Kane hits Windham with a right hand. What is going on, The Undertaker & Kane are both fighting against these 6 men. Taker tosses Bob Holly over the top rope while Kane does the same thing to Tiger Ali Singh. Taker grabs Funk by the throat and chokeslams him to the mat and Kane does the same thing to Bart Gunn. The Blackjacks try to fight Taker and Kane but they are no match as Undertaker and Kane send them both to the outside. What the hell have we just seen?. The Undertaker helped Kane fight off these six men?. Is this what The Undertaker meant last week?. Undertaker then leaves the ring and says something off mic saying that he would never fight Kane, he would have to burn in hell before he fights Kane. But we will see The Undertaker later tonight as he takes on Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

Match 6: The Rock w/The Nation of Domination vs Duane Gill The Rock has had a lot of momentum since joining the Nation of Domination, and at the 1997 Survivor Series. He became the sole survivor and shocking the world by scoring a huge upset over The Undertaker in the Survivor Series Elimination Match. The Rock squashes Gill and never gives Gill any time to recover. The Rock gets the win by hitting the Rock Bottom followed up with the modified elbow to get the victory with Lawler calling it the People's Elbow. Winner: The Rock
The commentators take us to the second and the last part of the interview between Jim Ross and Vince McMahon on what happened on why Bret has left the WWF!
Ross starts the second part of the interview off by saying that if Vince would welcome Bret Hart to the WWF once again, would he allow Bret to return to the WWF. He spit in Vince's face, and destroying the television and the monitors and also punched him. But would Vince ever allow Bret to come back in the WWF?. Vince says that this is a strange business, but yes he would and they would have to have a real understanding. He would like to hear Bret say i'm sorry and he didn't mean to be selfish, he lost it there for a while. And he has no problem saying to Bret that Vince had to do what he had to do, would he welcome Bret back?. Vince said that he would also tell Bret no more free shots, strictly from a man's standpoint. He'd want him to know that and in the future if they had problems. They're going to have them, but no more free shots. Yes, if Bret could tear up his contract with WCW in return. He welcomes Bret back under those conditions. Ross asks if Bret's motivation didn't leave here for the money. Vince says there was signs in the arena following Survivor Series that Bret sold out. Bret seemed to be sensitive to that subject. He doesn't want to be known as someone who sold out. Vince is proud of the fact that he helped Bret sold out and that's what Bret did. He sold out, it's not a big deal because he helped him do it. Vince then says that Bret left for the money, when you're making 3 million dollars a year and you're working 125 days of that year. Bret sold out, and Vince doesn't blame Bret for selling out. And Vince helped him, as a matter of fact. It could be the next line of superstars saying Vince, help me sell out. Did Bret sell out!. Yes, And he doesn't think everytime Bret says No. He didn't do it for the money. Bret loses Credibility everytime he says that. Ross asks if this ordeal affected Vince more, the businessside of Vince McMahon or the personal side of Vince McMahon. Vince says that the WWF will go on beyond Bret Hart, but from a personal side. It has affected him, And that it can't end a 14-year relationship like it was ended without having feelings, he regrets that he felt forced to make the decision. He regretted that Bret didn't do the right thing for the business or himself. Because it wouldn't have costed him $1 million dollar less with Turner. He regrets that to his fans if there is a thing separate from the WWF fans are in any way hurt from this. He regrets that his family is enduring the tirade that Bret seems to be on. He regrets that a member of his family, his son had to witness some of this in the Locker Room. He regrets all of that from a personal standpoint. He made a tough decision but it was the right thing for the World Wrestling Federation Fans and the WWF Superstars that remain here loyal to Vince. Ross says if Vince had the opportunity to speak to Bret cause he knows he's watching, everybody involved that is watching this right now. What would Vince say to him now?. Vince says that Bret made a mistake that he will regret from a professional standpoint it did not have to be made that way, he did the only thing he could do for the Company and the Fans and The Superstars and he's unwavering at that point of view and perhaps Bret is unwavering. He doesn't know if they'll get together, but it might one day. It's too bad that a 14-year relationship was destroyed because one member of that relationship forgot that we are in the sports entertainment business. Forgot where he came from. Ross asks when Vince will be over this, Vince says that he's over it now. But at the same time, Bret has been a part of the WWF and a part of Bret will always be in the WWF. Vince says that he's going to remember the good times, the things they did with Bret in which he performed to the greatest degree. Possibly the wonderful stories, he's going to remember Bret as the excellence of execution, it's just too damn bad that in the end Bret really wasn't the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be and he had that opportunity to live up to that. In his final match with the WWF and he failed miserably!.
Back to the arena, DX are already in the ring with Shawn Michaels having a microphone in his hand. Michaels says that everyone knows the story right now, it wasn't Shawn Michaels that screwed Bret Hart. It wasn't Hunter Hearst Helmsley that screwed Bret Hart. It wasn't Earl Hebner that screwed Bret Hart. It wasn't Vince McMahon that screwed Bret. But Bret screwed himself. Shawn says that Bret's probably up there right now in WCW. But as DX can tell, there has been a change of plans. Rick Rude has left the World Wrestling Federation because immediately after The Undertaker placed him in the casket last week. They fired him after they woke him up from that coffin. Shawn states that now that the cat's out of the bag on Bret Hart. Speaking of Cats, last week. The Undertaker issued a Buried Alive Match, and now at D-Generation X: In Your House. The Undertaker is going to take the big catnap when Shawn throws him six feet under and DX will continue to dominate the World Wrestling Federation and bury The Undertaker's career just like they buried Bret Hart's career. Shawn also says that he doesn't care about The Undertaker saving his brother tonight. As a matter of fact, he couldn't care less about The Undertaker's family because after all The Undertaker did char them 20 years ago. The Undertaker's music then plays and that must have ired The Phenom that he makes his way to the ring with a purpose because of what Shawn said that he took off his ring coat before coming down the entryway.
Match 7: The Undertaker vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna and Shawn Michaels. Taker starts the match off by hitting Helmsley with a right hand as Chyna and Michaels retreated. Undertaker throws Helmsley to the buckle and hits hard right hands on Helmsley, he then shoves Helmsley into the ropes and hits a clothesline knocking him down and follows it up with an elbow. Taker goes for the cover but Helmsley is able to kick out at 2. Taker stares down Shawn as he gets Helmsley back to his feet. Helmsley gains the advantage in the match but it gets stopped by The Undertaker but that distraction by Shawn and Chyna gives Helmsley the momentum back. Helmsley pummels away at The Undertaker and goes to work on the legs of the Phenom. Taker tries to fight back but Helmsley puts him down with a neckbreaker and goes for the cover but Undertaker kicks out at 2. Helmsley then hits a DDT but Undertaker again kicks out at 2. Helmsley goes to the top rope and goes for a double axe handle but Taker punches him in the gut and as he starts to make a comeback. Helmsley brings him down with a facebuster but that does not faze The Undertaker. Helmsley runs off the ropes only to get a powerslam by The Undertaker. Taker runs off the ropes and goes for an elbow drop but Helmsley rolls out of the way. Helmsley whips Taker into the buckle but Undertaker knees him in the face and hits a right hand on Helmsley and whips him into the ropes but Helmsley reverses and Taker hits a flying clothesline knocking Helmsley down. Taker whips Helmsley into the buckle and hits a clothesline in the corner and hits another clothesline in the corner. Taker scoops Helmsley up and hits the snake eyes and follows it up with a big boot and nails a leg drop on Helmsley. But the referee is distracted by Chyna. Taker sees the referee being distracted by Chyna so he grabs Chyna by the throat and it looks like he's going to chokeslam her. But Helmsley comes from behind with a right hand to the back and goes for a pedigree but Undertaker catapults Helmsley into the buckle and tosses Helmsley over the top rope to the floor. And it looks like Helmsley, Michaels and Chyna are about to leave the arena. But wait a minute there's Ken Shamrock. Shamrock has not forgotten about what happened last week, Shamrock is forcing Helmsley to get in the ring, Helmsley gets back in the ring but what he doesn't realize is that The Undertaker has him by the throat and chokeslams him off the apron. Undertaker signals for the Tombstone Piledriver and he connects with it and will that be the fate of Shawn Michaels come D-Generation X as Taker pins Helmsley to get the win. Winner: The Undertaker
After the Match. Michaels gets in the ring to attack Undertaker. Michaels sees Helmsley getting up and just as they begin to double team The Undertaker. Shamrock gets in the ring and goes after Michaels and Helmsley. Shamrock clotheslines Helmsley over the top rope to the outside and that leaves Michaels and Undertaker in the ring. Undertaker starts to have the upper hand on Shawn by throwing right hands at him. Taker whips Shawn into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Shawn ducks and hits the Sweet Chin Music on The Undertaker. Shawn just nailed Sweet Chin Music on The Undertaker. Shamrock and Helmsley are brawling on the outside of the ring, Shawn is now all over The Undertaker by punching away at him, but the lights go out in the arena and Kane's theme starts to blast in the arena as he makes his way down to ringside, but not with Paul Bearer. It looks like Kane is coming out here on his own. Is Kane going to help Shawn Michaels dismember The Undertaker?. It looks like he is. Kane gets in the ring and Shawn tells Kane to destroy The Undertaker. Kane starts to head towards The Undertaker, but he turns around and grabs the WWF Champion by the throat and Kane just chokeslammed the WWF Champion. Kane has repayed the favor to what The Undertaker did. Undertaker gets to his feet and stares at Kane in shock. Kane begins to leave the ring but it looks like Kane has repaid the favor that The Undertaker did earlier tonight. RAW goes off the air with Undertaker shocked that his brother would save him. Does it look like Kane and The Undertaker have buried the hatchet?.

We are now going to rebook the WWE Championship Era from 2008-2014 instead of calling it the Modern Era. We are going to call it the PG-13 Era. That means Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero never die and are still alive. But before we do that let's take a look at the Golden Era, The New Generation Era, The Attitude Era and The Ruthless Aggression Era. Speaking of Benoit and Guerrero, they may be included in this Modern Era so be surprised. Golden Era: Hulk Hogan (5) Roddy Piper (1) Paul Orndorff (1) Andre The Giant (1) Ted Dibiase (1) Randy Savage (1) Mr. Perfect (1) Ultimate Warrior (1) The Undertaker (1) Ric Flair (1) Bret Hart (1) New Generation Era: Bret Hart (3) Shawn Michaels (2) Razor Ramon (2) The Undertaker (1) Diesel (1) Sycho Sid (1) Owen Hart (1) Yokozuna (1) Lex Luger (1) Vader (1) Attitude Era: Stone Cold Steve Austin (6) Hulk Hogan (5) Triple H (4) The Rock (3) Mick Foley (3) The Undertaker (2) Shawn Michaels (2) Owen Hart (1) Kane (1) Kurt Angle (1) Ruthless Aggression Era: John Cena (4) Edge (2) Chris Benoit (2) Brock Lesnar (2) Triple H (1) The Rock (1) Kurt Angle (1) Eddie Guerrero (1) Matt Hardy (1) The Undertaker (1) Mr. Kennedy (1) Shawn Michaels (1) Ric Flair (1) Edge (7/20/08 to 8/17/08) Edge would win back the WWE Championship for the third straight time over John Cena. But he would not hold on to the WWE Title for very long because after what Edge did to Vickie on their wedding night. Vickie was left with no alternative but to reinstate The Undertaker after Edge had vanished him out of the WWE at One Night Stand. And Edge would have a judgment day with The Undertaker inside Hell in A Cell at Summerslam for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker (8/17/08 to 9/7/08) The Deadman was indeed back and he unleashed hell on Edge in the worst possible way that it had happened to Edge, after chokeslamming Edge on the ladder through the roof of the cell onto tables. The Undertaker became the 6-time WWE Champion once again and would lead the SMACKDOWN brand to the Darkside. At Unforgiven. The Undertaker battled Eddie Guerrero, Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov, Jeff Hardy, Big Show, MVP and Shelton Benjamin in the first ever WWE War Games match for the WWE Championship. Eddie Guerrero (9/7/08 to 10/26/08) But of course, Vickie Guerrero would have another master plan to screw The Undertaker out of the WWE Championship as Vickie's real lover Eddie Guerrero would steal the WWE Championship at Unforgiven defeating The Undertaker at War Games. Eddie and Vickie revealed their perfect plan all along not only to screw both Theodore Long, Edge, Batista and The Undertaker but to screw the WWE fans. Triple H of course was upset at Eddie's mind games and demanded to face Eddie for the title at No Mercy. Eddie got by the skin of his teeth defeating The Game. And Eddie would have another challenger to face at Cyber Sunday whether it be against Triple H, The Undertaker and Jeff Hardy. Triple H (10/26/08 to 11/23/08) At Cyber Sunday. The Game was chosen to dethrone Eddie Guerrero off of the WWE Championship while people disagreed that it wasn't the right choice although they wanted Hardy. Still, at least the WWE fans were satisfied to see Eddie Guerrero lose the WWE Championship. That of course forced Eddie to take a leave of absence, at Survivor Series. The Game would defend the WWE Title against Jeff Hardy and Vladimir Kozlov. But it was not to be, Hardy was found unconcsious, so it was forced to be a one on one match. Eddie Guerrero (11/23/08 to 12/15/08) But, Like always Vickie Guerrero hatched another plan as Eddie Guerrero returned after a one month absence and reclaimed the WWE Championship for the third straight time. Eddie and Vickie of course denied any involvement in Jeff Hardy's attack at the 2008 Survivor Series. But SMACKDOWN CO-GM Shane McMahon announced a Triple Threat Match at Armageddon for real with Eddie Guerrero battling Jeff Hardy and Triple H for the WWE Championship. Jeff Hardy (12/15/08 to 1/25/09) At Armageddon it was Jeff Hardy's time to capture the WWE Championship and a Boyhood Dream 2.0 continued with Jeff Hardy winning back the WWE Championship to the SMACKDOWN Brand. Vickie gave Eddie Guerrero another shot at the 2009 Royal Rumble to get the WWE Championship back with Eddie winning a triple threat match over former WWE Champions in The Undertaker and Triple H. While Hardy's reign as WWE Champion. The mind games over Jeff Hardy would continue when somebody attacked him. Hardy would be sure to put it all behind him and successfully defend his title against Eddie Guerrero at the Royal Rumble. Eddie Guerrero (1/25/09 to 4/5/09) At the 2009 Royal Rumble, Eddie Guerrero would win his fourth WWE Championship but with assisted help from Jeff's brother who was behind the attacks all this time. Matt Hardy, after Eddie regained the WWE Championship that night. Edge made his return at the 2009 Royal Rumble after 5 months of being put out of action by The Undertaker. This time Edge had icy vengeance on his eyes returning as the #22 entrant and eliminating some of his former allies in Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder and Chavo Guerrero who had joined La Familia. Edge would win the 2009 Royal Rumble by last eliminating RAW's Randy Orton. Edge turned face by ruining Eddie Guerrero's fourth WWE Championship Ceremony and stated that like he said in the summer would vow to make Vickie Guerrero's life a living hell. Edge would also bring back his old friend Christian and his old girlfriend Lita to counter his feud with Eddie Guerrero. At WrestleMania 25. It would all come to a head with Edge and Eddie Guerrero fighting for the WWE Championship again. Edge (4/5/09 to 7/6/09) At WrestleMania 25. Edge would regain his fourth WWE Championship over Eddie Guerrero and would bring the WWE Championship to the RAW Brand in the May's Draft Lottery after feuding with Eddie Guerrero one more time. Edge would no longer have Christian and Lita by his side with Christian staying on the SMACKDOWN side and Lita retiring for good this time. In July. Edge would suffer an injury and announced that he was going to vacate the WWE Championship. Vacant (7/6/09 to 7/26/09) The WWE Championship was officially vacated and so the New RAW General Manager Shane McMahon, yes I am keeping Shane in 2009. Shane will have to scramble to find out who will be the next WWE Champion. It would all be decided in an eight-pack challenge with the best of the best. Triple H. Big Show. Randy Orton. John Cena. Chris Benoit. MVP. The Miz and Jack Swagger. Randy Orton (7/26/09 to 9/13/09) The Viper would finally acheive his destiny after winning the World Heavyweight Championship multiple times finally reached the pinnacle by finally gaining the WWE Championship at Night of Champions. Orton would go on to dominate the RAW Brand for two months until he would lose the WWE Championship at the second War Games Match at Unforgiven which featured Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and John Cena. John Cena (9/13/09 to 10/4/09) Cena would celebrate by winning his fifth WWE Championship over the Viper, Cena and Orton's feud would reach to new heights and it would happen inside the most dangerous structure in WWE History, Hell in A Cell. Randy Orton (10/4/09 to 10/25/09) The Viper would once again become the WWE Champion for the second straight time, and he would hold on to the title for three weeks until Cena requested another rematch with the Viper, the stipulations at Cyber Sunday would be chosen, a 60-Minute Ironman Match, 2 out of 3 Falls Match or a Last Man Standing Match. The stipulation was a 60-minute Ironman Match. John Cena (10/25/09 to 12/13/09) And once again, the Franchise proved that he was untop of the mountain again, Cena would not hold the WWE Championship for longer than 2 months as he would lose the title to Sheamus at Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Sheamus (12/13/09 to 6/20/10) Just less than 5 months after his arrival, Sheamus would make history by becoming the first born irish WWE Champion, Sheamus would hold on to the title throughout 2010 and even retaining the title at WrestleMania 26 making him the first man at WrestleMania since Bret Hart held on to the WWE Championship in 1993 at WrestleMania 9. Chris Jericho (6/20/10 to 8/15/10) But At The Great American Bash. Jericho would end Sheamus's 6-month reign as the WWE Champion. Jericho had never held the WWE Championship, but he did win the World Heavyweight Championship on numerous occasions as this was Jericho's first time holding the WWE Championship. Don't get me wrong I loved the real life of Jericho winning the WWE Undisputed Championship at Vengeance 2001. But I'd have Jericho win the title after 11 years. Jericho would remain champion for 2 months. Randy Orton (8/15/10 to 11/21/10) But the Viper would be back chasing after the WWE Championship for the third straight time at Summerslam. The Viper would stay on as Champion for the remainder of 3 months until a Nexus Threat occurred in the form of not only Wade Barrett and The Nexus, but John Cena. Wade Barrett (11/21/10 to 11/21/10) Wade Barrett would dethrone the Viper at the 2010 Survivor Series as Cena was forced to count the fall for Orton thus keeping him Free out of Nexus. But after the match, Cena attacked Barrett and all of the Nexus Members setting up the plan for someone to cash in their Money In The Bank Briefcase. The Miz (11/21/10 to 4/3/11) And that somebody was The Miz. The Miz would become the WWE Champion for the first time and he would hold on to the title for a good portion of five months retaining the title at TLC 2010 in a Fatal Four Way TLC Match against John Cena, Randy Orton and Wade Barrett and also against John Cena at the 2011 Royal Rumble. On that same night, Miz's former partner John Morrison would win the first 40-Man Royal Rumble Elimination Match by entering at #1 and going all the way eliminating the #2 entrant CM Punk. This would set up the WrestleMania 27 match for Morrison to get his revenge over The Miz. John Morrison (4/3/11 to 6/19/11) Morrison would realize his destiny at WrestleMania 27 by defeating The Miz and regaining the WWE Championship and also retaining against The Miz and John Cena at Extreme Rules in a Steel Cage Match and against The Miz in a I Quit Match, but R-Truth was jealous of Morrison's future and decided that he wanted to challenge Morrison for the WWE Championship by saying that everything was a conspiracy against him and that Little Jimmy was out to get him too. So Morrison would try to shut him up at Capital Punishment. R-Truth (6/19/11 to 6/27/11) At Capital Punishment. R-Truth would become the first african american in history to win the WWE Championship over John Morrison at Capital Punishment. But R-Truth would only hold the title for 8 days. John Cena (6/27/11 to 7/18/11) On Monday Night RAW. John Cena finally regained the WWE Championship after a year of not winning it he was finally not denied as he captured his seventh WWE Championship reign. But after his celebration. Cena was pipe bombed by CM Punk saying that he would leave the WWE with the WWE Championship around his waist at Money in The Bank. CM Punk (7/18/11 to 8/15/11) And thus started the Summer of CM Punk as Punk walked out of Chicago with the WWE Championship, but returned eight days later with Triple H reinstating him. Cena wanted a rematch against Punk for the WWE Championship at Summerslam and he got his rematch. Dolph Ziggler (8/15/11 to 11/20/11) This time we're not going to use Alberto Del Rio, but we'll use somebody better than him. At Summerslam. Punk retained the WWE Championship against John Cena, but Kevin Nash would attack him and that would force Dolph Ziggler to cash in his RAW Briefcase and thus becoming the WWE Champion for the first time. Ziggler would remain WWE Champion denying Cena his chance at a tenth World Heavyweight Championship reign at Night of Champions and at Cyber Sunday. But Ziggler would eventually face off against CM Punk at the 2011 Survivor Series for the title. CM Punk (11/20/11 to 4/7/13) Yes, at Survivor Series. CM Punk would win back the WWE Championship over Dolph Ziggler and would stay on as WWE Champion for 504 days, his first WWE Championship defense would be against Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, John Cena in a Fatal-5 Way Match, and at the 2012 Royal Rumble against Wade Barrett, at the 2012 Elimination Chamber against Zack Ryder, R-Truth, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston and also survived a title defense at WrestleMania 28 against Eddie Guerrero who would go on to retire. And at Extreme Rules against Chris Jericho, and at Over The Limit against Daniel Bryan and at No Way Out and at Money in The Bank against him as well. But at RAW 1000, Punk would turn heel by attacking The Rock after The Rock announced that he would face Punk for the WWE Championship at the 2013 Royal Rumble. Punk would also retain his title in a rematch against Cena at Summerslam 2012 and again at Night of Champions. After Hell in A Cell. Punk and Paul Heyman formed an alliance with Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, AJ Lee, Michael McGillicutty, Dean Ambrose, The Big Show and Brock Lesnar as this group was called the Best in the World Era. The group would run rough shot with everybody holding all the gold. At the 2013 Royal Rumble, Punk retained the WWE Championship against The Rock and at the Elimination Chamber 2013 in an Elimination Chamber Championship Match with 5 former WWE Champions in that match, it had featured Kane, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton. At the 2013 Royal Rumble, Daniel Bryan would win the 30-Man Royal Rumble and earned himself the right to face the WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 29. Bryan chose Punk and blamed Punk for his downfall in 2011 and 2012. Punk admitted that he was right. The only reason is because Bryan couldn't hang with CM Punk and that's why Bryan couldn't get the job done in 18 seconds and he would make sure it happens, 18 seconds again and he would stay on for 504 days as the WWE Champion. The matter would be decided at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan (4/7/13 to 8/18/13) It would finally be a moment for Daniel Bryan in time as the "YES!" Man realized his dream at WrestleMania 29 by becoming the WWE Champion. I know Bryan's moment at WrestleMania 30, but what if this match was the main event instead of Rock vs Cena. Punk gets his main event match at WrestleMania 29 against Bryan and these two put on a tear for 40-45 minutes. It excites the WWE Universe and also excites the writers and even Vince McMahon. But in the end it's Bryan that captures the WWE Championship over the Best in The World and Punk will not walk out. But he will return in the Summer of 2013 but request for some time off after the 2014 Royal Rumble cause of his impending engagement to AJ Lee. But Bryan as a member of the YES Movement hangs on to the WWE Championship for 4 long months and faces John Cena for the WWE Championship at the 2013 Summerslam in where he retains. Randy Orton (8/18/13 to 4/6/14) But after, Daniel Bryan is robbed of the WWE Championship by Randy Orton and Triple H. And the Viper becomes the WWE Champion. Bryan tries his hand to win back the WWE Championship at Night of Champions and at Hell in A Cell but fails to win it back, and Orton remains champion for the remainder of 8 months and plus unifies the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship. At the 2014 Royal Rumble. Daniel Bryan wins his second Royal Rumble by last eliminating Roman Reigns. Bryan would have to have 2 WrestleMania matches, first against Triple H in where that if Bryan lost. He would not compete for the WWE Championship. Bryan survived the odds. Daniel Bryan (4/6/14 to 8/17/14) Daniel Bryan would turn WrestleMania once again into YESAMANIA as he won the WWE Championship for the second time yet again defeating the Viper. Bryan would stay WWE Champion and would not be injured, so he remains as Champion for 4 months retaining the title against every obstacle Triple H threw infront of him but Bryan fought it all, at Summerslam 2014 though he would defend the WWE Championship against both Brock Lesnar and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match.

This is now the Ruthless Aggression Era WWE Championship Rebooking but before we rebook, let's look at the Champions from the Golden Era to the Attitude Era. Golden Era: Hulk Hogan (5) Roddy Piper (1) Paul Orndorff (1) Andre The Giant (1) Ted Dibiase (1) Randy Savage (1) Mr. Perfect (1) Ultimate Warrior (1) The Undertaker (1) Ric Flair (1) Bret Hart (1) New Generation Era: Bret Hart (3) Shawn Michaels (2) Razor Ramon (2) The Undertaker (1) Diesel (1) Sycho Sid (1) Owen Hart (1) Yokozuna (1) Lex Luger (1) Vader (1) Attitude Era: Stone Cold Steve Austin (6) Hulk Hogan (5) Triple H (4) The Rock (3) Mick Foley (3) The Undertaker (2) Shawn Michaels (2) Owen Hart (1) Kane (1) Kurt Angle (1) Brock Lesnar (8/25/02 to 12/15/02) 2002 was a major breakout year for the beast incarnate first winning the King of The Ring and thus realizing his destiny at Summerslam by defeating Stone Cold to win the WWE Championship. With the Brand Extension still hot and strong. The WWE Championship was taken to SMACKDOWN meaning that Stone Cold took the WWE Title with him to SMACKDOWN while RAW had the World Heavyweight Championship. Brock would go through numerous title defenses including defeating The Rock at Unforgiven sending him out of the WWE to go make movies, and also defeating The Undertaker at No Mercy and again at the Survivor Series in a Hell in A Cell Match. Lesnar's next #1 Contender would be against Kurt Angle at Armageddon. img.bleacherreport.net/img/article/media_slots/photos/002/927/883/ffcd2ee670648a94a624ed7779a626b9_crop_exact.jpg?w=2975&h=2048&q=85Kurt Angle (12/15/02 to 3/30/03) But Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar's manager would turn on Brock and it would allow Kurt to win the WWE Championship at Armageddon forming a new alliance with Paul Heyman. At the Royal Rumble. Brock did however win but he decided to jump to RAW to face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WresleMania 19. Angle's #1 Contender was chosen, and at WrestleMania 19. It would be the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit who won a #1 Contenders Tournament at No Way Out. And he would finally have the chance to win the Big One at WrestleMania 19. encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSpsE3F7G0kw01eHPwXf6XK9dX_IKgdHT3sng&usqp=CAUChris Benoit (3/30/03 to 10/19/03) And it came true as Benoit realized his glory to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his WWE Career, he would lead the SMACKDOWN Brand as the Champion. Benoit had his hectic style ahead of him staying WWE Champion for the remainder of 7 months retaining the WWE Championship against all comers, but at No Mercy, after leaving a loser leaves RAW Match at Summerslam for the World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels. Brock Lesnar had nowhere else to go but back to SMACKDOWN. So he challenged Chris Benoit at No Mercy for the WWE Championship in his SMACKDOWN return in the Ultimate Submission Match. encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRMfTNqpR5KZEbDImv3OZWVDuoLxfNQ0DLzYA&usqp=CAUI'm pretending that this is the WWE Championship Chris Benoit is holding. Brock Lesnar (10/19/03 to 2/15/04) Brock was once again back on the SMACKDOWN throne as he defeated Chris Benoit at No Mercy for his second WWE Championship, he would end 2003 as Champion and would start 2004 as the WWE Champion. At the Royal Rumble, after being betrayed by Chavo Guerrero and defeating Chavo in a match. Eddie Guerrero entered the Royal Rumble Match and took the biggest upset of his career by winning it by last eliminating the #1 entrant Chris Benoit. Eddie chose the WWE Championship. Benoit would also receive a rematch since he was the runner up at No Way Out. Benoit wanted to headline WrestleMania 20 with Eddie Guerrero cause it was all they worked for. Chris Benoit (2/15/04 to 3/14/04) At No Way Out. Chris Benoit would win the WWE Championship for the second straight time and went on to face his friend Eddie Guerrero at WrestleMania 20. Benoit and Guerrero spent the road to WrestleMania teasing a turn on each other, on the go-home of SMACKDOWN. Benoit and Guerrero got into exchanging words but did not get into a brawl with one another setting the stage for one of the most potential dream matches ever at WrestleMania. Eddie Guerrero (3/14/04 to 10/3/04) At WrestleMania 20, Eddie Guerrero realized history when he became the WWE Champion defeating Chris Benoit, Eddie was now untop of the SMACKDOWN World defending the WWE Championship against all comers, at Summerslam. He defeated The Undertaker in what was considered one of the best matchups in Summerslam History in where the two went 30-35 minutes bell to bell. In March of 2004, #1's RAW Star Triple H was traded away from the RAW Brand to the SMACKDOWN Brand and declared his intentions on winning the WWE Championship saying that the World Heavyweight Championship was a thing of the past. Brock would be drafted to RAW and become the World Heavyweight Champion once again. At No Mercy, Eddie faced Triple H with the WWE Championship on the line. Triple H (10/3/04 to 4/3/05) At No Mercy, The Game captured his fifth WWE Championship by defeating Eddie Guerrero cleanly and didn't use help at all. The Game would rule the SMACKDOWN Brand just like he did with the World Heavyweight Championship on the RAW Brand. The 5-time WWE Champion would not be denied with his successful title defense, defeating Eddie Guerrero in a rematch at the 2004 Survivor Series. Defeating Booker T at Armageddon 2004. At the 2005 Royal Rumble against Rey Mysterio and at 2005 No Way Out against The Big Show in a Barbedwire Steel Cage Match. But The Game would run into an old challenger. The Rock (4/3/05 to 8/21/05) The Rock returned to Hollywood to have another run with the WWE full time, at No Way Out. The Rock would win a #1 Contendership Tournament by defeating John Cena. At WrestleMania 21. The Rock dethroned the King of Kings once again to capture his fourth WWE Championship. The WWE Championship would remain on SMACKDOWN in 2005 for the Brand Extension and so too would John Cena. And it would lead to a Summerslam Instant Classic between The Rock and John Cena. John Cena (8/21/05 to 8/21/05) At Summerslam. John Cena defeated The Rock to regain his first WWE Championship in a clean contest, after the match, both men shook hands. But then suddenly, Cena's WWE Championship victory celebration would be spoiled by a Rated R-Surprise. Edge (8/21/05 to 10/9/05) And the Heist of the Century was committed when Edge cashed in his Money in The Bank Briefcase and captured the WWE Championship over John Cena. On the SMACKDOWN after Summerslam. Edge and his girlfriend Lita celebrated with live sex in the ring until it was interrupted by Cena and Matt Hardy. Edge would go on to continue his feud with Matt Hardy for the WWE Championship, the two would face off at No Mercy in a Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship. Matt Hardy (10/9/05 to 12/19/05) The Matt Hardy Era began at No Mercy after a year of redemption and heartbreak. Matt Hardy from Cameron, NC accomplished his dream and became the WWE Champion by defeating Edge in a Steel Cage Match. Edge would be upset at this, at Survivor Series. Hardy defeated Edge in a rematch, but Hardy and Edge would fight one more time at Armageddon in a Hell in A Cell Match to finally end their feud once and for all. Edge (12/19/05 to 4/2/06) At Armageddon. Edge would win back the WWE Championship for the second straight time inside Hell in A Cell over Matt Hardy, Edge retained the WWE Championship at the 2006 Royal Rumble by defeating former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero with of course help from Lita and at No Way Out, retained it in an Elimination Chamber Match until he would go on to face the 2006 Royal Rumble Winner, John Cena who wanted redemption for being screwed out of the WWE Championship at Summerslam. John Cena (4/2/06 to 4/1/07) The Doctor of Thugamonics's time was finally here as he defeated Edge to win his second WWE Championship at WrestleMania 22. Cena would stay on as WWE Champion and would dominate SMACKDOWN as his dominant place as the champion. Cena would stay champion throughout 2006 and at the start of 2007. At the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker won the Royal Rumble for the second time and would decide to challenge Cena at WrestleMania 23 for the WWE Championship. Taker had not held the title for 8 years and what a way to end that drought by becoming the WWE Champion at WrestleMania. The Undertaker (4/1/07 to 6/24/07) And it would indeed end for The Undertaker as he captured his fifth WWE Championship over John Cena at WrestleMania 23. The Deadman became the face of SMACKDOWN for the past two months, at Night of Champions, he would however face Mr. Money in The Bank Ken Kennedy for the WWE Championship in where Kennedy officially cashed in his Money in The Bank and wanted to leave SMACKDOWN to take the WWE Title to RAW in where he was traded. staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/08/3fb31-15963779298970-800.jpgMr. Kennedy (6/24/07 to 9/3/07) Mr. Kennedy accomplished his task and did defeat The Undertaker at Night of Champions to capture the WWE Championship and take it to Monday Night RAW bringing the WWE Championship home to the RAW Brand for 5 years, Eddie Guerrero would take the World Heavyweight Championship to SMACKDOWN. However, Kennedy's 3-month reign as WWE Champion did not last long as he was suspended for failing a drug test. WWE officials decided to strip Kennedy of the WWE Championship, but they didn't want to vacate it. John Cena (9/3/07 to 10/1/07) Instead they let Kennedy drop the title to John Cena and Cena would win the WWE Championship for the third straight time on a live edition of RAW. But Cena did not enjoy his third WWE Championship for long as he went down with an injury. Vacant (10/1/07 to 10/7/07) Cena would be injured and that would force a new WWE Champion at No Mercy in where it would reveal Randy Orton vs Triple H vs Umaga vs Mr. Kennedy in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match for the WWE Championship. But a fifth man was soon to be announced with Vince's illegitimate son Hornswoggle announcing it. Shawn Michaels (10/7/07 to 3/30/08) And that fifth man turned out to be Shawn Michaels as he won the WWE Championship for the first time in 10 years, Michaels returned with vengeance in his mind eliminating Randy Orton and taking the WWE Championship home with him making Shawn a 5-time WWE Champion, Shawn would recap the same championship defenses he would have in the old days, at the 2008 Royal Rumble. Ric Flair won the Royal Rumble Match for the second time at #1 and would challenge Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 24 in his retirement match. Saying, win, lose or draw. He would retire and vacate the WWE Championship. Ric Flair (3/30/08 to 3/31/08) At WrestleMania 24. Flair would break his own record by winning his 17th and last World Championship in his retirement match against the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels in the main event, the next night on RAW. Flair would vacate the WWE Championship and that would set up a tournament to determine who would be the WWE Champion at Backlash. John Cena (4/27/08 to 7/20/08) The honor of course would go to John Cena who would defeat Randy Orton in the tournament finals to become WWE Champion for the fourth time. Cena took the WWE Championship to the SMACKDOWN Brand and would face his old rival Edge for the WWE Championship at the Great American Bash. On the go-home show of SMACKDOWN. Cena showed footage of Edge cheating on Vickie Guerrero the night before the wedding when Edge and Vickie were about to say I do.

It is now time to rebook the WWE Championship, this time we move on to the Attitude Era. But before we do let's look at the Championship Title Changes from The Golden Era and The New Generation Era Golden Era: Hulk Hogan (5) Roddy Piper (1) Paul Orndorff (1) Andre The Giant (1) Ted Dibiase (1) Randy Savage (1) Mr. Perfect (1) Ultimate Warrior (1) The Undertaker (1) Ric Flair (1) Bret Hart (1) New Generation Era: Bret Hart (3) Shawn Michaels (2) Razor Ramon (2) The Undertaker (1) Diesel (1) Sycho Sid (1) Owen Hart (1) Yokozuna (1) Lex Luger (1) Vader (1) Shawn Michaels (11/9/97 to 12/27/97) Yes, the Montreal Screwjob would occur with Michaels and McMahon both having a plan in Bret Hart's disappearance. After surviving a Buried Alive Match with The Undertaker at In Your House. Owen Hart would return to ruin Shawn's aftermatch celebration by attacking him, that would lead to a match at Saturday Night's Main Event with Shawn and Owen. Owen Hart (12/27/97 to 1/18/98) Owen would win the WWF Championship for the second time at Saturday Night's Main Event avenging his brother Bret Hart and would remain the champion for a good few weeks until Shawn Michaels demanded his rematch clause at the 1998 Royal Rumble in a Ladder Match. Shawn Michaels (1/18/98 to 3/29/98) But it would be The Heartbreak Kid that broke another Hart of the Hart Family when he won the title back at the 1998 Royal Rumble in a Ladder Match despite being injured. Michaels would move on to face Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14 with the WWF Championship on the line and with Mike Tyson joining DX. The Odds were stacked against Austin. Stone Cold Steve Austin (3/29/98 to 6/28/98) It was the worst corporate nightmare for Vince McMahon and more so Shawn Michaels. At WrestleMania 14. The Austin 3:16 era had begun. In Austin's first title defense, he would overcome some roadblocks even when Hulk Hogan made his return in May of 1998. Hogan seemed to be a supporter for Austin and would do so at the 1998 King of The Ring when Austin faced Kane for the title in where stipulations stated that if Kane lost the match and didn't win the title. He would set himself on fire. Kane (6/28/98 to 7/26/98) Kane was now untop of the mountain after 8 months of his arrival, he was now the WWF Champion. Austin had demanded a rematch against Kane but it wouldn't be the next night, no no no no. It would be at Fully Loaded for the WWF Championship. But before the match could start. Austin was found knocked out backstage and Hulk Hogan would take Austin's place. Hollywood Hulk Hogan (7/26/98 to 8/30/98) At Fully Loaded. Hogan took Austin's place and defeated Kane to become a record setting 6-time WWF Champion. But the next night on RAW. Hogan would attack Austin turning him heel in the process that would set up the potential dream match at Summerslam 1998 at Madison Square Garden with Austin facing Hogan for the title as the die hard wrestling fans had visioned to see this match. We're going to pretend Hogan's sixth WWF Title win is the WCW Championship. Stone Cold Steve Austin (8/30/98 to 9/27/98) Austin would win back the title at Summerslam for the second time over the Immortal One, but Vince made another plan to simply screw Stone Cold out of the WWF Title, and that was be forced in a Triple Threat Match against Kane and The Undertaker at Breakdown. The Undertaker (9/27/98 to 10/26/98) But it was the master plan that The Undertaker would use to his power by screwing both Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin of the WWF Championship and capturing his third WWF Championship reuniting with Paul Bearer again and forming a soon to be Ministry of Darkness, at Judgment Day. Austin would be fired when he refused to count The Undertaker and Kane down, instead the match was declared a draw meaning Taker would still be Champion, but it would be Shane McMahon eight days later that would rehire Austin. Stone Cold Steve Austin (10/26/98 to 11/15/98) With Austin's rehiring, he would defeat The Undertaker on RAW is WAR to gain back his third WWF Championship. McMahon hatched another plan since Austin was now the WWF Champion. McMahon booked Austin in a 1998 Survivor Series Elimination Match for the WWF Championship in where if Austin's team lost. Austin would lose the WWF Championship, but if another member of Austin's team won or was the sole survivor. Then that team member would be the WWF Champion. Austin's team would be Hollywood Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Kane and Owen Hart against the team of Mankind, The Undertaker, Jeff Jarrett, Mark Henry and Ken Shamrock with Shane McMahon as the guest referee. Hollywood Hulk Hogan (11/15/98 to 1/4/99) At the 1998 Survivor Series. Hogan would turn on Austin and rejoin the Corporation and plus eliminating Mankind to win his seventh WWF Championship. Hogan would officially join the Corporation, Yes i'm replacing Hogan for The Rock cause I got big plans for The Rock in this as well. McMahon knocked Austin out of the title picture for a while as he was forced to face The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match at Rock Bottom. Hogan would deal with the deranged one Mankind with Mankind asking for a title match against Hogan. Mankind (1/4/99 to 1/24/99) It would be Mankind's destiny to acheive his dream on that Monday Night RAW defeating Hollywood Hogan with help from Stone Cold Steve Austin. Hogan was content on using his rematch clause at the 1999 Royal Rumble and would challenge Mankind to a I Quit Match for the WWF Championship. Hollywood Hulk Hogan (1/24/99 to 3/28/99) But it would be Hogan ending Mankind's 3-week reign as WWF Champion at the 1999 Royal Rumble by sadistically beating him down in a I Quit Match and also defeating Mankind at Halftime Heat as well. Hogan would stay Champion against Mankind surviving grueling title defenses against him until he would face the 1999 Royal Rumble Winner The Rock at WrestleMania 15. Yes I know, The Rock. Because we need to have The Rock stay a face and not join the Corporation. The Rock (3/28/99 to 5/23/99) At WrestleMania 15. The People's Champion Era had begun as he defeated Hogan cleanly to regain the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 15 in the iconic dream matchup. Now with The People's Champion as Champion. His first title defense would be against The Rattlesnake at Backlash in where the two put on one hell of a fight, but the Ministry of Darkness would ruin the match as The Undertaker abducted Stephanie McMahon in the limousine, that would force a Triple Threat Match at Over The Edge between The Rock, Steve Austin and The Undertaker. The Undertaker (5/23/99 to 7/25/99) At Over The Edge. The Deadman would reclaim the WWF Championship once again for the fourth time over The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Deadman had it all, the Ministry of Darkness, Jake Roberts as the Higher Power but there was one more thing he wanted, was the whole World Wrestling Federation. Undertaker wanted it all, at Fully Loaded, it stated that if the Phenom did beat Austin. Vince McMahon would lose control of the World Wrestling Federation. Stone Cold Steve Austin (7/25/99 to 8/22/99) But it would be saved by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vince would stay in power once and for all, But Austin didn't have time to enjoy a one month reign as WWF Champion, as the 1999 King of The Ring Winner Triple H cashed in his title opportunity at Summerslam. Triple H (8/22/99 to 9/16/99) The Game's opportunity was at hand, and at Summerslam 1999. He rolled the dice by defeating Austin to become the WWF Champion, but after the match. He would physically attack Austin and put him on the shelf. With The Game's reign as Champion for 3 weeks it seemed like he could not be stopped, until Triple H issued an open challenge on September 16, 1999 and that open challenge surprisingly was accepted by Hulk Hogan who was back in the red and yellow gear. img.bleacherreport.net/img/images/photos/003/759/624/de4ac0b07e36a553995eb53659951ce7_crop_exact.jpg?w=1200&h=1200&q=75Hulk Hogan (9/16/99 to 9/26/99) Hulkamania once more would run wild by winning his ninth WWF Championship over The Game on SMACKDOWN. But Hogan would have a short 10-day reign as Champion as Triple H would come to collect it back at Unforgiven. Triple H (9/26/99 to 11/14/99) The Game would destroy the legacy of Hulkamania at Unforgiven and would recapture the WWF Championship for the second time. The Game was now set to face The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1999 Survivor Series with Triple H reuniting D-Generation X once more, it seemed like The Game would not be stopped, but after Stone Cold got run down. Somebody would take Stone Cold's place. www.onlineWFwannabe.com/pictures/t/tripleh/17.jpgMankind (11/14/99 to 1/23/00) And that somebody was Mankind. After 10 months of being shafted out of his first WWF Championship by Hogan at the 1999 Royal Rumble. Mankind would recapture the title at the 1999 Survivor Series filling in for Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. Mankind remained Champion throughout the end of 1999 and even through the McMahon-Helmsley Regime. At the 2000 Royal Rumble. Triple H was determined to win back the title over Mankind in a Street Fight Match. Triple H (1/23/00 to 4/2/00) At the 2000 Royal Rumble. The Game would end up defeating Mankind in the Brutal Street Fight Match, But Mick Foley's other face Cactus Jack would show up at the 2000 Royal Rumble Match and win the Royal Rumble Match to face Triple H at WrestleMania 16 for the WWF Championship in a Hell in A Cell Match. Cactus Jack (4/2/00 to 4/3/00) Mick Foley wanted to have one more dream before retiring for good, the night after the Royal Rumble. Mick Foley known as Cactus Jack would announce his retirement, win or lose. He would retire, but he would be determined to win the WWF Championship one last time, and at WrestleMania 16. His dream would come true with Cactus Jack despite being thrown through the cell two times and despite being put on thumbtacks. Cactus would defeat Triple H with help from Stone Cold Steve Austin and would capture the WWF Title for the last time. Vacant (4/3/00 to 4/30/00) After, Mick Foley would vacate the championship after announcing his retirement and it would lead to a 32-man tournament with the final 2 going to Backlash to face off for the WWF Championship. The final two would be Triple H and The Rock. The Rock (4/30/00 to 11/19/00) After a year of losing the WWF Championship. The Rock was back untop of the mountain by becoming the 2-time WWF Champion. The Rock would hold on as champion for the remainder of 7 months defending the championship against all comers, but at the 2000 Survivor Series. He would face Kurt Angle for the title. Kurt Angle (11/19/00 to 1/21/01) Just one year after his debut, the Olympic Gold Medalist would regain the WWF Championship at the 2000 Survivor Series cleanly after defeating The Rock by making The Rock submit to the anklelock, Angle would remain champion for the remainder of 2 months until the 2001 Royal Rumble when he had to face Triple H. The man who was responsible for running over Austin with Shawn Michaels as his accomplice. Triple H (1/21/01 to 2/25/01) The Game would once again defeat Angle at the 2001 Royal Rumble with of course help from his friend Shawn Michaels, but The Game would not hold on to the title for long. Triple H would rekindle his rivalry once more with The Rock at the 2001 No Way Out. The Rock (2/25/01 to 4/1/01) At No Way Out. The Rock walking into WrestleMania as WWF Champion would not be denied as He would defeat Triple H at No Way Out to capture his third WWF Championship, the WrestleMania 17 dream match between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin would eventually happen as two of the best would face off for the title. Stone Cold Steve Austin (4/1/01 to 10/21/01) The Rattlesnake was back untop of the mountain once again as he defeated The Rock at WrestleMania 17 to win the WWF Championship, there was no heel turn by Austin. Austin would go through the list of competitors that would try to dethrone him, but when the WCW Invasion rolled around and when the nWo attacked The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, nobody in the WWF was safe with the Invaders running around, At No Mercy. Hollywood Hulk Hogan would get another shot at the WWF Championship as he pinned Austin at Unforgiven. Hollywood Hulk Hogan (10/21/01 to 3/17/02) For the 10th straight time, Hollywood Hulk Hogan would recapture the title at No Mercy with help from the NWO. Hogan would remain Champion for the better part of 5 months with the nWo and WCW taking over everything, at the 2002 Royal Rumble. Austin would win the 2002 Royal Rumble once again and would challenge Hogan at WrestleMania 18 for the WWF Championship. Stone Cold Steve Austin (3/17/02 to 8/25/02) At WrestleMania 18. Austin finally regained the title for the sixth time over Hogan in another dream match, WCW would be gone but McMahon would keep the rest of the entire WCW Superstars for a brand extension meaning that it was time for a new change in the Ruthless Aggression Era. Austin would stay champion for 5 months, and at Summerslam 2002. He would face the King of The Ring Winner Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. i.pinimg.com/474x/93/6d/28/936d28cd2cbc0f0d0574698e4845ea68.jpgThat is the end of the Attitude Era.

Golden Era Championship Recap: Hulk Hogan (5) Roddy Piper (1) Paul Orndorff (1) Randy Savage (1) Mr. Perfect (1) Ultimate Warrior (1) The Undertaker (1) Ric Flair (1) Bret Hart (1) Yokozuna (8/30/93 to 1/23/94) Yokozuna had a dominant 1993 by ending the career of Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 9 and thus winning the 1993 King of The Ring, His 1993 Dominance culminated by winning the World Wrestling Federation Championship over The Hitman, before he captured the title. He was bodyslammed by Lex Luger, I'm keeping the American Made thing for a while. Yoko would feud with Luger in where Luger would chase after the WWF Championship, At the 1993 Survivor Series. Yokozuna retained the title in a Casket Match against The Undertaker while Luger won a sole survivor series Elimination Match between Team USA vs Team Foreign Fanatics. Lex Luger would earn a title match at the 1994 Royal Rumble to face Yokozuna for the title. The match would be stipulated in No Disqualifaction Rules with no Foreign Fanatics intereference at all. Luger would win the title by using the salt bucket and bodyslamming Yokozuna to get the win and capture the title. Lex Luger (1/23/94 to 3/20/94) After Luger's successful title win over Yokozuna at the 1994 Royal Rumble. The next night Bret Hart who recovered from a leg injury returned to the 1994 Royal Rumble Match and won the 1994 Royal Rumble Match by last eliminating Shawn Michaels. The next night on RAW. Luger would turn heel on Bret Hart similar to what Owen did at the Royal Rumble. At WrestleMania X. Bret will face off against Owen in the first match and against Luger in the main event. Owen wins, keeping the match the same. Bret will beat Luger for the title for the second time. Bret Hart (3/20/94 to 8/29/94) After winning the title at WrestleMania 10. Bret would survive numerous title defenses, at the 1994 King of The Ring, Bret's brother Owen would win the opportunity to gain a WWF Championship Match against his brother Bret. Bret wanted to avenge his WrestleMania loss to Owen Hart. At Summerslam. The two would battle off in a steel cage match with Owen doing the impossible once again defeating his brother Bret in a steel cage match at Summerslam with help from Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Owen Hart (8/29/94 to 11/26/94) Owen Hart did the unthinkable at Summerslam, not once did he beat Bret at the Grandest Stage of them all but finally won the big one over His Brother Bret at Summerslam. Owen stayed on as WWF Champion for three whole months, But Owen would eventually lose the title at a house show in Madison Square Garden to?, you guessed it Diesel. But the match didn't last 8 seconds, in my diary. It will last 10 minutes. The Bob Backlund Title reign will not happen. Diesel (11/26/94 to 4/2/95) Diesel who broke away from Shawn Michaels won the WWF Championship just three days after Survivor Series captured the WWF Championship over Owen Hart in 10 minutes, now Diesel did have a good reign as WWF Champion, at the 1995 Royal Rumble. He successfully defended it against Bret Hart, However Razor Ramon would become the first ever man to win the 1995 Royal Rumble at #1, now with Shawn Michaels at #2. He deserved a WrestleMania 11 opportunity and he got it, it would be Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon and Diesel in the first ever Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 11 with Razor Ramon winning the WWF Championship. Razor Ramon (4/2/95 to 8/27/95) WrestleMania was The Bad Guy's Time, Razor would hang on to the title retainin g it against members of the Million Dollar Corporation in PPV's. At the 1995 King of The Ring, Shawn Michaels won the 1995 King of The Ring and earned a shot at Razor Ramon's WWF Title at Summerslam. The two would rekindle their rivalry in a Ladder Match similar to WrestleMania 10 for the Intercontinental Championship. This time history would not repeat itself as Michaels realized his boyhood dream by capturing the WWF Championship for the first time, we are letting the Boyhood Dream Moment come early at Summerslam. Shawn Michaels (8/27/95 to 10/22/95) After Summerslam, The Heartbreak Kid was untop of the world as World Wrestling Federation Champion, but just as he was ready to defend the WWF Title against his former nemesis Sycho Sid at In Your House 4 in October. In October of 1995. Michaels was attacked by marines, he was beaten down and injured and that forced Michaels to give up the WWF Championship before his reign got started. Sycho Sid (10/22/95 to 10/22/95) But Sycho Sid's reign as Champion did not last long because Razor Ramon would be the man that would dethrone Sid and end Sid's 15-minute reign as the World Wrestling Federation Champion. pbs.twimg.com/media/D5auSwnWkAEyVKo.jpgRazor Ramon (10/22/95 to 1/21/96) Razor would recapture the belt once more making him a 2-time WWF Champion. Razor would this time hang on to the title by the end of 1995 and start off 1996 as the WWF Champion. Razor's challenger at the 1996 Royal Rumble would be against Bret "The Hitman" Hart. This time Razor's second reign as WWF Champion was dethroned once again for good as Bret Hart recaptured the title for the third straight time. Bret Hart (1/21/96 to 3/31/96) After 17 months of losing the WWF Championship, Bret Hart was untop of the mountain once more, that same night. The Heartbreak Kid made his return to the 1996 Royal Rumble Match and won the whole thing and would go on to challenge Bret Hart at WrestleMania 12 for the title in the infamous 60-Minute Ironman Match and I think we know what happens next. Shawn Michaels (3/31/96 to 8/18/96) The Boyhood Dream once again came true at WrestleMania 12 when he captured the WWF Championship in a 60-Minute Ironman Match over The Hitman. Michaels would have some grueling successful title defenses until Summerslam 1996 rolled around when Michaels took on his biggest challenge, the 450-pound mastadon Vader. At Summerslam. Michaels fought his heart out but the big man Vader would not be denied as he defeated The Heartbreak Kid to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Vader (8/18/96 to 3/23/97) With Vader's win at Summerslam. Vader pretty much became a dominant force as the World Wrestling Federation Champion holding back challenger after challenger after challenger including Shawn Michaels at the 1996 Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden, Bret Hart in December and Shawn Michaels again at the 1997 Royal Rumble, but Vader's time would run out when The Undertaker won the 1997 Royal Rumble, by 1997. Vader dumped Jim Cornette and had Paul Bearer as his manager who betrayed The Undertaker in 1996. The Undertaker after 5 years of trying to gain back the most prestigious Championship would finally not be denied. The Undertaker (3/23/97 to 8/3/97) The Deadman finally was back in the Dark Days once again as the World Wrestling Federation Champion, he had an unique load of title defenses defending it against all comers including fighting off a secret that was given by The Undertaker's old manager Paul Bearer in which he revealed that The Undertaker killed his family in a fire. At Summerslam. The Phenom took on Bret Hart who had a recent change of attitude when he returned to the WWF after WrestleMania 12. At Summerslam, with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. The deck was stacked against The Hitman who stated that if he lost he would never wrestle in American Soil ever again. The Hitman would eventually fight off the odds with Shawn Michaels inadverently hitting The Undertaker with a steel chair and Bret would win back the title for the fourth time and of course you know what would set up next! Bret Hart (8/3/97 to 11/9/97) Yes, I'm talking about the infamous moment in WWF History in where Bret remained the WWF Champion for a total of three months after Shawn had defeated The Undertaker with the help of The Undertaker's brother Kane in the first ever Hell in A Cell Match. Bret and Shawn would rekindle the rivalry, in 1997. There was a personal real life drama backstage between the two with the whole Sunny incident. Plus, Bret would have to leave WWF to go to WCW meaning that the New Generation Era would come to an end, and a new era would be born, the Attitude Era. The no more Say Your Vitamins, the Oooh Yeahs and the Power of The Warriors were no more. At the 1997 Survivor Series, the Montreal Screwjob went into effect and the rest was history, Shawn Michaels was now a 3-time World Wrestling Federation Champion. And the New Generation Era came to a head. The Rebooking of the WWE Championship will continue with the Attitude Era.
