Nothing against the new mod obviously, just pointing out that this is the first time since 2006 that I haven't considered the mod to be apart of my generation of simming. We're getting old. was there really another generation after 2006-2008 though?

ah. the pains of trying to find a format and writing style that i like. ...actually never mind found something i'm happy with. now to listen to shamrock's theme on repeat and figure out how he's going to go for world domination I would assume he's going to go for it by pounding the sh-t out of the faces of everyone on the top half of the card. mankind will never be the same again. anyway i've got the first raw written, just going to hold off posting it until its not three in the morning so i can figure out if it makes sense.

i'm doubtful it would work, even with just three people - its still takes a decent amount of commitment. i do remember a few of the older ones being initially really fun though, setting up the rosters, schedules and everything else. i'd quite like to see one of the nwa styled ones get off the ground though, i think it'd make for a fun read. some sort of "interviews" could be fun too. i tried the idea years back, it was somewhat successful if i remember correctly... i'd imagine it would have been worked better had it not been for my pretty subpar interviewing. the idea of a podcast is interesting too, but, they never get properly running either. Holy sh-t it's Hazuki. Where have you been brother?! i'm not even sure where i've been, not posting on anything i suppose. quite the funny coincidence that we happened to post around a similar time though, its not often that i get on here now. i feel like starting up a diary sometime soon, not exactly sure what but i definitely want to start something.

So I know these have never worked and stuff but I'll throw the line out there and see what I can get: anyone wanna try a big joint diary like the many failed NWA ones? Each guy (I'm thinking three to five so if one falls off either another could pick it up or just absorb the territory and move on but on the off chance it does work we could add more people and build out the territories to cover the whole country) runs their own territory and we all have shared titles plus our own areal titles, one supercard a year for each region, etc. I mean, we could do a modern era one with all the current dudes or a classic one, I don't give a damn. Anyone interested? i'm doubtful it would work, even with just three people - its still takes a decent amount of commitment. i do remember a few of the older ones being initially really fun though, setting up the rosters, schedules and everything else. i'd quite like to see one of the nwa styled ones get off the ground though, i think it'd make for a fun read. some sort of "interviews" could be fun too. i tried the idea years back, it was somewhat successful if i remember correctly... i'd imagine it would have been worked better had it not been for my pretty subpar interviewing. the idea of a podcast is interesting too, but, they never get properly running either.

Shame no one had a Chris Beniot POV sim. That would have been real amusing to look through. a benoit pov sounds like a great idea. lots of waking up at five in the morning to work out, forcing paul london and brian kendrick to eat lots of steak and german suplexes. its got potential

i'm not sure how proboards could cause you to lose anything though? i've never had anything disappear on me, i could just be lucky i guess, but in years i've not had anything happen. the new layout/design of proboards is quite horrible though, and i'm still trying to get used to it. i don't think it added anything helpful or useful. anyway i'm going to attempt to do a few more shows for my WCW today. and possibly reply to a few diaries.

you've really over done the "special" entrances, and the majority of which don't make sense or fit the time period. i understand making yokozuna look dominate against savage, but why have savage get up from the attack? the banzai drop at this point should a massively devastating move. having razor interfere in the main event completely takes away from the match. and surely if razor was wanting a match with bret, he'd want him to retain the title? the card seems a little stacked for a early-mid 90s wrestlemania too. although i don't have that many problems with the card that you've got... its just little things that take away from it. also the writing needs major work, things don't make much sense and the grammar is quite poor. not that i'm expecting amazing writing, its just a little all over the place.

WCW Monday Night Nitro - 3/22/99 - Panama City, FL
This weeks Nitro begins as we pan around the arena - as WCW presents Spring Breakout 1999!
Chavo Guerrero defeats Mikey Whipwreck, Super Calo & Psicosis following a Brainbuster on Whipwreck.
A video package airs showing WCW's involvement with the Spring Break celebrations, including Buff Bagwell, Raven among others.
In the ring, Chris Jericho has a microphone. He says that tonight he'll show Ric Flair why the name Chris Jericho should be in the United States title tournament.
Chris Jericho defeats Vincent with the Lionsault.
Ricki Rachman is surrounded by a number of fans, ready to interview Disco Inferno. Inferno claims that Konnan's music video is awful and that he doesn't have the talent of the Disco Inferno. He goes on to challenge Konnan at Spring Stampede.
An advertisement for Spring Stampede airs. Order now!
Backstage, Hardcore Hak is attacking any object in sight with his cane.
In his office, Ric Flair is with JJ Dillon. The two are discussion the eight names to feature for the United States title. Following the conversation... a graphic for the tournament appears. Featuring the names of Booker T, Scott Steiner, Chris Jericho, Fit Finlay, Raven, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit
Meng defeats Rick Steiner with the Asian Spike.
Backstage again a number of cruiserweight wrestlers can be pushing and shouting at each other... each claiming that they should be the number one contender for the cruiserweight championship.
Goldberg defeats Hardcore Hak with the Spear.
Following a short commercial break, Bret Hart is out for an interview with Mean Gene. Hart says that he's been in World Championship Wrestling for more than a year and a half and he's done nothing. He's had not World Championship Title opportunities. Yet a bunch of talentless jokes have. Hart runs down a number of names, and claims he's better than Flair and that he could easily beat Bill Goldberg. Hart throws down the microphone after saying he's sick and tired of how things are run, and things are going to change.
The Nitro girls dance us into the commercial break, and the next hour of Monday Night Nitro.
In the WCW parking lot, Vincent, Stevie Ray, Horace and Brian Adams are arguing about leadership of the nWo. However a brawl breakouts between the four.
Dean Malenko vs. Perry Saturn (US Title Tournament Round 1) ends in a No Contest.
During the match, as Saturn was gaining the upper hand, Chris Benoit ran out and attacked him. As Benoit and Malenko beat down Saturn, Raven makes the save. Tony Schiavone explains that both men are now eliminated from the tournament.
Vampiro defeats Norman Smiley with the Vampiro Spike.
Ricki Rachman is interviewing members of the audience, asking them how they are enjoying tonights show.
In the ring, Ric Flair says he is a defending champion and he'll show everyone so tonight in the main event. And he's giving any wrestler on the roster an opportunity to go for the gold. Arn Anderson brings out a lottery tumbler, spins and draws a number. After building anticipation the name drawn is... El Dandy?! Flair lets out a woo, and says tonights the chance for El Dandy. Mike Tenay voices his suspicion of the names featured in the lottery.
Buff Bagwell defeats Hugh Morrus with the Buff Blockbuster
A video airs for Thursday's Thunder. More matches for the US title tournament will be contested.
Ric Flair defeats El Dandy with the Figure-Four Leglock
As Flair celebrates, he's attacked from no where and hit with the Jackknife Powerbomb from Kevin Nash.

Mene Gene is in the interview area ready to talk with Curt Hennig. Hennig explains a disgust for Ric Flair's actions on the recent edition of Monday Night Nitro, after he refused to compete in a match. Hennig claims that a President shouldn't be abusing their powers in such a way, he then challenges Flair to a match later tonight.
Konnan defeats Mikey Whipwreck with the Tequila Sunrise.

Disco Inferno's "special" version of Konnan's music video is recapped from Nitro.

Hak defeats Scotty Riggs with the White Russian Legsweep.
In the ring - Mean Gene is in position to interview WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. The Champion says that he's sick and tired of giving people what they now, and he's now focusing on himself. He goes on to explain that Curt Hennig is not receiving a title match tonight because he hasn't earned it. Instead he'll go one-on-one with Flair's fellow Horseman, Dean Malenko. Continuing Flair claims he had scheduled a meeting between himself and United States Champion, Scott Hall however Hall did not show up and as a result will be stripped of his United States title - for his unprofessional behaviour.
