finally watched Batman happy i could watch it at home and break it into three viewings, I would’ve dried up in the theatre from how long it is. When you got done watching it did you become all dark & listened to depressing music? 🤣 exactly what I did, blasted some beach boys’ pet sounds album for some extra brooding

never, i dont get it. its an over glorified TNA I don’t think there’s a large crossover of Alex Jones to AEW fans.

I share the general consensus: when he’s motivated and the material is good, he can do great stuff. but he can also be like watching paint dry when he’s checked out, which has been at times for long periods.

there’s an argument to say it’s wrestling, there’s an argument to suggest it’s not wrestling.
both are valid in their own right, despite whatever invalidation efforts others may attempt.
is hardcore wrestling not wrestling? to some, it is not, as it betrays their definition and understanding of it. to others, they say there is a ring and moves and it’s predetermined, that is wrestling. both have reasoning.

gotta wonder if there’s gonna be some female talent dismissed soon enough if the rumoured attire meeting being skipped by some is a legit report.

it was fun while it lasted, but I don’t feel it benefitted the wrestling industry overall

been back at it for a week now, happy with how things are coming along. getting a bit older works against me but there’s benefits, and muscle memory is going to be a saving grace

i share accounts with family but i personally really don't use streaming apps or watch much tv. maybe 2-3 documentaries a year will catch my interest..
if i wanna watch a movie, chances are it's not on any of those services, so i just buy it from youtube

How can a cable company know every channel you watch and every button you press on your remote, but be oblivious when their signal is being interrupted or when their faulty equipment is having to be reset 20 times a day? Big Brother is watching your every move` I didn’t take you as a big Orwell fan, JC

I grew up in a small town in southwestern Ontario, I actually grew up on a farm outside it
really enjoyed growing up there in some ways, also was boring at times. happy I got out to the city but I wouldn’t mind returning once I’m older. simpler life out there.

Bret, Undertaker and Lex were all terribly underutilized in 1995. Bret was doing comedy feuds with Lawler, evil dentists and pirates. Undertaker was super over, but still doing nothing of significance. Lex just floated along aimlessly. Rebooking the WWF 1995 is a popular topic because it doesn't take a genius to give those guys something better to do especially when you look at the state of the company at that time I hated the lawler/Bret feud and I hated the Backlund feud too. Bret deserved better

One thing AEW purists wanted and what drives them to push for other wrestling companies is not being insulted. We inferred Cody's actions were purposeful, leading to some heel turn that if played well enough, would have boosted both sides with him becoming the World strapholder. Over time the boos became more and more authentic because nothing was advancing on that front, and now it's clear Rhodes was just being selfish instead of helping out by listening to the crowd. Perhaps he did have some grand plan in his mind to have his next World title be at Titan Towers or whatever, but he didn't do himself nor AEW much good in the process. Can't complain that you only arrived at a certain destination because you followed the path you were given, when there were plenty of off-ramps along the way. I was more so talking about the hilarity of the couple of members who insisted Cody was getting booed as part of this big plan and anyone that didn’t agree with it they insulted and claim they were being worked. They worked themselves into a shoot, or whatever. Nothing wrong in wanting something to go a certain direction. It’s being so sure that it’s the only direction and bashing anyone that isn’t traveling down that same road that’s ironic. I can admit that I was wrong on the Cody thing. it’s you that hasn’t admitted to any of the plethora of double standards you’ve been called on. which is very ironic

yeah, apparently it was Tony who just let Cody be Cody and was aware of how it was being perceived and Cody just worked himself into a weird type of shoot.
what’s far more hilarious is the people who pander to AEW loving Cody now and hating him while he was in AEW despite it being the same schtick.
