I would buy them all apart from Andre. I only started watching wrestling in the early 90s so I have no interest in the Andre.

am i the only one that has no interest in this series, ive seen them all and have passed Same. I don't see anything special in this series apart from the HOF stand but I don't want to buy a figure I don't want just for that.

Looking at this so far MDT really need to throw Dude Love in to the line. Any body know why they haven't? Collectors want him and the colours and the fact he is Mick Foley will be far more appealing to the younger generations than the likes of most flashbacks. Look how well Mankind and Cactus Jack did! Any body know why he is being over looked?

A bunch of them. Mainly Doink, Gangrel, Godfather, Dude Love, Crash. A-Train wasn't "born" until late 2002 though. Good point. I missed that. On another note, it would be an easy flashback making A-train. Since he's under contract already.

Cheers guys. I think the basic line is a very under rated line. The figures are just what they say, basic. However, Mattel cut the cost by not adding accessories where as Jakks used to cut corners on attire. The attires seem spot on with the basic line. Mattel don't seem to lazy out and cut corners. The series 14 HBK is a prime example of this. One of my favourite figures that I have ever owned.
Oh on another note has anyone managed to find a way to remove Orton's vest? I was going to try it but I think it looks too good to risk cutting off. If it comes to it I will just buy the old evolution look Orton. I'm only trying to buy on of each wrestler but I think I am going to need to make some exceptions soon. Such as if a DX basic HHH is released, or a throw back Taker. Collecting is far too addictive.

As the title says, I have only been collecting for 6 weeks. I am trying to buy the rarer figures I want first then get the more common figures such as Cena at a later date. I was only collecting basics but I gave in yesterday and bought the RSC exclusive all pink attire Bret from eBay. I have been very lucky with some of my buys, such as the Entrance greats Rey. I won it on eBay for just under £8 posted. Well worth that price in my opinion, considering basics are anywhere between £9-11. The detail on the figure is amazing. I'm disappointed I missed this line at retail as I would love to add the whole line to my collection. Looking for the EG Taker at the moment. I like the Taker I have but I just look at the scans on the basic Takers and non of them seem to cut it for me, except the Entrance greats. I am also awaiting another figure from the EG line at the moment. Yes, I bought Y2J from the USA for $17 posted to the UK. Another great bargain in my eyes, I think it's by far the best Mattel Jericho. The HHH I own (WM22) attire is amazing. I honestly thought it would be just a generic HHH figure to just fill the gap on the shelf but I love the figure. Everything feels right about it from the attire to the scale and the amazing scan. Well worth picking up. If anybody has any suggestions on who I should add to my collection next, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I wouldn't risk ruining a figure doing that.

Entrance Greats arn't that expensive if you find them for the right price on the Bay. EDIT: I bought my EG Jericho for around $20, if I remember right. In the UK they are ridiculously priced.

I've just started collecting again and would like to add a few figures to my collection. All my collection is basics and I plan on keeping it all basic. I just want to know which is the best figure to get of the following superstars:
The Undertaker Hhh Cm Punk Orton Cena John Morrison Jericho Christian Big show Batista
Id rather avoid entrance greats, just for the price. And would like older attires such as evolution orton. Thanks in advance for any replies.
