if they want to make Pete Dunne legit again. Have him be the guy to beat Gunther Read a rumor today that Triple H wants to give him the Pete Dunne name/Bruiserweight gimmick back after Wrestlemania. but he'd be sent back down to NXT Yes please... like a million times over. Dunne vs Dragunov, McDonagh, Hayes, Crews, DeAngelo, Axiom, etc... so hope this rumor is true.

Recently watched...
The Whale. Great acting performances, but overall, a fairly dull film.
Cocaine Bear. What a remarkably awful movie. I get that it was meant to be kinda goofy and not at all taken seriously. And hell, i even like a good bad movie from time to time. But this was still beyond terrible in every way.

Almost impossible for me to pick just five albums as favorites. Even harder to pick just one favorite album from some artists...
- A Perfect Circle: Eat The Elephant. I could honestly say that any of A Perfect Circle's four albums are nearly perfect IMHO, but Eat The Elephant is genuinely the best album I've heard in years.
- Alice Cooper: Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Alice Cooper might just be my all time favorite musical artist and while he did, admittedly, have a lull in the 80s, he has a bunch of stellar albums. I particularly like his concept albums, Welcome 2 My Nightmare being my favorite of those.
- Jewel: Spirit. Jewel is another artist whom it's near impossible for me to pick just one album because honestly, everything she's put out has been excellent (even the pop heavy 0304, which was a big departure for her stylistically at the time). I chose Spirit because it's the first album I really just fell in love with and listened to on repeat time and time again.
- Marilyn Manson: Holy Wood. For a long time, Marilyn Manson was my favorite band. I'll admit that they/he has fallen off a lot in recent albums (although, I though We Are Chaos was pretty great), but the stretch of albums from Antichrist Superstar through Eat Me, Drink Me are superb. I'm very tempted to list Mechanical Animals as my favorite of his as it it a genuinely stellar album, but Holy Wood gets the nod today.
- HIM: Dark Light. HIM is another band who's basically not put out a bad album. Seriously any of theirs could be my favorite depending on the day.
- Johnny Cash: The American Recordings. All six of them. Yeah, I know, it's more than just one album, but I feel like the six American Recordings albums are best experienced together. It is truly an amazing experience and his already legendary voice takes on a gravitas throughout that is nearly unmatched. Subtle as it may be at times, you can really hear him pouring the emotion into each song.
Okay, I know that's six (or eleven if you want to get technical), but rules are made to be broken, right?
Honorable Mentions... - Soul Asylum: Black Gold - Liquid Gang: Sunshine - A Fine Frenzy: One Cell In The Sea - UPO: The Heavy - KidneyTheives: Trickster Reprocessed - Tapping The Vein: Another Day Down - Ours: Distorted Lullabies - Matchbox Twenty: Yourself Or Someone Like You - The Goo Goo Dolls: Dizzy Up The Girl - The Smashing Pumpkins: Mellon Collie & The Infinate Sadness - Lifehouse: No Name Face

'99 Pontiac Sunfire
It was the special sun and sound edition with a power sunroof and upgraded stereo system. Loved it, but only had it for less than a year when a three quarter ton pickup blew threw a stop light at fifteen mph over the limit and plowed into me. Wrecked the car so bad they totaled it. Kinda of a blessing in disguise though as I was going through some crap and was quickly approaching not being able to afford the payments.
Bought myself a '94 Ford Probe a little after that and put some custom decals on and a new speaker system with cd deck in it myself. Absolutely loved that car and still kinda miss it sometimes. Had to sell it before we moved to Florida, but did get five hundred bucks more than I paid for it, so wasn't too bad a deal.

Elijah Burke. Great mic skills, really good in the ring, and a great look. Honestly, on paper, he had everything you need to be a huge star. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it never happened. I feel like if he would have been starting his WWE career in the black and gold NXT era, he'd go on to be a huge star in the future, so maybe he was just 20 years too soon.

I always felt like I was the only one who thought Paige was one of the most overrated in-ring performers of her generation. People struggle to tell you five amazing matches she actually had! Her being in AEW does nothing at all for me whatsoever, such a weird signing for them to make. You're not the only one. IMHO, her work in NXT was pretty good. Not of the caliber of Emma, Bayley, Sasha Banks, or Charlotte, but definitely better than most. Once she got to the main roster, she seemed to regress, like, a lot. Don't know if it was personal issues effecting her in ring work or if she simply plateaued, but she's not nearly on the same level as her contemporaries from her generation of female talent. I will say, depending on how much she's making and whether or not she stays healthy, it's a good signing by AEW. She will immediately bring eyes to the AEW women's ranks. Plus, even with being far overshadowed in talent by WWE's women's roster, if she's still as good as when she last wrestled, she's at least in the top half of AEWs women's division as far as talent and does bring some experience that some of the other ladies may be able to learn from.

Some of my personal dumbest decisions in wrestling...
WCW and TNA both letting Hogan and friends have so much backstage pull because it terribly effected the on screen product.
WCW announcing that Mick Foley was going to win the WWE Championship on RAW that night. Millions of people switched the channel and basically never went back.
WWE relaunching ECW. The show actually wasn't bad for the most part, but calling it ECW was a huge mistake as it made the audience expect a product WWE weren't willing to offer them.
Changing NXT into NXT 2.0. Should have had NXT invade, leading to them winning SmackDown at Survivor Series so you had NXT SmackDown (more wrestling focused) and WWE RAW (more storyline/entertainment focused). Would have offered two different styles of products to you audience.
Not allowing WCW to survive in name and running it like a separate company after WWE bought the assets. (Note... not sure if that would have been possible or not, depends on the purchase contract).
Lex Luger not winning the WWE title at SummerSlam 93.

I was always a big fan of Elijah Burke. I know he managed to carve out a pretty good career in TNA/Impact and on the indies, but always thought he should have been a bigger deal in WWE.

Dragunov injured now, will be relinquishing the NXT UK title Really? That flippin' sucks. I imagine they'll do a tournament. I say let Trent Seven or Noam Dar win the whole thing and be the new champion.

I seem to buy games way more than play them. Have 230+ PS4 games on my system. Have only played about 7 of them, only 3 all the way through.
I am absolutely terrible at games I used to easily beat as a kid. Fired up my RetroPie the other day to tinker with a new controller and played some X-Men 2: The Clone Wars. I pretty easily beat this while game in one sitting as a kid. Couldn't get past the first level without turning on an infinite health cheat. Don't feel bad about it either.
I still have the PS2 I bought on launch day and it still works flawlessly.
I'm a 38 year old man and my favorite games are LEGO games. LEGO City Undercover being my all time favorite game.

What ever happened to A-Kid? He made a couple of appearances in NXT 2.0 then disappeared. Is he going to be the next victim of a new name and new gimmick? “A-Kid” is probably the worst name in the history of wrestling and he’s done okay for himself, so he probably won’t be fazed by any name. I wonder if he named himself A-Kid so he’d always be at the top of promoter’s contacts when they’re going through their phone looking to book people for their next show. If I remember correctly, the name A-Kid comes from when he was breaking into the business. Some promoter told him he wouldn't use him because he was nothing special. That he was just a kid. He disagreed and started calling himself A-Kid from then on. I think I remember there being a video package where he explained the origin of his name on a NXT UK episode. Pretty sure it was around the inaugural Heritage Cup tournament.

IMHO Theory definitely has the tools needed to be a huge star in the wrestling business. The parallels people are drawing in comparing him to Cena aren't without merit. There is a lot of similarity there.
I will say that right now, whether it Theory or really anyone else... No one will ever be allowed to get beyond a certain level. There is not just a glass ceiling in place these days, there's a six inch thick sheet of bulletproof plexiglass painted black for anyone not named Roman Reigns (or Brock Lesnar when he's around). It's abundantly clear that WWE (aka Vince) think Reigns vs Rock is the be all, end all match of history and he's apparently willing to sacrifice anything and everything, including the momentum of many wrestlers doing stellar work right now, to build one guy up as much as he can until Rock is available for the match. Until that match happens, no one else will ever be allowed to climb all the way to the top.

I've liked it from the beginning, but have to admit there were very few guys I really cared about and I ended up fast forwarding through most of the matches.
CM Punk returning to wrestling and guys like Adam Cole, Malakai Black, and Miro caught my intrigue for sure as I was big fans of theirs in WWE/NXT. But Bryan Danielson was really THE one signing that cemented me as an AEW fan and frankly, the product as a whole got much better once he was known to be arriving. Makes sense. He's without question (at least IMHO) the best professional wrestler in the world so him being there is going to make everyone else step up their game a bit.

Almost anything (with a few exceptions) featuring Hulk Hogan or Goldberg were instant borefests for me. Even as a kid, I seemed to gravitate more towards the workrate style guys such as Bret Hart, Macho Man, Mr Perfect, Malenko, Jericho, etc...
I actually didn't care much for hardcore style wrestling either back in my younger years. I loved stuff like Flair vs Funk in the I Quit match or a bloody battle like Hart vs Bulldog at In Your House or Cactus Jack's brand of hardcore, but the ECW style of hardcore with just random weapons and blood for blood's sake didn't appeal to me much. At least not until later in life when I learned to appreciate it when it was done well.
Although it was more my teen years than childhood, I hated (and kinda still do) just about anything with The Rock in it. Again, there were some exceptions, but to me he's always been a great stick man and painfully mediocre in the ring. Also always pissed me off how terribly lazy his 'sharpshooter' was.

Hopefully soon IMO. I know everyone seems gaga over him now, but I find any segment or match he's in to be the most boring and uninteresting part of the shows for about the past year or so. Far too many people who are way more talented than Reigns doing excellent work right now for someone like Roman to be holding both top titles hostage, so the sooner he decides he's done with wrestling, the better off the rest of the roster will be if you ask me.

I asked one of my mates on Facebook if the Eddie was fixed in to the low rider but he was keeping it MOC. Don't know if it's been cleared up yet for those wondering like myself, but I tried haha. He's fixed in there. I mean, I'm sure someone who wanted to enough could cut him out with a hair dryer and exacto knife or something, but he is attached in the car, not just standing in there loose.

Anybody else notice how the odd cuts on the Broken Skull sessions? I noticed when the guest was talking after so long the screen would start to fade black while the person was still talking & audio cuts. Like they’re going to a commercial break. It’s very odd. It’s not like a natural cut. I noticed this too. Figure it's just where a commercial break would be if I didn't have the commercial free peacock.

The thing is... It was painfully obvious from the very moment he left WWE that Cody's goal was always to come back to WWE a bigger star than he left. Everything he did on the indies and (I firmly believe) his entire involvement in AEW founding was a means to that end. That's not to say he didn't care about his work in New Japan, ROH, and especially AEW. I think he truly did put his all in it, but the end goal was always to become a big enough star that WWE would want him back and he couldn't be denied a main event spot. Had he not been so instrumental in AEW's founding, I'm not sure WWE (ie Vince) is as intensely interested in bringing him back. But, the allure of being able to (unofficially) say they signed a founding father and executive officer of AEW was just too good to pass up. So I say Bravo! to Cody for accomplishing his goal.

Have had it Pre-Ordered on PS4 for a year and a half already. LEGO games are my favorite video games and while there's probably a dozen or more franchises I'd like to see get the Lego game treatment instead of another Star Wars installment, it's still a Lego video game, so I'm excited. Probably be a while before I actually play it though, I'm backed up like crazy on games and have Six or seven other Lego games to play first.
