Thanks for the update! Will we be able to pre-order Vlad with the guardrail once it gets closer to production? Vlad will come with a guard rail accessory if you pre-order before its in stock, guaranteed! We're working to finalize the packaging and should have more updates on Vlad very soon. I really like the preorder early bird discount. It does make me feel better about having to wait. It's not much money but it's a great goodwill gesture Thanks! I know pre-orders are a bummer, so trying to add some value on the collector's end! Colt doesn't look too bad, tbh. These figures actually look better than I expected. I'll definitely be getting the Patriot. Didn't somebody else have him lined up? Our goal's to be better with every release. If you look at the evolution of our figures so far it shows. Someone else did have the Patriot lined up, but the family/estate of Del Wilkes had no involvement and was not aware. If any other products for Patriot pop up outside of FC Toys, they're not licensed by the family/estate. Patriot looks great, I'll definitely be buying that (not sure if this is a prototype with plans to articulate the arm, or if it will be permanently posed that way, but it looks like a solid figure will likely be buying a couple of Colts too, that looks like a good figure I'm somewhat disappointed with the Buff, I didn't like the arms from the concept art, but seeing that figure doesn't make me feel like it's worth investing in Patriot's arm will have the articulation at the elbow and will be resized to the correct 4.5 inch size. Buff and Patriot's height were a little taller, so we're correcting that before the mold process. With the 'retro' style, there's only so many poses. Buff's double bicep pose is one that is synonymous with him so it made sense to try something different with him. I hope we can win you over with the final product! Thanks for the pics! They look good, not sure which Colt I’ll wanna get. Buff has the same legs as Effy, which is totally fine to me and a smart move. Still looks like a prototype, hopefully it’ll polish up a bit Patriot will be a great addition Buff's legs are actually different than Effy's. I guess, the design concept is the same, but they won't be the same molds. Excited for Patriot and Buff! Like others said though they could both use some adjustments. I like Buff w/the glasses so that's cool, don't think I need the other head. And I hope they articulate the arm on Patriot, doesn't need to swivele up like the Mattels, just so the elbow bends like the Hasbros did. And could we get that Ultiomo Dragon, Macho and Glacier as Retros PLEASE? Buff will come with removable glasses and hat. For prototype purposes, we did one with molded and one without molded glasses. Buff will be like our BCW Macho Man, with indentations that will allow the glasses to stay in place or be removed, and covered by painted hair color so it won't be distracting if you take them off. --- Squared Circle Expo was a blast, thanks to everyone from wfigs that stopped by and said hello! All the feedback has been great and the constructive feedback very helpful!

Hi!
Its been a while (staind) since there was an update on things for WSW.
We're going to do several reveals for Series 2 of Wrestle-Something Wrestlers at Squared Circle Expo in Indianapolis on March 30. If you are there, please stop by and say hello! Effy & The Headbangers will be among the guests, a perfect way to get your figures signed!
The plastic injection for Colt Cabana is complete. The painting & packaging will take about 3-4 weeks to complete.
Mike Chioda's figure molds are in the works. An early bird pre-order with discount will be available for 2 weeks, and after that it will go to standard pricing! Early bird pre-order will begin very soon.
Mike Chioda will release with the standard Series 1 WSW carding, and also a limited chase edition carding, featuring a retro color scheme!
Vladimir the Superfan's molds are in production. The prototype we initially teased was a placeholder, the updated version will be shown soon! We initially thought April for release date, but it will be closer to June/July. Those who've pre-ordered Vlad will get a bonus barricade guard rail piece! Vladimir will also include a chase edition limited carding with retro color scheme!
Should be a fun year for all collectors, and especially fun for collectors of FC stuff. Really excited to show you what we have planned!

Happy holidays friends! If you ordered from FC, we're waiting for POP and Demo to arrive from overseas. I'm hopeful that it won't be too long!

The difficulty with that is the materials are not the same anyway, so the figures will never truly be BCAs as we knew them. What we saw previewed with Meanie and Clark is an attempt to improve upon the BCA skin tone, and I’m fully in support of that. To be honest with you, I wish Meanie had more color. Clark I was skeptical of until I had it in hand and realized how much I’d always wanted a BCA with that level of tan. I don’t want them to revert back to a ghostly pale complexion. I just want them to look like they fit in with the BCAs when you look at them on a shelf. These skin tones aren’t going to allow for that to be the case. I want everyone to be on board with what we're doing, especially if you're a huge fan of the BCA style like us. But I must respectfully disagree. Here's two iconic BCA figures with nice tans. If they were pale they wouldn't have looked quite right. If I recall correctly, the BCA Warrior was changed from a pale skin tone to his tan self before final release!

Things have looked bad for the line at seemingly every point during the run only to then a little while later hear Bill or someone else at Mattel speak supportively about the line, so who knows what their numbers actually look like, the margain might be very good on each figure meaning a relatively small number of sales might be all that’s needed. I think we definitely have support within Mattel from those who were passionate about the Hasbros to have gotten the Retros this far. But we should definitely be grateful for whatever we get though; if 10 is the end at least we’ve got Diesel. I'm still new to collecting this line. Is there no new figured announced for next year? It seems the boxsets are still selling on ringside. I made this video in 2021, before the big retro figure boom. It could use an update lol

-Colt will be coming in January-February. -Mike Chioda will be either up for pre order or in production around March/April. sorry to be pedantic here, but when you say "coming" in this context, do you mean "coming" as in shipping from factory, arriving at FC's warehouse for distribution, or "coming" as in going up for pre-order in Jan-Feb, with production starting at some point after (probably around March onwards) also, I REALLY hope the Chioda figure looks better than the artwork to date, as it would be good to get a few decent ref figures
Headbangers are in final painting! I was told they're about 20 days away but I'm hopeful it'll be sooner than that. We also have variants coming, limited to 250 units. They will NOT cost a dime over our standard edition figures. It's important to us to keep prices low even for limited items. Support the people that support you. Chioda will look different than what we've seen on packaging! Same with Colt, he will look different than what we've seen so far. I'm really happy with where things are at with the series 1 and we're working to fill out series 2. Trying to avoid the mistakes of other companies and backlog hundreds of different wrestlers, who then have to wait ages before they see a figure they agreed to do! Effy's molds are done and plastic has been casted. I expect this to take a little longer because of all the hand painting required for Effy. Maybe 60 days away from completion? We've already turned in the card artwork, its all up to our partners at the factory now! Colt Cabana's molds are expected to be finished by mid-November. We're projecting he'll be ready around January. We've held off on pre-orders for the rest of series 1 to get the production further along, so that the wait isn't as long between ordering and delivery. Happy to answer any questions here! Thanks for taking the time to create a thread for us @Chair.Shot !

was Chella's company motto "Silence is the name of the game" or something? ? Too many cooks behind the scenes it seemed Could you elaborate with this? This is news as I was only ever aware Charles was making decisions until I tried to help out last summer

Has anyone, received a shipping notification from asylum on their epic series 2 figures yet ? Haven’t seen any social updates when they will start shipping. We (FC) just began shipping ours out today. I imagine the majority will hit the road this week, and finish by early next week at the pace we're on!

Love to see this: 3Lephant (Naptown Icon) What would you say is the likelihood that pre-orders ship by the end of August? Wrestling figure gods willing, we will stay on track to meet that deadline! Should also have a picture update on at least one of the molds before the end of this week!

The ironic thing about all this: If Epic hadn't have taken over, people who preordered their figures would never have got them. Chella was down the pan and not being cared about. As someone who worked with Chella I was owed money for a long time by them...and not a small amount either. I'm not one for bringing up crap when it's not needed, but it boils my piss to hear what's happening right now. Epic are actually the ones making series 2 happen. They showed completed samples (not painted prototypes) at FTLOW this year...clearly showing these things in production. Sure the wait time may have been longer than you wanted, and the updates may not have been as frequent as you like, but there are updates. If I preorder a mezco or hot toys figure (which are 3+ times more expensive) these are often hit with delays with no updates...it happens. If this causes you too much of an issue with waiting don't preoder. Try your luck when they come in stock. You're not being forced to preorder it. There would be no series 2 without Epic. Simple as that. I respectfully disagree. FC was in a position to buy Chella until a different deal was made without our knowledge. Its water under the bridge now, and trust me, we're overjoyed we didn't buy Chella, but it pains me to keep reading this narrative without the proper facts being out there. Its great that they took over and figures are coming, but they were not the only potential buyers. These figures were never at risk of not being released.

Why are these 50 a piece? $50 each is a great value considering these are low print, include a ton of paint detail, and are heavy AF. If you consider each figure weighs at least 1 pound with packaging, what do you gather it would cost to send 2000 pounds of figures from China to the United States? Additionally, shipping a 2lb box from the East to West Coast can cost upwards of $16-18, even with shipping discounts. With that said they still offer free shipping. $50 free shipping for one of these is tremendous!

Mosh and Thrasher look like must-buys to me. I love Colt the human being but that is a bad figure. Man I hope he gets a Jazwares figure because I don’t want to support how bad this figure is no me (the face specifically; the rest looks fine). Chelsea looks ok but there might be some chromosome confusion going on. Effy reminds me more of an LJN but it’s not awful. Mike Chioda…yikes. Bad face and poor pose. We had to submit Chelsea's packaging pretty early on in the process several months ago. The figures you see on the back were early designs! Effy & Chioda at that point were colorized 3D renders. What we have for Colt is better than what you see on the back of Chelsea's card. Also, for the peeps who don't recall, Chioda used to hold up that hand pose when he would signal a 2 count, much more than the standard "peace" hand for two. With that said, he will be released with alternate hands so you can have'em however you like! Fun fact: I don't think we've really publicly stated this, but FC Toys was started by two guys who met thanks to Wfigs way back in 2002. JoSh is one of my absolute best friends and without him neither BCW or WSW would be happening. We're always around to answer questions, take in feedback, or chat figures. He's also the brains behind the Figure Collections database/app that has over 50,000 figures with a collection manager feature! If you haven't messed around with that yet I strongly encourage you to do so!

I have the Ryu and love it! Definitely getting all of these, but will probably keep my roster limited to those that appeared in the SNES games

We're not going the sketch route. The prototypes haven't been revealed yet, but were approved several months ago and have been quietly in production

Do you happen to have the source for this? I've been digging and haven't found any specific info! I'm a member of a few Mortal Kombat groups on Facebook and someone asked Todd on Twitter if any new MK figures were being released and he supposedly told them that the company no longer has the licence. I would hate it to be true, but it does look likely because no new MK figures have been announced for this year at all and MK 12 is looming. From what I recall this was rumored about a year ago and then they hit us with some more figures. I don't mean to be a downer but hopefully someone else gets the license who will put more time into the classic MK roster instead of 15 Spawns
