It's been moved? No need to ever check out this Mattel thread page again!

Those are individual cases and do not look wall mountable. I'm looking for one case that is similar that is wall mountable that can hold a few dozen. Not sure how I would connect all of those individual walmart cases?

If you saw the pics or videos, you saw what looked like a wall mountable acrylic display case Mattel was using at their SDCC booth. It had individual cubes for each figure to sit in. Do they or RSC make these or does anyone know where we can buy them? I'm looking for one that holds 40-50 figures.

Got a few questions I hope you guys can help me with. 1) What parts are interchangeable between elites and basics? I figure that heads, upper arms, forearms, hands, lower legs/kick pads, and feet are interchangeable and crotches and upper legs aren't. Is this correct? Can basic torsos be put on elite legs? Are there exceptions to any of these? 2) Are there any good spray paints/sealers to use to paint? I am thinking of getting into making customs and think I will try masking wherever possible instead of using decals and using spray paint if there are any good ones. Bonus points if it doesn't come off/smudge when putting the figure back together after taking it apart (e.g., hot water to soften things up causing issues with the paint). It looks like Testors Dullcote Lacquer has a spray counterpart. If there are no good spray paints, what are some good regular paints and brushes? 3) Any advice on doing chest/stomach hair? 4) Can the same paints/sealers be used on things like belts, hair, vests, jackets, etc.? 5) Are there any good reliable sites for decals (I plan to print these, put masking tape on them, cut out where needed, and use the newly created mask for painting). Thanks in advance! 1) Just the heads and arms are interchangeable from Basic to Elite without MAJOR modification. 2) All paints are brush on only and take several coats. There are a couple spray sealers, but they are not very good. 3) Decals for chest hair 4) Yes, acrylic paint only. 5) Multiple places on FB/ebay for decals. It sounds like you are getting into this thinking there are shortcuts. There really isn't. Each custom takes a lot of time and patience and most are very pricey by the time you buy multiple figures for parts, paint, brushes, sealers, decals, etc. Good luck and have fun!

The time to buy it is when you see it.

Valentine and there is no second place. Unreal that Mattel has yet to make him yet. Former IC, US, NWA and WWF tag champ.

I've seen a closed robe version with a completely different insert tray that has Ric's arms pointing down instead of up like the initial release had.

I bought the black ones from rsc since there aren't any red rubber ones. I just plan to repaint them and seal them. I even asked a few members about sealing it so the paint doesn't break. I think it's strange that rs hasn't created some sort of turnbuckle and ringposts in multiple colors etc as single packs. Those things would sell like hot cakes. ^This. I've got the NWA ringskirt and matt and putting it on the ASR. I'm just going to paint the black turnbuckles yellow with model masters paint and seal them. I might even put the NWA logo decals on them as well like they had in the early 80s.

Thanks gentlemen. Henchmen hit it out of the park with the sculpts. I'm seeing Bill Eadie next month and can't wait to show him this set and have him sign it. I already have a ring worn/signed silver & black mask and have a couple of pics with him wearing the red mask so these were obvious choices for the 3 pack. But you are right, like Ric Flair, Superstar had numerous color combinations. And yes, the ring jacket is available at Ralph's. I wanted to have a glimpse of all of his looks and that little accessory was perfect.

Easiest way to disassemble a figure is to boil a small pot of water. Drop the figure in for about 15 seconds and you can take anything off with ease. It also is a good way to sterilize and clean the figure before customizing.

Ric Flair elite from his 1984 NWA title win over Kerry Von Erich in Japan. Ric only wore this combo a few times in the summer of 1984. Perhaps as a tribute the 84 summer olympic games held in the USA.

simm don't know what your plan is to handle the fringes around Wahoo's boots, but may I suggest using tassles from a cheap Macho Man (Texas Tornado will be expensive) and cut it short. I am using the white Ultimate Warrior tassles.
