Recorded and saved this classic all the way back in 2002. 20 years ago. An early WF moment. Will forever be here, you could call it...Eternal.

Quite possibly and undoubtedly one of my coolest mail-days ever. For anyone who knows me personally, everyone knows I am a huge mark for "HBK" Shawn Michaels, been a fan of his the day I started watching wrestling in 1998. I just scored this beyond incredible piece! This is the actual contract from WrestleMania XX that was signed on RAW on February 9, 2004, a month before the showdown. As you can see on the contract, it shows the match between then World Champion, Triple H defending against that year's Royal Rumble winner Chris Benoit. Triple had signed the contract in the ring but just before Benoit could sign his name where he was supposed to -- HBK came to the ring and tried to persuade Benoit that he was the man that should be facing Hunter at WrestleMania. This 'ultimatum' fell on deaf ears with Benoit, with him reiterating that it was his shot and in regards to HBK being in the match "It's going to be me....not you!" HBK responded to this with a Sweet Chin Music that knocked Benoit out and Shawn Michaels then signed his name on the contract where Benoit was to have signed. Later that night, Stone Cold Steve Austin announced that because of the circumstances, he couldn't take HBK but he could still make the match a triple threat and thus...history was made and I now own a big piece of it. Video Link to Part 2 of this Contract Signing Segment:

Looking into the mechanics of my unreleased WWF Hasbro growing chest Hulk Hogan prototype. It appears if you move his arms upwards — twisting the metal pins on his shoulders, the part on his chest will come out (hence the look of ‘Hulking Up’ or the effect of the growing chest)...not sure how the mechanic looks with the rubber torso in place but this is pretty sweet!

getting it encased in plastic? would look dope, obv cannot be graded? or can it? Not sure if it can be graded. I first want to check in with some other collectors and hopefully find a Hasbro employee who might know a thing or two more about the piece.

Just saying cool find for OP and he posted a pic of boss man who I may want to add to my collection one day if found decently priced. Nice attempt at being a Mod tho. There is one on eBay right now ;-) Its your lucky day....

Scored an absolute GRAIL from a line I have been chasing for the longest time. This is a DC Comics SUPER HEREOS TOY FAIR PROTOTYPE MOCK-UP OF LEX LUTHOR! The prototype itself is a hand-painted resin. The card was hand made for Toy Fair to showcase this upcoming line from Toybiz in 1990.
This piece differs from the production version considerably. There is no trigger on the back of the figure nor any sort of mechanism in the figure itself, as again -- this is a resin prototype. His right arm has a totally different sculpt as it wasn't apparently originally designed for the figure to hold the briefcase & gun he would eventually come with. The headsculpt itself is miles better than the production version and is a dead ringer for the Lex Luthor that was shown on production card backs.
The card backing made directly for Toy Fair consists of paste-ups (paper on cardboard stock, all hand drawn and created) and is very different from how it ended up being released. The card-back does have some wear and lifting, as to be expected, since this piece is now 30 years old, it's amazing that it has survived all these years... Check out the comparison pictures I have taken. I have put the prototype side by side with the released Lex Luthor. BEYOND incredible to own a GEM like this...I'm so thrilled.

A WWF Hasbro 2-UP is on a certain auction site ... you can add that one to the list as well.

For me personally when it comes to Mattel, it has to be my WWE Defining Moments Shawn Michaels Elite figure. I have been a professional wrestling fan since 1998 and from the moment I started watching and became hooked, I was immediately a big fan of Shawn Michaels. Unfortunately for me, I got into it after he stepped away from the ring...so when I got into it, he was the acting Commissioner of the WWF. This figure represents one of my all time favorite matches of his career and certainly in my opinion, the best WrestleMania match of all time when he fought The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25. Just an amazing figure and an unforgettable match. However, in terms of overall, the best piece I own is my WWF Hasbro Rhythm & Blues Greg Valentine prototype. As a collector of over 20 years, I have quite a few jewels as you can see in this picture. So, to keep this post going...what's is YOUR favorite piece you own?
