Found the Then Now Forever Together 4 pack at Ollies for $30. Last one they had too, IDK how I lucked out

Decided on a whim to search for UE 7 Bray Wyatt and I found one for $30 shipped on the Bay sans belt. Never knew the figure's arms were pinless until now.

Struck out on MNW again at Walmart, but I did finally pull the trigger on UE 20 Reigns. I barely collect modern but I said what the hell because it's WM weekend.

Cody and '09 Taker look stunning, picking both up for sure.
Sami and Kev are good but probably not getting them yet.

I personally found that I was most excited on Taker & Hall. Stone Cold rules but he is not my favorite. As far as an action figure, well done Mattel. Hall though, I could not pass on. I text my uncle a picture of the Hall I scored & his immediate response was "Ay yo, yo, yo, yo, RIP, nice score". I was laughing beyond belief. I have Taker on the way from a FB group sans BaF piece so I'm after the other three. Hall is top priority with Austin in second.

Much better set in hand than I thought. Triple H in particular looks different than I imagined but I'll only get the BaF piece from him, the others are all buys.
Fake Diesel and Nash are standouts, I might get two Fake Diesels to swap the New Gen UE Diesel alt head onto.

I'll definitely take them, all his gimmicks were toyetic to an extent.

I'd pair him with Harley Race. I like the idea of a soft goods robe being used for either figure and Harley getting his LJN accurate jacket.
I'd pair Andre with Big John Studd and throw in some extra parts from their $15,000 body slam match at WM 1.

Hollywood Hogan is definitive. A few changes to soft goods or accessories but the overall look is what I consider my mind's eye version of Hollywood (5 o clock shadow, lighting tights, etc.)
Fan Takeover HBK is my main New Gen display Shawn Michaels. Again, my mind's eye pictures HBK in red and white, those colors pop. SS 97 Shawn works for Attitude Era
CC Piper, with some swappage on shirts/kilts, is basically a definitive 80s heel Hot Rod. If you only had one in the collection, he's a solid pick.
Kane is basically the definitive version. His most iconic look, could use a gloss finish on the boots but otherwise perfection.
I have SS 90 Taker as my new display Taker for his early run/rookie years. I can't think of any flaws with him.
I'll add to it Target Legends Rock is the definitive Attitude Era version of the Great One. Better in almost every way to the Amazon version.

I can't be the only one who never once saw a shipper yet right? 5 Walmarts within driving distance and zip. Been on the hunt since they were first spotted and my Walmarts are usually decent when it comes to exclusives.
Figures it's the one set I decided to go all in on right?

I paid $39.99 for a chase Paul Bearer out of the bay. So far i think that is the most expensive figure i have ever bought. I did $35 for the common via Ringside last night, though IDK if that markup counts as "scalping" per say. That's not a bad price for the chase though.

This might be the first BaF set where I go all in without giving a toss about the BaF itself.
Luger is fantastic, glad we have an update to that Lex Express look.
Kane is long overdue, I think the arms look fine but I could easily swap these and the RSC Vault Kane if it bothers me.
Taker I was originally going to skip, but I dig the laughing scan, so I'll get him too.
Box design is alright, I do like the classic inspired logo and color scheme.

Not really a "tradition" but every Wednesday night I have my men's small group at church, and I usually do a fig hunt an hour or so before we meet. I might grab a bite to eat for dinner out too, but typically most of my retail excursions outside of a grocery trip is on Wednesday nights.

Should be three more sets this year, wave 22 should be hitting shelves in the next few weeks along with UE Yoko.

I generally stubbornly refuse to buy from scalpers. If I missed out on a figure and return literal years later, that's fine. If you drive from store to store and buy up entire stock and list them on Facebook for triple the price, I just don't buy it. Living in Canada, my only option to get Ultimate Eddie was to pay $100. Eddie was tough to find stateside too, I still haven't seen on one store shelves I just got lucky enough to have a friend of a friend grab it for me somewhere else in the state. I only got my Eddie thanks to a friend of mine I met at Target on the hunt. Works with the local PD, we got to talking in the fig aisle, I tell him that the Walmart I left had plenty of Bischoffs left, he tells me another one stocked Eddie and Rey. Left with both of them and Easy E from my first store. Months later I helped the same guy cop Scott Steiner from a Neighborhood Market and he helped me with a Jada SF Ken at Target. Helps to have good friends like that. On topic though, most I paid for a "scalper" was $45 for a Coliseum Collection Terry Funk (Didn't need Hogan). Not too far off the mark

I haven't been able to check my stores lately, one of them did get the RA shipper but my Walmarts have a habit of placing them away from the toys (One McFarlane DC display was near the shoes, the aforementioned RA shipper near the greeting cards, etc.)

The suit looks more grey than blue, to me. Though, in this picture, there does appear to be some blue in the suit, just not as blue as the figure. What year is the standard Bearer elite 106? Does that pair up with the Legends 19 Undertaker? I believe the regular Paul Bearer is Summerslam 1994 since one of his accessories is the giant urn he used during Taker's entrance. As far as which Taker would pair well with him, honestly any of them from 91-96 would theoretically work and you have a lot of options (UE Amazon, DoD, Legends 9, Raw 30th, etc)
