I gotta be honest. I really like this Rocker Shawn Michaels, but if there is absolutely no chance of ever getting a matching Marty Jannetty, then I question making a $30 figure that is one half of a tag team.
I don't mean to sound disgruntled or complain, but this is thee highest priced figure they make. It just feels incomplete without his tag partner.

The Valentine/Tito feud was one of the best during the Rock 'N' Wrestling explosion. It drew money, and people wanted to see it. Valentine seems to be underrated around here.

Any guesses on who will be #4 behind HTM? Would love a WCW Steamboat or stunning Steve. Where does Harley Race fit in? Maybe I'm remembering that wrong and he's in a different line all together.

Greg Valentine Hercules Slick Mr. Fuji Rick Martel Ken Patera Don Muraco Hillbilly Jim and Nikolai Volkoff should probably be re-released somewhere. Great list, however Slick, Fuji & Patera are a no go as they are part of the concussion lawsuit. I thought that thing was over (or ending)?

Yeah, looking back, the thing I remember most about opening my DM Sting was the feeling that I might break an arm off trying to remove the jacket. I got one in the first wave with the laced boots too. Many of the subsequent Sting releases seem to have a much better likeness in the face.

The issue isn't overproduction per se. There was a backlog at retail, and Target and Walmart ordered very little of these series. When two of your largest customers don't order product, there were likely thousands of cases that went unsold and eventually ended up with discount retailers. The production numbers were probably in line with all other main line Elite series - but with stores unexpectedly backed up there weren't buyers. Yup, and sadly, there was almost nothing on the shelves during the month of December at almost all of the Walmarts in my area. That distribution debacle from last year is still being felt right here with this Marshalls/TJ Maxx stuff.

Forgot to post this earlier, but I stopped by the Frederick Walmart on 26 on Tuesday evening.
- Battle Packs 49 & 50 - Basic 84 - Flashback 1 basics
This store still has its Wrestlemania endcap up and running. I've heard reports that the Summerslam stuff is starting to come in at some Walmarts. I wonder if they will finally clearance the remnants of the very late arriving Wrestlemania stuff?

Frederick Toys R Us Update Wednesday (6/20/18)After taking my kids to see the Incredibles 2 movie, we made a few stops which included the Frederick Toys R Us for a final time. All of the remaining items in the store have been moved to the front area, and we picked up a few things, including New Day Pops! for pretty cheap. There is a sign in the front of the store (5 days left) indicating the new last day to be this Sunday (6/24/18). As some of you predicted, the dolls have survived lol: Also noteworthy, Dean Ambrose appears to be the "Sole Survivor:" My kids said "goodbye" on our last visit: After Toys R Us, I went by the Frederick Ollie's and picked up the Booty O's 3-Pack for $9.99! They had about 4 more. I can't remember the last time I was in there.

As a Flashback collector I haven't even cared about any figures since what, January when the Walmart line came out. That's 6 months of my money that Mattel could have chipped into but instead, nothing but crickets. Yeah, I'm pretty much in this boat as well. I had a good January with the Flashback Elites and basics. Since then, I was happy to get Fan Central Heenan, WM9 Beefcake, and Gamestop Macho. Now I'm waiting on the new Andre lol.

Not only are the dolls not selling, but unfortunately my Walmart can't move Elite Charlotte either. We have been stuck with 5 Elite 54 Charlotte figures for 3 months now, and they are blocking any Elite line re-orders.

Elites are harder to play with as compared to basics, sometimes they are just too loose.
With that being said, if they every release Greg Valentine, he should get a basic as well. He works stiff and really lays them in, and my son knows that. We can't have a floppy Elite for that kind of action.
