Been checking targets for Legends 22. I know the street date is next week but I’ve seen some popping up on Instagram. Nothing in the 2 Trumbull’s, bethel, danbury or Stamford so far. Anyone sees anything let me know!

Hey guys I have an Art Asylum Riker signed by Frakes that I’ve had wrapped in bubble wrap for about 5 years. Are there any suitable figure protectors or display bubbles for this odd shaped packagaing. Soft is preferred. Thanks in advance

Is there a database or go to post to see what style cases fit what figures?
Specifically the current legends figures from Target.
Thanks in advance

There are 10 each Baroness and Lady Jaye at all of my local Walmarts. I fear they will never clear out Don't worry about that too much. I thought the exact same thing because there were so many Lady Jayes that aren't selling but when I checked my Walmart just this morning I saw Destro and Gung Ho and in pretty high numbers too. Finally saw Carded Destro and Gung Ho last night. Found Bazooka on Thursday. I’ve see. Recondo but passed on him. Really glad they fixed the distribution of this line to that you actually have a chance

They’re the things the hang from shelves that Target and Walmart love to display with nothing hanging on them. Peg is also a great Steely Dan song. Steely Dan > retail shelves. I’m “reeling in the years and gathering up the tears” from never seeing anything in stores. and then I go “back, jack, do it again” and still find nothing. Steely Dan rules. Look it up kids. I’ll see myself out. Bodhisattva Is my fave SD track

I appear to have struck out on Bludd. This is the worst line to collect...ebay it is for me.

Look up analogy and maybe you’ll understand. Yeah... you had nothing to say to how terrible your analogy is. Cheese and toy collectibles... definitely comparable. Bro, you don’t comprehend English at all. I’m making a point using an example. If you’re that dense I’ll never get through to you and as for contradicting myself no I didn’t. I said saying EVERY hobby shop is a scalper is wrong but in the dudes example he said what if the shop scalps then yes it’s a scalper. You seem to pick out pieces of conversations you understand and leave the rest behind

They truly make perfect sense. People arguing for scalpers saying it’s a free market and they are hustling are not wrong in theory but in moral. Someone who waits outside a store to open and buys everyone to resell it to collectors and parents is lame. It’s my opinion. You’re preying on a market. It’s not different than buying all of a certain product people may want but can only find at one store. Doesn’t make anyone a savvy business man or smart just slimy. Again my opinion. As for comparing hobby shops to scalpers that’s just silly. Most retailers get their stock manufacturers and or trade ins. To say they are scalpers is silly. It’s someone running a business not buying toys and reselling them from their basement. To your point you can choose not to buy from a hobby shop but when target is the only retailer selling an item that is scalped it limits buying options. Bad for everyone So explain how a hobby shop clearing out stores of exclusives or having online exclusive figures available in their stores at the same prices u see on eBay is any different than the guy in his basement? Just because the hobby shop has a physical storefront? No different they are doing the same exact thing. No, that’s 100% the same thing. I’m saying people saying all hobby shops are middle men and therefore indirectly scalpers is wrong.

Bad for everyone “It’s not different than buying all of a certain product people may want but can only find at one store.” This is exactly why your analogy is comparing apples to lawnmowers. Cheese isn’t exclusive to one store. These are collectibles and store exclusives. Literally unable to compare that to cheese. You can compare buying all the cheese to buying all the toilet paper in a pandemic but not to scalping toy exclusives and selling them on the secondary market. I’m not arguing with you that scalping sucks. I didn’t once defend scalping. But your analogies are really, really bad... they are counterproductive to your arguments. Look up analogy and maybe you’ll understand.

Wow...your post.... No one said I didn’t have a choice. I’m simply stating comparing a store to a person buying and marking up a stock is not the same. By that argument every pizza shop in the world is gouging the customers who can buy sauce, dough and cheese at a fraction of the cost. Difference is if I bought the limited amount of “cheese” aka action figures at every target in driving distance so that no one could make pizza then it would make me a scumbag You’re comparing apples to lawnmowers. Brick and mortar collectible shops have overhead and customers can go there expecting products to be purchased and choose whether or not to pay their prices. Can I come to your house and look around and touch things while you have the heat and electricity on? Wow... this post... You know that you can choose NOT to buy figures on eBay right? You’re acting like someone is holding a gun to your head saying you have to get them there. You can choose not to buy it on eBay just like you’re saying you can choose to not buy it in a collectible shop... Wow...your post.... No one said I didn’t have a choice. Making $10 on a figure. Multiply that by bulk number, say 5. That’s a good $50 profit. Flipping collectibles online has become a form of self-employment. It’s always been a thing at brick and mortar collectible shops though. Can I come to your house and look around and touch things while you have the heat and electricity on?
