Hope they signed Brian Lee and it’s Underfaker. Only version of the dead man I’d want.

#2 for me might be Rock but only 3 strictly just for him.
Legends UE Superstars RA Greatest Hits (so I can put extra Ali head on a body with dress pants) Championship Showdown (solely for Mankind) TNFT (primarily for Hogan but I did upgrade my prior Maivia as well)

They already have a retro ring. They could just re-release that or repaint it. Or if they wanted to do a new mold then it would cost less than $50 which wouldn’t really necessitate a crowdfund. I’m not talking about a single molded ring, I’m talking about a realistic version like the Ultimate Editon ring. Yeah still not seeing a need for a crowdfund as it wouldn’t be that expensive to produce. Especially if you’re scaling down the UE ring to about half the size.

Mines is easy. Andre the Giant.
Ultimate Edition x 3 E100 E100 Chase x 2 Big Rubber Guys (black singlet) Super7 (yellow trunks on clearance) Super7 (black singlet on clearance)
And haven’t purchased yet but will likely before the end of the year: Heels and Faces (black singlet) Superstars x 2 (or more)

As the subject line states who did you spend the most money on this year? Since this is the Mattel WWE boards they would have to have at least 1 Mattel figure you bought in 2023 but if they have figures produced by other toymakers then those can be counted as well.

Lots of Wave 1 just started resurfacing. Just Honky and Bray, no Hogan or Flair. Nothing about this line's distribution makes sense. I also don't understand why a s1 figure is not marked down but s2 and s3 are. Especially bray. Starting to think these series numbers are meaningless. Walmart already sold the hogans and flairs back to ringside. At least some figures are hanging now so people know the line exists Probably because Hogan, Flair, Taker, and Warrior all had individual skus but everything else have the assortment sku. So if they clearance them then they have to clearance everything including new figures.

Good thing about the basic being super short is that the Superstars jumpsuit fits pretty good.

I honestly don’t get the “they won’t be around in 10 months so why buy em now” argument. There are so many one and done attires and all are outdated by the time they hit the shelves. Like Seth wore that polka dot attire once well over a year ago and will never wear it again but did that stop anybody from buying it? Does something actually need to be currently matching the product on the TV for you to want to display it on your shelf or play with them in your fed? Cuz if that’s the case, your collection will be quite thin.
*Are the people who go “I don’t want it cuz they won’t be around in a year” the same people who when WWE announces a bunch of releases go “are we still getting that (wrestler who was released) figure?”

Sting for the most part wrestled his entire NWA career under Jim Crockett Promotions which became WCW which became WWE. There are probably loopholes like when Jakks did his USA attire when he was in Japan. I think Jazwares is just playing it safe and don’t wanna risk any lawsuits. Mattel is doing the same as Steve has said they won’t do attires for companies not owned by WWE. *I think also at the end of the day it’s a line that represents AEW. My guess is even if they were allowed to, TK probably doesn’t want to promote his main competitor by having figures representing WWE brands in a toy line with AEW on the packaging. Well, they'll do non-WWE attires when they really want to..... WWE has zero ownership over this..... Well I don’t think the rights to boxing attire are as murky as they are with wrestling as I am sure they were 100% certain no one but the Ali estate could claim any rights to that imagery. And not claiming it’s a loophole but I am pretty sure Vince had the closed circuit PPV rights to the Inoki fight in the US. So there is that connection.

Came in to say I DID NOT get one and I WILL NOT get one. Lwo won't be a thing come august, and half the crew will probably be in aew or TNA 😂 Kinda redundant to get the "new" stuff out for Mattel creations, when it still takes the 8+ months to deliver right? I'm not seeing a difference in just releasing in the regular elite line. Obviously it will sell, but it's just not for me. It they were ultimate I might've considered. I mean sure but if you like the group now then will that change a year from now whether they’re still together or not? The Nation of Domination broke up 25 years ago but that didn’t stop me from buying D-Lo and Kama earlier this year.

2002 Hogan with the leather jacket would make for a good UE Hollywood Hogan in jeans or Defining Moments

BTW does anyone have a guess what the other costumes are(besides vader/albano). Found the image on a yt video Yeah all of these have been revealed. None of the others are Superstars. Legends series 21 Sheik is the robe, L21 Hoagn is the cape, Target Hogan 3 pack is the Hollywood Rules shirt, L21 Andre WM2, Legends UE Warrior is the duster, and E106 Gable is the Shoosh shirt

I thought by last year at this time we knew the Summerslam wave. Here's hoping its miles better than that awful Wrestlemania wave. Here's hoping for Summerslam 1989 Macho Man Any red and yellow Hulk Hogan with the WWE Winged Eagle Belt around his waist MOC Doubt it’ll be Macho Man as his contract expired with no indication they signed a new deal. Only Hogan they can do that’ll be different than any prior release would be 1991 when he wore a Hulkster Rules bandana. It’s possible they do that but wouldn’t bank on it.

We have not, but I don't expect them to say. I think it is pretty clear that if it is a look that WWE owns the video from, they are not going to do it. Sting may say he owns his looks - and I am sure he does - but that wouldn't give them full license to do any look he had. Obviously the NWO shirt and the Wolfpac shirt couldn't be done by Jazwares. I know the TNA like did a few surfer Sting looks, but that was a number of years back and the times have changed so it is most likely too risky for them to even try. I think another factor for why Jakks was able to get a couple of Surfer Stings out while they were doing the TNA line is because they explicitly had the license to do NWA and NJPW figures, as evident by those company's logos appearing on the Legends of the Ring figures' boxes. I guess unless JazWares ends up doing a similar deal, we wont ever be getting those looks in the JazWares line. Though the Owen Hart and Corazon de Leon Jericho do give me a small glimpse of hope that maybe they can find a way to release a few Legend themed figures, albeit in less than mainstream attires There is a Blade Runners Sting coming as well

Are they discontinuing this line? They are slowly disappearing from shelves in my area. I went to one wm they had NONE not even a place to out them on the shelf. I know they have Kane and Bulldog to release hopefully. No. This series is just that popular and stuff doesn’t warm when you distribute everyone evenly and not ship out cases of just one person.

Thought of another. My preference would be WM15 San Diego Chicken but I’d settle for WM2000 Rose with the red shirt and white pants and inverted colors Kane

Something that roughly in the same vein as Gooker/Taker? Only thing I can think of would be this:
