i opted out of mine, the contents of what is in their boxes are not worth the price point, i'll stick with pro wrestling crate to get my monies worth. I've only got a couple of pro wrestling crates like the golden era one as an example but always been happy with what I got. Problem is I'm not really into NJPW or the indie scene so there's only a few crates here or there which interest me. This months looks good and I'll prob get it - flip is the only one I think I'm not really into in this crate i've gotten every crate they put out, i have far too many shirts and accesories, no room anymore for everything, LOL

Well I have some Figma figures and they run around the shorter side similar to the SH Figuarts figures. But seeing the image of Chono next to a standard Figma figure, you can see the height difference should be on par with Mattel. cool. was just wondering, because it's fairly cheap on the ama of zons, LOL

Sounds like it's about 6.30 inches, that'd be bigger than SH fuguarts right?

i knew he was close with eddie, but WOW they were really tight. just a messed up thing all in all. both tragedies could have been avoided, not placing blame on anyone, just if things were done differently, the domino effect would have never happened...... Yeah, I never knew about Benoit laying on Eddie's side of the bed and crying or crying in his weight room. It shows how much it affected him. They also used a picture of Benoit where he looked ROUGH. His hair was all crazy and his beard was all grown out. I've never have seen him like that. chest hair too, lol. i knew this show was gunna be rough to watch but good, but it blew out my expectations. now we gotta wait a week and a half for episode 2, lol

By "engine," we are referring to how the mechanics of the "wrestling controls" work, in-game, mid-match. With the AKI engine, you'd use A for a grapple, or hold A for a strong grapple. Once grappled, you then have an array of moves to chose from. This holds true, be it in a standing grapple from the front, from behind, at a down opponents feet, his head, etc, so on and so forth. Obviously with a modern controller having 2 analog sticks, this will have to be adjusted to fit. Either way, I much prefer this style of control to the way that Yukes/THQ or 2k have made things over the years. So, as a VPW2 die-hard, I'm so happy. Also.. VPW2 is actually THE GOAT example of AKI's coding work. No Mercy was the final game they made, but it was a stripped down version of VPW2. Kenny Omega cites VPW2 as being his favorite game of all time, so hopefully they lean more towards VPW2 and a little less into No Mercy. I'll take a Mask Creator, Cutting Promos during your entrance, & Burning Finishers over a Hoe in a Smackdown Mall, any day. i'd also throw wcw vs the world (playstation) and def jam fight for NY as 2 other games that used a similar engine well. call me crazy, but i prefered the playstation wcw game over the 64 ones, and wm 2000 over no mercy simply because the story mode.

wasa fan of his character, even though it was basically a hispanic jbl. i still see him as a crap person outside the ring. besides, didn't he just recently start his own type of promotion!? he wouold get lost in the shuffle real quick as far as latin talent in wwe right now, anrade, humberto, and garza are the future for that demographic.

I'd like to think that if WWE approached him with a proper retirement story, he'd listen. Maybe one last swan song to go out the right way. I think it's safe to assume a full time return if off the table. I’d be fine with that so long as he doesn’t beat any full-time guys, especially for a belt. i'd be fine with him doing a mania match agaist daniel bryan, but d-bry goes all american dragon on him and makes his entrance to final countdown.....

i was a huge punk mark when he left. i actually thought he'd go wrestle somewhere else, but he didn't. although i still like him, his return isn't something i NEED to see. i'm just happy for the guy being content with life. i will say this though, when he was wrestling, himself and daniel bryan set the standard for workrate in a wwe ring that very few wwe (meaning raw and smackdown) guys can touch. nxt on the otherhand, is capable of doing it on a weekly basis.

Yeah, I'm looking on the bright side -- for all of the potential issues the NJPW office might bring, hopefully something like Tanahashi towering over Okada can be fixed with the extra time. I do worry about this line falling through the cracks a bit, however, because AEW absolutely stole all the buzz last weekend, plus Mattel/Boss Fight/etc ... it would certainly be helpful if Super 7 came through with some fresh buzz in the near future. I think AEW landing the deal they did at the price point they have has some potentially interesting effects on Boss Fight and Super7. Boss Fight in particular because now their first series that they'd been hyping since last year is now being released in that AEW line at a lower price point and, frankly, similar if not higher quality in terms of the figures themselves. For Super7, now there's another line aimed at basically the exact audience that would be interested in the New Japan line and again, that line is lower price and more articulated and will be available at mass retail and also had a massive showing at NYTF. Obviously not everyone interested in buying the New Japan stuff will be interested in the AEW stuff and vice versa, but there's a gigantic amount of overlap when it comes to people interested in those two particular brands. Maybe one of the things waiting approval was Tanahashi being re-scaled. I'd certainly hope so. it sounds like the approval stuff goes to the people who makes the njpw stars gear, they apparently need approval from them as well, otherwise, it sounds like we would have seen the lineup for the second series this past weekend....

I'm happy to see Archer sign with AEW. It's another big guy on the roster. However, AEW's gotta slow down with all these signings. They barely have enough time to showcase all the talent they have. At least wait til TNT gives the 2nd show before signing new guys. IDK, just my opinion they've signed enough people, but I'm so happy for Archer. He's really been one of my favorites as a singles guy in NJPW ever since the G1. I already was a big fan of him and Harry Smith in a tag team. Good luck to him. the second show is just the youtube show moving to tv it sounds like, and also sounds like they are changing the format too, so it sounds like not much time to showcase anyways...

In the Q&A they said every 8 weeks there would be a new series out. And hopefully four series out before the end of this year. my wallet and my wife will hate me, however, i'll love my collection!
