Google the Kidrobot Andre the Giant figure (also Ric Flair & Ultimate Warrior). So....this isn't the worst.

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God......
How are places like Pro Wrestling Tees allowed to do micro brawlers of LOD, Andre the Giant & Vader? There have to be some loopholes somewhere for some guys, or was WWE on board with those being produced?

I'd bet you can find more Jakks exclusive Pipers than Rock n Wrestling eraser Pipers... This is an interesting point. We know that there are a finite amount of the Jakks exclusives (only 20 made). So, my thought was, surely there are at least 20 of the erasers on the planet. Maybe not?

For King Kong Bundy, I’d have to say the LJN thumb wrestler is tougher to find than the stretch wrestler. These two were close for me. I think I paid less for the thumb wrestler than the stretch, which is why I went that way. Fair point though.

I was thinking about this while driving the other day and thought I'd get your opinions, if you want to play. What is the rarest figure for each of the wrestlers that participated in Wrestlemania 1? Here are my thoughts. I would love to hear yours if they differ. I don't count prototypes, only figures that were actually commercially available.
Tito Santana: LJN White Trunks Buddy Rose: His only figure, the AWA Remco King Kong Bundy: LJN Stretch SD Jones: LJN Yellow Shirt Jimmy Hart: Jakks Toyfare 1/100 Exclusive Ricky Steamboat: LJN Stretch Matt Borne: Galoob Big Josh Brutus Beefcake: He doesn't have any super rare figs, but I would say the bootleg gumball mold that looks like his first Hasbro figure David Sammartino: No figures Bruno Sammartino: The hardest for me to acquire (most expensive) was the Legends of Pro Wrestling "old" Bruno, bloody version Johnny V: His only figure, the LJN Junkyard Dog: Rock'N'Wrestling eraser Greg Valentine: Jakks 3 Pack with Black Hair Mike Rotundo: Funko Pop Walgreens Exclusive IRS Barry Windham: Galoob UK Exclusive Lou Albano: Jakks 3 Pack w/Samoans Iron Shiek: International Wrestling Championship bootleg giant figure Nikolai Volkoff: None are particularly rare, so I will go w/the oldest, the LJN Freddie Blassie: Jakks 2 Pack w/debuting Hulk Hogan Andre the Giant: LJN Black Big John Studd: HG Zipper Clip Bobby Heenan: Jakks Weasel Suit Toy Fair 1/100 Wendi Richter: Rock'N'Wrestling Eraser Lelani Kai: No figures Fabulous Moolah: Her only figure, Jakks Classic Superstars Hulk Hogan: Japanese B&W Statue Jimmy Snuka: Action Wrestlers tiny bootleg figure Roddy Piper: Jakks Classic Employee Exclusive 1/20 Paul Orndorff: LJN Stretch Bob Orton: I don't feel like any are particularly rare, so I will go w/my favorite, the LJN

I finally got my hands on one of these. As an Andre collector, it is something that I have been wanting for the last year, as there are only 20. Pretty cool piece. Story on what it is, exactly, is below the pics. DKE Toys is going to have an awesome line-up of New York Comic Con exclusive resin figures this year at their NYCC booth #678, including two killer pieces by RYCA! First up is this fantastic “Recycle the Giant” resin figure, which mashes up the WWE’s Andre the Giant with OBEY GIANT’s “Andre the Giant has a Posse” sticker. RYCA was disappointed that Andre never got a chance to wear his own shirt, so he’s recycled the famous street art campaign into a collectible resin figure. Reminiscent of the Hasbro WWF figures from the 1990s, “Recycle the Giant” by RYCA is a hand cast and painted 5” carded figure. Limited to just 20 pieces, this signed and numbered figure can be purchased at DKE Toys’ booth.

My Iron Sheik collection. I've added Jakks Unmatched Fury since this pic was taken. King Kong Bundy. Bundy was one of my favorites when I was young. The Stretch and the Thumb wrestler are the jewels of this collection.

This guy will make a good Homeowner's Association President someday. If you can't find the relevance to Mattel figures w/this thread then I don't know what to tell you. This thread isn't about Hulk becoming a wrestler again. Make sure and spell check my post too.

What's that tiny, pink Brutus? Some company did small, plastic molds of some of the Hasbro figures. They are bootlegs that were, I believe, for gum ball machines. There is Brutus, Jake, Snuka, Macho King and, randomly, the Galoob Barry Windham.

Brutus Beefcake collection. This is all of them minus the WM 9, Hogan tag partner version, which was after I stopped watching. Tito Santana collection. I think I've posted this one before, but want to have everything in one thread. This is all of the Tito figures ever made and a couple of customs.

Here is my Ric Flair collection. I don't collect "old man" Ric Flair. I've added several since this pic was taken, but can't get to them right now. Added the Hug 'em Bop 'em (Wrestling Buddy Style) one and also the WCW Wrestling Figure Wrist Watch. Maybe a few others too.

Here's my Million Dollar Man stuff. Only one that I know I am missing is the Tonka Wrestling Buddy. I recently acquired the Hasbro Mini version (the Royal Rumble figure), it just isn't in this photo.

Great collection. You need to add the 12" Talking Warrior and the series 3 Ultimate Warrior in the purple trunks that Hasbro made. Is the mattel Warrior in the yellow trunks the one that came with Sheamus in a battle pack? Thanks. There are far more than the 2 you mentioned that I will be adding to the collection and yes to your last question.

Call me crazy, but I loved the fact that lesser known guys got figures made. To this Day, the LJN figures of guys like Ted Arcidi, Outback Jack, S.D. Jones, Corporal Kirchner and even Hercules is the only way they've been made into action figure form. I can't believe they've never been made again since. Especially Hercules. I agree. Those are probably the only figures we’ll ever have of them. I know Adrian Adonis was sort of popular back then but we know that he’ll never get made again either. There were some really great obsure guys made back then...anyone else wish a few women had been made? I would have loved to have seen the Glamour Girls with belts and the Jumping Bomb Angels. Moolah & Wendi Richter in the 85 set would have been awesome, but they were just testing the waters then. By the time 86 hit, they had cooled it with the women's wrestling. I would have liked Killer Kahn, Uncle Elmer and The Machines.

All of my figures are in a climate controlled storage unit right now as we have our house on the market, so I had to get the clutter out. I am having some separation anxiety, so, I thought I would share some of my collection. Here are my Ultimate Warrior figures. I only collect 1985-1992 guys and try to keep it to the attires they wore during that time (with some exceptions). For example, I have Stunning Steve Austin, but no Stone Cold Steve Austin. Anyways, I will post some more in the future. My favorite of these is the Star Toys giant figure from Spain. I love those figures. Wish I could find the small Star Toys PVC ones. I also love the WWF Hockey figures from the game. I think they are fun.

I had one of these too. I was always frustrated because I could never find some of the ones that were "available now". There is one version that states that The Haiti Kid would be released, but, obviously, that never happened.

I wasn't watching wrestling at the time. Was playing college football and staying pretty busy. However, I was at my house with my girlfriend and we were watching the evening news. They told what happened and I knew we had to watch RAW the next night. Maybe the event that brought me back to watching it pretty regularly.

I would pay a hefty amount for the TNA Legends Andre The Giant figure that never came out.

Just got Andre in the mail. I like these things. Hope they make a bunch of legends.
