It's one of the main reasons why I hate 2 World titles. This whole rumble winner choosing a champion nonsense has been done to death and it defeats the whole purpose of the rumble. When someone chooses a champion where does that leave the other title? Kofi's storyline is great but this is WM and the only way someone should have the right to challenge for the title is through the Royal Rumble. The 2 World Title thing at least can add another name or two to possible winners. In my head going into the 2019 rumble, it was most likely either Rollins or Strowman to win and face Brock; or Orton or Joe to face Brock. The added complexity of being able to jump to the other brand for a title shot at least opens up a few more possibilities.

I have two main problems with the Royal Rumble, but the title shot is not one of them. I hate having two Rumble matches on a show. I get we are in the womens revolution, but could they not have come up with a different concept for them> Maybe they could have brought back King of the Ring and called it Queen of the Ring and have that be their getting a title shot thing. The Royal Rumble was a special once a year thing, but the last year or so we have had five Rumble matches! Also I hate how overbooked they are the way wrestlers will sit in the corner for what feels like forever while some spot is being done in the ring has taken out most of the fun from the Royal Rumble. the Queen of the Ring concept would be a good idea

No, the title shot hasn't ruined it. Vince McMahon and his unwillingness to pull the trigger on upstarts, underdogs, and those that were not his golden boy creations have ruined it. I'm a Rollins fan and I'm glad he now has this feather in his cap, but he didn't need to win to be the guy to fight Brock. It was all lining up perfect anyway. Why couldn't someone like Big E win? Is he not a credible threat to Daniel Bryan? Along with the Kofi storyline going on, this would fit nicely. Why not Joe? Champion vs champion for the wwe title? Why not give Cesaro a damn chance for once? As with everything wwe related, Vince is whats holding things back. Couldn’t Agree More

With Smackdown moving to FOX, could the roster split be a thing of the past once again? I can’t see FOX agreeing to not have certain stars to not appear on their show. We already have a woman’s tag title that is floating between all shows. Perhaps, this Upcoming shakeup might last until Summerslam, but I have a feeling that FOX would not want any talent slated to not be on their show.

As the years go on, I feel that the title shot (main event) Wrestlemania stipulation for the Royal Rumble has run its course, and is ruining the actual rumble match. With so much emphasis on marketing large name partipants in title matches at Wrestlemania to sell tickets, the rumble match has gotten to the point of being very predictable. It’s billed as anyone could win it, but for years one could look at the lineup an realize only about 5 wrestlers would have a chance at being considered made the winner.
At this point I would much rather it be treated along the lines of MITB. With the winner getting a title shot at anytime. Doing so would allow WWE to take a chance on possibly moving a mid-carder up to main event status. Tieing Wrestlemania to the rumble winner has too much investment and money involved for the company to take any risks on possibly hot shorting someone into main event status.

I find myself looking forward to What Happened When, and STWW is something I listen to when I run out of my normal weekly podcasts. Six months ago, it was the complete opposite.

Lately it’s skimming through Rawand Smackdown on the DVR. It’s sad that usually December through Mania is when I would religiously watch both in the past, but this year it just doesn’t really feel like Mania season. Find myself watching more WCW Saturday Nights than anything else on the network.

IMO Rollins was a lock for beating Brock, until Roman came back. Time to keep Brock strong to feed him to Roman at SummerSlam.

I have tracked eBay sold listings in the US for carded sealed US cards is very good displayable condition. You can see my post from January 18 with my first 3 months of sales tracking. The supply and demand thing is isn’t making sense with eBay sales to almost an aggravating rate. Let me give a few examples. Based on sold MOC US card listings from 10/1/17 to 6/1/18.
Series 10 HBK There are 2 versions of this figure. The repeat from Series 7 (White Pants) or the “Rare” Black and Silver pants Version. The average selling price of the white version is $121.50 and the black version $121.05. So HBK Series 10 basically trends around $121. However the “Rare” Black Version has 25 sold listings vs the white pants having 9 sold listings. Which one is more rare in supply? Doesn’t it appear the more common is more in demand?
Series 11 123 Kid So it seems pretty common knowledge that the green card series is expensive to buy at the moment. One of the the highest average price sold figure is the 123 Kid. Kid averages $325. There are 31 sold listings for this figure (most the series, 2nd is evil crush at 22 sold listings). The least available figure with the lowest supply is Billy Gunn with only 14 sold listings and it’s average price is $212.50. Highest Supply has the highest cost, lowest supply has the lowest cost.
In reality, the market is all over the place. I keep record to make me feel better about trying to pay under or at the average price for the figures. A price guide doesn’t work in my eyes due to not having a finite definition of condition. The value of an item is only the amount someone is willing to actually pay for it.

What’s the rarity/story of the series 2 hasbro cards that list Rhythm and blues as a tag team on the back. I assume it is like the first run of series 2 (much like the Ages 5 & up on Series 1).
I have seen people online trying to get more for their MOC figs with the R&B listing, but should it really?
Just looking for some insight.

Does anyone have an explanation or reason why the series 3 consists of a lot of hard to find figures? I would have thought series 3 would be right around the sweet spot for sales. A lot of these figures rarely are available on eBay with English cards. There are more figures in this series than the green cards, but it looks like series 3 will cost a collector more than series 11. I just find it odd.

Seen a listing posted on eBay for a MOC Kamala variant. Seller is asking $12,000. Anyone have an idea of what the realistic selling value is to this? I know it's extremely rare, but $12k?

Alright, no links. Do a search for "14 Vintage WWF Wrestling Titan Sports Action Figures Full Set Hasbro MOC Hogan" in Sold Listings.
