Most likely, yes. I just went on the 'Bay to buy the All Stars Roberts at a good price without accessories, since Damian is coming with Quake. I might refocus my fed to a late 80s WWF rather than a mid80s WWF. Wars What would the difference in Roster be? I saw the new JYD figure. Looked good in person. Before with the original WrestleFest, I tried to mainly focus on Rock n Wrestling era guys (not counting that 64 team tournament) but this time I will likely focus on using late 80s/early 90s workers, Warrior, Demolition, Brainbusters, heel Andre, maybe Powers of Pain. Mattel has and is serving us up so many late 80's guys. It's hard to narrow down to one era though, so it might be a hodge-podge roster with an arena that looks late '80s! Who knows... Wars

Hey The Warsman you gonna use the new earthquake when he comes out? Most likely, yes. I just went on the 'Bay to buy the All Stars Roberts at a good price without accessories, since Damian is coming with Quake. I might refocus my fed to a late 80s WWF rather than a mid80s WWF. Wars

spam KickstarterIt was unsuccessful in getting funded, but the design is great, and shouldn't be too hard to rip off emulate. Once finished, I will find a way to host it and share with everyone on WFigs, as always. Wars

I thought I saw you selling your stuff in the classifieds a few months ago? Or trading them for Faygo soda or something, lol?? Did you have a change of heart, or are you starting over, too? I'm slowly building up a roster myself. Wars Are you writing a book on me lol? The stuff I have /had for trade is just fodder honestly. I picked up Elite 33 shield yesterday though. I thought you still had your stuff? Did you get your DM Hogan yet? Writing a book on you? No. I just remember your big post about making great friends, but it's time to move on, etc. and then putting all your figures in the classifieds. Glad to see you're stil around and still posting about making a fed someday. I have the DM Hogan, I'm working on a few necessary customs to go in my era, as well as a new background/arena to showcase them in. It should look pretty different, I'm gonna try to emulate that dude's Kickstarter arena. Wars

It doesn't have to be a commitment, you could just do a one off show or something like that? Oh, it wouldn't be a one off. I am getting everything together as we speak though. I thought I saw you selling your stuff in the classifieds a few months ago? Or trading them for Faygo soda or something, lol?? Did you have a change of heart, or are you starting over, too? Both of those have in-scale with Mattel RA heads I don't have them and I'm not going to buy them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So you'll buy other suggested Mattels for these customs? Do we know what you have to work with? Wars

Has anyone tried to disassemble a Mattel Build-a-Figure after it has been put together?
I have a few I purchased already assembled, now I'm a bit afraid to try to pull them apart. Very curious...
Thanks! Wars

I was getting to that, I just wanted to get that out of the way ha. I really like Hercules. I can't quite put my finger on whose head that is though. I'm not sure about Gravins head, I like it but I don't ever remember him smiling. Edit- I read above, wow that's a good idea, I have a extra elite Sheamus laying around, now I know what I'm going to do with it. That's kinda how my Hercules was born! I have a dealer friend with extra Sheamuses (Sheami?)and he gave me an extra and an extra Alberto Del Dio (thus Garvin was born), so yeah, peg warmers can lead to decent customs, lol. As for backgrounds, I don't currently have a hosting website, so I gotta think of a way to host them. The newer ones are too large to send out or post on hosting sites. BTW--as my sig shows, I will be making a new background/arena that is similar to the one posted on Kickstarter (didn't get funded- I don't think it's moving forward). Wars

My heart loves it, my brain says they'd never do it.
Besides, after the Paul Bearer fiasco, I don't want my Heenan figure to rely on being built from imported Canadian parts.

Love Hercules and rugged Ronnie , who's legs for Hercules? Is it a Sheamus figure modded? Thanks! Yes, Herc is mostly a Sheamus, I know, I know, Hercules wasn't THAT pale, but he was very pale compared to the Superstars at that time. The calves and boots are from a Macho Man. D.B.K.- that's a Toybiz WCW Mean Gene head I Dremelled to fit on a Mattel neck. Wars

Morton was done at a later time, with PN news, diamond stud, etc. so who knows what reference photos were used at that time. But we've seen the pics that match outfit for outfit, missing knee pads, weird placed knee pads, etc. with the first series figures, so that should clear that up. As far a definitive "did DOOM wrestle in this those outfits ever?" I can tell you- no.

master_fuji, you answered your own question. The sculptor(s) used those reference photos instead of actual footage or knowledge to create the sculpts. I've also seen the reference pics, they explain why Barry has his kneepads down, and Z-Man was missing his kneepads, both of which always bothered me (as well as the weird Doom outfits)

Long time, no see! I have been away working on other customs and hobbies, but lately something's changed, getting hard to define...wait, no. Not Jessie's Girl, some fix-ups! I started with a Mean Gene, moved on to a Sid Vicious, tried something weird for my Hercules...and today I *almost* have my Ronnie Garvin finished. Anyway, enjoy, rate, hate... Not for nothing, but I shared how to enlarge and reduce heads using Hydrospan YEARS AGO. I'm not sure who's being called a "creepy bastard who hides his information?" It's never been a secret, it's been discussed openly as far back as 2006-7. Use the search button... Still loving the 1989 roster pics, Perfectlyrude! Wars Ya, wasn't directed to u at all, I've never had any interaction with you at all, so I have nothing to judge u on, it was just a general comment, not anyone in particular, just to the ppl who want to hide their knowledge for selfish reasons , I wasn't even referring to just the shrinking heads, just recipes in general I apologize, I read that wrong then. I do agree with gist of what you posted about "recipes," though I've found over the years that eventually most people became more willing to share ideas, tips and tricks, and those that didn't were few and far between--but they do stand out! I think the rise of the Mattel Fix-up Thread helped advance that change. Wars
