It seems like a figure of Gangrel is something that fans and designers even from the Jakks days have wanted to see.
However the topic of the name Gangrel being trademarked by White Wolf (i think) always seems to be the sticking point.
In these sort of situations, what's stopping a figure like this either being released under a different used name such as Vampire Warrior? Or even with 'The Brood'?
(i aware everything subject to deals with talents. It's more a question of logistics)

Can anyone tell me which figures would have a trunks crotchpiece that would fit elite Samoa Joe? (without long tights) Would a Nikolai Volkoff or Jim Duggan work? Wanna try and make a ROH Joe Tensai maybe? Maybe, i'm considering just getting a Volkoff and just swapping the arms, head and lower legs onto it and keeping the torso, may be a little thinner, but i dont think it will be a massive difference...?

The reason i didnt put this in the 2K17 thread is it seems this will be an issue going forwards with the games.
As we know, we cannot upload our own music into the current gen versions of the game for entrances. Because of this, would you like the option to download packs of entrance music to the game?
What would be cool is if they would do either era packs (90's WCW, Attitude Era, Current, ect) or maybe even have a section in the game such as community creations containing a bank of music that isn't on disk, but can be downloaded as and when you want them.

Hell NO! Leave it the way it is. We going to "retool" things and end up with things like the New elbows nobody wanted or asked for like the Elite Devon and Lugar. But that seemed like a pointless change, where as this would improve the figures (or atleast in my opinion)

We are six years in now they aren't going to change it's design now. Oh yea, i don't see it changing, but to be fair, didnt they change to ball-jointed hips recently or something (again, i could be totally wrong, not the biggest collector)

Joe's mobility is really bad. I don't care how they fix it but I hope they do on the next Joe figure. I would buy a new one if they fixed it and I try to avoid buying more then one of the same guy. I've been tempted to scour ebay for a cheap figure with a larger crotch piece (like Jim Duggan), cutting away alot of the excess on the crotch piece and making like... cloth shorts... see if that works better tbh

Hi guys, i'm not the biggest collector when it comes to Mattel, just don't have the passion i used to when i was a kid for it That being said, i brought the latest Samoa Joe Elite figure... 43 series i think? It looks great, but a massive let down for me is the range of motion in the hips. I only pose the figures, but even so i found it majorly restrictive, and it seems to be due to the shape of the crotch piece because the crotch piece is sort of in a 'trunks' shape I've noticed its not as bad when it comes to most figures with conventional attires and pieces such as Orton or Rollins elites, but still in the back, the shape of the crotch piece restricts movement. I understand why they have it that shape as it is the shape of standard wrestling trunks, but still at the end of the day, these are primarily toys, not sculptures... Would anyone else like to see this piece sort of 're-tooled' going forwards so thats is more of a T shape and the trunks are extended onto the hip pieces? If you cant really understand what i mean, i made a quick mock up So, the top picture is the back of a standard crotch piece, as you can see because of the shape, there is not much range in motion. The one below is more what i propose, the red lines are the 'joints'. Give the trunks more of a T shape and extend the trunks onto the hip parts, this would give a much better range in motion and extending onto the hips will stop the trunks looking like underwear. What do you guys think? Do you encounter this problem? think of any other viable ways to resolve it or agree if you do?

Without cracking the torso the only way to make the shoulder tighter is...wrap a rubber band (the clear ones they use to hold in Elites works) around the shoulder and push it into the shoulder housing. Or wedge some cotton into the shoulder housing. Either way will tighten the shoulder. Freezer works for breaking free stuck joints not tightening them. I wouldn't use super glue on the shoulder because it has multiple points of articulation in the shoulder design and you can't see what the glue is getting on and then you might have glue something unknowingly. Brilliant, thanks. I will try the cotton wool. Let u know how well it works

Not that I know of. My friend froze a figure from a dare and it apparently fixed the joints on it. I wouldn't recommend it though. Hmm... I'm wondering if i could inject superglue with a thin nozzle into the cavity between the shoulder and torso, and move the arm constantly as it dries?

What do you guys think? - Could there be one? - Would you buy it?
Id love to see one, and i'd honestly love it to have a mode more like WWE All Stars, the product does not need a serious simulator style control scheme in my opinion. Camp it up, make the storylines ever more extreme and out there than Lucha Underground itself!

Hi guys. Not really much of a collector, only the occasional stand out one these days.
Brought an E41 Balor today and the right arm just spins round like crazy. The joint between the shoulder and the upper torso was stiff on purchase, but after one full spin, its just spinning freely.
I've seen a few ways to fix this, but they seem to involve opening the figure up. I have never done this, and dont want to. Removing the arms using hot water from the shoulder is one thing, but i dont want to risk breakng the figure.
Is there any way to fix this without cracking open the upper torso?

First of all, i'd not way im a collector really. I have about... 8? figures of very specific people.
One question, are all the Goldust figures short? Three figures i have are the WM Heritage Kane, E29 Goldust and E41 Finn Balor. Goldust (6'6) is dwarfed by Kane (7'0) and is roughly the same height as Finn (5'11)
Are all the Goldust figures like this? What is Mattel's scaling like in general?

We have Mick Foley announced for the SC Podcast, and its been a pretty high profile interview show so far. Legends w/ JBL also has a really slick and professional feel to it.
I'm wondering who you wanna see on both shows next. Be realistic, JBL isnt going to be interviewing Vampiro and SCSA isnt going to be interviewing CM Punk or Brian Pillman (sadly)
To me, the shows are quite similar so i wont necessarily select who's show i want these guys interviewed on unless i do specify for a reason. As i see it, The SC Podcast is more hard-hitting and behind the scenes on the guests themselves, where as JBLs is more formal and an overview of the guys careers. For me, i'd like to see:
Undertaker Goldust Jerry Lawler Sting Kane Chris Jericho The Rock

The stupid Ryback name doesn't help, I put it in another thread, but it sounds ridiculous... My idea from another thread was put him in a black singlet with a silver stripe down the back. Stands out more than just trunks and isn't gaudy as hell like his old singlets. Then repackage him as
'The Silverback' Ryan Reeves... Hell, the name Ryback came from a combo of silverback and Ryan.
Then, i might take him more seriously and not see him as something like a generic Create-A-Wrestler
