And the PS4 stands alone. It's funny... I went from having no interest in this game, to wanting to purchase it due to the fact that an old acquaintance is in it. Then, my wife surprised me with a $50 PS4 gift card for my birthday last year, which cemented my decision. Now... I'm incredibly tired of waiting.
I know it's not their fault. They were learning as they went. It just sucks that the one console I could get this for, is the one that's still not ready.

Clerks: The Animated Series is some of the best animated comedy I’ve ever watched. Late to this discussion, but Clerks: TAS is seriously one of my favorite things ever. Every time I hear that Kevin Smith is revisiting the Clerks characters, I always hope that he'd broach the idea of casting Alec Baldwin in a cameo as a live action Leonardo Leonardo. I thought he'd have been the perfect walk-in role at Mooby's as a customer. Wouldn't even have to self identify...just a suit, a goatee, and the voice. If you know, you know. Why are we walking like this? "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit, you old hag!"

In my opinion, the fact that it's so self-aware, takes me out of it. I get that's what's supposed to make it funny, but it tries way too hard. I don't think I can stomach a season two.

Could they? Definitely. Should they? No. What footage do they even have, after they erased all the 'GFW Amped' episodes?

Got the first 15 on DVD before the Network. Saw the very few I missed in the first place, once I got the Network. Every Mania season, I watch all the WMs I was present at (11, 24, 28, 33) as a way to hype myself up. Oh you poor bastard I was fifteen. A freshman in high school, and a year away from becoming a true 'smark'. I know the card sucked, in hindsight, but my favorite part of the evening was getting to see my childhood hero, Roddy Piper, live in person. Again, in hindsight, they could've used him better, but for what it was, the whole experience was a nice memory.

As soon as Dr. Britt's face got the crimson mask, I thought - "If they make another T-shirt out of this, I'm getting it."
They did...and I did.

This is the first WrestleMania in Florida, with fans, that I will NOT be attending. It makes me kind of bummed that the streak is broken.
By the same token, notwithstanding the lingering Covid concerns, the WWE product is not what it was, just a few years ago. Coupled with the last couple live events I've been to (pre-pandemic) being AEW shows... I'm just happy to watch the Peacock archives.
I thought I'd be depressed missing a Mania in person, but surprisingly, I feel nothing.

Gonna guess 2 is the lie. 3 seems plausible and 1 seems too specific. You are correct sir. The inspiration for the lie is that it's not true for MY family, but rather my wife's. The marriage has since ended in divorce, but she has cousins (and I have FB friends) with the last name of Quaid. While they were still family, Dennis & Meg were invited to a wedding on the wife's side of the family. They politely declined, as to not outshine the bride and groom. Ms. Winger acted like she was doing me a huge favor. I had her confused with Debra Messing, and my mom (first only hearing her voice), asked her if anyone ever told her she sounded like Debra Winger. Then, she opened the dividing curtain. Bumped into Tyson at the mall. Shortly before a crowd formed, he grabbed me in a giant hug and signed a dollar bill for me.

1. I met and and talked with ex NHLer and Maple Leafs God Doug Gilmour at my girlfriend's cousin's wedding. He wore jeans to the wedding. 2. I met David Hasselhoff who touched my ear and neck while trying to pat me on the shoulder. He was pretty fecking drunk. 3. I met a d*ck out completely naked ex NHL referee Paul Stewart when I was 16. He signed an autograph for me. Gonna guess number 1 as the lie. Any more takers on mine? I'd hate to give it away so soon.

Thought I'd try something fun. I'm going to play the ol' Two Truths and a Lie game, specifically pertaining to my own celebrity encounters. Guess the lie. Here we go...
1 - Actress Debra Winger visited me in the hospital by accident, when she wandered into my patient room.
2 - I am distantly related to actors Dennis & Randy Quaid, through marriage.
3 - I was once hugged by former boxing champ Mike Tyson, in a shopping mall.
I'll let a few guesses go before I reveal. Feel free to join in and share your own!

TK himself has hyped this up so much, that almost anyone mentioned this week would be a disappointment.
I believe Christian will be in the ladder match.

For the ladder match, realistically, I'm going to say Chris Hero.
For the major signing, I'm going to go a bit unrealistic, seeing as he might still be under a contract; but I think of "Hall of Fame worthy major star", and I think of Brian Danielson. I think that would be a Luger/Rude-on-Nitro-level shocker. Realistically, though, I haven't a clue who it could be, but I have a sinking feeling the name could be a letdown.

I bought Dr. Britt as soon as the AEW line was up for sale, simply because I'm a huge fan of hers, and this will be her first of any type of figure (Yes, I will also pre-order her first Jazwares figure). I have no other desire to collect Micro Brawlers.

I went into this knowing I would cherry pick. I don't have the space or the pocket money to do full sets. Hell, several years back, I decided I would be picky. Only collecting figures I really liked, of guys I enjoyed.
So far, I have the Bubbly Jericho RSC (which was my first Jericho since WCW Ring Masters), for the AEW figure belt. Then, the wife got me S1 Omega for my birthday last year. Just this afternoon, I snagged a Pre-Order #3 of Jungle Boy. Now, once Dr. Britt gets her first figure, I'll pre-order one, and then I'll be satisfied.

Dark is such a double-edged sword for me. On one hand, I want to love it for all it gives to the indie community. It was also the way for me, on the first night of 2020, to finally see Awesome Kong in action in person. She literally squashed poor Skyler Moore. However...
These days, it's just a slog to get through. Never thought it would be longer than a Dynamite episode. I find myself looking up the advertised card, days before, and if there are matches I want to see, I watch only those, as I skip around after it 'premieres'.
