I'd love to see that remote control Hogan! That's got to be incredibly goofy :-D I know! Hoping that the video will be posted here somehow.

I guess they didn't consider the ones named as marketable enough back then but to be honest I don't think merchandising was WCW's strong point as they often missed the boat with things like that. Exactly.

Wow! A remote control Hogan? Wonder what that was like... I am pretty sure there was a video posted here showing it in operation ( he would swing his arms around like a windmill and walk around) it was a hard wire remote control . It had no paint apps. I don’t recall if it was posted here by the seller or someone else. No way!!! I’d love to see it!

Never knew that. Any recollection of the price it brought? It sold for around $400 if memory serves me right the same seller also sold a remote control hogan figure prototype (probably around 1990s era). I sent the link to a avid hogan collector I use to deal with regularly who lives in Australia so I am guessing he owns both items. The remote figure only sold for around $600 I think. I messaged the seller about information on the items but he never replied . Wow! A remote control Hogan? Wonder what that was like...

Would have loved. A toybiz Eddie... The worst part is we were set to get on in an international set with Davey Boy, Ultimo Dragon and Piper. They had prototype drawings but the line was cancelled I know. Bummer...

These were produced by ljn but never released. The hogan car (no figure) was sold on eBay a few years back but none of the others have appeared as of yet . It looks like the piper and hogan figures in the top pic in the cars are small plastic figures with articulation at the shoulders and probably hips/legs like small doll house figures but nothing has ever been discussed about those 2 figures. I don’t recall ever hearing confirmation on why they were never released. They would have been pretty cool to have on display. Wow! That’s amazing. I’d be curious to see what it fetched myself.

Never knew these were expected to hit stores. It makes you think what happened? Clearly there may be more tp the ljn line after all...I can visualize an attempt at MOTU at that time, almost STOMP like..But who knows.? the way that new info pops up today from a line going on 35 years old is absolutely astounding! I know! Thrilled to have found it but definitely intrigued for more!

To me, it looks like an LJN product catalog. This I screenshot from Instagram but I don’t know the account or else I’d message him. These are from the 1985 trade show catalog. Nice! Thank you sir!

I've seen that before but I'll be damned if I remember what exactly it came from. A Toy Fair or LJN product catalog, if I had to guess. When I first saw it, it was posted here by someone who knew. If you want to really dig back a few years, you should be able to find the old thread. It kinda looks like they cut the bendies in half and plopped them in the driver's seats so they'd fit. That'll make them look weird. The JYD is the prototype w/shorts instead of pants as well, so maybe these were indeed different than the released bendies we all know. To me, it looks like an LJN product catalog. This I screenshot from Instagram but I don’t know the account or else I’d message him.

My God, these are awesome. I've never seen this before! The two vehicles are definitely from the Rock n Wrestling cartoon (both featured prominently in the cartoon's intro). The motorcycles, I'm not so sure, but damn, would I love to have these. What's with the Hulk & Roddy figures in the cars, though? They look totally different than the regular bendy figs. Were they to be made exclusively for the vehicles? Wish I knew but I agree with you. They look different.

Hahaha! Those are hilarious! I've never seen or head of these before. Great find! I can vaguely remember Piper doing a skit or two with a hot rod type of car during the live action vignettes during the Rock & Wrestling cartoons. That’s what i thought they were from initially, Rock n Wrestling!

I came across this photo from what looks to be an old catalog. If anyone has some insight on these, please share. I’d love to know more.

Hello all. Been branching out as of late. Curious if anyone could provide scale comparisons between these two lines. I realize LJN is bigger but I may be adding the rubber wcw osftm ones to my display. Thanks!
