I can't believe Vince is going to put himself on TV tonight. I don't see any positive way that this can go. Why draw attention to this and put it on TV? This has nothing to do with the show, it's not a story line; why waste TV time to draw attention to a real life corporate matter that cannot possibly result in anything positive? If he comes out in character as "Mr. McMahon" and yells and screams and denies and makes threats....it's just going to come off as sad and desperate and pathetic and is just going to make things worse. If he comes out NOT in character and he cries, and he apologizes, and he pleas for forgiveness and hopes that he has the opportunity to come back as CEO when the investigation is over because he LOVES the company and the fans,...I still don't think it's going to matter. It's not like the board is going to take it easy on him if he falls on his sword tonight, so why even dredge this up on TV? I just don't see a way that taking this issue and putting it on TV will help in ANY way. Either way, we are probably in for what is going to be a real sad, awkward and uncomfortable scene tonight. I get the feeling Vince still thinks half the viewers don’t have the internet, so this explains that he’s stepping back and Stephanie is interim CEO. If the end is truly here, this is probably his way of thanking the WWE Universe live one last time. I don’t see any crying or denying anything, but I’ve been wrong before.

So what’s the crowd going to do tonight? Thank you Vince? You still got it?

You ever wonder what their profit margins are on one individual figure when the company PROFITS millions and millions? I can’t speak for retail, but I remember McDonald’s taking 1 of the 2 pieces of cheese off the double cheeseburger, labeling it the Mcdouble and keeping the same price. They made millions off a 15 cent piece of cheese because of how many they sell. And they make about a nickel of profit off every dollar spent. I can only assume is similar for things like action figures.

Not sure how to quote my post from the reveal thread. This figure is a huge cash grab. Granted, we didn’t get anything new besides a few hands. Elbow pads, kneepads were asked for a while ago. At the very least Mattel could of bothered to gloss his boots or throw in a new headscan which we’ve been asking for since the release of his DM. I’m going to sell my two other Goldberg’s and just replace it with this one. I would of gladly given up one of the belts for a new headscan though. Are we sure that extra head isn’t new? It doesn’t appear to have the same wrinkles as the overused one. At the very least those eyebrows are painted better. I’m not holding out hope for more, but there could be other accessories not shown yet. Occasionally we get incomplete prototype listings.

From the Zombie figures we've actually seen, I don't remember any in WWE-only looks or attire. Looking at the Zombie stuff we've seen so far, as well as Chella's stuff it's either been looks and gear that the wrestlers own, or has been tweaked enough to not be a direct representation. I was mostly speaking against the people claiming that ANY pink and black Owen gear was off the table, and only his pre-wwe stuff would be available. We can get pink and black, just worst case scenario the logos might be slightly different. As far as I can tell, with zombie, we've seen Brooklyn Brawler in gear he only wore in wwe, and Power and Glory in mostly the same gear except the "Power" and "Glory" have been tweaked. Plus we got the Double J that's an exact recreation of his unreleased hasbro. And with chella were getting Adam Bomb, Gangrel, Demolition, Hart Foundation Bulldog, JOB Squad Al Snow, Luna Vachon and Rhythm n Blues Greg Valentone all in what seems to be their wwe gear. But you might be right, maybe non-aew companies are just small enough to get away with it. Maybe it’s not the size of the company, but the size of production. If they got approval from WWE’s legal team to put these figures into production, especially if Mattel does not have the individuals signed to a contract and a figure planned, it’s not an issue? Or maybe they strategically went after former stars that no longer have ties to WWE in general and the figures aren’t going to end up on store shelves? In Owen’s case, they’ve just confused us even more though. The shirt released has a KOH logo, the lions he had on that attire, and an incomplete pink heart in the background. But, the attire he’s wearing on the shirt and in promos for the tournament he’s in his Japan attire. My best guess would be as mentioned already, Martha wants to keep the WWE imagery to a minimum, and Vince already has enough bad press over Owen as it is and likely won’t push the issue too far here. Didn’t Mark Henry do a lot of work to put the Owen stuff together in AEW? Maybe he and WWE executives worked out some deals?

I don't expect 3 new sculpts. I'm hoping they include the open mouth head. I think that's being a bit optimistic... I think we'll probably get one new one - plus the screaming head. I definitely don’t either, but it would be the right thing to do considering that Goldberg’s attire is literally black trunks. I really don’t want to see any reused scans. This is the Ultimate Edition, it should be a Goldberg figure at it’s premium. Fists, belt something to make it stand out. Otherwise, it’s just milking a cash cow. We’ve seen Hogan come with three scans, belt, glasses etc. I’ll take a three scans over a generic shirt I wouldn’t display him in. Predicting this one is a bit tricky. Since it’s an Amazon exclusive it’s got a budget all to itself, but considering his simple attire choice it’s more comparable to Austin’s figure. Steve came with 3 heads but only 1 was new. Of course, Bill’s first head was pretty good but getting those eyebrows to look stern instead of ‘concerned’ has always been an issue. So I could see that one, the newer screaming one, and maybe a smirking scan added as well, which I would prefer over say, a tongue out version. Austin had a new torso, I believe, so getting a new one for Goldberg makes sense as well. Maybe they could use the most recent Rock torso as it’s close to Bill’s physique. Like you said, Steve mentioned trying for new things, so maybe this is where it’s at. Also, he very rarely wore a Harley jacket, but never with ring gear, so no need for that or an extra set of arms, but he’ll probably have a cloth shirt thrown in anyway. I’d like the gloss boots as well, but I have my doubts. Add in some gloved hands and both titles and I think that’s a baseline for what we’ll probably get.

Frederick Target update:
There are wrestling figures in 3 different areas of the toy section right now.
The main second has a metric ton of Legends. Mostly Cowboy Bob, but all the rest too. No Jake chases. RR Big E only. Some Top Pick Elites of Roman Bill and Jeff. E81 Street Profits only. 1 E91 Owens. Basic 125 Ember and 126 Bobby Fish. I didn’t see anything else new so I kind of zoned out with basics. Sorry. Several cases of UE Taker and Kane. Only looked at the Kane in front who had the full mask paint but couldn’t see if the arm was correct or not. AEW Shida and Haggar by the dozen and 1 Unmatched Miro.
Endcap just down from the wrestling isle had a couple pegs of Legends Bob Orton.
The isle before where the Transformers, DC and Marvel figures are had a small WM display at the end closer to electronics that had: E89 Drew, Bobby, and Damien. E90 Orton, Uce, and Bronson.
So overall pretty stacked. Shame I missed RVD and Hogan, but they’re all hitting now.

I work for Costco’s distribution center on the East coast. Due to the container vessels that sat off the coast of the ports for months last year I can tell you we’re offloading freight that was lined up to go on sale around Thanksgiving last year. I know some people that deal in Target’s distros and they’re going through the same thing. They can handle 2 months worth of product in stores and the distro centers are trying to get 6 months worth of freight out of their buildings. My guess would be that some areas are getting more of these older sets in and placing them in the endcaps. It’s going to be an odd year until things get caught up. Thanks for helping explain -- though I'm sure the people who keep insisting I am wrong will keep saying that, despite the facts...
I mean, in the past Mattel has shipped whole middle isle displays with product included inside the shrouded pallet, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility. But this makes more sense that some cardboard pieces for the endcap were done up here in the states and sent to the stores and told to put whatever was in warehouses with it.

Haven’t been hunting for past year. But noticed this today… When did this happen? They were $15.88 last time I was an avid hunter. Why not just get of RSC at this point? Good point. I feel like we do go through this each year around mid to late January. Every time the price increases a little more. They don’t sell well and halfway to Christmas they drop back down in price. I thought the year before they were $17-ish. But yeah, depending on who you need right now, Ringside minus the cost of gas will save you some money.

Agree or not, this is the tactful way to discuss your complaints with Mattel, or any company for that matter. No name calling, no threats, no entitlement. Just details on what you wish would be changed. This board would be a lot friendlier if all issues were discussed like this.

User CM Trunks on page 7 of this thread said he was an international customer, so I’m thinking that link on messenger for people outside of the US and Canada would be the way to go. To clarify, I'm in Canada which is what I meant by international customer. Seems like international customers outside of Canada have to contact their respective branch of Mattel customer service. Haha. Oops. 😅 Thanks for the clarification. Not sure why I didn’t think Canada was a possibility.

I got that same response. They then responded with what info they needed and I sent all that to them so now I’m just waiting on their next response. It’s just a slow process I think Just curious, when did you message them and when did they get back to you? I messaged late Friday night, instantly got their return message, and then sent them the photos of the figure and that message hasn’t been viewed yet. I would think they’re probably closed over the weekend, and/or they are now overwhelmed with messages about it.

Has anyone seen the Royal Rumble figures in the area yet? They hit Frederick Target. Well, they did at some point any way. There were 3 Big E’s only. Also had elite Top Picks 3 Jeff and 2 Goldberg. Basics haven’t changed in weeks. There were a couple each Legends standard Jake and Bob and 1 HHH. AEW figures are just a ton of Shida and Haggar. Think I saw a MJF from that wave, and an Unmatched Miro. Cannot confirm because I ran out of time, but there might have been 3 Sting exclusives at the 85 Walmart along with a full case and a half of the wave with Lance Archer and FTR.

Because he’s provided updates on lots of things in that thread regularly. These things don’t get made overnight after all. Because people keep asking, as I stated. But ok Okay, I’ll concede. I’m sure Steve and others should spend every waking hour on this board and give answers they don’t even have readily available two seconds before anyone can even think to ask them. In fact, judging by the tone of most of your posts, the executives at Mattel sit on their ivory tower all day counting money and looking for ways to screw everything up to laugh at these complaints. Makes me wonder why anyone would want to continue in a hobby that brings them absolutely no joy in life at all….

Huh? Literally the other day he said the parts are being made now and he’ll let us know in various areas when to contact CS as to not overwhelm them. And what I said was wrong how? Because he’s provided updates on lots of things in that thread regularly. These things don’t get made overnight after all.

To be fair, Steve has said multiple times that he will let us know when they are available in the US and that contacting customer service before then would be a waste of time. Good, so we can wait for 2 years and never hear any updates until people keep asking about it and he will come and say “stay tuned” ? I think that’s why people don’t listen because they can never give an estimated time when to expect things. Huh? Literally the other day he said the parts are being made now and he’ll let us know in various areas when to contact CS as to not overwhelm them.

Glen Burnie north did reset. Only 3 top picks Cena and a basic 121 Bayley. And someone must have hid them as they have aew unrivaled 4 Sammy Guevara and Kenny omega I was just about to post the same about Rt 85 in Frederick, only they’re mid-reset. Wrestling section is now on the back wall of all places. There’s 6 Basic 123 Brauns and 1 Atlas. They have 1 newer series Ember Moon, 1 BP Charlotte/Ripley, and an AEW Haggar.

I like how they upped the price for Brodie. Smh Thinking like a business owner; I’m receiving cases of figures. 1 figure in the set is going to be stupid high demand. The rest are probably going to take up space in my warehouse until I put them on so much of a sale that I’m losing money for the most part. I can listen to customers whine and increase the price on the high demand figure to encourage buyers to get the whole set and make back some of what I’m going to lose to the cherry pickers, or I can price it like the rest and deal with customers whining because I ran out of stock on day one to people that will flip it on eBay for 4 times more and then some. For those that I’ve lost, that equals a lose/lose situation. But feel free to ignore logic and blame it solely on greed. Many will regardless…
