Is the Retro ring available anywhere at retail? What's a reasonable price for it? Least I've seen so far is 28 quid

I honestly think that people should be looking at US auction sites or US based members of this site rather than the likes of the shop of wrestling. The Dodgy Dunne situation, their various auctions for Dunne, Black et al and regularly bumping up prices on sought after figures basically makes them glorified scalpers. Their profit margins on some figures must be scandalous. They are really abusing the customer base. If you have the expendable income to pay waaaay over the odds for mass produced figures then fair enough, but if you are fooling yourself into feeling that you have to pay £60+ for a figure via auction then stop and explore your options. Look abroad, Dunne's price has been in free fall the past week or so. He is becoming more widely available. With actions abroad you usually see postage and import costs up front with the global shipping programme. Form relationships with US board members and help each other out, maybe in time you can return the favour with UK based figures. Ultimately look after your finances, these are very uncertain economical times that we are heading into, do not risk looking back at spending over the odds for figures with regret. Here here! Well said mate! I too feel strongly about this - certain traders are literally leaving people out of pocket with their astronomical prices. Don't fall for the cosmetic hype and use your noddle, it's probably cheaper abroad now!

I still have a Woolworths carrier bag around here somewhere, even has a receipt in it for CS Rick Rude. Oh they days when a proper figure cost £7. Treasure the memories my friend!

Just bought wrestlemania battlepack edge and jeff hardy from the entertainer 19.99 delivered. Only bought it for the jeff figure. Wish mattel would have made the figure in the elite line. Lucky you!! It's now sold out online

Brilliant posts guys! Has really made me miss the days of yester-year and and some of the awesome sets and toys that were around in my childhood.
So much so, I've started collecting retro lego castle sets that I was never able to get as a kid. Anybody else into Lego here?

Hi Folks..Merry Xmas!! Crimbo always brings back a lot of childhood memories for me - growing up throughout the late 80s and 1990s was an amazing time - especially for action figures. Just was reminiscing today and came across some fond memories: - Getting my hasbro figures from Argos - including my Ric Flair and Arn Anderson Galoobs
- Remember getting my Akeem and Ultimate Warrior from WHSMIHS!! Believe it or not, but they used to stock WWF figures once upon a time
- After the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie came out, Argos was quick to stock the whole line of action figures, unfortunately my parents said no!
- Woolies - remember my Dad forcing an employee to go to the back and check if they had any more blue hasbro wrestling rings as he kept saying they were sold out. Lo' and behold, he came out with the last one! Amazing goosebump moment in finally getting a ring for all my hasbro figs - before I used to cut a cereal box side off and use it as a makeshift ring lol.
Funnily enough in our house, my brother was more a Batman fan, so during Xmas i'd ask Santa for WWF/WCW figs and he'd want something to do with the Bat...a hell of a task for my parents to hunt these things down! Fortunately or unfortunately, I was both a WWF and WCW fan - in large thanks to ITV's coverage of WCW worldwide on Saturday afternoons. Makes you think, in an age where there were no mobiles, internet or social media; our parents would literally drive from shop to shop not knowing if they would find what they were after. Hats off to them!! I've also managed to find some awesome scans from retro argos catalogues - note the price of figs back then. Pretty cool! Feel free to share your childhood memories too guys

The thing about Austin refusing to job to HHH at SSlam 99 is nonsense. Many have said Austin backed HHH to be the next guy over Jarrett(who he did despise) & Gunn. Vince wanted to milk their programme by having Austin claim HHH never beat him. Also don't forget Austin wasn't that much of a factor here.....they knew he was headed for surgery from the day after Fully Loaded 99. Also? HHH won his feud with Austin @ NWO 2001 after running him over........see where I'm going? Now onto HHH vs Steiner.....knowing what they knew about Steiner's condition? Patterson & others suggested a short wild brawl that Evolution would have to rescue HHH from. This was nixed in favour of the snorefest that we got. Also? In no way, shape, fashion or form should a struggling overmuscled HHH & crippled Steiner have followed Angle vs Benoit.......NO WAY. This entire scenario has Trippers ego all over it in my book. just my twopence...... Amen brotha!

The problem is that Vince has made it his personal ambition to project Roman as the face of WWE. This means the following will not apply in this case: common sense, logic, what the fans want, critical feedback from the wrestling community and the projection of any other face.
So it seems to me that in conclusion; poor Seth's heroic display will amount to nothing. Way to drop the ball again WWE! clap....clap....clap!

The Shane/Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn storyline seems to have peaked IMO. It feels like it's made AJ restricted both in and out of the ring. He needs a fresh storyline asap!!

Hi Guys, So I've always debated this in my mind hundreds of times. HHH's monopoly on creative has led to some pretty awful moments of total domination, almost self indulgence to an extreme level. Some examples which spring to mind in the 2012-13 period when he was literally winning every title match and burying guys left, right and centre: - His awful storyline with Scott Steiner - completely buried him
- Burying Goldberg in his first WWE run
- Rob Van Dam - buried!
- Booker T - buried at Wrestlemania!
- CM Punk - ended his career
- Daniel Bryan - attempted to bury career and then ended his career via WWE Doctors
- Sting - the way HHH inserted himself into this feud still makes me mad. It should have been Sting vs. Taker at 'Mania dammit!
Is it just me or does HHH's ego not allow him to enjoy somebody having a good run in WWE? Oh and don't get me started on the finish to Royal Rumble '16 - how pathetic to come and put the belt on himself again!! Thoughts?
