well regularly, you are supposted to bake it. this will harm the figure though, so what you do instead is boil water. when the water is boiling you dip the figure in for 15-30 second pull it out and do it again. you just do this many times until the caly is fully cured. but even with that, sculpy crumbles very easily. it also starts to crack after time. ok thx im plan on making accessories like bricks, cinderblocks, brakeable tile stuff like that anouther +1 for the help

use testors ACRYL/acrylic paint. its is not too thick, but you are supposed to mix and shake it before you paint. many people mess up and buy the enamal testors, thats why it is sticky. for sculpting, the #1 best thing to use is aves fixit sculpt. you can only get it online, but it is the best sculpting compound on the planet. its cement hard when cured. this is what i would tell you to get: paint- testors acrylic, get some from the model car section of walmart. hobby stores will have bigger jars and more colors. sculpting clay- aves fixit sculpt and buy a small pack of sculpy from micheals so you can practice sculpting. since sculpy doesnt air dry, you could use the same pieces over and over again. if it doesnt air dry then how does it get hard? btw +1

OK the guy f1gh7er doesn't know anything about customizing, OK what you need is some sculpy that is a clay that you bake after you made the clay into some hair, than theres super sculpy which is beater than regular sculpy, or you can get some kneadite or milliput, you can find these clays at your local hobby lobby, if you need paint your best bet are acrylic paints never enamel, its to tacky and sticky when its dry, also after you paint you might want to get some paint sealer so if your going to play with your custom. ive never done sculpting before but im just telling him what i know and it was more then he knew
