I love how many marks on FB have been worked by Billy taking off his boots after Malakai whispered in his ear.
Like they didn't see the exact same thing happen with Cody two years ago.
Priceless.
Hopefully this leads to Billy and the Acclaimed winning the trios belts.

Really looking forward to being there - I had some trouble with my presale code but, thankfully, a stranger online hooked me up with his! Wrestling fans are truly the best.
This is going to be such a fantastic experience.

In a fairy-tale world, it would be CM Punk and FTR vs The Elite in the main event.
It would be nice to see PAC and my other fellow compatriots get big moments. Perhaps PAC could win the TNT championship, Saraya and Hayter could have a World Championship match etc.
Obviously some NJPW talent would make a difference here as well; Ospreay and ZSJr being the biggest of course, and then Ibushi, Okada, Tanahashi, and Naito will probably be the most recognisable to the UK fans. Perhaps a face-off between the current Bullet Club and The Elite?
As much as I don't want to give her any credit, Mercedes Mone would probably be good for business here as well.
I also think the card needs to feature a lot of strong former WWE names putting over AEW guys. Mox, Jericho, Christian, Danielson, The Hardys(?), Joe, and maybe even Paul Wight all need to put someone over. Casual fans need to see that AEW is somewhere their favourites wrestle now, but it's not an old-people's home.
Finally, I think Sting needs to have his retirement match and for it to be advertised like mad.

Why would you remove someone from the HOF because they did something upsetting in a different context?

Hulk got his WWE send-off match against Orton in 2006 didn't he?
Then he had a few absolute classics in TNA.

Goldust isn't Goldust if he isn't a pervert. Post-RA Goldust was just Dustin Rhodes in facepaint so what's the difference between watching him on Mondays and watching him on Wednesdays?
I don't get some of you at all. If you want to watch Dustin, watch him.

The last thing I want is another "attitude era". Ruined wrestling for me for years. Amen.

Can anyone explain to me what was wrong with that crowd this week? Hardly any noise, no real heat during the Punk/Mox segments, no pops for Death Tringle or FTR/Wardlow when they popped up on screen, "WHAT?" during Jungle Boy's promo... just dead!

First episode of WWE telly I've watched in over three years and I have to say it was the most I've enjoyed an episode in years! I'll be watching SmackDown! instead of Rampage from now on.
Kross getting the presentation he should have had from the off, Liv saying shit on the air, and every segment connected together! Each non-wrestling segment fed into a match organically and everyone looked great. Quality all round.

I think it's when you get to an age where the suspension of disbelief is impossible and you're looking at it as a performance. It's a bit like with films - as an adult you never lose yourself in the story or characters of a film because you're looking at whether or not the performances are good, the score, the cinematography, what decisions you would have made differently etc. It's the same with music and anything else we consume. Wrestling becomes just another media in your life, but as a kid you are absorbed by it and totally sucked in by the story, so you don't see the mechanics of it despite them being on full display.

TK should do everyone a favour and not have any more gimmick matches for a while. That barbed wire match was painful in all the wrong ways.

Not unless they give him his first name back, he has a shave, and they start writing better stories for him.
Wrestlers are only as good as their stories. Stone Cold would never have been what he was without the writing/booking, same with Hogan, same with Cena. They've finally got Reigns right, but for seven years they were failing catastrophically.
Owens, Rollins, AJ, Lashley, Drew ... They're all just faces in the crowd in WWE. The only people whose booking they're getting right are Reigns and Pat!
