Do you guys think taker has a modified elite 23 torso, with the added ripped sleeves from the basic purple taker? It looks like he does, if so, after swapping the head, tie and coat from the EG...I'll have my perfect early 90s undertaker

I tried the exacto knife, and it worked perfectly! You really don't need to take much off at all and then it's good to go. Breaks in three pieces perfectly from just a little body slam Ordered two more brown tables, and the red white and blue ropes this morning. Still hoping my signature series Hogan and ambrose will be in stock soon...dying to get those figures!

Awesome work man, I did the same for my belt too. Oddly enough, it seems like mattel may have messed up the two end plates...they should be reversed. At least that's how a few pics on Google show it

I'm still pissed we never got a current version of Kevin Nash in 2011 to represent his look during his feud with CM Punk and Triple H. I would buy a current figure of Nash with his arm sleeve tatoo easily. I don't care if it's long brown hair, ,pony tail, or short gray hair.... Couldn't agree more. You figure, he had a decent feud at the time, and his rumble entrance was pretty popular and yet, nothing. Even steamboat got a current look figure from his feud with jericho.

I would like to see a simple repaint of the existing nash, but just in black and white, with the nwo logo on the front of his tank top. Throw in a spray paint can, and I dunno...a chair or break away table that's been tagged with nwo.
Basically, I just want matching nwo black and white attires for the original 3 members.

I love the concept of the tables breaking in 3 pieces, but does anybody else have a really hard time getting it to actually break correctly? Mine always breaks in two pieces...but I don't know if it's just mine? Was thinking about picking up another with goes that it works a bit better. I had the same problem. I had to slam a figure threw it like 200 times to try to loosen it up but I found a better way, just take a hobby knife and make the holes bigger on the connection pieces. Don't remove a lot at the same time, just do a little at a time and keep testing it. Did this to a few of my jakks tables that were stiff. Worked like a charm! Thanks buddy! I'll give it a shot!

Smart move. Aprons should be next....and maybe turnbuckle covers? This. If they could get the rights to do wwe skirts and turnbuckles...there's insane possibilities.

Not sure but before he started wearing the camo T-shirt and it was just the black singlet and tights he wore black elbow pads. Would you mind sharing who the elbow pads came from? I just painted the original ones from the legends figure

This was posted a long while back by another member on here, but it's a phenomenal read with some great insight on Matt Osborne. Very interesting stuff, and maybe you'll appreciate the man behind the face paint if you didn't before. Like everyone else said, Doink was at his best when he was played by Matt, and it's a shame that he didn't get to do more with the character. deadspin.com/dead-wrestler-of-the-week-maniac-matt-borne-aka-doi-659331900

THANK YOU!! Somebody gets it! Those gifs also show how nicely Mattel matched his body type with that torso choice(and all of the parts, really)...and also why the 3 different wigs were chosen as accessories. can't freaking wait. If you listen to WM9, Heenan says something like 'I know this man, I know I've seen him somewhere before,' as if they were actually toying with revealing him as Matt Borne, at least alluding to him being something other than what he appeared. They were pushing him as a technical wrestler with a mysterious past with confusion as to why he was dressed as a clown if he was such a talent in the ring. Look at the stuff he does. I can't remember what happened, maybe Borne had drug problems? But the guy's entrance had replaced no less than the Undertaker's as the one that spooked children. He could have become something like Mankind/Mick Foley and he could go in the ring, there was real potential there. Hell original Mankind and Doink's music even have similarities! Hello! lol It was something really cool that fell apart. I want Evil Doink vs Ultimate Warrior in the bizarro feud of the century, I can just see Doink smearing Warriors face paint all over and saying 'you're just another clown like me, hiding from everything behind a mask.' If all people saw was the Doink and Dink nonsense, of course who would really care for him. I guess part of the effect in the beginning with Evil Doink, was that this man wasn't a clown, so why was he dressed like one? Then they just made him a clown and didn't get back to anything like that until Mankind. Joker + Pennywise + Matt Borne I suppose. Then he tried to continue it to some degree in ECW and maybe other indies I don't know. Hope this explains why some of us are so pro Doink and others seem confused. lol It's understandable, things didn't exactly pan out. Yeah he did have a drug problem (like a lot of guys from that era before drug testing was really enforced. Apparently he said in an interview that he and Piper became really close friends, and he kind of introduced him to the lifestyle, which during that period was work hard, play harder. But that's how he ended up dying, he overdosed, sadly. Funny you mention the WM 9 match, I just watched that over the weekend (due to my excitement over these pics leaking lol) and I thought the same thing about Heenan teasing something bigger down the line for Doink. From what I remember hearing a while back, was that some guy in wrestling made a comment that the WWF was like a three ring circus because of all the crazy characters. So Vince being Vince took that and ran with it, and so Doink the Clown was born.

Seriously Doink was great for a little while there, and he was scary for a bit, especially with the surprise of him being a credible in ring threat. THANK YOU!! Somebody gets it! Yeah I'm going to give this figure the head, coat and tie from my entrance greats. The beard and eyes on this one look kinda odd to me how they're painted. Perhaps final product will look better

Oh no, I hear ya dude. I honestly didn't mean you, it's just a general theme I've noticed in the boards as of late (or always lol) I thought you were really reserved in all honesty. Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course, and I mean, why would you buy something you didn't want?

Despite being a "clown", Matt was a great wrestler. It wasn't his fault that he usually got squashed, but he could definitely hold his own. I for one am beyond happy and excited for this figure.
I think we all need to learn to chill the heck out on these boards sometimes. It seems like if we don't agree with somebody on something, we tend to get a bit offensive...almost like, hey, you like that? Well I don't so you're dumb! I'm not pointing fingers or singling anybody out, I just think we need to be nicer sometimes. This is supposed to be fun. Heck, you guys are the only ones I can really talk to about wrestling figures, so I tend to try and enjoy myself.
Anyway, that's my rant. Sorry lol

so uh...you're going to open that, right? LOL i kid i kid.
Can you tell what torso he has? is it the typical warrior one?
Man, I hope we can at least get that head sculpt at mass retail. it's too cool to only be on 15 figures.
congrads buddy, always like to see a TRUE fan get their grail pieces!

Yeah the more I look at the Hogan, I realize I'm definitely going to do an arm swap and give him the Sig series arms. I never liked those arms, and I think the Cena arms are a better fit. Hopefully they have all the same tattoos...

I wonder how the wigs will go on Doinks head, like will there be a peg that plugs into the head, or will it just sit on there? Man, I really really hope these come out sooner than march. Early to mid February would be much nicer I keep checking back throughout the day to see if official pictures are up...can't waittt
