You can't really say something like that and not expect people to react. It seems like you do that all the time. Start something, then act like your the victim. Anyway, sad to see Cardiff go down. But they've had a pretty torid season on and (mainly) off the pitch. Haven't looked at the Championship at all without them, so that's at least one positive. Gonna be tough to go back up, can't see it happening. But a play-off place would be fantastic. Man Utd losing was disappointing too. Was hoping Giggsy would win the remaining games. Oh well, bring on Van Gaal. Needs some big names coming in and a lot of names going out. What on earth in my post could possibly offend anyone? If its the word Yid that seemed to have bothered somebody, obviously I wouldn't apologise for using the word, they call themselves the yid army, I fail to see what else was in my post that would offend. I don't play the victim, I am pretty self assured and wouldn't appeal to anybody to treat me like a victim, never have and never would! elaborate please?[/quote] You probably shouldn't have agreed to the WFigs terms of service then. What is it with people like you? You call people like me names, but its always your kind of people doing the dictating, nobody dictates to me I'm afraid, I'm sure if I'd done anything wrong I'd have been warned, I haven't been, so I haven't! I'll leave it there Yeah, because you never play the victim. MarkW is exactly right. You know that word causes offence so why use it? Just take this to PM guys, add me in if you must.

Well done on getting to a year. Good intro. Glad TNA won and Punk getting the pin puts the icing on the cake. Storm went over well too. Good signs for the future of TNA. Williams vs. Kaz sounds like it will be a decent match. Glad the Alpha Males won, that's a good team you got, hopefully a good long reign. Good re-cap of Daniels in TNA. Nice touch having the roster watching the Daniels/Sting match. Dunno about Daniels winning, I think Sting could have won this one, allowing the re-match where Daniels go over. Esp with team TNA going over earlier, you didn't need to put all the newer guys over. Sad to see the grudge tag match not finish, could have gone with a better match but it does set up another match. Great finish, glad AJ went over. A great end to your blockbuster show. Looking forward to what you do next, some interesting news bits.

You really are a bit of a twat aren't you? Really? says the 'man' who insults people from behind his computer screen! You really are a complete twat aren't you?!? SNW 2015: Looking Ahead
One for the Road (Again): SNW will begin the year with their first ever show in the Netherlands. The show in Holland will be titled, ‘One Night in Amsterdam’. Following the show SNW will jet off once again but this time to the UK where they will host the Be the Best qualifiers, tiebreaker and iPPV show. The qualifiers will be held in Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester. The Glasgow show has been announced to be an iPPV because as well as it being a Be the Best qualifier it will also be a joint show with Insane Championship Wrestling, who were recently on British television with their own documentary show. Announced for the show is fan favourite Grado who will challenge for the SNW World Championship. After the qualifiers, SNW will then visit Wales for a tiebreaker in Cardiff. Then SNW will return to the Alexandra Palace in London for the Be the Best iPPV. SNW will then not return right away to the US as they will go to Calgary for a show set up by SNW’s own Cameron Stone.
Back in the States: SNW’s first show in the US will be in July (although Synergy will be putting on shows before then), where SNW will celebrate its eighth instalment of its summer spectacular, Riot Act. Magnificent 10 will return with its winner going onto main event the Anniversary show, SEVEN to challenge for the SNW World Championship. Clash of the Duos also returns and back as an iPPV too. It will be held over three nights in the FUSE Arena. 2015 will then end as SNW leaves the States once more as they fly off to Japan for a series of shows in the land of the rising sun. So all in all, plenty of air miles for the SNW crew. 2015 will truly be remembered as a year in which SNW travelled the world.
Championship Situation: As we enter 2015 all the champions will be hoping for long reigns. SNW World Champion Mike Bockwinkel has held the title since last July and will be hoping that his second reign can follow in the way of his record breaking Duos title reign. FUSE Champion Riley Shamrock has defended his belt against all challengers, proving himself to be a fighting champion. But can he keep it up in the new year? Women’s Champion Wasp became the second ever women’s champ and will be hoping to improve on Amy Lee’s initial reign. Finally, the Fatality Squad dominated the 2014 Clash of the Duos and look to be unstoppable entering into 2015. Who will stop them? All this and Synergy Wrestling just announced that they will be crowning their first ever champion this year.
DVD Set’s: SNW released three ‘Ultimate Editions’ DVD’s which are a new range of 3 Disc DVD sets highlighting a certain wrestler , group or angle. Last year SNW released a Henry Edwards, Revolution X and Ace Bennett sets. The next three to be released this year are: Kevin Hart, United Front and Mike Bockwinkel. Other potential future sets include the New Age Lady Killers and Mike Hogan.
Provisional SNW 2015 Schedule January- One Night in Amsterdam (iPPV) March- 2 BtB qualifiers (1 iPPV) April- 1 BtB qualifier and tiebreaker May- Be the Best 2015 (iPPV) June- Calgary Show July- Riot Act 8 (iPPV) September- Magnificent 10 October- SEVEN (Anniversary Show) (iPPV) November- Clash of the Duos 2015 (iPPV) (3 Nights) December- Japan Tour

SNW 2014: A Year in Review
SNW started the year with a returning tournament, The Masters of Three was last seen 5 years ago, this year 8 teams battled it out to try and repeat the Adrenaline Boyz 2008 success. The final two came down to two of SNW greatest stables, Revolution X and the AirDevils. In the end, the Devils triumphed. SNW then went to the UK, where they got great crowds and a great media reaction. They held a meet and greet before hand and also a Pre-show which was in association with Progress wrestling. In the main show: Amy, Clark and Hogan retained their titles while the AirDevils followed their Mo3 win by winning the Duos titles.
SNW returned to the States but before they could begin their countdown to Riot Act they stopped off at Synergy, Parkland’s newly named promotion where SNW World Champion Mike Hogan racked up another defence, this time over Cody Rejero. SNW then began the Be the Best tournament 2014. After three nights of action we had three semi-finalists: Mike Bockwinkel, Chris Hammers and Jack Powers. The fourth man was decided on the tiebreaker show where Cody Rejero shockingly won his block. At the iPPV, Bockwinkel and Powers advanced to meet in the finals. Amy, Clark and Hogan retained, as did the AirDevils who defended against the newly formed team of Ace Bennett and Matt Spade, also known as Team Bennett. In the Be the Best finals, Mike Bockwinkel beat Jack Powers to get a shot at the World title at Riot Act.
Synergy then hosted Issue #5 where the AirDevils retained over Jugg and Beast. Back in SNW the road to Riot Act was truly on. At Riot Act VII plenty happened: Jacobs beat his former partner in a Kagemann Deathmatch, Chris Hammers led RevX to defeat Riley Shamrock’s team in Warfare VII and we crowned plenty of new champions. Wasp became the second ever SNW Women’s champ, TCW team Coast to Coast stole the Duos titles from the AirDevils while Mike Bockwinkel beat Mike Hogan to become the new SNW World Champion. The only champ to retain was Carson Clark, but he did so at a cost, he got injured and vacated the title the following week.
But before SNW could crown a new FUSE Champion, Synergy held their first year anniversary show which included Wasp getting her first defence of the women’s title. At ‘A New Coronation II’ not only did SNW crown a new FUSE Champion but two new champions also got their first defences: Mike Bockwinkel and Coast to Coast. Riley Shamrock came through a night of matches to become the new FUSE Champion. At SNW’s next event, Magnificent 10 there were two surprises. Evan Pagano returned for one night and Kevin Hart returned from injury. It was the later of the two that made it all the way to the final and win to get a shot at the new SNW World Champion. Meanwhile, Bockwinkel racked up another defence, this time over AJ Matthews.
SNW then celebrated six years of its existence with their anniversary show. It was headlined by Mike Bockwinkel overcoming Kevin Hart to retain the title. On the rest of the card: Wasp and Coast to Coast both defended against the persons they beat to win the titles, Hammers got the Original 16 eight-man tag pin while Riley also retained the FUSE title. It was then back to Synergy for a Halloween special, where they had guests of Cameron Stone and SNW World Champion Mike Bockwinkel. While Duke Parkland got a win over Stone, his father wasn’t so lucky, losing in a title match to the champion.
SNW then trotted forward to its annual tag team event, SNW’s Clash of the Duos. The three nights told a story of two teams. TCW’s Coast to Coast who went into the tournament as champions, no other team that had walked in as champion had left as champions and they were looking like they would be the first team to do it. But they were stopped in the final hurdle as the re-united Fatality Squad defeated them. Thomas and Kagemann ran though the tournament and there was little opposition. Synergy then closed the year out with a Christmas Special where Riley Shamrock racked up another defence of the FUSE title.

Synergy Issue #8 Christmas Special
The show opened with Petey the Pirate coming out to announce some of the matches. He announced that Jet Jaguar will finally face the Masked Marvel in singles action, the New Age Lady Killers will be in action as a team and the SNW FUSE Championship will be on the line as Riley Shamrock defends against Cody Rejero.
1) Knife Fight vs. Dave Demento and Justin Allusion: Decent enough match to start, both teams are usually heel but Knife Fight played face here (maybe a precursor to what will happen in SNW?) They weren’t exactly natural faces but Demento played heel well to get the crowd behind them. Knife Fight wan following a Spear from Jackal.
2) Noah Lee vs. Baby J Jamerson: These two rookies took each other on in a short and largely uneventful match. Noah was the squeaky clean face while Baby J has obviously been listening to Bockwinkel’s cheating tactics. Lee looked like he had the match won but a small package gave Jamerson a surprise win.
3) Baz Hepburn vs. “El Hijo Nature Boy” Pedro Flair: This was a comedy match for the fans. Baz was loved by the crowd while Pedro’s Lucha Ric Flair gimmick is always fun to see. Lots of good action including a dive by El Hijo. Baz hits the Bazuka for the win.
4) Beast and Jugg vs. Parkland Brothers: This was largely a one sided match but these two teams have previously met in Synergy and it’s clear to see the teenagers development. The brothers built up the hot tag and the crowd exploded when Axel tagged out to his older brother. The Parkland’s are loved in their home promotion and the roof blew off when they kept Jugg down (only after both piling on top of him).
5) Jet Jaguar vs. Masked Marvel: Marvel is a former SNW flop, he was built up like WSX’s Matt Classic but never lived up to expectation. Recently he has shown up in Synergy with a grudge over Jet Jaguar. The match itself was an interesting one, Marvel tried to grapple old school style but Jag was quick to avoid him and use his speed to outwit his fellow masked man. Marvel locked in the bearhug but Jag elbowed his way out of it, then rolled over the top into a sunset flip for the pin.
Intermission. Cody and Baz came out to talk and take photos with the crowd, as ever the fans love the comedy duo Then sleigh bells were heard and Petey the Pirate Santa came out to hand out presents to the young fans, accompanied by Rose Parkland dressed like as Mrs Claus.
6) New Age Lady Killers vs. Mockingbird: Sinn and daddy Parkland were re-united here as they took on the young highflyers. This was a good match which was helped by a hot crowd, not only did they like the Lady Killers but Reid and Caufiled played good cocky heels. They stopped Drew from tagging out which led to a hot tag. Mockingbird held their own, broke up the pin from the Pin Pointer and got the shock win following the Sunset Flip/Dropkick combo.
7) FUSE: Riley Shamrock vs. Cody Rejero: This was a top match that could have easily belonged in an SNW card. Cody came out in special Christmas themed tights and reindeer antlers. Riley played face but the fans were more into Cody which is not what it would be like in SNW. Riley kicked at Cody’s legs and wore him down slowly. There was a tiger driver on the apron from Riley but his suicide dive which followed missed. Back in the ring Cody got his leg on the rope from an Irish Welcoming II and Riley kicked out of the Pepsi Cutter. However, Cody went for the Pepsi Driver but his leg gave out, allowing Riley to hit an Irish Welcoming to retain. Post match, Riley and Cody shook hands.
Drew Parkland came out to close the show, he shook hands with both competitors then took the mic. He announced that next year in 2015, Synergy will crown its first ever World Heavyweight Champion.

I really don't see why Utd should go for Shaw. Their priority should be a top centre back and a top midfielder. Don't get me wrong, I like Shaw but maybe after they've signed a CB and CM, then they can start thinking about strengthening other areas. Maybe I missed something, but Utd still has Evra. Is he moving on in the summer?
Wish Utd went for Eriksen when he was at Ajax, is a class player and they had him on the cheap too. Maybe he's not the box-to-box player they need but I'm sure he'd improve Utd. Not going to happen now. I agree with Dan, Kroos does always look good but would Bayen get rid of him. He was just in the starting 11 against Real. Wingers would be good too, since Utd's current crop are rubbish. Really, they need a massive overhaul.

Bock post a show, Bock posts a show! I can see your dislike for Deathmatches in the opener. Good call and sets up the mystery behind Blackbird. Flying Saint match was so so, seen it before in SNW. How come they could use weapons too? Kitty winning was a shocker, sets up anyone could win the title. Don't really get the Zeke/Jin stuff, dusty finish, at least its over. SN-DUB SN-DUB, why are C2C coming out in SNW shirts, they've never been pro-SNW, they've always fought for SNW. What's up with Spade? Fire and the Fury Mofo. Dragon winning was good and puts the frontline over. Eh another match that hasn't happened. At least we do get a match. Good for Ricky and Ham to stay strong. Dog Collar eh? Tyger/Safu sounded sick, glad Safu went over. Starts this all fresh with the new shows coming out. Good ending adding Bock to the fight. Good news, all sounds good. Can't wait for Warfare, good luck and keep this up.

Clash of the Duos Night 3 2014 Live from the Nationwide Arena, Ohio only on SNW Player
1) CoD: DUOS: Coast to Coast (Donnie East and Chris West) [TCW] vs. Knife Fight (Zakk Static and Cain Jackal): The show opened as it did on the first night with the Duos titles on the line. The commentators put over the fact that alongside the Clash of the Duos Semi-Finals and Finals, all the other titles will be on the line. Anyway, this was a brilliant match. Knife Fight were cheered and not just because they were representing SNW. They were cheered last night too, it’s probably because they have shown so much improvement. The fans thought the title would change hands last night but defiantly thought the same here. East and West looked good as always, this tournament has really established the team from TCW as the best tag team around. The Red Eye Flight pin was broken up which caused the fans to believe there would be a title change. Knife Fight hit the Brainbuster but the Spear was broken up by a diving cross body then the champions hit the Red Eye Flight to retain.
2) CoD: AirDevils (Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell) vs. Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann): The fans were interested in seeing how this one was going to go as the Devils came into the tournament as favourites but Fatality Squad have squashed two teams so far. The Devils are more experienced than the two teams the Squad faced so far but it didn’t make much difference, as the Squad showed dominance again and dropped the former SNW Duos Champions in under ten minutes. Of course the Devils got some offence in but were controlled by the stronger Thomas and madman Kagemann. The AirDevils followed the same way as the Parkland’s and Mockingbird, falling to the Fall/Double Stomp and the Pop-up Doomsday Device.
3) Ace Bennett vs. Jack Joseph vs. Jet Jaguar: Jaguar won a three-way bout last night and was hoping to follow that win with another tonight but he had tougher opponents. Jack is a former two time FUSE Champion and Ace was the first ever Triple Crown Champion. Lots of good fast action packed into a short match. Of course, Ace looked the better man but did have trouble against such tough opponents. But the Team Bennett leader still sealed the win with the Syracuse Drop on Jaguar onto Joseph below.
4) WOM: Wasp vs. Alicia Bennett: This wasn’t much of a match, it was just another squash for the champion. Wasp dominated, Alicia didn’t get much offence in. Matt Spade and the Clive the Janitor were out to support. Spade made Clive a distraction then went to hit Wasp but ended up being suplexed. Wasp then hit the buckle Bomb and the Deadly Sting on Alicia to retain.
5) Cameron Stone and Baby J Jamerson vs. A.J Matthews and Noah Lee: This was also a bit of a nothing match. It focused on the teaming between Baby J and Stone. J was trying to impress Stone but took on more than he could handle with AJ. Noah is improving slowly but he still took the pinfall following a Cam Slam from Stone.
6) Kevin Hart vs. Mike Hogan: These two rivals teamed up on the first night but didn’t make it past the first round. On the second night they got in the way of each other of getting a World title shot. Because this wasn’t the main event slot these two didn’t have a lot of time, but still 15 minutes of work. So there was no let-up from either man as they crammed plenty of action into a sprint style match. As you’d expect the match went back and forth numerous times. Story of the match was Hogan working over the injury which kept Hart out of action for so long. It seemed to work as Hart fell apart trying to hit the Maple Leaf Revenge which led to a Time Warp and a win for the ‘Joker in the Pack’
7) Revolution X vs. Drew, Duke, Axel and Cody Rejero: Big eight man action as all of Rev X (Chris Hammers, Jordan Devine, Safu and LyNN) took on Drew Parkland, his two sons and the Pepsi to his Beer, Cody. The match focused mainly on the dominance of RevX. They kept Axel from tagging out. It’s funny as his older brother Duke went though similar tactics when he first came to SNW. Of course the faces rallied behind the youngster and the hot tag was made. Despite it being eight men in one match, they all had their chance in the ring. But RevX showed their dominance by putting down Duke after Devine hit the Last Minute Orders.
8) FUSE: Riley Shamrock vs. Nick Jacobs: This was a great match. From bell to bell these two tore at each other. Jacobs did a great job in putting over the ‘Young Gun’ but didn’t damage himself at all. They did a bit of everything: technical, highflying, power-game and striking. Striking was Riley’s forte, he smashed Jacobs with shots and in the end, that was the difference. Jacobs was no pushover and hit a brainbuster on the apron and a exploder suplex from the top but both moves didn’t get the win. Riley kicked out of the Jacobs Drop while Jacobs kicked out of the Irish Welcoming II. However, Riley did make Jacobs tap but only after over a minute in the Ode to Shamrock.
Intermission. Surprisingly, Team Bennett (even Clive the Janitor) came out to meet the fans. Fans loved them, Ace was asking why Alicia was getting more photos than him and Spade shouted ‘Cos she’s hot’. This didn’t amuse Ace. Even Clive had some photos as he’s become an unlikely fan favourite. But he didn’t pose for his photos, he just sat down with his feet up on a table with his cap over his face.
9) SNW: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Jack Powers: Some fans hadn’t returned to their seats by the time the bell rung, which was odd but the match was beyond 20 minutes to they still saw plenty of the bout. As you’d expect from these two ring technicians, they went slow and steady. They traded holds like old school wrestlers and the fans were largely appreciative of it. Bockwinkel being Bockwinkel, he used his heel tactics to the full to effect the match. The match started to pick up pace and Bock started to exit to the outside. Powers tried to follow at one point but was caught out by a clothesline. However, Powers battled back into it and in particular his suplexes were causing real damage. Powers focused in on the neck and it looked like we might see a new champ. But Bock was reislaint he blocked a Power Suplex attempt with his leg, then turned to behind Jack, then span Jack around and hit the Bockwinkel Special to retain.
10) CoD: DUOS: Coast to Coast (Donnie East and Chris West) [TCW] vs. Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann): The main event was built up fantastically, firstly you had the champions: who are from TCW, at Riot Act they won the titles and have gone onto face the best SNW has to offer, including Bockwinkel and Stone, Safu and LyNN and Knife Fight in this tournament. But now take on former Duos champions who have ran though all in this tounument so far, the Parkland’s were defeated easily, Mockingbird promptly and the former Duos Champions the AirDevils also easily fell. The fans were on the Squad’s side even though they were heel, they had been built up as unstoppable in this tournament so far and were SNW’s last hope of taking the titles off the team from TCW. Into the match the Squad dominated the early goings and it looked like another squash for Thomas and Kagemann. They stopped West from tagging out and it looked like they got the win after they hit him with the Fall/Double stomp combo only for it to be broken up by East. The Squad continued to dominate but then the TCW team started a comeback. West hit an enziguri and made the hot tag out to East. East looked good at first, taking on both members of the Squad but then fell to the numbers. But, West came into help his partner and soon Coast to Coast were on top. They hit stereo dives to the outside but it wasn’t long before the challengers took control again. Thomas just launched East into the crowd and West ate a yazuka kick against the barricade. Thomas then used his own partner as a wrecking ball, throwing him at his opponents. Back in the ring the challengers set up for the Pop Up Doomsday Device but it was broken up and the champions set up the Red Eye Flight but Kagemann broke up the pincount and soon the champions fell to the Pop-Up Doomsday Device which they’ve began calling ‘the Ball and Chain’. We have new champions!

All looks good as always Ace. Kint is really making waves and a feud with Staxx should give him some character. I wouldn't put him over Staxx thou, just makes him look weak. Liking Direstones character recently. Would Beast really get sympathy. Like Mathews, don't quite get this T business thou. Should be a good feud with Yusif, hopefully. Good to see the Agents go over, as they are the established stable. Good to see Hazard being built up. When he loses I hope he doesn't fall down the card. Three way between the tag match men is standard. Can see St Arnaud winning the next match. Bane getting a great reaction is great. I would have preferred a dusty finish, that way it still looks like Bane could beat Hunter. All good build to the PPV. Good luck and keep this up.

Good that Taker went over, good to see something different. Check out other diaries to see how their writ and set out. Don't steal someones layout thou. Good luck.

Clash of the Duos Night 2 2014 Live from the Nationwide Arena, Ohio only on SNW Player
1) CoD: Knife Fight (Zakk Static and Cain Jackal) vs. Joseph Brothers (Jack Joseph and Matt Joseph): What a match to kick off, two great teams and lots of good action. Knife Fight have improved so much since first coming together and it showed here as they had better chemistry than a team of brothers. However, don’t think the Joseph’s were bad, not at all. They looked a good team and had plenty of near falls. While the highflying brothers flew around Jackal proved the difference with his pitbull like style. The Joseph went for the Death Valley Driver/Pele but Jackal interrupted hitting a spear on Matt then caught Jack off the top with another spear to seal the win.
Big win for Knife Fight and for the second year running they reach the final four. It’s interesting to note that the fans took to cheering Knife Fight when they won, they were boo’ing them all match.
2) Jet Jaguar vs. Dave Demento vs. El Hijo de Angel Custodio: This was a good way of carrying on the frantic pace of the opener by shoving three bright young stars in a three way. Lots of good action in this one, Jag and El Hijo were a highlight with their fast paced air battle. Demento broke this up with shoot strikes and playing heel to play up to the crowd. Jag got the win following a TTM on El Hijo.
3) Nick Jacobs vs. Daniel Sinn: Although these two couldn’t compete with the pace of the opening two matches, as experienced roster members, they slowed the pace but still controlled the fans. The match was a good technical encounter and these two could have a really good series of matches if needed. The end came as Nick went for the Jacobs Drop but Sinn pushed Nick into an exposed turnbuckle for a school boy win.
4) Jordan Devine vs. Cody Rejero: ‘The Pepsi King’ was very over with the crowd, he’s become SNW’s comedy face, like Colt Cabana. That may damage any future push but he certainly gets a great crowd reaction. The match itself had Devine in control and Cody playing the plucky underdog. They build up Cody slowly and the fans exploded when he hit the Pepsi Cutter outta nowhere. But Jord rolled to the outside. Back in the ring the Devinity put Cody down for the count.
5) CoD: Mockingbird (Elliot Reid and Dean Caufield) vs. Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann): The former Duos Champions the Fatality Squad squashed the Parkland’s in the first round and were up against a team with a bit more experience here but in the end it didn’t matter. Thomas and Kagemann destroyed the young highflyers. The squash lasted under 5 minutes and the fans are now really seeing them as a real threat since they are dominating like they did when they first became the Squad. Reid and Caulfield had one comeback but it was cut off quickly and led to the finish. Like in the first match, Caufield ate the Fall/Double Stomp, then Reid fell to the new tag finisher, the Pop-Up Doomsday for the win.
Just like last night the Fatality Squad didn’t bother celebrated they just walked to the back. The fans went wild for the two tag finishers, it’s no surprise, they are both amazing finishers to see.
6) FUSE: Riley Shamrock vs. Jacob Ryler: The ‘Young Gun’ had a tough challenge as he faced former FUSE Champion with his own title on the line. This is where Ryler excels, making people look good. This doesn’t mean that Ryler didn’t also look good. Ryler is seen as a bit of a vet despite only wrestling for just over six years. The match itself was pretty even. The fans got behind Riley and really popped when Riley busted Ryler open with the Mui Tai Knees. Riley soon out down the Scotsman after an Irish Welcoming II which is a Blue Thunder Driver.
After the match Riley celebrated and shook the hands of Ryler. Ryler said something to Riley about the blood but they both laughed about it. Riley stayed out until Nick Jacobs showed up on the entrance. He said if Riley really wanted to be the best then he’d have to face the first. Jacobs was the first ever FUSE Champion.
7) Mike Bockwinkel, Cameron Stone and Baby J Jamerson vs. Drew, Duke and Axel Parkland: This was a fun match and told a good story. Baby J was trying to impress Bock and Stone and he could do that against Duke and Axel but at times took on a little too much. Bock and Stone were the difference but the teenage Parkland’s are looking better and better. It looked like a shock was on the cards as the Parkland brothers took dives onto the World Champ and Stone but Baby J popped up to roll-up Drew after a low blow.
Intermission. Baby J celebrated like he’d just won the Super Bowl and Bock and Stone congratulated him, they left while the Parkland’s stayed out to talk and take photos with the crowd.
8) CoD: AirDevils (Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell) vs. Team Bennett (Ace Bennett and Matt Spade): This was a great match to welcome the fans back from the break, it was a rematch from Be the Best when the Devils had the belts. They played the match very much the same with some comic miscommunication from Team Bennett, the bearhug/Busaiku Knee combo nearly getting the win and the sick Sycaruse Drop/Tower of Doom Counter. Alicia tried to get involved (but Clive sat at ringside reading a motoring magazine) it failed and Spade bumped into her leading to him taking the Sky High for the Devils to advance.
9) Chris Hammers vs. Kevin Hart vs. Mike Hogan vs. Jack Powers: This was a number one contenders match for the World title. The winner will challenge Bock for the title, tomorrow night. With a big title match on the line all four former World Champions went all out for the win. It was a good bout with the rivalry between Hogan and Hart taking centre stage. Hammers played the lone heel well and absolutely blasted the others with Lariats all match. There was also attempted interference from his RevX teammates but they either backfired or were sent to the back before they could affect anything. Of course, in SNW tradition, the ending was a finisher flurry. Hammers hit the final lariat on Powers, a superkick on Hammers from Hart, then Hogan hit a Futurism. It looked to be the finish but then Powers locked in a Cross armbreaker into the Russian Armbar to seal the win.
10) CoD: DUOS: Coast to Coast (Donnie East and Chris West) [TCW] vs. Revolution X2 (Safu and LyNN): The main event of the night put the Duos titles on the line as TCW’s team took on RevX’s last hope of winning the tournament. The fans were behind East and West for the match but as the bout came to an end, the fans began cheering for the SNW team, not because they were playing faces but because they are the SNW team. Both teams are top quality teams so we had plenty of great action from both sides. Safu and LyNN wore down East but then the champions came back into it. They hit suicide dives on opposite sides of the ring. But it looked like we had new champions after the Samoan Drop/Neckbreaker combo only for it to be broken up by East. East fought solo for a while, then Rev X grew back into it but the champions showed their true championship quality by fighting back and hitting a Red Eye Flight to retain.

I'm quite a fan of this. I disagree with what HEELRyan said, the layout does help people catch up on what's happened because you do many recaps and such. It's a great idea and I love all the match graphics and such to hype up matches. I gotta say TNA 50 looks awesome. AJ/Ki was built up a lot at the last show but I guess that just puts over how big of a match it is. Personally I'd like to see AJ go over. Not a massive fan of the ECW gang but maybe TNA50 will be the end to it, I guess you gotta do it but I'd like TNA to go over. Sting coming in is very big news, I wonder what he'll do after that. A long feud with Daniels would be fun. Of course, the steel cage tag match will be huge too. Looking forward to TNA 50. Keep this up.

Clash of the Duos Night 1 2014 Live from the Nationwide Arena, Ohio only on SNW Player
The show opened as it usually does at a tournament with all the competitors coming out for a group photo. It should be noted that this is the first ever time the Clash of the Duos is being presented on iPPV. Notes on the entrances: Coast to Coast were cheered, Bock and Stone got the biggest heat, the AirDevils got the loudest cheers. Then lastly, the Fatality Squad music hit of a mash-up of ‘Bulls on Parade’ and ‘Firestarter’.
1) CoD: DUOS: Coast to Coast (Donnie East and Chris West) [TCW] vs. Mike Bockwinkel and Cameron Stone: Strange booking to put the title match on first but it certainly kept the crowd red hot. Coast to Coast worked well to start but Bock and Cam came back into the match via heel tactics. But C2C were just too good of a team and came back and hit the Red Eye Flight.
2) CoD: Mockingbird (Elliot Reid and Dean Caufield) vs. Jacob Ryler and El Hijo de Angel Custodio: Next up was a highflying encounter. This was only a short match but it packed plenty into under ten minutes. In the end the Mexican fell to two dives, one backsplash from Caufield and a impressive jumping starjump from Reid.
3) CoD: Kevin Hart and Mike Hogan vs. Joseph Brothers (Jack Joseph and Matt Joseph): This match told the story of two partnerships, the great partnership of the brothers Jack and Matt compared with the bad teaming of Hart and Hogan. The former World Champions just couldn’t get on, they had one brief success as a team but then Hart walked out on Hogan leading to Hogan being hit with the Pele kick while being held in the Death Valley Driver.
4) CoD: Parkland Brothers (Duke and Axel Parkland) vs. Fatality Squad (Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann): One word to describe this: utter squash. The teenage Parkland’s didn’t stand a chance. The match was over after 2 minutes because of the destructive force of Thomas and Kagemann. They hit their sick Fall/Double Stomp combo but it was broken up by Axel. The younger Parkland then fell to a new even sicker finisher, Thomas hit a Pop-up powerbomb while Kagemann hit the diving clothesline, a bit like a Pop-up Doomsday Device.
Backstage we see SNW World Champion, Mike Bockwinkel and Cameron Stone enter dejected into their locker room. They see that Baby J Jamerson is waiting for them. Stone orders Jamerson out but Bock lets him talk. Jamerson says that they’re a great team but they could be better, saying they need a little youth injection. Stone and Bock think about it and they say he could be useful. They then all shake hands. Jamerson has finally got into a group!
5) CoD: Revolution X2 (Safu and LyNN) vs. Riley Shamrock and Jack Powers: This match pitted rivals against each other. I don’t think FUSE Champ Riley is ever going to stop feuding with RevX. This was a good match to lead into the break as all four men meshed well. There were plenty of near falls and good action. Highlights included an Irish Welcoming on LyNN, a Samoan Drop on Powers onto Riley below and a german suplex from Powers on LyNN off the apron onto Riley and Safu below. The experience of RevX proved the difference as a Samoan Drop/Neckbreaker earned the RevX team the win.
Intermission. Drew Parkland and Cody Rejero who are competing under the name ‘Beer and Pepsi’ came out to celebrate with the crowd. At the end of the break Team Bennett of Ace, Spade, Alicia and Clive the Janitor stood at the entrance. They mocked the happy fun team with Ace promoting an energy drink which SNW sponsors. Spade said they would take the 'joke team' out of the tournament but Cody argued that Team Bennett were the joke team.
6) CoD: Knife Fight (Zakk Static and Cain Jackal) vs. Nick Jacobs and Jet Jaguar: Strange match to welcome the fans back from the break but the fans enjoyed the action, even if it was short. Jag and Jacobs did decently well together but Knife Fight were the better team and advanced following their Brainbuster into a Spear.
7) CoD: Team Bennett (Ace Bennett and Matt Spade) vs. Beer and Pepsi (Drew Parkland and Cody Rejero): Fans were very vocal in this match but it is to be expected with two of SNW’s most loved taking on two of SNW’s heels. Alicia and Clive were at ringside and Ace’s sister tried to get involved but was cut off by Rose running down for a catfight. Back in the ring there was some good action which was made even better by a red hot crowd. There was even some comedy, Clive threw over a can of Pepsi and a can of beer then they poured them on the floor, this made the faces angry but not before they licked the canvas. All finishers were hit, the KFC, the Pepsi Cutter and the Syracuse Drop but none of them spelt the end. However, Spade locked in the bear hug and Ace followed that with the Busiaki Knee which gave Team Bennett the win.
8) CoD: AirDevils (Tom Gerard and Travis Cantrell) vs. Revolution X1 (Chris Hammers and Jordan Devine): The main event pitted two of SNW’s top stables against each other. Both teams have good Clash of the Duos records but one of them will be out in the first round tonight. Despite not being a regular team Hammers and Devine work very well together. And in this 20 minute plus match these two threw everything at each other. The Devils were the favourites going into this match but RevX were the bigger, powerful men and controlled much of the match. The AirDevils made their comeback after RevX wore down Cantrell. And with the red hot crowd on their side the AirDevils flew back into the match. Quite literally with double dives, Gerard with a tope con hilo and Cantrell with a springboard senton. Finisher galore in the final stages, with Hammers hitting the Last Minuite Orders, Devine with the Devinity, Cantrell with the SSP and the Devils hitting the Bombs Away together. But the Sky High finished off the match as the Devils put away RevX in an excellent match. With this win, Gerard becomes the first man to reach ten Clash of the Duos wins.
