Ask Lenny from lee's toy review about 2-ups
He knows a guy who had a number of 2-ups.
Lenny even said they guy had a Dusty Rhodes 2-up, and while taking pictures of it in the driveway, it fell and broke into pieces.
That collector was also know to collect rare earth minerals and was willing to trade hasbro stuff for rare minerals. But don't get your hopes up, we're taking about $1,000+ rocks here. Depending on size and mineral type, very expensive stuff.
And Lenny can tell you a great story about the Kamala with moon. Lenny told me had about a dozen kamalas with moon in his collection at one point, NO JOKE. And at one point he had HUNDREDS of undertaker and Bret mailaways, he gave them away at Halloween to the trick or treaters, he couldn't GIVE them away for years!

I heard, that massive lot was bought by a collector NOT a dealer LOL all perry's stuff up for sale is from his "personal collection." you didnt know that? thats a very slanderous accusation. The "personal collection" is a 7 day holding period from leaky, musty basement to the post office.

It's funny. I wanted to see who had more autographed items on ebay, Lincoln, Washington or Andre. There are about 50 items each from Lincoln and Washington. There are two Andre autographs, on postcards. Now of course the Lincoln and Washington stuff is price anywhere from 25-50k, but the fact that there's only two Andres on ebay shows u how rare his sig is. And the Andre autos aren't even Psa/DNA certified. So you need to buy them with here say/ back story alone.

Mos def need to send that to PSA/DNA if the boardies give you a thumbs up after we can see a pic.

I always like to think for every 1 or 2 people that come to this board and share their collections, there's another 10 who don't know about this board, don't care about this board, and will never come to this board.
Sad, but probably true.

The person who dropped it while taking pictures in the driveway way someone lee knew of.
That was a dusty two up.
The owner of that piece was also a rock collector.
There's a famous sterling mine here in NJ. Fluorescent minerals. The owner was wiling to trade his hasbro 2-ups for certain types of fluorescent minerals. These minerals are as rare as the hasbros though. Some fetch $1000s of dollars for fist sized pieces. I actually visited the mine couple of months ago. I should have asked around while i was there.

At 50-75 a pop don't think of it like a remake, think of it like a sequel with a bigger budget. Terminator vs terminator 2

i can maybe see him getting 20k from a serious collector.
you can't just buy stuff and get double your money from an afa grading.
you know what i am thinking though....
this story gets national attention, posted all over the media, wwe exec's see what is going on, begin to see where the REAL demand for figures are, license someone to make hasbro sized figures with classic and current wrestlers...we all are in HASBRO HEAVEN again!!!!
NOT out of the realm of possibility at all!!
WWE is NOT stupid. They know their demographics, they want money. I haven't watched 15 minutes of wrestling for 10+ years. Yet, here i am, talking on a message board about my heyday in wwe hasbro action figures. And there i am in TRU/walmart, occasionally go down the toy aisle to look at wrestling figures. I barely know a handful of the current roster.
Now if they were smart about it, they would do it from a collectors market standpoint. Make hasbro sized re-pros but charge collector market prices. Im talking limited run stuff/super high detail/quality, $50-75 each figure. Tell me you would pre-order the orange card series limtied to 2500 pieces???
There's not a soul on this board that wouldn't drop $350 for the orange card series limited to 2500 pieces.

sorry, i'm really really shocked. i was most certain it would work.
two things take the figure to the hardware store, use a bit of the graffiti remover in store to test it on the hat. even tell the associate you want to test this out because you want to see if its strong enough for a customization project.
or
just paint over it with some model paint with the same color/tint.

use some stuff call "goof off" or "graffiti remover."
goof off comes in a little metal tin, looks like lighter fluid.
any restaurant or store manager/owner will tell you that that stuff is the best around. takes off paint from stalls, windows. sharpies are no match at all.
now don't get goof off confused with "goo gone"
goo gone comes in a plastic pump bottle and is orange scented, that stuff is for less serious jobs, its not heavy duty. I used "goo gone" to remove price sticker residue as it left no staining. goof off is like paint thinner, if i used that on the price sticker residue, i would have had a huge oil stain that would have seeped to the back of the card.
I guarantee it will work. and it wont ruin the paint since the hat doesn't have coat of paint on it.

its not the worst deal i've ever seen. A full loose set of greens can run 300-400 ebay.
I've bought 3 full loose sets in the past for $250, 300, 300.
I've seen full loose sets sell on ebay for 600-900. We're talking primo mint c-10 every figure with accessories. I have a full set c-10 mint ass accessories that i wouldn't ask anything less than $800 for, but i'll probably never sell.
in this set, i do see a lot of wear on some of the figures. earthquake, bossman are exceptionally bad. and andre looks worn. Andre might be THE hardest figure to find mint in the hasbro line to find mint due to the black paint. dusty too. worn hasbros are the worst. were talking garage sale $1 bin stuff.

If they exist: A Dusty 2-Up or a Doink 2-Up If not, a full set of WWF Hasbro Funskools hmm....interesting pick. I'll let u in on some info. A dusty 2-up does/did exist!!! I was told by a source of supreme knowledge *cough* ebay *cough*. Unfortunately is was dropped being moved, in a driveway by a huge hasbro collector of a few 2-ups and other rare items! It got shattered, but i don't know into how many pieces! And do you know the craziest thing...that individual, the collector, if he is still around, likes Acanthite more than his hasbros!!! Acanthite is a SUPER RARE sulfide mineral. He was/is willing to trade those precious hasbros for ROCKS. STINKING DIRTY ROCKS. Damn rare and valuable museum quality rocks, BUT STILL ROCKS! Search ebay for Acanthite, completed items. a piece about the size of half a finger sold for 5,000. So start yur DIGGING.

Alegedly 24 were made. There are only 3 MOC samples in circulation that are legitimate. Cdp has one, which came from Dennis (Hasbromaster) who bought it from Hasbromaniac. Lenny from lees toy review has 2. He actually put 1 of his on ebay for sale about a year ago. That Kamala moon had the green standards tag on the back! If u want to learn more about Kamala moon, email Lenny on his eBay store. He might be willing to share info. I personally have more information about the Kamala but was told not to make it public on these boards.
