It's not unheard of at all. I've seen quite a few people get the actual figures signed. The issue is getting an actual figure signed by someone who doesn't do a lot of signings, or someone who has a quick and sloppy signature like Zack Ryder. If you look at the signed figures in the threads in my signature, I think you will change your mind about not wanting to get the box a figure comes in signed. I think that's the only way a figure should be signed.

I have 4 Walmarts in my city. Three of them have no Elites at all, just a few basics, and the 4th has two cases of Elite 70...

People who actually think AEW is going to affect WWE's business is just forcing themselves to believe something they personally want to see happen for whatever reason. Why supposed wrestling fans encourage the closing of a wrestling company is beyond me. Besides, we've all seen countless companies try to do the same. If AEW followers really want them to succeed, try just talking about them without constantly bringing up another company.

Very nice collection ! Only collect the Retro line figures myself. Obviously won't be able to have the Warrior or 2 Machos signed but have 27 so far. You should make a thread with pics of them if you haven't already.

You're right about the DM figures. I try to be very careful to not damage the box trying to force it out. But I'm surprised to see you say the DM cases fit the NXT TakeOver Elites. I could have sworn I tried it and didn't fit. I'll have to try it again because I have a good bunch of those figures I need cases for. Im doing a closer look and they may puff out the sides a little. My dash Wilder in one case has the sides of the case puff out but my Scott Dawson doesn't have that issue. It might be different ones? Austin aries is like Wilder with the puff out. But Bobby roode is like Dawson. So I'm not sure now. Only thing I know for certain is I bought the cases individually at different times when they came back in stock at different times. Maybe that made the difference? No 2 defender cases are created equally, so it is very likely an issue with a slight difference in the production of the cases you're using. Can you post a pic of how you're saying some of the figures puff out?

That almost looks like the case was made for those figures rather than the defining moments. Many defining moments I've tried in these are a really snug fit or the case keeps popping open because the bottom portion doesnt close Admittedly, it's a little snug, but not that snug. It's a better fit than the DM fig in my opinion. I can easily remove the NXT Elite figure from thatcase. But it takes a lot of jostling to get the DM figures out. You're right about the DM figures. I really don't understand what's up with the people running the network. For a good while, they seemed very excited to upload lots of the DVD documentaries, then switched over to completing RAW and SmackDown and are still missing quite a few documentaries. Then they got into creating original content like Superstar Ink, Culture Shock, Renee's show, Countdown, etc. Most recently they really got into making collections every month. My point is, they seem to be really into something for a good while, then give up on it. I don't get why they stopped making shows like Countdown and The List. I understand it's not so easy to create brand new content, but then they could just keep making more collections, or putting out more classic content. Aside from the live wrestling shows and NXT, the only other new content they've giving us is Ride Along. Of all the original content they could continue making, they're making more of that. And I'm not a fan of it at all. It just seems super fake and not very entertaining. We've seen the women have real Ride Alongs on Total Divas, so the fabricated show just doesn't work.

It’s embarrassing how so many people on a wrestling figure message board know very little about the biggest thing happening currently in wrestling. 1. Billy Gunn is a full time producer for AEW 2. Ddp and Bret Hart made one off appearances at the ppv because they were in town and nothing more. 3. Neville and Dillinger are not signed to deals. Dillinger might sign shortly but Neville is likely not going to. 4. Tommy Dreamer is currently competing in Impact but isn’t signed exclusively anywhere as he runs his owns promotion. Maybe because there are actually real wrestling fans who don’t read dirt sheets and just watch the shows. And as for the “biggest” thing happening in wrestling, that’s subjective.

Supposedly he’s going to be in the next video game, so I’d say the possibility is better now than ever before.

Is there anyone who has purchased the Ultimate Edition figures, kept them MOC, and have Defender Cases, been able to determine if any will fit them? I’m thinking they could at least fit inside a DM case, even if it’s smaller.

I could see the suited gear being released with a cloth shirt and pants, remove them, and you get the WWE's version of Tazz's ring gear.

A Walmart I went to in Houston a few months ago brought out the Elite series the Eric Young figure he was in very early for that location, but I didn't see it anywhere else for another little while. I don't know that I would start hitting up every Walmart at this time until people on here start posting they found it.

Was there for 2 minutes and left when they said there were only 50 figures and they were already gone That's crazy. I don't know how many figures Mattel brought for the Eric Young signing I went to at a Walmart in Houston a few months ago, but it was quite a bit, definitely more than 50 and there were about 200 people there when I left with my signed figure. But not everyone bought the figure. A lot of people just got a photo and a signed 8x10 piece of paper they had there for him to sign.
