These must be on one of the back end caps where no one can see them. The rest of the aisles look empty. These were front and center as you walked into the toy section. They are fully stocked in the actual WWE section too, along with tons of elite Ziggler and Barrett figs.

Great piece, I like the scan on Hogan and the inclusion of chest hair, also the fact that Warrior is battle damaged. I remember getting this at Big Lots. Lucky find.

Off the top of my head, Ron Bass had it as well. How could I forget about him, I purchased 2 figs for my collection, and each cost me a mint.

Also announcer Jesse Ventura had a full boot, as well as Cactus Jack.

Jerry Lawler, & Barry Windham had full boot molds, warrior had a boot mold for the top portion. Other figures featured the lower boot portion such as Suited JBL and TTL Jim Ross.

Awesome pickups.
These are amazing likenesses. I just saw the complete set for the 1st time a week ago. All them are stellar with the exception of Dory IMO.

A lot of those new Elites will be hard to find in my area, as the Sheamus log jam from the most recent series has begun.

While at Wal-Mart hoping to find the Lesnar/Heyman battle pack I found all these 2 packs, This is just an end cap, there were several more pegs of each set in the regular wwe section.

I've always thought of hospice as a place people go until they pass away. Hopefully that's not the case with her and she does get better. Sadly hospice is the final stage of care.

Idk why mattel wont sign big guys like hogan/flair easy sellers. But they sign Bruno a name many kids don't know Because he was a cheaper option.

These are 2 I love to do with my backyard fed, and they're copyrighted (Yeah WWE, you can't steal them.. You can buy though) anyway 1: Hardcore Ladder match. Ladder match concept with no DQ and there is barb wire wrapped along the rungs. 2: 4 corner surprise match. Basically in each corner you have a box at a height where a wrestler on the top rope can't see into it, and 3 are filled with glass, barbwire, and tacs, while the other holds whatever is on the line. When you pin an opponent you have 30 seconds to pick a box to open and stick your hand into, so if your opponent gets up before you pick you box then you may loose a turn. Refs on all 4 corners, and the boxes are locked I think you're safe as far as WWE attempting to steal your concepts.

There have always been storylines in wrestling, and it was no different than in Bruno's days where the 3 wise men sent their charges after him in their relentless pursuit of the WWWF Championship, they were hellbent on destroying him, and all champions that followed him, and the story would drop down the card as top acts like Andre, Strongbow, Putski & Garea would also clash with the top villains brought in by the likes of The Grand Wizard, Captain Lou, and Fred Blassie. You've listed guys he wrestled and guys who managed them. How about you tell us the actual storylines now? And "match finishes in count out, so they have a rematch" is not a storyline. -Battle of the giants between Andre and challengers such as Kowalski and Ladd. - Teacher vs Student battles between Bruno and the likes of Spiros and Larry Z. - Injury angles such as Backlund vs Sheik, and Bruno vs the likes of Khan and Hansen. - And the endless battle of good vs evil resulting sold out hat tricks at the garden setup by bloody beard owns of either the champ or his buddies.

I'd feature a match that does not rely on props and gimmicks but rather storytelling and ring psychology from both competitors.

I got some bad news for ya. You could have Wade beat every top face on the roster and it would still not change the fact that he is completely lacking charisma.

There are very few storylines anymore. There's a reason behind it, it isn't just laziness (although it damn sure comes across like it is). Basically, WWE are chasing fat new TV deals like sports are getting... Sports are relatively DVR-proof compared to other genres of TV, which means no skipping commercials and thus commands high fees for TV rights in this era. WWE is trying to convince the networks that they deserve sports money and so just having guys wrestle pointless matches all the time is WWE's bid at looking sporty. Furthermore, they've basically given up on PPV now and are focusing on the network... So they don't want to spend TV time building stories for PPV when that time could be spent showing how sporty they are with pointless matches. WrestleMania season will be the exception, of course. And this final point is speculation on my part, but I think it's Triple H's influence too. He was reported as promising Bruno Sammartino that wrestling was getting more old-school. Pointless rematches with little to no creative build is as old-school as it gets. It sucks, anyhow, and they're wasting money even employing writers at the moment when they're not using them. Someone's making a six-figure salary for writing "Usos vs Shield" on a board twice a week. You are so far off base with your assertion that old school wrestling did not revolve around storyline's that it both boggles my mind, and makes me sad at the same time. If you don't know your history, please refrain from making silly statements.

Great collection, I especially like your procession of Kings, and those replica belts are spectacular. Can you post closeups of your Hogan 1986 figure and belt?

My Walmart is loaded with battle packs of The Shield and the Funkadactles, I'll snap a pic next time I go. It's safe to say we won't be getting the Lesnar / Heyman set.
