Don't post much on here, anymore, but I logged on to see what everyone was saying about Sting.
Personally, I feel that Sting gave everything he had in this match. As someone who's been a fan of Sting and has looked up to Steve Borden the person since my childhood, I loved seeing him mix it up with Rollins, another one of my favorites. Sting looked great up until the table bump. That's when I started to worry. Then, he jumped off the rope to the outside. I know he did it at Mania, but this one looked like a much rougher landing. Finally, the buckle bomb was just one big bump too many.
I don't understand people saying that Sting looked old, or bad, though. He looked like he belonged right there with Rollins until just a bad bump that could have done the same to anyone. Any type of maneuver that could cause a person's head/neck to whip back like the buckle bomb could hurt anyone. It wasn't because he was old. After seeing all that, though, to see him get back up and finish the match was amazing. It's been a long time since I marked like I did when he put the Scorpion Death Lock on Seth.
He probably shouldn't have won. I would have liked it, but it was a career win for Seth. Regardless of the outcome, I couldn't be more proud to be a Sting fan after seeing his performance last night. He gave everything he had, and if that was the last match, I'll take it. I just hope that he heals up quickly from his injury, and that it isn't as serious as it looked.

Haven't posted on here forever, but I thought I'd check to see what the general response to this match was. I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking that it was the wrong move to put HHH over.
I just don't understand what Triple H, or the WWE, gains by bringing in Sting and having him lose his first match. Not to mention the match was just a mess. I really was enjoying it until the whole WWE vs. WCW thing started. Sure, it was cool to see DX vs. the NWO, but it just made no sense and wasn't needed in the match. This should've never been about WCW vs. WWE; Sting even said it wasn't about that. Instead, Vince had to stroke his ego yet again and make it the one thing it should have never been. I don't care what J.R. says: the wrong man won Sunday night.
As for last night, it was very disappointing to see Sting bumped to the Network in a segment that really accomplished nothing. Part of me hopes that Sting will have another match, and another part of me is disappointed he finally caved to the WWE only to be used terribly.
We'll see what happens in the coming months, but color me disappointed for the time being.

I jinxed us. My buddy and I were literally talking about the Anon. Raw GM last night after Survivor Series.
I now hate myself.

Sure, a Wyatt/Dean feud should be great.
BUT, start it tomorrow night. Don't ruin a great freaking match and a great feud with that ending. Let Ambrose win tonight, and come out tomorrow night on Raw with Wyatt attacking him and kicking their feud off. It just makes no sense to ruin that match. Now, the Ambrose/Rollins feud, for at least the time being, has no conclusive ending. That's a shame.

Anything less than Ambrose winning clean over both Cena and Rollins is a travesty.

Not getting my hopes up. But if Steen, Devitt, Zayn, Itami and Neville all showed up and wrecked both Cena and Lesnar, and forcibly removed Cole, Lawler and JBL from the commentary booth: I wouldn't be upset.

Maybe you should do some research and check them out. YouTube is your friend. I don't want to see them in Indy matches. I wanna see them wrestling WWEs style of match. Very excited to see Hideo Itami wrestle tonight. Ah, understood. I'm excited to see him in action as well.

How about more than half of them actually debut first? Never seen any of steen, devitt, or Kenta work. And will not buy into this ridiculous IWC hype until I see them in action for the WWE. Maybe you should do some research and check them out. YouTube is your friend.

amazing. its hard to believe that i used to watch Steen & Zayn in front of 500 people at a college gym tearing the ing house down and now they are being sold as the biggest and brightest stars of the future in the WWE. so ing amazing and with the way NXT is run & handled (by HHH) the future really could be amazing. once we get away from the current way things are there is going to HAVE to be a change. Wrestling will be brought back to WRESTLINGThat's what I'm holding out for. The product has almost lost me lately...these five guys along with a select few on the main roster give me hope for a much brighter future.

In a way, yes. Wrestling needs to find a way to be 'hip' and 'relevant,' but not in the way that they've been trying. Twitter and all their social media crap isn't going to cut it. Create compelling stories that viewers in 2014 can relate to and be entertained by, and wrestling will be just fine. Switch to an in-ring style that appeals to today's fast-paced culture and you'll have some success.
But, as long as their worried about social media and all that, WWE specifically, is going to continue to drop in popularity and relevance.

I just don't know why they hyped him up as KENTA and then changed it. Weird.

I acknowledged in my post that we have caused problems, as well. Never said we we were the 'good guys.' And as far as Obama's strategies, or lack thereof, I agree: he's not handled much of anything well. However, innocent people are the good guys, man. No matter what religion they're from, or what nationality. ISIS has murdered many people in the region. Muslims, Christians, anyone who doesn't agree with their interpretation of Islam. That is something that the world, not just the United States, should be against. And yes, we should use force, if necessary, to stop the slaughter of innocents. As far as the threats of attacks in other parts of the world: yes they exist, and are dangerous. Anyone could walk in our southern border right now. That's a risk. It's not about the threat of attack against America, it's about the threat of attack against INNOCENT people, like you and I. Threats of attacking us, or others around the world simply because we do not identify with the radical Islamist way of thinking. It's a threat that we have to take seriously and take care of now. When we try to help we just end up killing more innocent people. There has been and will always be people wanting to kill others. That won't change. Islam is not the thing making them kill. They misinterpret and twist the religion so they can justify it, just like those who are anti-Islam misinterpret and twist it to blame people. Islam is not a threat. Bad people are a threat. However, we only seem to care when they are from that area but only if we aren't friends with them. Again, did not say Islam itself was the threat. I said that ISIS' radical interpretation of Islam is the threat. I'm not anti-Islam. I don't believe it, but that doesn't mean that I hate Muslims, or Islam itself. I am, however, against the radical interpretation of Islam displayed by ISIS and other radical terrorist groups. They (ISIS) want a global caliphate. They want to kill people, like you and I, who don't see the world the way they do. They're beheading children, for goodness sake. That's something we can't take lightly, Slappy. I respect your knowledge and opinion. But, we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

I'm not advocating nuking the whole middle east, but something must be done, here. They've beheaded two Americans, and are threatening (and have the means) to attack the U.S. and Europe. Obama has targeted and killed Americans on foreign soil. Obama has sent troops into countries. Obama has authorized the bombings of countless places that have killed so many people including innocent civilians. And we're the good guys in all this? How many different threats have there been over the years? The number is too high. And how many of them escalated to an attack here in the US? A couple. The chances of them attacking us here are so low. You have a better chance of being killed by lightning than by a terrorist. I acknowledged in my post that we have caused problems, as well. Never said we we were the 'good guys.' And as far as Obama's strategies, or lack thereof, I agree: he's not handled much of anything well. However, innocent people are the good guys, man. There is a time for understanding and such, and yes I know we haven't helped anything by sending troops over there for years. But, honestly, you cannot reason with radical Muslim extremists. They are entrenched in their 'jihad,' and nothing we can say will change that. In a situation like this where a radical group is slaughtering innocents day in and day out, we must intervene and put a stop to it. If we don't, it'll snowball out of control and we'll have another attack on U.S. soil before you know it.
Unfortunately, we won't do anything about it because our current administration is more concerned about golfing and fundraising then what's going on in the world.

Your Avatar is amazing. On topic, Punk's a crybaby. I'm a big fan of his wrestling career, but as a person he seems like a mega douche. He's a crybaby because he doesn't want photos of his private life being passed around the internet? It's not the fact that he didn't want the photo on the internet. I can understand that. But reacting the way that he did on the internet just made him look like a little girl.
