It's hilarious how I see people post waves hitting stores when I'm several waves behind. I never saw the Virgil wave hit shelves. I've never seen the MNW figures. I've never seen the set with the natural disasters. And now these.
I pre-ordered Hogan and Kwang. I'm hoping Ali and Lou don't become sought after like Paul Heyman.

I just got the MNW Hogan figure. We all know Hogan is the GOAT, but is 2024 the best year ever for Hogan figures? He's been in a few of the legends line ups so far, and a few multi figure packs. We even got a set of figures that was all Hogan! Does anyone know is this year has been the year to see the biggest amount of Hogan figures released?

I just saw the Dark Side of the Ring episode about Nick Cage. Everything about that guy and GVW seemed incredibly sad. It's sad to me that people would do such extreme mutilation to themselves. And then it's in a parking lot somewhere in front of 10 people? Who actually enjoys that?

It depends on what I'm driving. If I'm in my car I'm using one foot, the way you're supposed to drive an automatic transmission vehicle. If I'm driving a manual transmission, you have to use 2 feet. One for the brake/gas pedal. And the other foot for the clutch.
Auto zone loves guys who use two feet on an automatic transmission.

I saw Great Khali at ORD once. I saw a large man walking funny. His feet looked like he was walking on his ankles more than on the soles of his feet. And he was very large, larger than me. I'm not a small guy. So I was watching his feet and wondering if being a bigger guy had to do with it. I started to worry, maybe something to watch for as I get older. So I wanted to see how old he was, face wise. And I saw it was Khali. I didn't say anything, I didn't want to bother the man. But it was cool to see a pro wrestler up close.

My favorite figure is my Hogan in a tux. I forget what he was an exclusive for.
And one of the favorite items I own from the Jakks days is the Punjabi Prison ring. I didn't think much of it at the time. But seeing as how the match was rarely ever done, I love that it was made into a toy.

AEW did nothing to the Harts. TKO did nothing to the Harts. i dont see why Martha would refuse to talk to a new company about commemorating her husband in figure form. As a fan, I'd love to see it. We could get Owen in his many outfits. Because WWE is the same company ran by the same executives and every major WWE stockholder are now TKO stockholders. Nothing has changed other than the ownership. The biggest thing that changed is Vince is gone. The letters wwf did not put Owen in a compromising situation, Vince did. Maybe Martha held a grudge against Vince. The creative team of the 90s is gone from wwf. No McMahon is involved with wwe these days. I think Vinces departure may be the beginning of Martha coming around? I would think, if I were Martha, I want nothing to do with Vince after what he did to my family. Vince is gone now, and not just gone, but booted out and exposed. With Vince out, I dont see why Martha wouldn't put her husband back, in his well earned spot, as one of the stars on wwf. I can see if McMahons still profit from wwe via stock being a reason though.

Pretty much anyone you saw in 80s wwf was a huge name in pro wrestling. Wwf went around and poached the top guys from the territories. If you saw a guy in 1980s wwf, that guy was probably the champion in a smaller promotion. But those aren't big names in terms of marketing value in 2024. If anything, the fact that they've been entirely ignored by the WWE for the past 30+ years means they have little to no value in terms of WWE Legends deals.  I'm all for getting as many FTIL figures as we can. But don't expect anything beyond the usual churn of new names. It's a loaded question/statement. I don't know for certain who's right here. On one hand you have a point. Kids today don't know who Paul Roma is, kids don't know who Ultimo Dragon is. Kids today probably don't know who Ric Flair is. So you're right in that the name recognition isn't what it used to be. But I dont think Kids are the primary customer for figures. I think it's mostly grown adult men that buy figures. My 9 year old has no idea who HHH or HBK are, but those figures get made non stop. So I know it isn't children that the figures are marketed to. I know my 9 year old is more likely to ask me for 30 dollars worth of Vbucks or Robux or Shiny Rocks before he asks for a physical toy, like a figure. And as an adult buying figures, I know I'm more interested in names of yesteryear than I am in a figure of the newly signed divas.

I'm going to have to say McDonald's.
McDonald's is everywhere. McDonald's is consistent. No matter wherever I go, I know McDonald's will taste the same. McDonald's is usually clean. McDonald's usually has a bathroom available to customers. And McDonald's isn't as expensive as other places. And I love the app. I dont have to wait for an employee to try and direct me to use a filthy kiosk before taking my order. I just use the app, they fetch my order, and I end up getting points for putting a cashier out of work.
There's several restaurants I enjoy eating at more than McDonald's. But I pick McDonald's as the best because it's the most commonly found.

Give me a Barbarian and Meng, damnit. Barbarian & Haku would be good signings. Haku King Haku Faces Of Fear Meng POP Barbarian Faces Barbarian Singles run WWF Barbarian Lot of bang for buck. A Tonga John would be epic!

No way - Martha will NEVER make a deal with WWE/TKO. And rightfully so. AEW did nothing to the Harts. TKO did nothing to the Harts. i dont see why Martha would refuse to talk to a new company about commemorating her husband in figure form. As a fan, I'd love to see it. With dead wrestlers, it 100% is also up to their estates. Vince held a lot of grudges but a lot held grudges against him and the company. As I read this, Owen Hart immediately came to mind. His wife allowed AEW to make a figure, to please fans. So if Vince, and his family, are out of the picture, would Mrs Hart allow TKO to make an wwe Owen? I wish.

This is great news but there isn’t much left as far as big names. Dino bravo would br cool Hercules etc but neither are super big names Pretty much anyone you saw in 80s wwf was a huge name in pro wrestling. Wwf went around and poached the top guys from the territories. If you saw a guy in 1980s wwf, that guy was probably the champion in a smaller promotion.

This maybe the wrong place to post, I apologize if so.
Now that the McMahons are out of wwe, what do you think are the chances we'll see new figures? The McMahons held grudges due to lawsuits, and other reasons. So with McMahon being gone, I doubt TKO would hold those grudges. Why exclude popular characters, such as Demolition, from a toy line now?
I know I really don't want the 100th HBK or HHH figure. It would be nice to get wrestlers we've never had. Hercules, Dino Bravo, Gangrel, Mil Mascaras, anyone other than the usuals.
