That Terry Gordy is such a solid figure, but it's hard to not notice how skinny/jacked he is. He was a big boy.

Has anyone tried putting the Bell to Bell Big Poppa Pump singlet on an elite? Curious to see how it would fit if possible. I don't have it, but just by the looks it is going to be SUPER baggy on an Elite figure.

I understand the desire for a "serious"DDP, and truthfully I want one to be made for the people here who have wanted one for so long, but let's not make it sound like DDP smiling was only a 2002 WWE thing. Smiling and etc. was just as big a part of his WCW gimmick as being "serious." Part of why he got so over in 97/98 was because, to paraphrase one of his catchphrases, he was consistently "jacked up" by the fans. Again, not saying he wasn't serious too, nor am I saying they shouldn't make a serious head, but the smiling heads haven't been out of character for his WCW run. I agree 100%. When I envision "serious DDP" the first image that actually pops in my head is his WWF debut when he revealed himself as the stalker. Understandably, I see the desire for a more neutral expression, but I don't think these smiling scans exclusively scream "that's a good thing" DDP. 😁

Why was the crowd so quiet during Nakano's entrance? Seemed like they were distracted; was something else going on in the arena? Since he was expected to be the main event induction and surprisingly opened the show, I think a lot of people left right after Heyman's speech. They had just sat through an entire episode of SmackDown! and probably took it as a chance to hit the exits early since most have activities all throughout the weekend. Doing the Hall of Fame ceremony right after a live event like that is pretty rough. Six hours sitting for anything is a big ask even for your most dedicated fans so they probably thought getting Heyman on ASAP was the best option. You could immediately tell right afterwards how quiet the crowd was and even the wrestlers at ringside looked completely wiped. The lack of star power following Heyman really hurt the energy of the show. When an event runs close to 1AM though I guess it doesn't matter who headlines as the audience is just kind of over it at that point. Congrats to the inductees as they all are deserving, but if you are a more casual fan who went to bed after Heyman you didn't miss much. Very happy for my girl, Bull, though as she was actually one of the first female wrestlers I ever saw growing up in the New Gen era.

If true we’re just missing Matador Tito, Kona Crush, and Giant Gonzales right? Backlund, Bret and Tatanka don’t have their gears from that night released yet if you wanna be specific If we are including people from dark matches, then I think it is only fair to mention Luna Vachon since she made her WWF debut at that PPV and would make for a killer figure. And as much of a diehard that I am for both Bret and Tatanka, I'd much rather see a new Kona Crush or Giant Gonzalez instead.

Welp finished up with Heymans speech, great stuff. Anything else worth watching in this ceremony? Heyman was awesome. I thought Bull had a heartfelt speech you can tell she was very honored to be there. Other than that and no disrespect to the inductees, it was the worst HOF since they started airing these live 20 years ago.

Did I miss Heyman? Figured he'd be last, guess I gotta rewind He was the opener which was very surprising. Great speech though. The rest have been just fine just weird they didn't have him close the show.

This has honesly been a very weird HOF. Outside of Heyman the speeches have been just really bland. Knowing how vanilla Barry is, I dont see this getting much better. Heyman not headlining is just very odd considering outside of him it is a generally weak class in terms of star power. Not a knock on anyone being inducted it is just an observation that these events for the last 20 years have followed a pretty straightforward pattern of having a very iconic/recognizable headliner to close the show.

Rock's grandma is really headlining the HOF? Yes, Cody is gonna beat the crap out of Rock and yell at Rock's mom "MAMA ROCK, LOOK AT YOUR BOY" Could you imagine?

I'm just gonna say it. Bull and Madusa? Would. I would absolutely take the old German suplex/top rope leg drop combo if that's what you're implying. Her speech was sweet you could tell it meant a lot to her. Great seeing such a trailblazing talent literally get her flowers.

I just want nwo big Poppa pump. I’d love it to be ultimate. I don’t know why the hell we wouldn’t know about this coming unless it’s punishment for the wcw stage which I’m fine with because it’s dumb it didn’t get funded. I don’t care much about the steiners tag team but I’m very surprised we haven’t even heard of it coming. Very strange. My most wanted Steiner was singles Rick and we got it. I thought it was a pretty obscure want but magically it came first You hit the jackpot on that one for sure.

So I know the weekend isn't over.... but that being said, I'm not angry or annoyed, I'm actually just ing shocked that we aren't being blown away with Steiners Elites & Ultimates...like, we've seen how quick these deals can come and go, I mean FFS they made THREE Fred Ottman figures basically back to back to back Its just wild to me that they made the announcement in December 2022 that the Steiners were under a deal, and since that timeframe we've gotten an elite of Rick in his WCW singles run, and elite of Scott in his WWE RA era run, and a prototype of a crowdfunded Ultimate of WCW Scott that never got made. But in that same timeframe we've gotten 47 Hulk Hogan elites, as well as Elites of characters like The Executioner and Who? I could not agree more. Everything they're showing (even the Great Muta) is being overshadowed by the elephant in the room. Where is The Steiner Brothers?? Where is Ultimate Big Poppa Pump??? If there are still more new reveals to come over the weekend, they could very well be saving the best for last.

You're one of the few. The Steiner Brothers are Hall Of Famers, one of the top five tag teams of ALL TIME!!! That isn't an opinion, that's a fact my friend. The Headbangers are mid card champions and were pushed aside when the boom period started. and a fact for me is that i have more interest in the headbangers than i do the steiners. Both teams are excellent additions for people collecting figures from those eras. I may be more biased towards the Steiners, but The Headbangers make for great action figures with their unique look. Their BCAs got a lot of ring time back in the day.

I think for them to do Muta justice they needed every cent of the Ultimate Edition budget.
