I need a relevant Mandy Rose. With a headscan is actually sized appropriately to her body. Why they did a shorter/curlier haired version when her look (since Day 1) has almost always been long straight hair is weird af to me.

I don't think the line itself was a mistake, but there were probably at least a few errors in the execution. It unfortunately banked way too hard on Charlotte and Sasha, neither of whom would appeal to little girls like Alexa Bliss:
*Wave 1 should have been all the Total Diva ladies, as they are more likely to be "over" with the younger female viewers (Brie, Nikki, Naomi, Eva Marie, Lana, Natalya). *Alexa, Mandy, Becky and Bayley should have come out soon after - not Charlottes, Sashas & Asukas, who little girls could give two craps about. *The standard dolls should have been in wrestling gear, not the weird hybrid outfits that the early wave girls were in. *The 5-pack re-releases of the single-pack dolls should been themed as Total Divas packs with the dolls in dresses/evening looks. *Any dolls being repeated should have had different face-ups/hairstyles. Every single early repeat (such as the Bellas, Natalya, etc) has the same exact makeup down to the lipstick color. If they wanted people to buy multiples of the same character, they needed to look different.

Don’t like it? Don’t buy it. And you’re right it is a $10 toy not a hundred dollar bust. And don’t give me that crap about how hard you work and how you deserve this that and the other thing...also if all of you could stop Barking about this Quality control department you think is meant to serve your unrealistic expectations ...that would be awesome. If Mattel took all of the negativity of this forum and actually listened to all your ridiculous requests and applied them to the figures then the price point would go up and you would be pissed about that. Bill doesn’t even go on here anymore because of how negative and ridiculous some of you are. Also why are we not talking about how weird it is when guys are this obsessed with diva figures? Borders on creepy. LMAOOOOOOOOOOO. I'd like to see this dude order a burger that is crappily made with half a bun, a small patty and moldy cheese and see if he doesn't send it back to the manager with a complaint that he wants his $10 burger to be "quality". And we should talk about how weird it is that you love to play with little plastic figures of men in speedos.

Received my S92 pre-orders. Everything about Mandy should be great - nice outfit choice, great paint apps, nice hair sculpt...but the people who called it back when the pics dropped were right: HER HEAD IS HUGE. I've never seen anything like it in a Mattel figure. It's like she's got a jack-o-lantern sized head sitting on her shoulders.
I figured this might just be an Eva Marie NXT figure situation where the prototype looks a little odd, but the figure came out great. Uh, NOPE. You literally cannot stand this figure next to anyone in the line, male or female, without her head looking freaky af. It also just sorta hangs forward off of her neck in a really weird way because it's too big. Figure looks more like it's someone wearing a Mandy Rose mask.
How in the f*** did this get by Mattel's QC team?

Pre-ordered Mandy. Might be my first pre-order ever. But I love the Golden Goddess.

I’d have loved to have seen Eva too . I’m excited about the Naomi though. I haven’t picked up any of these yet but I’m tempted. Speaking of the WWE girls toys, I’d love to see legends in doll and toy form. Sherri, Alundra, maybe an actual Liz and Mae that the public can buy!!! HELLO MATTEL 😂 I collect a few things here & there (most not WWE) and I've had so many lines either get cancelled before producing my favorite characters or have had my favorite leave the show before making it to action figure form. So I am pretty damn excited (and surprised!) that they managed to push out the 12" Eva and the awesome awesome awesome NXT Eva. But yeah...a 6" Superstars Eva woulda been icing on an already delicious cake.

As mentioned above Becky, Naomi and Asuka have not hit. Alexa & Natalya were the last wave to surface a few months back (although I never saw them in person - only online).
I wish they'd stuck Eva Marie in Wave 1 (since they pushed a doll out). Would have made a cute figure.
Hope the line continues in some fashion and we get Mandy Rose, Stephanie, Lana, Carmella, Mickie & Nia.

Main Line: Mandy Rose Maria Kanellis
WWE Superstars (12"): Mandy Rose Maria Kanellis Mickie James
WWE Superstars (6"): Mandy Rose Carmella Lana Stephanie McMahon Mickie James

I think Mattel is invested in the sales, though. But I agree with all of you who questioned aisle placement. I appreciate that toy companies and questioning the gender divide, but there's different ways to do that. Rather than go Girls/Boys, just have action figure aisles, car aisles, doll aisles, building block aisles.
Like, if there's a desire to create less of a gender divide, then just put all the 12" dolls together in the doll aisle. Meaning 12" Star Wars, 12" WWE, 12" Marvel, 12" DC, 12" DC Superhero Girls, 12" Miraculous Ladybug, etc. Barbie, of course, needs her own aisle just by virtue of the amount of product she has. But putting the 12" dolls in with the 6" action figures didn't work and just made the WWE Superstars stick out oddly.

Yeah, this 5-pack looks EXACTLY like what should have been happening from the beginning. Colorful gear, and all very diverse looking.
I also give them credit for changing Sasha's haircolor (something that should have been happening on every Sasha doll) to make the variations more collectible for kids. Next step is to change the makeup (even subtly like just lipstick color). No little girl (or collector) wants the same face paint over & over.

Oddly I really liked the Lana. She might be my #2. I like pale, so I guess I was happy about the skintone.
Carmella def looks like Carmella.
Hoping the line continues and we get a Mandy Rose. She's kinda perfect for a doll.

I do think Mattel way oversaturated the market. They did the same thing with DC Superhero Girls. The fanbase is there, but they way overestimated production.

So new dolls but no new nxt hoc flashback or em hardyz. You seem a little fixated on the dolls for someone claiming not to be into the dolls?

I saw Basic Lana, Carmella, Asuka, and Nattie on amazon but no Deluxe Alexa. Did you get the Alexa one from Amazon? Also it's weird that Deluxe Naomi is never in stores, but I see Alicia's and they were considered in the same wave in addition to Bayley. And I think the Nikki/John and Liz/Macho were just display for Axxess tbh. I'm hoping for the next wave we would get: -Nia Jax -Lana in wrestling gear (did Lana even wore that outfit in her first doll?) -Carmella updated wrestling gear - the singlet -IIconics Are these dolls doing good in terms of sales? I see that there's alot of them in stores so i was curious if it's even doing good to warrant another wave. Despite that, I can see WWE making more dolls just to say they have WWE dolls though. Yeah, I think they sorta structured the initial wave oddly anyway. To make sure it moved, it should have had the kiddie friendly wrestlers like Bayley & Naomi in over Becky & Charlotte. I got Alexa from one of the online wrestling stores, not Amazon -so yeah, dunno that she's there yet.

Looks like...
Deluxe Alexa Deluxe Naomi Basic Lana Basic Asuka Basic Carmella Basic Natalya
...have hit. Haven't seen anything about Deluxe Charlotte or Deluxe Sasha 2 (red outfit/blue dress). Last I saw of the action figures was Alexa and Natalya hitting a few months ago with no sign of Naomi or Bayley.
I was a little worried the Lana doll wave wouldn't see the light of day with the TRU closure. Wonder if there is a future planned for the line. Also - anyone hear any news on the Nikki/John & Liz/Macho Man 2-packs?

Oh this makes me sad. I hadn't heard that it was potentially cancelled. I've been waiting for a Wendi Richter figure for pretty much my entire life.

LOL no. Mandy is QUEEN.
But aside from that, you can skip the rest (even though I dig on a personal level that Sonya is an out lesbian). Because I def would prefer more Classics.
