One of the other reasons they use to say was because he stopped doing the gorrilla press when he came back and pretty much always finished guys off with the splash after the shoulder tackle thing.

Again, doesn't help anybody, when Walmart continually gets product and doesn't push it to the floor for days. I gave in and bought the extra Shawn I needed on ebay the other day, paid $3 more after shipping than I would have at Walmart, but it's just not worth my time anymore to bother with going in there. Brickseek isn't even useful if they're not going to push the stuff to the floor when it comes in. Just going to stick with RSC preorders unless Target ever gets current on these.
And just as a side note, my Target's retstock from the other day turned out to be S3 lol. How many of those were produced, they just won't go away! At the decent price, picked up a Dean though for another Issac Yankem custom.

So, we all know there was only one Warrior now, but back in the 90's we all know the rumors.
My question is, I know a lot of people thought he was a fake when he came back in 92' and totally understand why.
But did anyone else as a kid, hear that he had died and been replaced even before this run? Like all they way back in 89' or 90'?
One of the kids at school said he drank some blue liquid and was poisoned by it. And he was replaced by the Texas Tornado. Until they were both on the same Survivor Series team in 1990 proving it wasn't the same guy playing both lol.
And did anyone else here at all fall for the Renegade being Warrior? I feel embarrassed to say it, but I wasn't exactly sure at first. Since other WWF guys had come in and they were forced to alter their names and gimmicks slightly because of WWF owning certain personas (eg: Big Bossman, Earthquake, Brutus Beefcake). So I thought it was possible it was him, plus TV resolution wasn't what it is now either.

It would be hard if I tried to go through WCW too, but I do have so many fond memories from the mid 90's there.
But WWF, not really in order: 1. SummerSlam 89' 2. SummerSlam 90 3. SummerSlam 91 4. SummerSlam 92 5. King of the Ring 93 6. Royal Rumble 90 7. Royal Rumble 91 8. Royal Rumble 92 9. Survivor Series 94 10. Survivor Sereis 90

Yeah Retros are on sale this week, I grabbed a Finn last night Sale is great. Picked up New Day yesterday. If only I could find a Macho Man!! Looks like my store got some more in tonight. They were sold out since at least Monday. They seem to be flying off shelves at all the stores around here. Hilarious, since they've actually been selling now that S4 and S5 have been coming in, yet they never bothered to put them on sale when S3 was clogging stores across the country for 6-12 months straight. I really do hope Target gets current on these and gets price down to $10. Really sick of Walmart's crap stocking abilities. Again shows a case came in last night (WM), but of course I walk in and they haven't been put out again. Even with Brickseek it's a crap shoot with them as to when they'll bother stocking. At least w/ Target it seems when stuff comes in it gets stocked right away.

Not sure why we can not get Retros every 2-3 months, almost similar to Elites and Basics. If there was not such a wide gap between each series release, pegs would not be clogged. This providing Target and Walmart keep carrying the line. Is that how Elites and Basics come out? I was wondering this, as only line I buy is Retros. Thought it would make sense for them to be evenly spaced throughout the year instead of 3 waves within 12 weeks and then nothing for 8 months.

The AWA? That was 5 minutes from dying.....I call BS on this one. I remember Jack and JP talking about this on TLF AWA Journey. I agree it was probably BS, if anything just Hogan trying to get a better deal out of Vince. No way he was going to a dying promotion in 91.

Intresting topic, really crazy how many attires he had.
Here's one, did he ever wear the entrance gear again from Survivor Series 93'? I always loved that one for some reason, but I don't recall if it appeared after that.

Yeah, I don't think those guys know what it's like to try and find this stuff for the GP. They DO have it differently, they do get figures sent to them, and if they really don't get one or find it, they have the money to pay ebay prices. And these exclusives are different than it was back in the day.
I guess I'm not familiar with much of how it was beyond the Jakks BCA days. But, for most of the older lines, there weren't really any exclusives to certain retailers. My main experience is Hasbro, and they released all the sets to all retailers, and their were tons of places to buy back then, not only the major toy stores like TRU, KB, but you had all the department stores, and even grocery stores and pharmacies like CVS.
And these guys travel the country on the regular and have time to stop in at stores every day. Most have jobs/school/family to take care of and can't just run from store to store all week looking for toys.
I do enjoy the MWFP, but it did irk me when they dissed all the people complaining about how hard it is to find figs.

Target online has leftover series 3 and 4 figures on sale at 7.79. Hope this means they are finally making way for series 7 or 8 ? Just a heads up it's also in store on all retros. Peg was empty this morning though, guessing this will clear out whatever leftovers are sitting around at these stores.

Same around here, my Walmart gets S7 and they sell in a few days, only been one box at a time though even though they have the 3 pegs.
My Target has one peg, finally cleared S3 out about 3 months ago, and have been getting in a box every few weeks. Most recent restock was S4 a few days ago, they sold one set plus the 2nd flair. Still have 1x of Owens, Balor and Sami.
Previous 2 or 3 boxes were S5 and they all sold within a week or so each time.

Sorta reminds me of the Jakks verions of LJN or maybe the WCW OSFTC ones. Sorta looks that Alex Wright. LJN was right before my time, so I don't have any LJNs, did have alot of the WCW ones, but still a pass for me. Hasbro/Retro only for me really.
And the pose just looks super odd, I don't know anything about these guys, but sounds like the pose makes sense, but they don't look much like an LJN style figure other than being big/rubber/fixed position.
That would be cool actually if some smaller company started doing Hasbro style figs of guys who aren't signed to WWE.

Damn, figure sold as a best offer. Probably vintagefigs1. Hope he/whoever got some kind of proof besides the dealer selling hard to get figures. Nowadays there are too many scammers out there. Who knows, has he said anything on the pod (I don't remember personally) about the other various mailaways? I just know they always talk about the main 3 from late 93'. But the others are just the regular figure but in a bag. I just don't see why anyone would pay extra for that. But, then again people pay crazy money for the Bret mailaway, so what do I know.

So after looking through the many photos I had saved on my PC, I can't seem to locate the catalog shot from the toy fair book that showed the Nastys and LOD. Could of swore that was a thing along with the 2 photos of S3 and the photo of S4 in that catalog.
Wish I had the physical booklet, have bid on it before but it usually goes for quite a bit, I do have the 93' though but I don't think that's as cool as the 92' lineups.

Hope so, but I don't see a cheap bit of plastic equaling a $3 difference. Plus it's all still the same UPC/SKU/DPCI isn't it?

My big question is, will Target drop the price to 10 if they get 7 or 8? Or do they remain at $13? Are they just cheaper at Walmart because Walmart is dirt cheap compared to Target?

I'm not so sure about S4 not moving if showing up at Target. The store over by me got 2 boxes of S5 over the past month or so and they all moved pretty quick. Macho right away, and New Day within a week or so each time. I guess there must still be some demand for those series since they havn't been at retail too heavy. Just hope Target didn't warehouse as many of 4 and 5 as they had with 3.
My store was out of stock and it now shows in stock, but I'm not rushing over to see what they got. I assume it's either 4 or 5 of both I'm good on now.

Take a picture of the tag and bring it to customer service. Tell them you would like info or just to have it ordered. Some of these stores have a really low on-hand inventory reorder point and the system probably thinks there is a few in stock. It works I’ve done it before Just shows nobody in that dept does their job if it takes a customer telling a manager the pegs are empty.

Fake Diesel. Has a card too, as does Fake Razor. Brakkus too. Many fun hours spent playing that game. Haha, so then in the game did they distinguish between fake Razor/Diesel and Hall/Nash? Assuming the trivia game covered all previous eras. Or did they just pretend it was all the same character?

Here's some things: there's an attitude era version of this as well. I had both and liked to mix the cards to make it more challenging. some are REALLY deep cut trivia questions these days Wow, did they seriously put fake Diesel on the box? Or is it Nash? Can't tell, but guessing this had to be from early 97' as Bret and Austin from SS 96' are there.
