This has basically proved that the choice has nothing to do with it. Inflation has spoken.

There is only one reason this didn't get backed. Inflation. Everything else is a moan from people that couldn't afford it. And they couldn't afford it.....because of inflation.
If this was done 2 years ago it would have pissed home, it is frankly one of the greatest wrestling figure accessories ever made.
The international situation is nothing to do with Mattel. The UK gov have made it mandatory for large retailaers to take the 20% tax of good plus shipping at purchase point, for anything over £135.
GBP USD was 1.20 when price was set.
400/1.20 = £320 Large shipments I'm getting in are costing 130-150 bucks. That's another 100 quid at least if economies of scale get that down to 70 quid,
390 + 12.50 clearance. + 20% tax = 485 quid with a low estimate of shipping cost.
To think Mattel were on the make from us is deluded.
Here is the super high optimism.
Plastic prices and crude prices have crashed since the price was set. Thought dollar has weakened about 5%.
There havent officially cancelled it yet I dont believe. Maybe, 4000 is now enough to get it done. OR, have another crack with a slightly lower price / bigger package, once interest rates start reversing and the cost of living comes down. We've already seen car prices plummet recently. It's the same principle. As I said, every other reason is a micro explantion for a macro problem.

Hopefully they have a wider window for Hogan and Funk. And hopefully you can order multiples so I can try and land a chase. No way that sells as quick. Zeus was a big selling point.

Phones, browsers, all have options to save payment details. And Mattel creations can also use Shopify's payment service. Well, you mean if I click the credit card number field for example then it automatically adds the credit number? But still need to add "name of card holder", Exp. Date & the 3 digit code No, it can have number name and exp. Date auto populate, just needs the 3 digit pin.

How as it possible to add payment in advance? I only could add address in advance. When I clicked on payment info like 1h before it started, there was no option to add a payment option. I wanted to pay by visa credit card but it asked for info as soon as I went through the whole checkout thing. Phones, browsers, all have options to save payment details. And Mattel creations can also use Shopify's payment service.

I'd never bought from MC before. Yes, I did add my shipping info in at like 11:30, but I entered everything else in manually. I think it has to do more with browser, pop-up blocker/cookies, and if you're on mobile or a laptop.
Finally, a level headed person. Seems like everyone else missed my point. The strategies I mentioned could help a person next year who was unaware of the best approach. If you did all of those things already, then yeah, you may have gotten unlucky. But if you failed to do even one of those things you yourself contributed to not getting one. If you logged in at 12:01 you didn’t want it bad enough. If you didn’t have the foresight to ensure that your payment info was stored (something I saw people in this thread asking about how to do) or couldn’t figure out how to do so, then you weren’t as serious about getting the figure as the person who took those precautions. Point is that you’ve gotta do everything within your power to influence the odds in your favor. If you did and were unlucky, again, I sympathize. It's good advice, but it didn't work. I had everything pre loaded. Addresses, payment details. The 3 items I wanted on different pages. The problem was, the NHB page crashed and didn't add the peoples carts straight away. It took over 2 minutes to get to the checkout page, which has nothing to do with entering any details. Just make more Mattel. This was always going to be a huge seller.

200 have been sold or are in the process of selling for 100% profit on Ebay US alone.

Sonloafs of people missed out, and loads of people got 2. See the problem here? No one should be allowed 2 with this demand. Don’t agree with this at all. Some collect MOC and loose. Let's get it right. That population, myself formerly included, is tiny. The majority of 2 buys will be sold on for profit.

When you wait 5 years for a Zeus and it dumps it from your cart, so you have to re add it and it sells it. Awful customer experience, yet another yeah of paying over the odds from the UK. Just make enough, how hard is it....

I’m glad the Jake is getting re-released. Never saw that wave at Walmart and wasn’t willing to pay the inflated eBay prices. One of my favorite Snake attires! Doing this opens up the door for a lot of cool upgrades. Hoping it sells as well as the positive reactions indicate. CAn it continue to focus more on these ones like JAKE that had terrible releases, rather than those that were released 10 years ago but were plentiful at the time. Royal Rumble 2020 Macho and Lita, King Harley /Commissioner Shawn Michaels series, some of the decade of domination ones come to mind

Assuming the rumours about the era/look of Hogan Elite 96 are correct - please can we have a Hulk Rules vest without the Velcro down the middle this time? I know you’ve said you have fought for this on previous hogans and you probably can’t answer this before elite 96 is revealed but I wanted to ask again at the earliest opportunity. We get the Velcro gimmick but particularly with Hulk Rules on the front, it kind of kills the look as it doesn’t really line up. I absolutely personally want each major Hulk shirt released without the velcrIt won’t be on this upcoming figure though. Can you look at the bandana's from those era's too Steve? Hulk Rules bandana Summerslam 90. Python Power from early 1991. Hulkster from Summerslam 91 til WM8. And the Hulk Hogan vest with the Stars and stripes between the names from WM8

Smyths had loads of Matt Riddle, both Becky basic variants, a few Black left, loads of Elias and Kairi, think they will be the discounters.

Is it possible to acetone off the neck tattoos of the Corey Graves basic 77 without taking off the flesh colour too? I've done tattoos before. Yes, be patient, don't put too much on the cotton bud. Get some off, then wash it. get some more off then wash it. Dont leave the acetone on too long.

Actually, my buddy in the US ships them to me, it's much cheaper, because its free to ship to him and then about 110 bucks for a huge parcel of 50-60 figures, rather than the hundreds it costs through the service RSC use.
But I just can't fill an order this year to make it worthwhile. So much junk that's years old. With patience, we could still get exclusives up to last year for reasonable prices, but now, regular lines are on sale in the UK for peanuts in discount stores, the ultimates series 1 are now under 10 bucks here. And it's counterwaited by bog standard figures being sold for 50 bucks on ebay because no store wants to order them so they are being made exclusive. Very similar to the end of the Jakks line.
That's really a decent move on your part. If you don't mind me asking a percentage on what you save in comparison shipping wise? Because I would be willing to do that as well for people, such as finding an exclusive in store I don't need and ship them for retail+shipping in exchange for those "Peanuts" figures you're speaking of. I think RSC shipping is at least an extra 100 bucks. PLUS, I usually get away with no customs when my friend sends. If I got full customs on a 500 buck order with 200 buck delivery, that would be another 175 bucks. So it's a huge saving, and it really has been a core part of me having such a huge collection. I give him 2 bucks per figure if he buys them for me, but that has dried up because he makes so much selling the exclusives on ebay. But for a large parcel like this, I give him 30 bucks.

The sales have been a shambles this year. Over cutting some stuff so it sells out, and now undercutting other stuff. It use to be consistently good, and my order would be in the 500-600 dollar region. there is no value in doing a 300 dollar order to England on stuff thats sold here anyway. What with the Walmart exclusives shambles, I reckon my collection is now missing about 50 figures from the last year. It's no longer a fun line to collect. We have TONS of Elites from the past year at very low prices. Did you look through the 150+ sale items?? The BF/CM sales have been very popular, I'm sorry you didn't find what you were looking for. Yeah, I looked through all 10 pages. 100%, sorry to say it was better for the previous 9 years. Last year was the best one ever. I've got a pretty photographic memory, a lot of prices were so cheap last week they sold out, like the Singh brothers, and other bits, like Hacksaw, EC3, have gone up this week with only a handful of new things added to the sale. Maybe I should have done it in 2 orders. Oh well.

It's also tougher for you, because judging by your refs, you're from the UK. Those extra postages are crazy expensive. I often gripe about prices, but I also often forget about other who have to pay substantially more for their figures and exclusives. Maybe the week before Christmas will better suit everyone since the feedback on the sales have been genuinely terrible this year Actually, my buddy in the US ships them to me, it's much cheaper, because its free to ship to him and then about 110 bucks for a huge parcel of 50-60 figures, rather than the hundreds it costs through the service RSC use.
