My take away with the Paul thing has always been, “It’s bad to get a higher position in life by sleeping with someone hot with ties to power?” Man got the bag and the girl. I think he won. I mean, Will is doing just fine regardless. Just have felt it’s a funny insult since I was 12 way back in 2000. Haha The "slept your way to the top" jab makes less and less sense to me now that they've been together like two decades. Along with having three kids. Plus, why would the new bosses give a crap who Hunter sleeps with, in the decision to put him in the position he's now in. Honestly, when I saw what Ospreay said, my first thought was that he had to have been told to say that. From what I've seen of him in interviews, it just didn't come off like something he'd really push to say on TV, even if what Triple H said bothered him in anyway. And my take on the footage, is it just makes Tony look like a bad boss. The first reason is the decision to air it, just because of the Punk interview. Second is, that with him sitting right there ( I guess he's to the right of them in the footage) and knows that Perry and Punk have already had problems in the past. He sees the two of the start talking, obviously in a tense matter, and doesn't either try to get them away from each other, and at least have some of the people around help out in de-escalate the situation.

Going backwards… RAW Tag Team Championship -> Unified Tag Team Championship -> RAW Tag Team Championship -> WWE Tag Team Championship -> Unified Tag Team Championship -> World Tag Team Championship -> WWE/WWF Tag Team ChampionshipSmackDown Tag Team Championship -> Unified Tag Team Championship -> SmackDown Tag Team Championship The only thing I’m slightly confused by is why the World Tag Team Championship lineage ended when the titles were initially unified, when they were the original Tag Team titles. Actually it would go WWE Tag Team Championship (The first Smackdown Championships started in 02 with Benoit and Angle as the first) to the Unified Tag Team championships.

I don’t understand how anyone is confused by any of this. When titles are unified, so are the lineage and former champions. When a new championship is introduced, it doesn’t carry any old lineage. There’s no connection between the Big Gold and the current World Heavyweight Championship. There’s no connection between the Universal Championship and any title from the past. Except that WWE ended up continuing with the WWE Tag Team Championship name and lineage after the original Raw (WWE) & SD (World) tag titles were unified, causing the SmackDown (World) lineage (which was the original tag title lineage) to stop. Other way around. The belts used on Raw were the World Tag Team Titles, and the WWE Tag Team Titles were Smackdown, and created after the World Tag Team Titles became exclusive to Raw. I get that when they unified the belts they retired the lineage of the WWE Tag Team Titles, but why? It would make sense to keep alive the Tag Team Titles, that started all the way back in the 70s, over the ones you made simply so both brands had titles.

I still don't get though why the lineage of the original Smackdown Tag Team titles, are part of the Raw Tag Team belts. That one confused me lol To me, the WWE Tag Team Titles (the first Smackdown Tag belts) should have been the ones retired, once they unified them with Primo and Carlito. That way, the current Raw belts, would be carrying the lineage of the original tag team titles. Even stranger, I looked at some of the other titles on the site, the most recent Cruiserweight Title, had it's lineage start when TJ Perkins won it. Yet you look at the original Cruiserweight title, they include the WCW Cruiserweight title in it's lineage as well as the WCW Light Heavyweight Title.

According to WWE's site, no, the World Title, does not carry the lineage to the previous world Title. Seth Rollins in recognized as the first champion. Neither tag team belt carries the lineage from 1971, according to WWE those titles were retired with DH Smith and Tyson Kidd being the last champions. The Smackdown belts start with Rhyno & Heath Slater and the Raw belts with Angle & Benoit, which makes no sense, cause those belts were the Smackdown belts during the first brand split. As for the WWE Title, is that eventually during Cody's reign, the Universal Title will be considered retired, and he'll be the final champion in it's lineage, and the title he continues to hold, carries back to Buddy Rogers. Sweet summary I still don't get though why the lineage of the original Smackdown Tag Team titles, are part of the Raw Tag Team belts.

The lineage of some of the belts is driving me crazy. Does the WHC carry the same lineage from the one that debut in 02? Which tag belt carries the lineage from 1971? The Undisputed one is also confusing. They seriously need to erase the Universal title and it's history. It was never a good title to begin with so just rename it the WWE World title and keep it's original history. Man I wish they'd make an Edward Kenway figure in this scale.

My buddy who is a very loose wrestling fan, ya know kid watches it, he watched it in the attitude era but has been to rumbles and manias since with us. Said about Samantha Irvin “she might be the best ring announcer they have ever had after the guy with the mustache” ya know he might be right. Yep, the Fink is still the best. Yeah, Fink will always be number one, but Samantha has probably been the closest to ever truly be considered a challenge to him. Just seeing that it's clear that she's enjoying what she does, adds to the presentation.

Honestly I'm sort of surprised they haven't made a Charles Robinson. He's about the only one I'd really want (other than Hebner). I'm surprised the first current ref to be made is John Cone and not Charles Robinson. The man has been a WWE referee since 2001, and been on TV since 1997. He's also had quite a few memorable moments.

Picked up the Patch & Joe Fix-It and Logan & Sabretooth two packs today at GameStop. Both sets look great. They had all four of the Wolverine two packs, but these were the two I was hoping to find.

Would make for a great figure. Comes with both belts. Always loved the big eagle and thought it was a worthy successor to the winged eagle, but I never understood why the first version on the blue strap, and the first oval IC belt was purple. They just didn't look right with the colored leather.

Hope you guys have a good time. Sadly it's a bit too much of a drive for me, I'm up on the Mass border, and when I looked up where the store is, from where I live, it's over an hour drive. Got to meet Becky after 3 1/2 hours. Very down to earth and sweet woman. When we walked out the line was ending where we started so those people still had about 3.5 hours to go. I give Her credit for spending probably over 7 hours signing books and taking pictures, she was extremely polite and shook everyone's hand. Like usual with most wrestling events, made friends with many people in line and had some fun talks. I wish the online wrestling world was as nice and fun as actually talking to fans in line. Great to hear. I had a friend who texted me, that ended up going too, and she sent me a picture of the the crowd there. Great to see she's getting great turn outs for these signing appearances, and I love hearing how great she is with fans. That's part of why I'm a fan of hers, all accounts are she's just a down to earth, good person.

Not a figure finding thing, but wrestling related, had a friend just send me news about it, apparently Becky Lynch is doing a book signing at RJ Julia Booksellers in Madison, this Saturday I'm going with my girl and best friend. She is only signing her book, no pops or figs or anything else. Hope you guys have a good time. Sadly it's a bit too much of a drive for me, I'm up on the Mass border, and when I looked up where the store is, from where I live, it's over an hour drive.

I felt the need to bump this thread, even though I was late on the timing, because the beginning of the month marked 30 years since the world lost him. This was one of the articles I saw that was posted on the anniversary. people.com/john-candy-kids-30th-anniversary-of-his-death-tributes-8603873And I'll always say this, John Candy was one of the greatest gifts Canada gave to the world, both as an entertainer and a human being. He falls into that category of people that if more were like him, we'd probably being living in a better world.
