Idk.. It just doesnt seem like it could be real.. If it is, and thats a big IF, then chances are it makes $12 in theaters.

It looks like a camcorder movie, I don't get why anyone would release it. The JYD was pretty funny, but Andre was about 300lbs too skinny. He could actually run the ropes. And the "movie" doesn't seem funny or dramatic in any way. I'm guessing the big Andre vs Bad Guy match at the end doesn't happen in front of thousands of people.

I actually e-mailed the "director" of this disaster of a movie, and ask him why he had to try and make a horrible movie about Andre The Giant, and here's what he wrote back:
"I never intended on making a film about Andre the Giant. One of my best best friends was an actor named Matthew McGrory. He was a real giant. I met him at a motorcycle/stripclub bar out in the desert outside LA seven years back. We became great friends and he co starred in my first film Planet of the Pitts. Matthew was typecasted all the time due to his enormouse height (Carnival Act characters) I told him I can creat a screenplay about a giant and you can help with securing financing. There wern't to many screenplays about giants and the only guy we could think of was Andre Rousimmoff. I had connection to Private Investigaters from the TV show I worked at on the Warner Bros lot and we were able to get interviews from women who went out with Andre and a family member as well who shared a great story. I developed a screenplay from intense interviews that is totally original and it's mixed with some facts from the internet & books on Andre. Basically it's an original story. Matthew looks nothing like Andre but he does share the pains of being a giant with a disease called gigantism just like Andre. They both were celebrities and in the public eye. Matthew was Karl the Giant in Big Fish. They both lead personal lives with many women some became relationships. Matthew died during the production. We were six weeks in with pre production with a one week shoot in the can. I was going to can this film because without my star there's no movie. Daniel Gilchrist was casted because he was a giant and he took six months French training as well as research. Daniel Became Andre before he steeped foot into LA. He's from Colorado. He did the best job he could and so did I. We had limited funds but the movie was finished and I'm happy it did for Matthew's sake. Cody I suggest you wait til WWF releases a feature about Andre so you can see all those great wrestling moments again. But if you want to see an artistic film about Andre more on the personal life side outside the ring that has funny moments and seriouse moments mixed with an original true story check this movie out.
There is so much more but I have a real buy schedule hope you understand.
best
Rokki"

So the story basically has nothing to do with Andre the Giant, though he is the film's main character... okay.

God, how is this on at the cinemas? Looks worse than a straight-to-video flick.

wow, what a coincidence... im actually making an Owen Hart film next week in my back yard, my friend Gordon Fart is playing the part of Stu Hart, and we are going to hire Dan Akroyd to play Helen.
In other serious topics posted by myself...... i think i might stab myself in the eye after watching that trailer.
