Yeah, I haven't been here in a long time, but I felt like checking out the boards. I'm voting for McCain. Now, I don't like him. The man is just as liberal as Obama in some cases, and the fact that he calls himself a conservative is truly a laugh, because I am a conservative, and I believe in the conservatism of our founding fathers.
To those who say Obama will save the planet...
Obama will allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. This is vital to the country's survival. Need proof? The man said it's "a tiny country" and it isn't a threat.
He will raise taxes in an already horrid economic situation, leading to a depression faster than we will have with McCain. I'd like to note that we WILL have a depression regardless the way things are going. Both were for the bailout bill, one of the most ridiculous pieces of legislation in this country's history, which shows that it WILL happen sooner or later. McCain is in favor of tax cuts. For those of you who claim taxes are good, because the pay for things that help us, you are a fool. Social Security taxes are meaningless. Social Security is bankrupt. If it isn't fixed, there will be nothing for us by the time we qualify. Medicare is bankrupt. You're paying for something that can barely cover the people who have it. The rest of your taxes are being wasted. They're even away almost daily in the form of earmarks and as contributions to other worthless government programs. Also our taxes go to countries like Africa, a country of savages that contributes nothing to the world, and Mexico, a country who's people invade our country, and as a result they hurt our economy.
He wants to nationalize healthcare. Remember the Soviet Union? We can't afford such a thing. You won't have a paycheck left after this takes place. But this isn't too important, because special interest groups have lobbyists trying to defeat this kind of thing in Congress everyday. If you think this is a possibility, you need to get more informed. All those healthcare company aren't going to allow the government to put them out of business. Yes, our current healthcare system is horrible, but we're in a lot better shape than other countries for a reason.
He is associated with racists. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan will have more freedom than ever to spread their hate for the white man. To all who say these are men of righteousness, there is no point in talking to you. All I can say is youtube some of Farrakhan's speeches and look up the Crown Heights incident in regards to Sharpton.
Israel is our only true ally in this world, and Obama doesn't support it. He is in favor of a two state solution, which will give the majority of Israel's land to Islamic terrorists. The UK, Germany and France have abandoned us. They are cowards. I know there are UK residents here, who will tell me I'm wrong. But Israel still resists terrorists and isn't about to adopt Islamic law. I use to have respect for the UK, but it appears the days of Churchill and Thatcher are long behind us. McCain supports this decision too, but at least he doesn't keep company like a man like Farrakhan, who said Hilter was a great man.
Whether or not you supported our decision to go to Iraq, everybody must agree that we need to win. If you don't, then there's talking to you, since you've already been sucked into the left-wing vortex that has engulfed an alarming today's youth. Yes, it was a mistake to go to Iraq. But now we need to concentrate on getting out. Getting out by winning, not surrending. Now those aren't Bush talking points, those are honorable words of truth. If we try to flee Iraq without having wiped out our enemies, we risk the lives of many men and women in our armed forces. Obama wants to withdraw in six months. Where did he get this time tabel? This is war. It is unpredictable. Yes, it is unforunate and insane that the war has gone on this long, but it must be done, or we will face severe consequences.
All I can say is I wish Palin was running for president. She could be our next Regan. Well since McCain has had skin cancer three times already that might be a possibility, and that may be a horrible thing to say, but he has done some horrible things in his political career, and we're talking about the sake of the country, so when you talk about something that important it's no holds barred.
