How come the guy from Australia is starting threads about the US president? lol
Either way, Im not voting for either. Im voting for Barr. If you're going to make a Prez thread, you should atleast include third party candidates

I think regardless who wins this unless they can pull a FDR or Clinton and turn things around(very doubtful) we are looking at a one term president.
Gas prices are still going to be high, were still going to be at war and the economy will still be shaky throughout the next term.
Even if it's not their fault, the man in charge will get the blame and I don't think Americans have enough patience anymore to re-elect a guy who couldn't get the job done in the first term.

Out of the ones you picked, John McCain, but I would have probably chosen Ralph Nader.

Obama, as I am a younger American and I care about my future in college and in life. Obama seems to be appealing to me. I guess you're not in college at the moment, good luck with those empty promises.

You just said empty promises, he said he wants them for his future in college and in life.
Obama's plan is to cut college costs for those that go to college to help the community, such as nursing or teaching.

From my viewpoint in the UK, I want Obama to become prez because it will be something different hopefully, which may help the world spin better, may not be but what the hell. On our political situation, I sincerely hope Cameron doesn't become our PM because then were ed. Were being ed by Brown now tho so damned either way.

If you think either Obama or McCain will change your life, you're crazy. Let's be honest here. If you're not in the military and you don't work for the federal government, Bush hasn't really done anything to screw up your life. Neither Obama nor McCain and really do anything to improve your life unless you're in the military or you work for the feds.

I'm voting for Obama. For many reasons. Some reasons that aren't as important?
He just appears more confident in what he says and what he believes in. Sure politics is nothing but bullshit. But you have to believe something someone says, otherwise you have no business voting. I have a feeling its going to be a closer race than what some may think.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some controversy when its all said and done.
