The BJ Penn looks fantastic. I really like the head. It's not perfect on the head but looks enough like him that it works quite well. You did the hair shadowing really well and painted the eyes nicely.
The shorts sculpt and ra/da mix use works quite well. The paint job is superb. Logos aren't perfect but they look great nonetheless. This is definitely your best work.
To top it off you finished the belt which is well done.

very cool nydream u finally finished bj
this is definately your best work
your painting and sculpting has come so far
u might wanna try and neaten up the logos a bit and position the ufc logo properly
now i look back at your first few customs and im glad u stuck with customizing
u are an example that if u listen to advise and work your ass off every custom u can be a really good customizer
oh yea i like that picture where u compare your head choice to bjs head ;D

And he did not make you that pic, the reason I say that is because legally he can't anymore (BJ told him no and threatend legal action against him.) |

Well, Dream... you've improved a lot since your last few customs, this is what we like to see. I feel a very Gonzo vibe from your work, it's very similar. I like all the modding you did on this BJ Penn, it's a lot of work to do but it almost has to be done with the parts we have available to make MMA guys. The painting looks like some of you best work to date, the eyes and hair is painted nicely. Keep moving forward, don't drop the ball like some have done when they showed improvement and you'll be good to go. What's in the works next?

The severn looks great except for the head. The main issues are the mustache and the hair line. I think if you fixed both, it would look a lot better. But what can I say, I made a severn with a goofy head, haha.
Kimbo's beard and shirt look great so far. This one might turn out to be your best work. Fedor I'm not feeling on the head. Something is off, but I can't place it. Maybe once you fully paint it, it will look better. I'm sure it'll be better than that head I threw together.
Kimo's head choice looks great and I think once you get him completed he'll look pretty good.
I like the head you're using on Rampage. I think it'll work once painted and hopefully the head will turn out better than mine did.
Delaney looks great as well. Almost looks like Imports, as far as the head modification.

I'm only somewhat familiar with MMA folks, but dang, those are some great looking customs! It's great that you show proto and WIP pics as well. I don't think some people here know just how much work goes into making a great looking custom. Fantastic job!

The Penn is looking great, definitely the best of the bunch. The head is a very close match, and the painting looks very smooth. The logos could be a little cleaner, but make great details nonetheless. You might want to darken his head stubble just a little, the grayish color in the pic looks off. I'm not feeling the Severn, mostly because it looks like John Cena: Pornstar LOL. But the gloves and shoes look good, the tights and wrists need a little cleanup. The Kimbo isn't finished but it's already looking sweet, can't wait to see it fully painted.

I'm digging it.
I love that BJ Penn. The head is damn near perfect. The skintone is awesome. My two biggest problems with it are the nipples and the text on the shorts. If you are going to paint nipples you have to really make them look realistic otherwise they will look silly and you would be better off just not painting them. You have to use that color that you have now for the areola and then the nipple is going to be the same color as the skintone..maybe a tad darker..
The text could be a tad crisper but I know what a pain text could be. I love it though. You have dramatically improved each and everytime you post something.
The protos look good, I'm looking forward to Rampage.

The Bobby head could definately work with some mods to the mouth and the forehead. It has that look that Rampage usually gives the cameraman when it is a close-up shot.
