Honestly, it's at an all-time low. No knock on Bashir and Creed, but they aren't exaclty Styles and Daniels, or even Lethal and Dutt. You don't even have to be of mid-card status to be a contender for this title anymore. I really feel like now more than ever that TNA should make this belt into a belt for heavyweights as well. I know the belt has "no limits" but they aren't actually going to have heavyweights go for it. They should really make it into a TV title of sorts. It would benefit guys like Abyss or Robert Roode (when alone) to hold it. Thoughts?

Actually, don't rename, or make it a TV title. The X-Division isn't about weight limits, it's about no limits. So why not have Abyss, Roode, or some other talented heavyweight the belt? I mean, it worked for Joe. And if they could get Claudio, he could easily be a top contender.

Someone like Robert Roode does not. Regardless, the title in its current state is horrible. And there are so many guys like Rhino, Kip James, Abyss, etc that could benefit from a change.

Honestly, Creed & Bashir haven't been given the chance(s) to live up to expecations but look at Petey/Creed's 3 or 4 matches - they was very good. That could've been a very solid series of matches with Petey & Creed exchanging wins (Creed in non-titles). It could've also been used to open eyes for Creed like "This guy can have with the best in Petey" and then have the big "pay off" with Creed winning the strap at the "big one".
They've got the talent - they just need to give 'em the chance to have these "OH MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME" matches imo.

I've seen all the weekkly PPVs from 2002 but I'm still some how able to get into it. It might be because I'm such a mark for Creed though.

Yeah, Rhino and Kip James really need a title. The X-division is the only thing alternative about TNA at this point, no matter how horrible its current condition. It has a ton of history with the company and it would be igorant if they junked it when it can easily be revamped. The X-division and tag titles should be the next step to the World title. If you don't belong in the X-division, you go for tag gold and build yourself into a main event contender that way. It's what TNA looks to be doing with Storm, Roode, Hernandez, and Morgan. They just need to bring the X-division back up to it's prior level of intensity and match quality... the problem is Creed and Bashir aren't the guys to achieve this.

Breaking up the Prince Justice Idiots would help for one to get Christopher Daniels back. Then have Daniels, Petey, Lethal, and Dutt be in the title hunt. Then when Kaz comes back, have him in it. Heck, throw in Suicide once he debuts if he is x-division style.

Don't break 'em up - just have Curry Man break away from them. Have the feud with RNR keep going and have Curry vs. Rave/Hoyt in "Mask vs. Hair" - Daniels loses and that brings Daniels back.

I can't believe that TNA has what should be their "most exciting" belt contested, at their WM, between two retards.
I mean Davari sucks and that is being nice!
Creed is okay but not good enough for tna's WM equivalent.
Hopefully creed does win since he is way better than davari.
Hopefully tna gets its craptogether.
