PWInsider.com has confirmed the 10/23 date is, as was rumored by TNA's wrestlers today, a live broadcast of Impact. The idea came from SpikeTV's end. I don't have any details on ticket information at this time. An official announcement is forthcoming.
Devin Cutting sent word that TNA has removed its 10/15 date at The Impact Zone from its scheduled on the TNA website. That taping would have seen the company tape its 10/23 episode.
The word making its way around TNA's wrestlers this afternoon at the taping was that the 10/23 Las Vegas date at The Joint in the Hard Rock Cafe & Casino will be a live broadcast of Impact on SpikeTV.
That would be the first time Impact has been held outside of the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.
TNA held a live Impact broadcast on Thursday 3/27 earlier this year to take advantage of WWE's Wrestlemania weekend being in Orlando.
The plan for the 10/23 TNA Impact live broadcast from Las Vegas is that it will be the company's first foray into High Definition broadcasting.

Tickets for the 10/23 TNA Impact live broadcast at the Joint in the Hard Rock Cafe & Casino will go on sale Friday 10/3 at 12 PM Pacific. Belltime will be 6 PM.
The taping will be priced at $63 for first row ringside, $43 for second and third floor seating, $33 for the remainder of the floor, $33 for reserved balcony seats and $23 general admission.
As we reported yesterday, the live taping was a request from SpikeTV and will be the company's first HDTV broadcast. SpikeTV will be taping their annual Scream Awards the same week, so it appears TNA will likely share Spike's production equipment.
