As the Phoenix Rises

The crowd were buzzing for the start of the new FUSE. A stagehand has already placed a prop inside the ring, it is square-ish on the top with a stand to hold it up. Then new music plays announcing the arrival of a dark haired man in a suit. He seems to be mid 30-ish and enters the ring.

Man: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to a night you will never forget, this is ‘As the Phoenix Rises.’ Now before we continue let me introduce myself I am Zachary Miller or ‘Owner X’ so yes I am FUSE’s new owner! And that leads me onto my next point (unveils prop) Welcome to Sims National Wrestling!



Zachary: But I will not be alone here in SNW, please welcome my business partner and fiancée Jennifer Hill!

A blonde woman walks out in a short skirt and smart suit. She gets some wolf whistles and enters the ring to kiss him. Zach wishes us a good night and leaves with Jennifer Hill.

Match 1: Steven Kagemann vs. Drake Fortune
Fortune is one of the new students in training, they just needed someone to job to Kagemann and Drake volunteered. Kagemann stuck to stiff hits and finished Fortune off with a Fire Tornado (Modded Shooting Star Press)
Winner: Steven Kagemann

Kagemann:(In a crazy and distressed voice) THOMAS!…BRET THOMAS! You wanna know why I attacked you? You wanna know why I beat you up? YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I CRUSHED YOUR SKULL WITH A CHAIR! …I teamed up with you, helped you, aided you but after each match you thought I was going to attack you. Match 2: Chris Hammers vs. El Tiger
Another squash match in favour of the former World Champ, Tiger put up a good fight and had the fans well behind him but Hammers finished him off with a Last Minute Orders (Sit out spinebuster)
Winner: Chris Hammers

A projector is turned on against one of the walls of the arena and we see Evan Pagano in a car. He tells us he’s on the ROH international tour. He also says he has unfinished business to deal with, which is Austin Aries. He says that Aries left FUSE because he was afraid of Pagano after slapping him. Pagano said he will get his revenge.

Match 3: American Airforce (Ace Bennet & Tom Gerrard) vs. Insane Assassins (Insane Dragon & Twisted Assassin)
AmForce once again worked perfectly as a team, think MCMG with more high flying spots. The Assassins played off the crowd well and got the fans hating them early on. After a double dropkick by AmForce they hit the ‘Bombs Away!’ for the win.
Winner: American Airforce (Ace Bennet & Tom Gerrard)

Bennet: Revolution X, New Age Lady Killers it doesn’t matter who leaves with the belt tonight as soon the Duo titles will be around the American Airforce.
Gerrard: God Bless America

Kineval: There you are, were have you been?
Jacobs: I thought you wouldn’t want to see me after Riot Act?
Kineval: That’s in the past, you got my back tonight?
Jacobs: Yeah allright, lets just kick this Williams guy ass and get outta this craphole
Kineval: That’s the best thing you’ve said all night

Match 4: Sam Kineval w) Nick Jacobs vs. Jason Williams
A great match by the two, Jason and Kineval have a high flying style so they clicked very well. Jacobs also built up heat from the outside. Williams was able to get a shock win after sending Kineval onto Jacobs (who was on the apron) and rolling Kineval up.
Winner: Jason Williams

Williams then hightailed it and left giving a quick celebration in the process. Jacobs entered the ring and started shouting at Kineval until Kineval pushed Jacobs to the floor.

Match 5: Patrick R. Everson w) Edward Colgate vs. Jack Powers
This was Everson’s biggest challenge to date but he still put on a stellar performance. Powers is like a young Bryan Danielson while Everson is more of a powerhouse with techniqual spurts. Powers went to finish off Everson with a Power Suplex (Bridged Tiger Suplex) but Colgate interfeared on the outside causing Everson to win with The the Harvard Hangover (Brainbuster)
Winner: Patrick R. Everson

Mike Bockwinkel then walked out with mic in his hand.
Mike: Many of you are wondering why I turned on Jacob Ryler and Jack Powers at Riot Act, well I’ll cut straight to the point because to be honest I don’t want to spend much longer in this craphole. (Load ‘you suck balls’ chant) Very original, are they the only words in your vocabulary? (‘Shut the f*** up’ chant start up) Anyway the night before Riot Act, I has a look at myself in the mirror. And what I saw was a loser, a man who is playing second fiddle to Ryler and Powers. Chris Hammers then came to me with a offer I couldn’t refuse, if I help him to regain the title I will receive the first title shot. (‘You sold out’ chant) So yes you may call me a sell out but at the end of the day I’m simply a Bockwinkel.

Hammers stood at the entrance clapping, this only enraged the fans on more. Mike left the ring and shook hands with Hammers.

Hammer: Please welcome the new member of Revolution X, Mike Bockwinkel!

IWGP Champions vs. Duo Champions
Main Event: New Age Lady Killers (Daniel Sinn & Drew Parkland) vs. Revolution X (Jordan Devine & Safu)
The fans loved the Lady Killers and hated Rev X a lot after the previous segment. This match went on for over 20 minutes and was some really good action. It didn’t match up to the Powers/Everson match but was still one of FUSE/SNW top 10 matches. All men hit their respective finishers but in the end the IWGP Champions get the pin with the Southern Styling.
Winner and new Duo Champions: New Age Lady Killers (Daniel Sinn & Drew Parkland)

Sinn and Parkland celebrated with both belts as the losers rolled out from the ring. Hammers and Mike stood at the entrance and looked disappointingly at their members. Parkland then jumped into the crowd to celebrate his title win.
