Fade to Black
As always SNW started with the students from the Snow Wrestling Academy, the announcer also announced the double main event of tonight’s show.
Dark Match: Mike Hogan vs. Cody Rejero
This match was to put over Hogan ready for a future students cup match. Cody looked to be more concentrating on hitting big spots than the over all peformance. Hogan however acted like a true professional and got the win with a Tombstone Piledriver.
Winner: Mike Hogan
Hogan cut a quick promo insulting Kevin Hart as the current Cup holder telling him that soon the cup will be in his possession. A pretty neat promo there by Hogan, we now start the main show.
Match 1: The Assassins (Twisted Assassin & Insane Assassin) vs. Matthew Spade & El Tiger
A bad opener to kick off, Spade and Tiger were just thrown together to job to the Assassins. Tiger went for some top rope moves but nothing ever came of them. Spade shows potential but can’t find that right gimmick to get over. After a Dragon's Fury (Death Valley Driver) on Tiger by twisted it was all over.
Winner: The Assassins (Twisted Assassin & Insane Assassin)
After the match Assassin walked out and patted the duo on the back, he got some good heat from the crowd and even told them to ‘shut it’ as the boo’s got too load. He then said just like his boys he would win his match and face Jacobs for the title. After the rest of the opponents came out the current FUSE Champion walked out and sat watching the match.
No.1 Contender to the FUSE Championship
Match 2: Jason Williams vs. Assassin vs. Jacob Ryler vs. Safu
A large mix of styles from highflying (Jason) to powerhouse (Safu) to a techniqual style (Ryler) Ryler has fallen a lot from what he used to be. He used to main event now he works the midcards. Assassin looked strong but took out Safu and himself after a over the top rope dive. This allowed Jason to hit the Psycho Driver for the win.
Winner and no.1 contender to the FUSE Championship: Jason Williams
Afterwards Jacobs slid in and went to hit Jason with the belt but Ryler jumps in the way! Jacobs then exits fast up the ramp as Jason stays by Ryler’s side.
Backstage we see Evan Pagano entering the arena, he has a ROH shirt on and walks up to a stage hand.
Pagano: Hey has Aries arrived yet?
Stagehand: Ughh no sir, not yet
Pagano: Well tell me when he does, right?
Stagehand: Ughh yes sir
Match 3: American Airforce (Ace Bennett & Tom Gerrard) vs. Britain's Finest (Jordan Devine & James Simmons)
Both teams had their share of offence from their different styles (highflying and techniqual) Amforce look the more experienced while UK’s finest are still learning how to tag. In the end Amforce went for the Bombs Away but UK’s finest rolled out and left causing a countout.
Winners by countout: American Airforce (Ace Bennett & Tom Gerrard)
Intermission was up next and some face students such as Big Bob and Lee Kineval were at a table by the entrance. They basically signed anything or just chatted away.
Match 4: Steven Kagemann vs. Bret Thomas
In true heel fashion Kagemann kept exiting the ring and tried everything to get away from his rival. When Thomas finally got his hands on Kagemann Super Extreme and Nick Jacobs ran down to attack Thomas. The match was stopped.
Winners: No contest
Nick Jacobs then picked up the mic saying that after their spectacular performance at Master of 3 the Adrenaline Boyz are back in action. Jason Williams and Jacob Ryler ran down and scared AD Boyz off.
Backstage we see the stagehand from earlier knocking on a door, a voice says ‘enter’ so he does. We see Pagano in new cool looking gear lacing up his boots.
Pagano: So…?
Stagehand: Aries has just arrived
Pagano: Thanks
Pagano rises and pushed the man against the wall and goes to leave but owner Zachary Miller stands in the door way.
Pagano: What do you want Miller?
Miller: Just wanted to welcome you back to SNW, you haven’t wrestled here since FUSE ended right?
Pagano: Cut the small talk, what do you really want?
Miller: As you know Pagano I’m the new boss around here and I don’t want my wrestlers going out to attack their oppenent before the match. That would ruin the show if all the action happened off screen. That’s why I’m here to stop you leaving this room until your match.
Pagano: So what? Your gonna stop me?
Miller: Sorry I didn’t make myself quite clear
Miller moves aside to revela two large bodyguards who tower over both Pagano and Miller. Miller wishes Pagano luck before leaving.
Main Event 1: Tyler Black vs. Patrick Everson
This was an awesome match, Everson is limited to being a powerhouse so sometimes he doesn’t mix with his opponent well. In this match he didn’t gel with Black but their styles worked and got the crowd going behind them. The fans were chanting Black possibly the loudest we have ever heard them. A Phoenix Splash blew the roof off the house and got Black the win.
Winner: Tyler Black
After Black left Everson’s manager, Edward Colgate started having a hissy fit. Everson got to his feet and the music of Jack Powers played, this frightened both men but nothing came of it.
Chris Hammers walked out with Mike Bockwinkel to his side and Safu and Amy-Lee behind him. Henry Edwards then walked out with title on shoulder. Owner Zachary Miller and his fiancée were already in the ring with a table, two chairs and a contract. Edwards said that he thinks he should be facing Bockwinkel as he pinned him after all. He read the contract then signed it, Hammers told him he was signing his own death warrant. Hammers then started insulting Edwards before signing the contract.
Miller: Do you usually sign a contract without reading it first?
Hammers: What? What are you on about?
Miller: Well I was just wondering, you may want to read it
Hammers: I don’t have time for that, we have business to attend to (looking at Edwards)
Miller: Well maybe you would like me to read it out?
Hammer: If it would shut you up, yes
Miller then started reading the contract then he said the actual match.
Miller: The match will be held for the SNW Championship with a no time limit rule. Champion Henry Edwards against challenger Chris Hammers…in a CAGE MATCH!
RevX went crazy espically Hammers, Edwards then exited along with the owner and his fiancée.
We see Pagano exit his locker room with the guards standing one in front of him and one behind him. Pagano mutters something on how ridiculous this is before Personal Jesus hits and Aries walks out to a ear defaming response which equals Blacks cheer from earlier.
Anything Goes
Evan Pagano vs. Austin Aries
A crazy match which ranks in the top 5 SNW matches of all time, it started off with some wicked pure wrestling but when Pagano realised that thing s wasn’t going his way he grabbed a chair. More and more weapons were used which included a table, (which Aries went though after a modded powerbomb) a ladder, (which Pagano was sent flying onto) and a Singapore cane which was used many times on both men. In the end Pagano was bleeding buckets (think Jimmy Jacobs) Aries hit a brainbuster and after a 450 splash Aries ran his first match in the promotion he created.
Winner: Austin Aries
Aries celebrated a lot before getting on the mic putting over the whole SNW roster and Owner Zachary Miller. Pagano stumbled to his feet and slouched in the corner still covered in blood. He says a few things to piss off the crowd and Aries but then says ‘but after all that I respect you, you trained me and everyone here. So thank you’ Pagano then rolled out as medics came to take him away.
