Land of the Rising SunAs usual the students of the Snow Wrestling Academy wrestled to kick off the show.
Students Trophy
Dark Match: Kevin Hart w) Gavin Hart vs. Lee Kineval w) Mike HoganThe Harts really got under the skin of the Japanese fans at home tonight, they work the crowd so well. Inside we also saw a damn good show, Gavin tried to get involved but Hogan took him out. Then Kevin took advantage with a low blow and a roll up.
Winner and still Student Trophy Holder: Kevin HartKevin then quickly exited with his trophy and then realised Gavin was still at ringside. Hogan threw him inside then hit the Curbstomp. Hogan helped Kineval get to his feet and then motioned for the trophy.
DVD/You Tube ExclusiveKevin is walking in a corridor with his trophy then Owner Zachary Miller appears from around the corner.
Miller: Ah Kevin, I want to talk to you
Kevin: Let me guess, I’m working full time roster now. Right?
Miller: Ugh no Kevin, as stated I have no intentions on bringing up anyone at the moment. However I did want to talk to you about next week
Kevin: (Disappointed) Right
Miller: Next week you will face off against Mike Hogan with the Students Cup on the line
Kevin: What! I just defended it!
Miller: And you’ll do it again next week
Miller then walks off as Kevin is stuck in shock
Kevin: (Whsipers) Bastard
Miller: Sorry, did you say something?
Kevin: No, nothing
Miller: Oh yes, I didn’t say. To make sure your brother or Kineval aren’t the deciding factor in the match it will be a Lumberjack match.
Battle for Japan Qualifier
Match 1: Dragon Kid vs. Jason WilliamsWhat a great match, the Dragon Gate wrestler worked perfectly well with Jason in one of the best high flying display SNW has ever had. Due to Kid being on SNW, Jason will be appearing on the next Dragon Gate show. Williams wins with the Shooting Star Leg Drop.
Winner and entering the Battle for Japan: Jason WilliamsDVD/You Tube ExclusiveIn front of a make-sift interview set we see SNW World Champion Mike Bockwinkel, Safu and Amy-Lee. Behind them is a tattered flag with the Revolution X logo on it.
Bockwinkel: Hello SNW viewers, SNW Champion Mike Bockwinkel here and as we announced today you will see a new member of Revolution X. We are such an established stable, Revolution X started at the very first show and since then have ruled over SNW. We started off as a Revolution but now thanks to me, we are rulers. And now I feel that RevX needs a new member please welcome LyNN.
LyNN: Thank you Mike and what a privilege and honour it is to be part of this stable. Safu and I will help and aid you and make sure Revolution X stays on top.
Match 2: LyNN vs. El TigerA quick jobbing match, it started off with LyNN overpowering El Tiger then using techniqual skill to finish off SNW’s masked cat with a Superplex into a Jackhammer.
Winner: LyNNBattle for Japan Qualifier
Match 3: Bret Thomas vs. James Simmons w) Jordan DevineThomas has been feuding with UK’s Finest and although he can out power both, the number advantage keeps them winning. As Thomas went to put Simmons away Devine jumped on the apron. Thomas booted Devine off the apron then hit the Hammer's Fall (Gory Rack Piledriver) to win
Winner and entering the Battle for Japan: Bret ThomasDVD/You Tube ExclusiveBackstage we are once again in the locker room of Nick Jacobs, Steven Kagemann and Super Extreme collectively known as the Adrenaline Boyz.
Jacobs: Look guys I got something I want to tell you
Extreme: Yep
Jacobs: Well you know how I got my match tonight with Powers
Extreme: Yep
Jacobs: Well I thought I would go out alone
Extreme: You what?
Jacobs: You know just wrestle him one-on-one
Extreme: Oh I see what your trying to do, just because some internet freak says you may get a push. You think you can do it all alone.
Jacobs: Well maybe I can
Extreme: Shut up! You couldn’t have done anything without me or Steve by your side!
Jacobs: Oh yeah because your win-loss record is freaking amazing!
Steven: SHUT IT! Listen Extreme, if he wants to go out alone let him. But Jacobs don’t screw this up
Jacobs: I won’t
Match 4: Jack Powers vs. Nick JacobsA pretty good wrestling match, this match was used to elevate Jacobs into the Upper-Mid Card section. Powers has a good match with just about anyone that’s why I liken him once again to a young Bryan Danielson. Jacobs went for a Jacobs Drop 2.0 (Fisherman's Suplex Cutter) but Power jumped out of it and locked in the Choke-Out (Rear Naked Choke), which Jacobs submitted to.
Winner: Jack PowersAfterwards Powers celebrated and the Japan fans loved him. Kagemann and Extreme came out and Extreme got in a shouting fight with Jacobs but like always Kagemann came between them then they walked off.
DVD/You Tube ExclusiveBackstage Evan Pagano paced back and forth then looked into the camera
Pagano: Right, I have been thinking about what to say all day and now I have the camera in front of me one thing it flowing though my mind. One phase ‘F*CK you Miller’ you see we have a love/hate relationship. You hate me and I love to hate you, you send me to jail, I send you to jail and now you send your bodyguard after me? Seriously all I have to do is jangle a burger about and he’s forgotten about the match. So tonight I go though Safu, no doubt you’ll send that LyNN guy after me next well bring it on. But sooner or later you’ll run out of guys for me to beat. All you’ll have left is yourself and Bockwinkel. So who are you gonna send? Yourself and risk injury or the Champ, it’s a no brainer. And after I become the NEW SNW Champion, I’ll come after you and rip you apart.
Match 5: Evan Pagano vs. SafuSafu started dominating throughout the match with Pagano throwing a few strikes, which had little effect on the samoan. Then Safu went for a big splash in the corner but Pagano moved then hit the Sickick for the win.
Winner: Evan PaganoAfter this RevX’s LyNN came running out, he laid Pagano out with a clothesline then told Amy (who was at ringside for the match) to get two chairs. He placed one Pagano’s leg then slammed the chair onto it three times. RevX then stood tall.
Duo’s Championship
Match 6: New Age Lady Killers (Drew Parkland & Daniel Sinn) vs. American Airforce (Ace Bennett & Tom Gerrard) vs. No Limit (Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro)A crazy match at first started with only 2 men in the ring then turned into an all out war. Amforce hit many crazy spots including stereo 450 splashes on No Limit. But in the end the Lady Killers picked up the win with the Pin Pointer on Naito.
Winner and Still Duo’s Champions: New Age Lady Killers (Drew Parkland & Daniel Sinn)SNW Championship
Main Event: Mike Bockwinkel vs. Chris HammersThe main event was set Amy Lee was at ringside (for the 3rd time) cheering on Bockwinkel while the fans cheered for the former champ Hammers. After some hard hitting to kick off they started with their suplexes and slams. This wasn’t a classic match but it seemed like a good main event. The Bockwinkel Special (Piledriver) wasn’t strong enough for the win but then LyNN came out but Evan Pagano ran out and took LyNN into the crowd. After another 10 minutes of action Bockwinkel hit The Bockwinkel Special: Championship Edition (Package Piledriver) to retain the belt.
