Home Sweet HomeSNW kicks off their return show (not counting the Chikara show) with the Snow Wrestling Academy Students in a battle royal to determine who will face Student Cup Holder next week.
Dark Match: Battle RoyalAn ok match, battle royals are not the best match to showcase talent but they put on an ok match. However it the match did showcase one talent, Tom Felix who climbed the ropes but slipped landing crotch first on the top rope then falling to the floor eliminating himself. The final 2 were Alex Diamond and Cody Rejaro. Diamond won after eliminating Rejaro.
Winner: Alex DiamondAlex Diamond will be facing Mike Hogan for the Students Cup in one week. The main show then started with two students…well graduated students in their first official main card match.
Match 1: The Real Hart Foundation (Kevin & Gavin Hart) vs. Britain’s Finest (James Simmons & Jordan Devine)The Harts looked really good and with some more wins like this could become a threat in the Duo’s division. Kevin looked better than Gavin but it was too early to tell yet. Simmons and Devine had made multiple mistakes, which led to a 450 Splash/ Diving Headbutt combo.
Winners: The Real Hart Foundation (Kevin & Gavin Hart)Kevin: Ladies and Gentlemen you are witnesses to the beginning of the 2 greatest careers in professional wrestling. We are Harts wrestling is in our blood. We can look back at our predecessors and extract the weaknesses we are the elite of the elite, the best of the best the Real Hart Foundation.
After this Simmons and Devine argued before Devine pushed Simmons off his feet.
Match 2: Steven Kagemann vs. Super ExtremeExtreme didn’t stand a chance, Kagemann has a new born fire which ripped though his opponent. With his stiff kicks and his high flying offence Extreme was quickly destroyed with the Fire Tornado (Modded Shooting Star Press)
Winner: Steven KagemannMatch 3: Ace Bennet vs. AssassinWhat seemed on paper as a jobbing match turned into a good match, Assassin showed real skill here and kept up with Bennet putting on a highly competitive match-up. Bennet even hit the Shining Wizard, which couldn’t put the masked man away. In the end Bennett hit the Syracuse Dropped (Reverse Frankensteiner) for the 3 count.
Winner: Ace BennetAfter the match Assassin held the hand out to Bennet who accepted, showing that Assassin has turned face.
Youth Culture (Matt Spade and Sam Kineval) then came out with the Duo’s titles, which aren’t officially theirs.
Matt: Look we are out here in this horrible town (large response) to crown ourselves the official Duo’s Champions
Sam: Your right Matt, see we’ve been holding onto these titles for weeks now and no-one has been able to take them off us doesn’t that clearly show that we should be the Duos Champions? And what about Parkland, because of us he can’t walk straight.
Matt: He couldn’t before
Sam: How can he be represent this company as a champion when he can’t even wrestle?
Owner Zachary Miller walks out and enters the ring with Youth Culture
Miller: Your right boys I agree and I thank you for bringing this to my attention. So as of today you’re new Duos…
Miller is interrupted by the Duos Champions, Drew Parkland and Daniel Sinn who enter the ring.
Sinn: Miller you know as well as I do you can’t strip us of the title without giving us a chance to wrestle.
Miller: But Daniel, there is no way Parkland can wrestle
Sinn: I’m still standing
Miller: Ok, ok how about this next week it will be Youth Culture against The New Age Lady Killers for the Duo’s titles and if that cast isn’t off your in there all alone.
Sinn nods his head in agreement
Miller: But right now you guys better get ready Daniel your taking on Matt Spade right now
Match 4: Daniel Sinn vs. Matt SpadeSinn dominated for most of the match with and power and size advantage. Kineval interfered numerous times either pulling Spade’s leg on the rope or distracting the referee however Sinn remained concentrated on his opponent. Then as it looked like Sinn was going for the Original Sinn (Tiger Driver 91) Kineval attacked Parkland at ringside! Sinn exited to the outside and helped his partner back onto the chair only to enter the ring, get low blowed and pinned.
Winner: Matt SpadeAfterwards Youth Culture (Matt Spade and Sam Kineval) beat down Sinn while Parkland could only watch due to his injured leg. Kineval then laid the titles on Sinn saying that he’ll have them back next week.
Match 5: Patrick Everson w) Edward Colgate vs. Bret ThomasThomas was pumped up for this after Everson interfered twice in Thomas’ matches. However Everson was hesitant about stepping in the ring with Thomas this only fuelled Thomas’ fire. Big Powerhouse moves throughout and with both men being former accomplished amateur wrestlers we saw some awesome mat work. Thomas looked to have Everson beat then Edward Colgate, Everson’s manager attacked Thomas causing a DQ.
Winner by DQ: Bret ThomasEverson and Colgate beat down Thomas and you could tell this was far from over.
Backstage we see Revolution X (Mike Bockwinkel, Safu, LyNN and Amy Lee) and SNW Owner Zachary Miller all talking about the Warfare match.
Miller: So your ok now Mike
Bockwinkel: Yes of course tis but a scratch
LyNN: I though it was more than that, you were screaming
Bockwinkel: Oh you are funny LyNN
LyNN: No really you were bleeding buckets, you passed out from the loss of blood
Bockwinkel: Shut up LyNN
Miller: So do you think you can trust Hammers tonight
Bockwinkel: Well he had my back at Warfare…
LyNN: And look were that got you
Bockwinkel: Haven’t you got a match to prepare for?
Miller: Yes you have a handicap against Edwards, good luck boys
Bockwinkel: Indeed, we can’t have a repeat of Warfare, you must take him out
2 on 1 Handicap Match
Match 6: Henry Edwards vs. Revolution X (Safu & LyNN)Owner Zachary Miller even came out to watch this match just to see Edwards in pain after winning the Warfare match. Edwards started off well, he and LyNN had some good moved then the numbers turned to his disadvantage. Edwards was then sent to the outside in front of Owner Zachary Miller, Edwards got up and Miller fell to the ground then the referee saw this and called for the bell saying he assaulted a official.
Winners by DQ: Revolution X (Safu & LyNN)Edwards was still quite weak but still wanted to fight, he took the chair Milled had been sitting on and went into the ring laying into both Safu and LyNN. They soon exited after a few shots, they helped Miller and made their way to the exit. Meanwhile Edwards gave out a large roar as the fans went crazy.
Main Event: Mike Bockwinkel & Chris Hammers vs. Jack Powers & Jacobs RylerA pretty good match they teased the fans with multiple spots, which looked like Bockwinkel and Hammers would start pounding in on each other however this didn’t happen. Hammers was keeping away from Powers as much as he could always tagging out when Powers entered. Then Mike was knocked down and he had no place to go. Then on the outside Amy-Lee low blowed Ryler (standing on the apron) This allowed Bockwinkel to recover and double team Powers with Hammers leading to a win after the The Bockwinkel Special: Championship Edition (Package Piledriver)
Winners: Mike Bockwinkel & Chris HammersThe two men and Amy made their exit and they both smiled at each other. Hammers then looked over at Bock’s SNW Championship and continued smiling back at Bockwinkel.
