No Dark Match to kick off instead the new Students Cup holder X Jack comes to the ring with his stable mates Zeke and Vincent Valentino.
X Jack: I said that I would win the Students Cup and I did now a new reign of terror will begin in SNW.
Before Jack can continue rapper Tom Felix comes out and enters the ring.
Felix: Yo dogg its T to the O to the M make some noise!
Instead all Felix gets is boo’s and multiple ‘You suck’ shouts
Felix: You people don’t know talent when it is standing right in front of you!
The big Zeke then picks up Felix and slams him to the mat in a double handed Chokeslam. X Jack then leaves the ring with Zeke and Vincent, X Jack isn’t the best on mic but he’s slowly improving. The main show begins with some Rise Against music, former SWA student Mike Hogan comes to the ring with a mic.
Hogan: Last week everybody witnessed El Tiger somehow pulling out a victory which we all know is a fluke. How can some masked cat beat me? A well toned, handsome, amazing wrestler. Tonight I’ll prove that Tiger was very lucky to win his match last week and this week the winner of the match will be…Mike…Hogan.
Match 1: Mike Hogan vs. El Tiger
This match seemed to flow better than last weeks match not by much but just a little better. I can see Hogan slowly moving his way up the ladder and eventually challenging for FUSE title. Tiger on the other hand seems to be just to put others over which he does well but maybe it would be nice to see him in a tag team to see how he does. Tiger was in the same position as last week and went for the roll up only for Hogan to roll though and put his legs on the ropes.
Winner: Mike Hogan
Hogan quickly left as Tiger tried to tell the referee that Hogan’s legs were on the ropes. Good booking by the SNW team it’s a nice way to introduce Hogan into SNW and builds up well for a final match.
Match 2: Carson Clark vs. Grizzly Redwood
ROH and Chikara’s Littlest Lumber Jack Grizzly Redwood made a special appearance in SNW facing off against one half of the AirDevils with the other half at ringside. Grizzly played a heel but wasn’t getting much heat, Clark on the other hand was doing a great job with his highflying move set. After dodging the 100th double axe handle by Grizzly jumping to the top rope then swiftly diving off in a Swan Dive DDT.
Winner: Carson Clark
Tom Gerard then entered the ring to celebrate with his partner until Grizzly’s Chikara tag partner Brodie Lee entered the ring and stood against the AirDevils who looked like ants compared to him. He big booted Clark then lifted Gerard above his head before throwing him to the outside. Lee then helped up his partner and the two left together.
Match 3: Jason Williams vs. Jordan Devine
Alicia Bennet came out with Devine as usual. Williams kept going for big impact moves but Devine tried to ground him by working over his left leg. A good midcard bout both men are showing signs of improvement especially Jason who has improved since working in Dragon Gate. Williams goes for Shooting Star Leg Drop but Alicia pushes him when he isn’t looking sending him into the Devinity (Cutthroat Suplex) for the 3-count.
Winner: Jordan Devine
Jordan and Alicia quickly left while Jason challenged him to get back in the ring. It seems this is far from over. We then go backstage for a DVD exclusive Evan Pagano is tying up his boots giving a little piece to camera about his match later tonight when Steven Kagemann comes running in. Kagemann takes him down then punches away at him. After throwing him around the locker room he takes him into the hallway slamming him into the walls. Kagemann then throws Evan over a table before students surround him stopping him from any more damage.
Match 4: Chris Hammers vs. Evan Pagano
Pagano didn’t show up due to the attack mentioned above although the live crowd didn’t know and where disappointed when Pagano no showed. Hammers had his arm raised and gave a quick promo instead talking about how Revolution X is rising back up.
Winner by No Show: Chris Hammers
Intermission. The Main Event was announced as Henry Edwards vs. Austin Aries for the SNW World Championship after what went down last week, it got a decent pop from the crowd.
Match 5: Revolution X (Safu & LyNN) vs. Jack Powers and Bret Thomas
Although opponents last week Powers and Thomas teamed up this week, at first it was a very even match up until Chris Hammers and Amy Lee got involved leading to Thomas being isolated form making the tag. Since Hammers took back over RevX they have been doing very well, Thomas eventually made the hot tag to Powers who cleared house until Hammers grabbed his leg leading to him turning around into LyNN who hit him with a Bridging German Suplex for the 3-count.
Winners: Revolution X (Safu & LyNN)
Revolution X then made their exit all with smiles on their faces things are looking up for the stable.
No.1 Contenders for Duo’s Championships
Match 6: New Age Lady Killers (Daniel Sinn & Drew Parkland) vs. The Real Hart Foundation (Kevin & Gavin Hart)
Some great tag action with quick tags and multiple near falls. SNW’s tag division is getting better and better we are seeing the best tag matches we have ever seen in SNW. Parkland hit a cutter on the apron on Gavin wiping both men out leaving Sinn and Kevin in the ring putting on 5 minutes of great action. Hart then was able to lock in the Sharpshooter and it seemed like the end for the Lady Killers but Parkland broke it up. This left Kevin all alone for the Pin Pointer giving the Lady Killers the win.
Winner and No.1 Contender to the Duo’s Titles: New Age Lady Killers (Daniel Sinn & Drew Parkland)
Match 7: Henry Edwards vs. Austin Aries
The crowd were wild for this match and hoping for a classic and it didn’t disappoint the match lived up to. It was a back and forth contest including brawling, perfect submission counters and even some highflying from both men in the form of a Heat Seeking Missile from Aries and later a Diving Cross Body from the larger Edwards. Aries locked in the Last Chancery Edwards showed true power by getting to his feet while still in the lock before breaking it. Edwards went for the H.E. Driver (Double Underhook brainbuster) but Aries reversed it. However the champ then fell prey to a Brainbuster which nearly ended the match if it wasn’t for the shoulder popping up just before the 3 count. With Edwards still down Aries went to the top however Edwards used all the rest of his power to get up and push Aries to the floor leading to a count- out for Aries.
Winner and Still SNW World Champion: Henry Edwards
A small minority of fans didn’t like the count-out finish but most of the crowd were on there feet clapping due to the 25 minutes of action before it. Mike Bockwinkel and SNW Owner Zachary Miller then came out to check on Aries who was riving in pain on the outside. As Edwards stumbled to his feet in the ring Bockwinkel jumped in and hit him with the ROH World Title. Aries then slowly entered the ring with Miller and the three held their arms up in the air.
