The tourney is going real well here. I'm glad that not all outside talent advanced. Happy that Ace advanced in the tourney with a win over two great competitors in Hart and Hogan. I honestly see it being Hammers/Quack/Bennett in the finals and I hope that I'm right. I just hope that Quack nor Strong win the belt. Bennett/Pagano in the second round should be great once again.

A New Coronation (Night Two)The announcer kicks off the show talking about all six remaining competitors and how they have to win their respective single matches then the main event triple threat to become SNW World Champion. 1) Chris Hammers vs. Roderick Strong: An awesome brawling match here which isn’t something you see often in SNW but is becoming increasingly popular. Both men were feeling the effects of this hard hitting match early on. The Irish man had a chest full of chop marks and nearly took a fall following a Death By Roderick. Hammers also got locked in the Stronghold but was able to reverse it into a small package to advance. Roderick tried to tell the referee that his foot was on the rope but the ref couldn’t see it so he made the count. Hammers and Amy Lee then exited motioning that they only need one more win. 2) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Mike Quackenbush: Another amazing match as Bockwinkel works a old school hybrid style which works amazingly well with the “master of a thousand holds.” Its good to note there was no boo’s towards one-half of the Duos Champion because they were so immersed in the match. The end came when Bockwinkel went for the Bockwinkel Special Edition but was expertly countered into a Lightening Lock Beta which Bock could only tap out to. Making Mike Quackenbush advance. 3) Ace Bennet vs. Evan Pagano: This was the third match these two have faced off in. With Bennett getting a shock win in the first then the second going to no contest. This match-up wasn’t as good as the previous incarnations as it wasn’t given as much time like it would in a main event spot and both men were holding back a little as they knew they could be wrestling later. It was still a great match and led to a Top rope Calling revered in mid-air into a Syracuse Dropped. Intermission. The crowd were still quite shocked by the awesome match ending possibly the best ending in SNW history. The man in a sandwich board and covered face came out again with two letters this time saying ‘R’ and ‘t’ 4) New Age Lady Killers and Jack Powers vs. Revolution X and Bret Thomas: A decent six-man tag match which came as a result of last nights attack on Powers. It looks like the Lady Killers are starting a feud with RevX which is a good thing because they gel pretty well. Rivals Powers and Thomas being in the same ring also was great to see as they took each other out of the match by fighting in the crowd. In the end LyNN fell to a Pin Pointer from the former Duos Champions. Sam Kineval then came out and said that the no.1 contender to the FUSE title, Kevin Hart is at home recovering from his ladder accident. Kineval said not to worry he’s brought his own opponent. 5) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Doink the Clown: This was nothing more than a quick job. The fans got a decent pop from Doink hitting a few moves then going for the Whoopie Cushion but Kineval completely dominated from there on hitting a Chaos Death Shot to retain. Kineval got on the mic again and pretended he heard footsteps “What? I hear something from backstage. Could it be another challenger?” 6) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Steve Lombardi: Kineval’s second opponent for the night was the famous jobber the Brooklyn Brawler. Unlike Doink Steve had no offence and fell to a Busaiku Knee. Kineval grabbed the mic once again. “What? Can you hear that? Its footsteps from backstage. It must be another opponent.” However it seemed like this wasn’t what Kineval planned as Jason Williams came out and said he was disgracing his friend Kevin Hart and the title he so badly wants. As Jason marched to the ring Kineval screamed “What have you done to Gillberg?” 7) FUSE: Sam Kineval vs. Jason Williams: As you would expect this has much more offence from the challenger. However Kineval purposely stalled to play mind games with Jason. However this didn’t pay off as Jason took an awesome dive to the outside. Kineval was able to reverse a superplex attempt into a Welcome to Kineval-ville Motherf*cker to pick up the victory. Kineval then grabbed his title and headed to the back after having enough title defences for one day. 8) SNW: Mike Quackenbush vs. Chris Hammers vs. Ace Bennett: As you would expect this was an amazing match. In an amazing spot Hammers hit his signature Running Powerbomb on Quack and while Quack was in mid-air Bennett crashed down with a Springboard 450. The end came as Hammers had Quack locked in a Half leg Boston Crab (which applied pressure on Quack’s previously injured back) while Bennett went for a springboard. Hammers pulled him down to the mat then Quack thrusted Hammers from the ring. With Bennett down Quack locked in the Chikara Special to make Bennett tap. MOTN. After the match Quack was handed the SNW World Championship as the fans went into a frenzy in a chant for “Quack.” Both Hammers and Bennett left looking very disappointed with what had gone down. For the first time a championship has gone into the hands of an outsider.

NEWSAt the recent SNW show ‘Lightning’ Mike Quackenbush won the SNW World Heavyweight Championship after the former champion, Henry Edwards vacated the title due to injury. Although some feel that it is an unpopular choice to put a title on a ‘outsider’ some feel that Quack can only add to the prestige of the title. The main reason why SNW decided to put the title on Quackenbush is because they felt like their top challengers, Evan Pagano and Ace Bennett are not quite ready for a title run. Other choices like Chris Hammers were considered but they felt it would be better if Quack won the belt. The feeling is that Quackenbush will hold the title until SNW feels that either Pagano or Bennett are ready for a World Title win.

Well, I guess I understand the reasoning for Ace or Pagano not getting the belt just yet but I really hope that Quack's run isn't longer than 3 or 4 defenses. I could see a really good Hammers/Quack feud coming up though seeing as though Hammers was the one who didn't take the fall in the match. Great show overall honestly though. Just hoping Ace will get a title run soon.

Lightning Strikes TwiceMike Quackenbush opens the show with the SNW World title on his shoulder. He gets a tremendous response from the crowd. He talks about when he came back to SNW with Hallowicked and Frightmare and knew from that day on he wanted to compete more in SNW. So he entered himself in the World title tournament and now he is the champion. Ace Bennett comes out and complains that an outsider should never have had a chance to win the belt. Evan Pagano interrupts, congratulates Quack and tells him that he’ll have the belt soon. 1) X Jack vs. Matt Spade: Jack faced Spade’s partner, Gavin Hart (who was at ringside) a few weeks ago and got a win. This week was very much the same. Jack now a face pulled out a few of his usual moves which got a small pop followed by hitting the X for the win. 2) Diamond Fortune vs. Your Mom: This was a good even match with both teams getting equal offence. The middle section had Drake and Alex keep Baz from tagging in his Your Mom team-mate. After getting the hot tag into Cody is wasn’t long before Diamond Fortune took the numbers advantage with a Frogsplash/Neckbreaker combo. Your Mom made their way to the back while Diamond Fortune called out Jason Williams. Williams called the duo ‘Punks’ who share a brain cell between them. Drake asked Williams what is he going to do about it? Jason responded by attacking Drake but Alex jumped on Jason leading to a 2 on 1 attack on Williams. 3) The Gentlemen’s Club and Steven Kagemann and AirDevils and Jacob Ryler: Like the last match this started off even then Nick and Bock kept Clark from making the tag. The fans didn’t seem interested in this match as it seemed like the last match. This was until Clark made the tag, which led to multiple highflying monuvers from everyone apart from the Gentlemen’s Club. They took advantage of these high risk moves as Bock hit the Bockwinkel Special. Intermission. The man in the sandwich board returned with more letters. The new letters on the board were a ‘o’ and ‘III’ The New Age Lady Killers were backstage and they cut a promo against Revolution X. They said that every week over the next three weeks a member of Revolution X will be in singles action against either one of the Killers or Jack Powers. Starting tonight. 4) Drew Parkland vs. Safu: This was the first match in the Lady Killers and Powers vs. Revolution X single matches and was a rather good way to kick off. Neither men are known for their singles work but they did well. Parkland picked up the victory following a move we haven’t seen in quite some time The Confederacy Choke. 5) Mike Quackenbush and Evan Pagano vs. Ace Bennett and Sam Kineval: This was a great way to end off the evening. Because of the low number of matches this was given plenty of time. Out of the two teams Bennett and Kineval seemed the most confident teaming together as Quack and Pagano had some problems. The end came as Bennett took Pagano out with a hurricanrana from inside the ring to the floor! Quack got the pin in the ring after a lucha style roll-up on Kineval. MOTN

Riot Act LOL. I just wish that Bock's title chase wasn't just forgotten. That's not the Bockwinkel way.

Wow this is very interesting. I'm liking the whole Ace lone wolf character, as it appears thats what you are going for when Ace turned on Kineval. Maybe it was for revenge for taking the FUSE belt though. Good show with pretty good matches throughout.

Court Case1) Jason Williams, X Jack and Your Mom vs. Diamond Fortune and House of Cards: A HUGE way off this show with 8-man tag team action. The main story in this match was Williams against Diamond Fortune as they have been feuding for a while now. X Jack (who is starting to get on a roll lately) got the pin for his team after hitting the X on Gavin Hart. After the match X Jack took the mic. The fans seemed to like his new face turn. He said after being disgraced by Revolution X he will now take vengeance. Jack said he’s building his way up to RevX in particular Chris Hammers. 2) Steven Kagemann vs. Carson Clark: An average match between the two with lots of high risk moves. The action was mostly even but Kagemann had a little advantage. Sadly for Kagemann his hardcore nature got the best of him as he got DQ’ed for using a chair. Backstage Ace Bennett was surrounded by SNW heels. Bennett gave an inspirational speech about ‘The Outsider’ Mike Quackenbush. He said he was disgusted by how Quack is getting all the opportunities such as a shot in the World Title Tournament and now tonight a shot at the Duos Titles. The heels roared at the end of Ace’s Speech. 3) Jacob Ryler vs. Mike Hogan: This was a surprisingly good match, Hogan really shone from this match. He kept the pace quick and played his heel role well. It just showed that he was ready for a FUSE title run. Hogan countered Ryler’s suplex attempt into a Futurism. Intermission. The man with the Sandwich Board was back this time with a ‘C’ added to the board. Most fans of SNW know what it means but it’s a nice touch by SNW to build up to their big event. No.1 Contender to the FUSE Title Kevin Hart came out and called out the FUSE Champ Sam Kineval. After entering Hart called Kineval a coward for tipping the ladder. Kineval said he did “what he had to do to keep the title.” Hart said he’s finally using his One Wish from 6 weeks ago next week in a Submission Match for the FUSE title. 4) Daniel Sinn vs. LyNN: This was the second match in the Revolution X vs. Lady Killer and Powers feud. Last week the Lady Killers went one up and this week LyNN was looking for revenge. This was another good match but not quite as good as its previous. LyNN evened up the score at 1:1 with a German Suplex. After the match Safu, Hammers and Amy Lee came out. Safu and LyNN attacked Sinn until Powers and Parkland made the same. Next week it will be the decider as RevX leader Chris Hammers faces Jack Powers. 5) DUOS: The Gentlemen’s Club vs. Evan Pagano and Mike Quackenbush: This match came about after Pagano and SNW World Champ Mike Quackenbush displayed good team skills in their win last week. All men worked very well with each other in a old school technical style. Bockwinkel wanted revenge on Quack after eliminating him from the World Title Tournament. Bock was able to get this after distraction from Ace Bennett leading to a Bockwinkel Special. MOTN

NewsIt appears that this is the poster for the next SNW show after this was posted on SNW’s website straight after the last show. The date reveals two separate dates one on the Friday and another on the Saturday. These weekend shows have a theme of the legendary rocker Jimi Hendrix. Both shows are named after two of his most famous songs, ‘Foxy Lady’ and ‘Purple Haze’ respectively. Already announced for the ‘Hendrix weekend’ is the long awaited FUSE title match between Sam Kineval and Kevin Hart. This FUSE title match-up can only be won by Submission after the stipulation was announced by Hart at the last show. Another match announced is a Four-Way to determine the No.1 Contender to Mike Quackenbush’s SNW World Title. Ace Bennett, Evan Pagano, Mike Bockwinkel and Nick Jacobs will face off on the first night to see who will face Quackenbush on the second night. In addition to this in honour of the Hendrix classic and now SNW show name ‘Foxy Lady’ there will be a women’s match. This will be the first women’s match in quite some time for SNW. Revolution X’s Valet Amy Lee will face an opponent of the New Age Lady Killers choosing thus continuing their feud with RevX. With the heavily rumoured Riot Act returning for its third show it could mean the return for another SNW staple, the Warfare Match. It’s expected this is where the Revolution X/ New Age Lady Killers will lead to. SNW will also be holding a big event in the future to celebrate its second anniversary.
