Riot Act 3We cannot be sure of having something to live for unless we are willing to die for it- Che GuevaraFormer two-time SNW World Heavyweight Champion, Henry Edwards came out in a suit to a thunderous applause from the SNW fans in the FUSE Arena. Edwards welcomed us to the show and introduced a short highlight package of SNW from the beginning which was shown at the awards ceremony last night. As Edwards left the crowd chanted ‘Please come back.’ Edwards took the mic and said ‘Don’t you worry, when I’m healthy nothing is going to stop me from getting back in that ring, doing what I love!’ which received an even louder ovation.
1)
Carson Clark vs. Tom Gerard vs. Cody Rejaro vs. Gavin Hart vs. Matt Spade vs. Jordan Devine: This match was changed from what was scheduled after Cody’s partner Baz Hepburn pulled out. Instead this turned into a six-man one fall to finish match. This match came with a surprise with the return of former Duos Champion, Jordan Devine. Devine returned in spectacular form after hitting the Moon Over Miami on Gerard.
After all six men had left SNW’s resident psycho, Steven Kagemann came out and told Dreamer that he doesn’t want to wait all night to fight him when they can do it now. Alice in Chains kicked in over the PA system and Tommy Dreamer came out. They started fighting straight away and brawled in and out of the ring and though the crowd. The fans loved the brawl which ended when Dreamer threw Kagemann off some scaffolding though some conveniently placed tables below. Dreamer used his trademark pose amongst crowd.
2)
Jason Williams and Jacob Ryler vs. Diamond Fortune: This match had been leading up to for weeks and it did kinda disappoint. The match was above average but the feud had been so heated the fans expected a little bit more. No doubt this isn’t the blow-off feud yet. Diamond Fortune picked on Jason who has been injured recently but didn’t do enough as Jason came back with a Pyscho Driver.
Chris Hammers, LyNN and Safu known as Revolution X were backstage. Hammers talked about SNW’s first ever show and how he and Safu started RevX with a mission to take over and be above everyone. Hammers said tonight they carry out their mission by painting the walls of the cage red with Lady Killer blood.
3)
DUOS: Gentlemen’s Club vs. Teddy Hart and Jack Evans: In an unusual twist the Duos titles match was placed lower down the card. This shows how strong the rest of the card is. This worked as this pumped up the crowd going into intermission. Before the match Bockwinkel and Jacobs voiced their displeasure about facing their opponents. "Tonight, Nick and I are giving our opponents a wrestling lesson, courtesy of The Gentlemen's Club, and by ‘wrestling’ I'm not talking about that gymnast garbage, but the actual art of professional wrestling. So keep the moonsaults to a minimum, and Ted, try to keep your lunch down.” Unlike the Club the fans loved Evans and Hart who worked their usual aerial style but it could not get the three count. Nick Jacobs got the win with his legs on the ropes to retain.
Intermission. Most of the SNW wrestlers who performed in the first half came out to meet the crowd at intermission. It was a nice change to usual intermissions. Cody Rejaro also tried to entertain the crowd by singing “Don’t stop believing” by Journey in the ring, he was later joined by Diamond Fortune on air guitar and air drums respectively.
We see a quick backstage vignette where a referee a standing between Revolution X Leader Chris Hammers and Jack Powers. The referee holds his hand out to reveal a coin, he says whoever calls it gets the advance for their team at Warfare. The referee flips the coin and both men call. Jack Powers calls correctly and so gets the advantage going into Warfare.
4)
FUSE: Kevin Hart vs. Sam Kineval: Both men got loud responses from the audience although entered with a parade of cheers while the other came out to a mountain of boo’s. This was their best match yet with the action being mostly contested on the mat. Kinevals kicks gave him the advantage at first but Hart’s technical ability overcame this. A missed 450 off the apron looked like Kineval was going to win the belt but he failed to capitalise and Hart locked in the Sharpshooter to retain.
A video package then shows of the three competitors for the World Title, all in separate rooms giving their thoughts on the world title match-up. Bennett mentions that the triple threat is the most deadly of all matches in SNW because three SNW World titles have changed hands in triple threat matches. Pagano said as much as he would like to he’s not going to focus solely on Bennett because Quackenbush will take advantage. Quack talks about how he is considered the favourite due his experience however Quack says this doesn’t count tonight as both Pagano and Bennett have wrestling skills beyond their years. The package ends with all three men saying they will walk out with the title.
Meanwhile, the cage has been set up for Warfare III. The rules of the match are explained by the ring announcer.

5)
Warfare III: New Age Lady Killers, Jack Powers and X Jack vs. Revolution X and Bret Thomas: The match started with Daniel Sinn and LyNN. As you would expect from these technical gods this Warfare match started with some great technical wrestling. After 3 minutes Drew Parkland entered. During the next three minutes the Lady Killers hit some amazing double team moves with aid from the cage. This stopped with Safu entered and started to fight back. The action was pretty even until Jack Powers entered.
Safu and LyNN fought violently against the numbers advantage but it gave in near the end of the 3 minutes. This all changed when former SNW World Champion, Chris Hammers entered. Although hated by the crowd he was able to inspire his teammates and take the advantage
eliminating Parkland and nearly getting Sinn to submit. RevX worked on Parkland’s previously injured leg which left him in agony on the outside. The Last member of the face team was next as X Jack entered. Instead of entering via the entering from the door Jack climbed the cage then hit a Diving Cross Body off the top onto Revolution X below!
Safu was then eliminated after a top rope Power Suplex which nearly dented the ring. Hammers speared Powers on the outside which opened the cage door. As Captain's Hammers and Powers battled outside the cage LyNN and Sinn battled in the ring. Meanwhile X Jack was back on top of the cage and dived to the outside at Hammers! However Hammers pulled Powers in the way and the teammates clashed into each other. Hammers then
elimanated X Jack but was unable to pin Powers. The last entrant then came as Bret Thomas walked to the ring. Hammers held the door open for him and wanted to lock Powers (who was still down) out.
However as Thomas went to enter he smacked the door in Hammers face busting him open in the process. Hammers stumbled back and shouted at him. "I don't need ANYONE!" Thomas shouted as he started to leave, then saw Powers getting to his feet. Thomas hit the Fall on Powers before leaving. Hammers locked the door leaving Powers on the outside and with LyNN worked over Sinn who was also now bleeding. Powers got to his feet but was unable to enter but luckily Sinn found enough strength to fight back and open the cage door. Powers immediately took advantage
eliminating LyNN leaving Hammers all alone against Sinn and Powers.
As Hammers was cornered Jordan Devine ran out and attacked Sinn and Powers. Devine helped up Hammers then
eliminated a very weak Daniel Sinn with a Devine Intervention. As Jordan and Hammers shook hands it became obvious that Devine had re-joined RevX and taken Bret Thomas’ spot he walked out on. Hammers had endured much punishment but was still able to punch away at Power’s bloodied forehead. Devine then helped Hammers hit the Last Minute Orders to lastly
eliminate Powers giving Revolution X the win.
LyNN and Safu came out along with a returning Amy Lee. Amy got a microphone and joined Devine and Hammers in the ring. As they entered LyNN and Safu shook hands with Jord while Amy hugged him. Hammers remained on his knees while the rest of Revolution X surrounded him. Here’s what Hammers had to say:
“The first thing I would like to say is welcome back Jordan Devine (claps all-round from RevX, boo’s from the audience) When I agreed to sign Bret Thomas as the fourth member I had my doubts. The guy doesn’t even show up half the time, and when he does he attacks the wrong guy”
Hammers bloodied and weak stopped as if he couldn’t continue. Safu helped him up and Jordan took the mic.
“I think everyone has forgotten what Revolution X is all about. Hammers created this group to take control of SNW and recently we haven’t been doing that. But tonight, that all changes. Now we will live up to our name, from now this is a Revolution!”
The main event was up next and the cage was disassembled during the Revolution X promo. All three men made their separate entrances and for the first time since SNW was in Japan we got streamers for all three men with Quack getting the most naturally.
6)
SNW: Mike Quackenbush vs. Evan Pagano vs. Ace Bennett: This match had a lot to live up to after such a great show. Although you would think this match would kill the crowd after the Warfare match it worked well as the slow story telling Warfare mood changed quickly into the fast paced main event. The crowd were going wild for Quack, loving Pagano and absolutely hating Bennett. All men got very close calls; Quack with the QDriver, Pagano with the Sickick and Bennett with the Syracuse Dropped. Right up to the last minute it was unclear who was going to walk away with the title until Bennett went for his second Syracuse Dropped. However after he hit Award winning finisher Quackenbush locked the Inverted Chikara Special on Bennett eventually making him tap out.
As Quackebush rose with the title in his hand he saw the crowd on their feet clapping. There was a small group of people who boo’ed at Quack retaining but they were covered by the cheers. Both Bennett and Pagnano made their way to the back as Quack celebrated and met with the crowd.
