Student Report #5Hot off the heels of SNW’s first PPV here comes a new Student report. Lots of work this week has been going into the student matches for the pre-show of the iPPV. Both matches went well and some students really showed some promise. A surprise was in store for the students on the day as they met the legendary Terry Funk. Funk gave some great advice and shared some old stories. Funk has said he will defiantly be back in the near future. Anyway back on track only little improvements from two weeks ago. 1. Riley Shamrock: (Up 1)Shamrock has really stepped up his game after falling to second behind Quinn. It pushed the best out of him and thats why he won at “One Night in Philly.” His quick learning is working very well, could be out of the student ranks first. Brawling:C Power:D Technical:C Submissions:C Speed:D Charisma:E Gimmick:F Attitude:A Overall:C2. Jonny Quinn: (Down 1)Quinn falls one point but I don’t expect it to stop him. It was a good two weeks for Quinn but Shamrock was slightly better. However look out for Quinn he has something planned to put him back at number one. Brawling:D Power:D Technical:C Submissions:C Speed:C Charisma:E Gimmick:D Attitude:A Overall:C3. Travis Cantrell: (Up 1)Cantrell bounces back up to third space after pushing himself hard in the gym and the ring. He’s recently shown that he has what it takes to hand with Shamrock and Quinn. If he can keep this up he might move up again. Brawling:F Power:F Technical:D Submissions:E Speed:C Charisma:E Gimmick:E Attitude:A Overall:C-4. Zakk Static: (Up 1)Static climbs one spot once again despite his all-round bad attitude. I suppose he’s getting a little better attitude wise but his ring work is improving rapidly and of course his mic work is best in the class that’s why he’s moved up. Brawling:C Power:D Technical:C Submissions:D Speed:D Charisma:C Gimmick:C Attitude:E Overall:D+5. Phenom: (Down 2)Phenom drops two spots after falling into bad habits. His attitude led to a fight which in turn led to his suspension from group training for a few days. Those few days were crucial and missing them resulted in his dramatic fall. Brawling:C Power:E Technical:D Submissions:D Speed:C Charisma:D Gimmick:D Attitude:C Overall:D6. Christopher Jackal: (-)Jackal stays at six which is neither good nor bad. It was a hard week to break into the top 5 but I expect him to push hard to get there next week. He’s talked about a possible name change to differ from the other Chris in the group. Brawling:C Power:E Technical:D Submissions:D Speed:D Charisma:E Gimmick:E Attitude:C Overall:D7. Enrique Rodriguez Jr: (Up 2)“Ricky” makes a big jump to number 7 after two great weeks of training. He is catching on well with certain phases and his work ethic is top notch. This kid really wants to succeed it’s just the language barrier is holding him back. Brawling:F Power:F Technical:D Submissions:E Speed:C Charisma:F Gimmick:F Attitude:A Overall:D-8. X Matt: (Down 1)Matt drops another spot after yet another average week. He started off well but has lacked that spark to start climbing the board. He still looks slightly sloppy in some moves which is keeping him down in position 8. Brawling:E Power:F Technical:E Submissions:E Speed:C Charisma:E Gimmick:F Attitude:B Overall:D-9. Zeke: (Up 1)Big Zeke gets away from bottom spot despite not doing that much. He was kind of lost this week with training focusing on the matches. He’ll get attention this week and a chance to show off his Fairy Trance thing gimmick. Brawling:C Power:C Technical:E Submissions:E Speed:F Charisma:D Gimmick:F Attitude:B Overall:E10. Christopher Kennedy Jones: (Down 1)Jones drops down one following two bad weeks. His attitude dropped back into its old ways and his current “born better than you gimmick” is too much like a Mike Bockwinkel rip off. His other idea is a golfer...no. Brawling:D Power:E Technical:D Submissions:D Speed:F Charisma:C Gimmick:E Attitude:E Overall:ELike I said earlier we didn’t exactly do much in the last two weeks apart from prepare our iPPV pre-show matches. All students will be going on tour with us to Canada. We are hoping for some special trainers along the way which should hopefully help all the students. We’re going to start letting the students develop their characters more in the shows. Marc Ryland

Vancouver, British ColumbiaDark Match) Riley Shamrock vs. X Matt: First SNW student match on Canadian soil was a decent one. Riley helped Matt look good and they stringed together a good short match. Riley continues his roll with a Ode to Shamrock. As Riley is celebrating, Johnny Quinn walks out by the entrance. He said that after being defeated by Shamrock he feels disgraced. So disgraced that he cannot show his face. He pulls out a mask and places it on. Riley takes the mic off him and laughs at his mask. Quinn responds with a head kick knocking out Riley. This student feud has only just began. The main show started with portion of the Canadian anthem playing. Our ring announcer welcomed the fans to SNW’s first show in Canada and announced that due to their FUSE title four way at “One Night in Philly” X Jack and AJ Matthews would not be appearing tonight. 1) Nick Jacobs vs. El Generico: The show kicked off with a great start with “Ole Ole” shouted over the P.A System and the fans leaping to their feet to welcome their very own El Generico. A great way to kick off the show and the tour with Generico working the crowd perfectly getting a win with a Brainbuster. 2) House of Cards vs. Cody Rejero and Jacob Ryler: Diamond and Spade represented the House of Cards in this match as they faced off against Cody and Ryler. Spade and Diamond worked well and with Gavin at ringside they had the advantage. A Neckbreaker by Diamond earned him the win. Henry Edwards came out to a great response (still not quite as good as Generico) he said that after winning at the iPPV he feels he should be next in line at what is rightfully his title. Chris Hammers walked out accompanied by LyNN and Devine. Hammers said Edwards is unworthy of a title shot. Edwards said to prove it by facing him right now. It was accepted. 3) Henry Edwards vs. Chris Hammers: As always when these two arch rivals lock up your guaranteed a match worth the admission price. It was fast, hard hitting and well wrestled. Amy Lee and LyNN just watched from ringside, Chris must have told them beforehand. Edwards got his long time rival in a Crossface and as he was about to tap LyNN ran in to break it up. LyNN began stomping away on Edwards as Hammers got back to his feet with help from Amy. Mike Hogan then ran out and took LyNN out of the ring. Amy and Hammers quickly escaped as Hogan checked on Edwards. At first Edwards thought Hogan was out to attack him but when he realised what happened he thanked him for his help. Intermission. It was announced that El Generico was just one of the special guest SNW will be having on tour. The tour schedule was announced along with when the double shot weekend will be, the schedule will be posted on the SNW website following this show. The Battle of Canada will take place later in the tour, details will be announced soon. 4) AirDevils vs. Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann: Surprisingly good tag team action. At first the much more experienced team of the AirDevils took advantage. Kagemann and Thomas teamed up recently and showed great chemistry and booked themselves together in a tag match tonight getting a win after their The Fall/Double Stomp combo they used a few weeks back. Straight after the match Thomas booted both Devils from the ring. Kagemann took the mic and said they were starting an team. Thomas spoke “For too long we have been held back. We are SNW originals and yet we don’t get treated like it. We’ve been partners, we’ve been enemies but now we are the next Duos champions.” 5) Jordan Devine vs. Drake Fortune vs. Jason Williams: FUSE Champion Kevin Hart came out to watch this match, he was still pretty banged up from the iPPV so he didn’t wrestle. Instead the winner of this match would challenge for his title next week. Decent match with some great spots. But after Colgate attacked Jason on the outside Drake pinned Devine with a small package. Mike Bockwinkel made his way out with a battered chair in hand. Bockwinkel said this is the chair he “killed” Red Dragon with. He said he brought it all the way to Canada just to show the fans. Bockwinkel said that after One Night in Philly they would not be seeing Dragon in a SNW ring ever again despite their agreed match at the next iPPV. 6) SNW: Ace Bennet vs. Daniel Sinn: Just before the match Ace Bennett complained that he has been told he has to defend his title both tonight and next week in Calgary. His opponents for these two defences will be the current Duos champions. Sinn took his turn at the title today and put on a great single performance against the champ. Ace’s Syracuse Dropped was stopped as Sinn pushed him off the top, Ace came right back up and hit a split second Syracuse Dropped out of nowhere for the 3-count. Good to be in Canada. Awesome that Quinn is donning the mask. This could lead to his main roster push, along with Shamrock. Generico vs. Jacobs sounds like a cool starter. The mini-promo from Bockwinkel seems a bit derranged. Like he's been hanging out with Steen...
Good first show in Canada. Check out the last TCW post, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Calgary, AlbertaDark Match) Jet Jaguar vs. Phenom: This was Quinn’s first match under the mask of his new gimmick and he was highly impressive. His character showed in the match which he had the upper hand of. Finishing off Phenom with a Jet Pack Driver. Post match Riley Shamrock runs out and they begin to fight around the ring. They break away and Riley charges at Jet who gets a big head kick knocking Riley to the floor once more. Dark Match) Travis Cantrell vs. Christopher Jackal vs. Enrique Rodriguez Jr vs. Zakk Static: This fourway had some decent action from all men. They have all improved since they started and only had small botches. Cantrell hit his first decent looking SSP but Zakk pulled him out of the ring and got the pin. Travis was upset at Zakk’s actions and believed he should have walked out with the win. Zakk said it isn’t about being the toughest it’s about being the smartest and he proved that tonight. Travis told him to put his intellect to the test with a match right now, Zakk walked away. FUSE Champion Kevin Hart came out to start the main show to a thunderous ovation as this is Hart’s hometown. Hart talked about his name and how he isn’t actually a Hart member but uses it out of respect and honour of the legendary Hart family who were brought up here in Calgary. This was ruined by Drake Fortune and Edward Colgate who reminded him he has a title match tonight, a title match that Hart was going to lose. 1) AirDevils vs. Super Smash Bros: Special guests on our Canada tour are Player Uno and Player Dos. They worked a hotly contested fast paced match with Gerard and Clark. There was also a little bit of comedy thrown in. The Pac-Man Fever game the SSB the win. Henry Edwards walked to the ring and said it was time that he got his title shot. Like last week he was interrupted but this time by Nick Jacobs. Jacobs said that Henry doesn’t deserve it as he’ll only get injured soon enough. Edwards told him to fight him and Jacobs accepted. 2) Henry Edwards vs. Nick Jacobs: A great match and its only the second match of the night, this could have easily been higher up the card but it was placed well as it ignited the crowd in this 20 plus minutes encounter. With just less than five minutes to go to a time limit Edwards drilled Jacobs with the HE Driver and locked in a Crossface for a submission win. 3) House of Cards vs. Daniel Sinn, X Jack and Jason Williams: The newly formed trio of the House of Cards were put to the test as they faced a team of SNW’s finest athletes. The teaming was a bit random but they worked pretty well together. Jason and Jack wowed the Canadians with their highflying but fell to a neckbreaker from Diamond. 4) FUSE: Kevin Hart vs. Drake Fortune: The action was nicely planned out with both men showing off a technical side to their repertoire. Hart eventually had enough of Colgate as hit him with a baseball slide. Hart looked dominant in the last few minutes ready to put Drake away. Hart went for top rope superplex but was distracted by Colgate who was complaining at Hart attacking him. As the referee sent Colgate to the back Fortune floated over in a sunset flip from the top rope getting a pin, then Drake put leant both legs on the ropes meaning Hart could not kick out. The referee was out of position to see and counted the fall. Straight after the match Drake began to celebrate, Edward Colgate remerged to hand his “Face of the Colgate Connection” his newly won FUSE Championship. Most of the fans were in shock and the fans who wasn’t were boo’ing heavily. Hart was complaining to the referee about his legs on the ropes. The referee could not reverse his decision as he did not see anything. Hart then went after Drake who saw the advancing Hart and quickly left the ring. Intermission. It was announced that the Super Smash Brothers will return later on in the tour. Announced for tonight was SNW Champion, Ace Bennett defending against one half of the Duos Champions, Drew Parkland. After what happened with the FUSE title we might see another new champion crowned here tonight. 5) Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann vs. Jacob Ryler and Cody Rejero: A good enough match but nothing too special. One of the highlights was Cody coming out before hand saying its his “homecoming” as well but he didn’t get a celebration at the start of the show. The team of Kagemann and Thomas looked strong and are becoming a big threat to the Duos Champions. They finished with their sick The Fall/Double Stomp combo. 6) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Mike Hogan: It was the battle of the Mike's with Bockwinkel taking on Hogan in a spirited affair. The action was good but not great they showed some good chemistry but it seemed like they were holding back. Possibly for a bigger encounter between the two. Bock hit the Bockwinkel Special but Hogan kicked out. As a disbelieved Bockwinkel went for another Red Dragon started to walk down the ring with a dented chair in hand. Hogan took advantage with a quick small package for the win. Following the match Hogan made a quick exit after a big win over the former SNW World Champion. Dragon slid in with the chair that Bock used to damage him at “One Night in Philly” and Bockwinkel exited from the ring on the opposite side. Dragon looked ultra pissed at Bockwinkel and without saying a word you knew what he wanted to say to Bockwinkel. 7) SNW: Ace Bennett vs. Drew Parkland: Last week Parkland’s tag partner Daniel Sinn had a chance at the belt but tonight it was the other half of the Duos Champions. It was a great way to end off the night which has had twists, turns and some great action. Parkland put up a tremendous effort against the champ and even locked in his Confederacy Choke only for Ace to pull himself to the ropes. It was Ace’s own submission the Muto Lock that made Drew tap and Ace add another title defence. Glad Quinn is now Jet Jaguar! Hm, strange to have Hart reveal he isn't a real family member. Id like to see a good Hogan /Bockwinkel feud in the future.

Winnipeg, ManitobaDark Match) Riley Shamrock vs. Zeke: Riley hit some wicked kicks to knock the big man and went to lock in the OTS but Zeke pushed away got up and slammed him to the mat for a shock 3 count. Post match Student Riley Shamrock (ranked first) was disappointed at his loss to Zeke who quietly exited. It seems he had his mind on something else and that something else could easily be Jet Jaguar. Dark Match) Christopher Kennedy Jones vs. X Matt: This match was surprisingly as good as the first with the advantage slipping back and forth. CKJ picked up the win following a quick Powerslam. 1) Cody Rejero vs. A.J Matthews: We kicked the main show right off with some good action from Canadia's own Cody Rejaro and the ruthless A.J Matthews. A.J had the advantage at first but Cody used his wit to take control until A.J fought back with the win from a Eastern Execution. Newly crowned FUSE Champion, Drake Fortune and his manager Edward Colgate came out for a “victory speech.” They both had equal time on the mic putting themselves over and how fast the title win came about after their decision to come together. It was spoiled by special guest star Kenny Omega who informed the duo he was challenging the belt tonight. 2) Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann vs. X Jack and Jack Powers: The two Jack’s teamed up to face the brutal combination of Thomas and Kagemann. The Jack’s had a better chance at the current team on a win streak but fell like all the others to the Fall/double stomp combo. Henry Edwards walked to the ring and said that every week he challenges Ace to a match and gets someone else instead. He demanded his title shot tonight. SNW Champion was quickly on the scene. He said that Edwards can’t face him tonight as their match has already been booked with both men on opposite sides of a six man tag team match. Ace then told Edwards that the only chance he could get a title shot with him is to win the Battle of Canada next week. 3) Gavin Hart vs. Jason Williams: Decent match with some good exchanges and as always from Jason highflying spots. Jason wowed the crowd with his offence and got the win in this fairly quick match following a Psycho Driver. Intermission. The announcer hyped up SNW’s double shot weekend in Ontario next week, including special guests Petey Williams and Tyson Dux. The two nights will hold the tours tournament, the Battle of Canada with the winner receiving a SNW World Title Shot. 4) Kevin Hart vs. Alex Diamond: Another good match slightly better than the match before intermission mainly due to Hart. Hart got a great response from his natives and put on a good show for them finishing off with a 450 and a Sharpshooter. After his win Kevin Hart got on the mic. He said although he is disappointed he lost the title he knows he has to move on. He said his sight is set on the SNW World Champion and the man who holds it. 5) Revolution X vs. AirDevils: RevX were out in full force with Hammers and Devine competing along with LyNN and Amy at ringside. RevX had the obvious numbers advantage with two former champions. The plucky underdogs fought back using all their might but fell to a huge Lariat to Tom and then a Liger Bomb on Clark. Mike Bockwinkel then came out and insulted the Canadian audience. “But I’m not here just to tell you awful Canadians how much better the United States are. I’m here to talk about a certain type of Dragon, a Red Dragon.” Bockwinkel then went on to rip verbally into Dragon. Mike said that at Showdown he’s gonna end Dragon once and for all. 6) FUSE: Drake Fortune vs. Kenny Omega: Quite a funny but well wrestled match. Omega was able to get the best out of Fortune for his first ever defence for the FUSE title. Fortune looked for the first time like he deserved a title run. Drake dodged the Croyt's Wrath by rolling out back into a roll up. Following the match Drake and his manager Edward Colgate made their quick escape. Omega stayed for a while to talk on the mic. He talked about the numerous times he has wrestled for SNW and is happy to be part of SNW’s Canada Tour. He said he will return but sadly not during this tour. 7) The Gentlemen’s Club and Ace Bennet vs. Henry Edwards and the New Age Lady Killers: A great way to end of the evening with action all over ringside with some top class athletes. Bennett and Edwards made their way out first to announce their teammates. For Bennett this was the longest reigning and now former SNW Duos Champions and Edwards picked the current SNW Duos Champions. Ace and Edwards had no time together as Ace kept his distance. Lots of big moves to lead up to the finish where Edwards made Jacobs submit to the Crossface. Hamilton, OntarioBATTLE FOR CANADA: NIGHT 1Dark Match) Cain Jackal vs. Enrique Rodriguez Jr: Jackal has had a name change to separate himself from the other Chris in the group. Good performances from both men ending in a knockout blow from Cain Jackal. Cain Jackal then cut a promo saying how from now on he’s going to prove who the best is in the Student division. Decent promo from Cain which led into our main show. The main show then started with the ring announcer going over tonight’s brackets for the Battle for Canada. All winners of the quarterfinal triple threat matches will go through to tomorrow night in Toronto. They will face off in two semi-final matches. The winners of the two semi-final triple threat matches will then face off in a singles match in the finals with the winner being crowned 2011 Battle for Canada winner and a future World title shot. “The Ace of Spades” hit and the SNW World Champion, Ace Bennett walked out at the entrance. On one arm the prestigious World title on the other a model. Bennett said how much he is looking forward to watching all these guys kill themselves just to face him one on one. He made fun of some crowd members before taking a private seat with his model “girlfriend.” 1) Mike Bockwinkel vs. Jason Williams vs. Drew Parkland: Good action to start off, everything you would expect from a three way with these three. Jason wowed the crowd once again but it was Bock with the win using his cunning and focusing on Drew neck which Ace semi-injured last week. Post match Ace stopped drinking his wine and stood up to clap for Bockwinkel’s performance. He even raised a glass to him for putting down Parkland and Jason. Bockwinkel didn’t care for Ace’s display and remained focus on the tournament. 2) Jack Powers vs. Cody Rejero vs. Mike Hogan: A slightly better three way as it included multiple team moves and long sequences of fast action. Hogan was particularly impressive and after breaking up the Choke Out with a Corkscrew Moonsault pinned Rejaro to advance. Post match Hogan helped Cody up and they shook hands. Hogan even held Cody’s arm up which the crowd loved. Powers then got up and shoved Hogan but before Hogan could react Cody cooled the situation and all three men celebrated together. 3) Chris Hammers vs. Tyson Dux vs. Jacob Ryler: Dux was massively over with the crowd and Hammers was massively hated. Ryler put on his usual performance and as usual was overshadowed. Dux nearly had the win on Ryler with a Boston Crab but it was Hammers who creamed Dux with a Lariat for the three count. Intermission. SNW Champion Ace Bennett left his seat for intermission but said he’d be back to watch more after he got to know his woman better. Bennett came back out before the show restarted and had more wine delivered to his seat. 4) Daniel Sinn vs. Nick Jacobs vs. Kevin Hart: Great way to kick back off with three great technicians. These guys were able to create their own unique triple threat which involved all three men trying everything to advance. In the end Hart hit a small package reversal into a Sharpshooter to advance by submission. Bret Thomas and Steven Kagemann walked to the ring and Bret grabbed a mic from ringside. Thomas said that they asked not to take part in the Battle for Canada because they didn’t want to challenge for the SNW World title. Instead they plan on taking the SNW Duos titles. Thomas said from now on they were the Fatality Squad. 5) Fatality Squad vs. AirDevils: Just like their match a few weeks back the match was dominated by Thomas and Kagemann. Their chemistry and teamwork trumped the opposing team. Despite their best efforts the Devils fell to the sickening Fall/Double Stomp combo. 6) Petey Williams vs. X Jack vs. A.J Matthews: Jack and A.J work very well together and along with the veteran Petey they stole the show. Jack hit a superkick on A.J knocking him off the apron then Petey hit the Canadian Destroyer to advance. Henry Edwards came out for his main event match. Edwards waited for his opponents which were the only unannounced match until “Children of the Revolution” hit the speakers. Hammers, LyNN, Devine and Amy all came out and Edwards was confused. Hammers then said that Devine is one of his opponents and LyNN is the other. Edwards didn’t complain and looked ready for a challenge. 7) Henry Edwards vs. LyNN vs. Jordan Devine: Great story telling as part way through the match Edwards began to fight back but Hammers tried to intervene however the referee caught Hammers helping LyNN attack Edwards and was not only sent to the back with Amy but LyNN was also disqualified from the match. For RevX it was down to Devine to win the match but he couldn’t put him away. Devine got frustrated and Edwards took advantage locking in a quick Crossface to win. Devine was ushered from the ring by the referee as he suspected Devine who attack the weakened Edwards. Edwards was hurt but slowly got to his feet to celebrate. He motioned to Ace that he was coming for his title but he has another two rounds to get through first and at the moment he doesn’t look like he will be able to compete tomorrow night. Top marks to SNW for putting on 6 separate three way matches and making them all unique. Good show, nice to see Ace featured a lot watching all the matches. Hope Edwards doesn't get to beat Ace on his first shot at the title (considering he wins). Cool to see Hart advance, would love to see him win it all. All of the other matches were quite predictable, but sounded good regardless. Keep it up.

Lol, dude, the brackets sound all kinds of weird! I'm loving Ace as champ! Good to see Bockwinkel win, but seems like he's kind of turning face from the end of the match there, he should've acknowledged Ace's toast. Good match from Hogan, I like the slow push he's getting. Saw Hammers winning that match, also glad to see him advancing. Especially with the histoy between Bockwinkel and him. Hart advancing is also awesome, he's one of my favorite characters. The Fatality Squad sounds super indy-ish. Which I see SNW more than. Again, Petey advancing is good, but I hope he gets knocked off in the next round. Whoever does that could hit the big time - Hogan perhaps? That main event sounded good, I do like how it further advances the story between two of the biggest stars in the Sims Wrestling world.
Sorry I haven't replied earlier, Drag (queen).

Toronto, OntarioBATTLE FOR CANADA: NIGHT 2Dark Match) Jet Jaguar vs. X Matt: A good fun and fast match from the students. Matt showed promise but fell to the TTM from Jaguar. Following the match the masked man went to attack X Matt but Travis Cantrell made the save. Jaguar exited as Cantrell tended to Matt. Then out came Christopher Kennedy Jones who has been rival to both Travis and Matt since they started training. Travis was now outnumbered by Jaguar and CKJ until Riley Shamrock made the save with a steel chair. Jaguar and CKJ then exited with the numbers now even. A short hype video was played to kick off the show highlighting the six remaining competitors in the Battle for Canada 2011. Ace Bennett made his way out with some “sad news.” He said that Henry Edwards is too injured to compete tonight and will not be wrestling. The crowd were shocked until “The Trooper” by Iron Maiden played and Edwards made his way out. Edwards said that he is hurt but Ace is just making up excuses. Edwards said he will wrestle tonight and will win the Battle for Canada 2011. 1) Jack Powers, X Jack and Jacob Ryler vs. LyNN, Jordan Devine and Nick Jacobs vs. AirDevils and A.J Matthews: A strange but good way to kick off the main show. Three teams of three men battled it out in a frenzy of crazy spots and even crazier tag moves. In the end A.J walked out on his team after attacking his partners leaving Devine to pick up the win for his team. The first semi-final for the Battle for Canada was up next. The three competitors made their way down but before the bell Red Dragon jumped out through the crowd and pulled Mike Bockwinkel out of the ring. They continued to brawl through the crowd and through the exit door. The referee waited for Bockwinkel to return but decided that he wouldn’t return and started the bell. 2) Semi-Finals: Mike Hogan vs. Chris Hammers vs. Mike Bockwinkel: [/s] The now singles match went very well with both men giving it their all to advance to the finals. A Lariat nearly put Hogan away and so did a Liger Bomb. Hammers then went to put Hogan away with the Last Minuite Orders only for Hogan to roll into a sunset flip pin for the three. Mike Hogan made his quick escape as Hammers was left frustrated in the ring. Steven Kagemann and Bret Thomas, now known collectively as the Fatality Squad made their way out. They said their challenge to the Duos titles have been accepted. They said that at the Showdown II live on iPPV they would take the titles. 3) Fatality Squad vs. Jason Williams and Cody Rejaro: As usual the destructive force ran though their opponents. Being natives Cody and Jason had a great response from the crowd but were defeated after the Fall/ Double Stomp combo 4) Semi-Finals: Henry Edwards vs. Kevin Hart vs. Petey Williams: The second semi-final was quickly underway with no interruption. All three men were loved by the crowd. For once Edwards didn’t get the loudest response instead Canadians Petey and Kevin got the loudest. Lots of great action espically from Hart who wanted to prove himself worthy of a World title shot. Hart locked in the Sharpshooter on Petey then Edwards ran over and locked in the Crossface at the same time on Petey! Being locked in two submissions Petey tapped but who won? There was confusion post match as both Hart and Edwards had submissions locked in at the time of submitting. The referee and the competitors went backstage and it was announced that a descision would be made during the intermission break. Intermission. Lots of people were speculating the events that had just happened. The comman view is that both men will advance to the finals. Cody and Jason were out signing despite being a little banged up. Also announced was a FUSE title match. 5) New Age Lady Killers vs. House of Cards: A decent enough match which only lasted a few minuites before the Fatality Squad came out. The House of Cards escaped but the Lady Killers were beaten down by Thomas and Kagemann ending in Sinn being hit by the Fall/ Double stomp combo. FUSE Champion Drake Fortune and manager Edward Colgate walked to the ring. Colgate said he has been told that Drake must defend his title tonight. They were unsure of their opponent until Tyson Dux came out to a great crowd response. 6) FUSE: Drake Fortune vs. Tyson Dux: Another great title match for Drake who has really stepped up his game since becoming champion. Lots of cool exchanges to a point where Dux went for a Piledriver this is when Colgate jumped up on the apron distracting Tyson and the referee which allowed Drake to hit Tyson with the belt to knock him out. The ref turned round and saw Drake getting the three count. Mike Hogan made his way out for the Battle for Canada finals. Both Henry Edwards and Kevin Hart walked out on the stage and were then met by Marc Ryland. Marc announced that by ruling neither man should go through as there was no clear winner. However Ryland said he didn’t want the night to end like this and neither do the fans so he’s making the finals a three way. 7) Finals: Mike Hogan vs. Henry Edwards vs. Kevin Hart: Great triple threat, the match of the night thanks to all three men putting on their best performances. In a great moment Hogan hit a Springboard Elbow on Henry then Hart landed on top in a 450 Splash. Later Edwards hit the Fatal Impact but Hogan broke up the count hitting a Futurism. With all three men exhausted Hart tripped the legs of Hogan and locked in a Sharpshooter but once again Edwards came over and locked in a Crossface. Just as Hogan was about to tap Edwards released his hold and pulled Hart from the submission. Edwards hit a HE Driver on Hart and got the pinfall on him for the win. Post match Edwards was handed the Battle for Canada 2011 trophy. He celebrated until Ace Bennett ran out and blasted Edward with the belt. Luckily for Edwards Hart and Hogan got up and scared Ace away before he could do anymore damage. After Hart and Hogan helped Edwards to his feet he grabbed the mic to tell Ace that he’s getting his title shot at The Showdown II. Bennett escaped as Hart, Hogan and Edwards shook hands and congratulated Edwards on his win. [/IMG] Chris Hammers is seen pacing back and forth backstage. He is still in his ring gear and looks very frustrated.Hammers: I am sick and tired of being treated like this. Back in the early FUSE days of SNW Chris Hammers was a name to be feared. I was the first ever SNW World Champion, then later the first ever two time SNW World Champion. I founded a team that still survives today, Revolution X. But these days the name Chris Hammers doesn’t strike fear into the hearts of my competitors. Now these kids think that they can get a quick win at my expense. And recently it was done once more but I will assure you that this is the last time. Mike Hogan you defeated me in Toronto and went onto fail in the main event and I know if I advanced I would have gone the whole way. So I want to send a message not just to Mike Hogan, not just to the young kids in the locker-room but everyone who is and will be competing in SNW. You DON’T f*** with Chris Hammers no more. But how can I prove this it’s easy just to say this but how can I back it up? Well starting next week Chris Hammers is going back to the ruthless son of a gun he used to be. It starts next week and ends when I have what is rightfully mine the SNW World Championship. However there’s one problem I must solve first, little Mike Hogan. So Hogan when we return to the United States for SNW’s second ever iPPV you and I will meet once more and I will show you what the name Chris Hammers truly stands for. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/terry_funk/WFigs Stuff/SNW Roster Pics/autograph_neel.jpg[/IMG] i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/terry_funk/WFigs Stuff/SNW Roster Pics/noble.jpg[/IMG] Drew Parkland and Daniel Sinn aka the New Age Lady Killers were sitting back on some chairs in what seems to be the backstage area. Next to them lay the SNW Duos titles and of course the customarily bottles of beer.Sinn: You got the camera rolling now kid? Camera guy: Uh, yeah Sinn: Right we got this camera man to film us backstage in our environment because we feel like we need to say something. Parkland: I’ll drink to that! They both raise bottles and finish a full beer bottleSinn: What we want to say is very important and should be kept with a focused mind Parkland: Too bad we’ve been drinking since 6am this morning Sinn: Hell Yeah They open another pair of bottles and proceed to drink them bothSinn: Right what we’re trying to say is... what are we trying to say Drew? Parkland: More drink? They open another two bottles and finish them off before wiping their lips of the boozy substanceSinn: Nah that wasn’t it. It’s those two little dumbwits Parkland: Who? Sinn: Kagemann and Thomas... the Fertility Squad Parkland: Nah that an’t right Sinn: Fatality Squad, that’s it. Right I got it now. What you guys did in Toronto was wrong. Parkland: Hell yeah Sinn: Attacking us like that was disgracefull, if you wanna fight us come at us from the front Parkland: You sing it brother! Sinn: So your challenge for the titles for the Showdown II is on! Parkland: DRINK! They barely open another two bottles in their intoxicated state and once again drink them down. As Drew finishes he falls of his chair.Sinn: So boys, you wann run with the big dogs? (belches) Well your gonna. So be prepared cause I know we will right Drew. The camera turns to Drew unconscious in a pile of spilt beer.i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd81/terry_funk/WFigs Stuff/SNW Roster Pics/sheik1_39686.jpg[/IMG] He’s going to break your back and make you humble it’s everyone’s favourite Iranian professional wrestler the Iron Sheik and he’s coming to SNW! The WWE Hall of Famer will make an appearance that you will not want to miss at SNW’s second iPPV, The Showdown II. Due to the success of Terry Funk’s appearance at One Night in Philly SNW has got in contact with another legendary wrestler. The former WWF Champion is known for his nonsensical rants so it’s going to be a treat to see what Sheiky baby does when he appears on Live iPPV. The iPPV will also feature top quality matches that you won’t want to miss. The PPV can only be seen from Go Fight Live.

The Showdown is going to be a great show, I can see that already. Glad you made the finals a three way, really puts over Hart and Hogan to put up such a fight against Edwards. I really hope Ace retains this time, it seems he would be more of a paper champion if he couldn't defeat the man who was never defeated for the championship. Hoping Fatality Squad goes away with the Tag Championships, they've been built very well. Really can't wait for Red Dragon/Bockwinkel either. Keep it up man.
